It was very cozy and the staff were so friendly. The laundry was very quick and nice.

Rooms are not very big but for the money you pay it’s perfect.

It has everything you need, it’s also close to everything where all the night life is and is easy to get to other places from. The hosts were really kind and warm.

The smell of the AC it gave a moist or moldy smell and I know this is common in places around Thailand but that’s a personal opinion, otherwise it was great.

El personal es muy amable y servicial. Nada más confirmar la reserva nos explicaron cómo llegar sin problema. Buena ubicación y bien comunicado con transporte público.Buen desayuno. Buena relación calidad/precio. Limpio, cama cómoda y el baño como suele ser habitual en estos alojamientos. Recomendable!

Nos tocó la primera planta y genial pero si te toca en la cuarta prepárate para subir sin ascensor ;-) No tendria que ser un problema pero avisados estáis...

La posizione é molto comoda. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione é buona. Per il prezzo, è stato un buon soggiorno.

La stanza purtroppo era molto piccola, tanto da non permettere di aprire i bagagli. Però é tutto abbastanza coerente con le foto, quindi se volete ciò che vedete nelle immagini allora va benissimo!

Sandi was incredibly nice to us and made our stay feel like we were at home.

Sandy is one of the kindest people we have met on our travels! We came back here a second time because she was so nice to us and made our stay so much better. The place is lovely, it's quiet, near a lot of things to do and very fairly priced. Sandy made the stay extra special for us!

Lo staff del 4J Lodge é fantastico, ci hanno scritto appena arrivati a Bangkok, dandoci istruzioni precise su come indicare al grab di portarci al corretto palazzo (ha più sedi). Questo adorabile Hostello (a differenza della foto in copertina ora ha un piacevole bersò su cui ci sono dei tavolini per fare colazione la mattina (colazione ottima: frutta, pane tostato, burro marmellata). La camera era pulita, dotata di aria condizionata, bagno in camera, asciugacapelli, acqua fresca o calda a disposizione a qualunque ora (con caffé o the inclusi)! Wow!

It was a very layed back environment, the the garden was beautiful, the food was awesome,communication from Sandi and her friendliness was exceptional ..If your on a budget I would highly recommend to stay here Sandi went out of her way to make you feel welcome.

Ho pagato per una stanza e me ne è stata data un’altra. Infatti la doccia era un solo doccino sopra il wc, quindi quando ti lavi bagni ovunque. Per fare il check in da soli è stato complicato capire che fare. Poi non parlano inglese, quindi è stato anche difficile trovare il posto. Non lo consiglio.

very lovely staff! location was great, right along a little canal that’s nice to walk along, not too far to walk to pier, khoa san and many temples, aswell as lots of restaurants options. Simple breakfast in the morning. Room had everything you needed, the bed was comfy, also in general area you have access to hot water, cold drinking water, a fridge, tea and coffee etc. Very lovely, safe and comfortable, thankyou for our stay

The bathroom had small amounts of mould and was hard to close the door. But it is very good value for price, hence 10/10 score.

Great location and very friendly receptionist. The room was clean and spacious enough, with a private bathroom. Satisfying breakfast. You can also refill drinking water or make tea and coffee anytime for free.

The whole place is a SCAM, I booked a "suit" which was very expensive and I got the worst room ever, the shower was disgusting!!!!, you have to take either the shower over the toilet or over the sink, 5 days and they didn't do cleaning not even once, I booked 6 days but I gave up and left earlier because I was concern about my Health as the room had an odor you can breathe the mould from the bathroom, the first night the air-conditioning wasn't working, I have to slept in most horrible heat conditions, the "flat screen" works better when is off because doesn't work at all, they show a full length mirror in the app photos but that doesn't exist, I wouldn't recommend this place, this is a scam and just garbage, I regret booking in this place so much, that wasn't a "SUIT" at all, they ripped me off and put my health in risk.

The location is great, even though it is very close to the popular Khaosan road, the hotel is secluded in a quiet alley, there's small shops where and cafes where is possible to find any kind of food for different budgets also the staff is extremely kind and helpful, like almost every person I encountered in Thailand.

Really central location and nice to see a different side of Bangkok along the canal. The lady at reception is so friendly and helpful - we planned our taxi to the airport through her and she turned our washing around in less than 24 hours! The rooftop bar attached is lovely, a nice place to spend a hot afternoon.

Sandi was brilliant at communicating with me for my later check in (about 11:30pm) and details of hostel location and key card lock box for me to access. Though the room was small, it was just what I needed to rest for just one night. Breakfast in the morning was simple but nice (toast, cereal, watermelon, coffee). Sandi let me have a late check out and leave my bag there at no extra cost before I went to Airport. The nearby restaurant was also nice to relax at before departing.

Когда мы приехали у нас не было брони ,мужчина взял и помог с чемоданами ,а молодая девушка на ресепшен постоянно нас чем-то угощала ,это было так мило и искренне, в отеле тихо и есть все что необходимо для жизни ,питьевая вода, кондиционер, вентилятор, в доступе всегда чай, сахар, уборка комнаты хорошая , также тут можно постирать вещи ,с нас за это не вздымали плату ,мы прожили тут больше двух недель и у нас нареканий нет, советую !

I have never experienced better hospitality than I did in 4j lodge. The staff members were excellent in ensuring I had everything I need at all times. Great location and comfortable rooms.

Helpful and friendly host with a really warm attitude. Location probably in the best area near old town, with a lot less noise. Authentic and cozy place to stay in Bangkok.

One room had an issue with the AC. It would be really nice to have more toiletries in the bathroom. Everything else met our expectations quite well.

Everything was good, it’s a simple but fine hostel

Wir waren für drei Nächte während unseres zweiten Aufenthalts in Bangkok in dieser Unterkunft und können sie uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist hervorragend – der Pier für das Hop-on-Hop-off-Boot ist in etwa acht Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, sodass man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten bequem erkunden kann. Besonders überzeugt hat uns das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Obwohl der reguläre Check-in deutlich später gewesen wäre, konnten wir bereits gegen 8 Uhr morgens unser Zimmer beziehen, was nach der Anreise eine große Erleichterung war. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem Personal. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Auch nach dem Check-out durften wir unser Gepäck noch rund zwölf Stunden in der Unterkunft aufbewahren, wodurch wir unseren letzten Tag in Bangkok ganz entspannt genießen konnten!

Das Bad ist sehr minimalistisch und das Frühstück besteht "nur" aus Obst, 2 Toast und Marmelade.

Perfect location to explore Bangkok, close to a lot of things to do! Right on the river and not far from a market. The room was standard with a comfy bed. What made our stay amazing and why we would come back was our lovely host Sandi, she made sure to always greet us with a smile and felt as if we was coming home to family everytime we walked through the door. A real diamond she was, the kindest person we have met on our travels. Don’t know if the hotel would be the same without her.

We booked a private room with a normal window (on the picture) but we got a room without a window just with a big plastic door and entrance from the garden part - so you could hear everyone talking outside, also if you would like some natural light in the room you need to forget about privacy. The room was made from some old garage, the bathroom really tiny and very old (nothing like in the pictures) with a broken sliding door. No closet only a couple of hangers inside. The big plus was the really nice host and nice bar located on the roof top plus location.

L'emplacement, en 10 minutes de plusieurs endroits à visiter comme Chinatown, les super temples et la balade sur le fleuve.

Das Personal ist super freundlich. Der kleine Innenhof ist zauberhaft mit vielen künstlichen Blumen dekoriert und einem kleinen Fisch Bassin und Wasserfall. Es gibt Kaffee und Tee zur Verfügung. Das Frühstück war auch einfach aber völlig ok . Um die Eckee einige nette Restaurants und Bars direkt am Kanal.

Zimmer war leider sehr dunkel und es roch etwas feucht … Bad ist Mini .
