Der Strand war nicht wirklich ein Strand. Das hat die Kinder etwas enttäuscht. Da man nicht gut am Wasser spielen konnte

Just a note if you have a fireplace in a facility it would be good to supply paparr and kindling to start the fire, communal dining room was cold,. There was nothing to start fire with. Would have been awesome to have it going for warmth and ambience

A bit pricey for off season and location

Probably the best holiday park we’ve ever been in New Zealand. The bathrooms and showers are big, modern, and beautiful. The beach is right at your door. Perfect!

It’s 5 km away from town, but it’s worth it.

The property was nice and peaceful, although we only stayed for one night. I really loved the location.

Die Unterkunft war scheinbar neu eingerichtet. Es roch auch ganz neu. Die Küche war top ausgestattet; inkl. Spülmaschine.

Es war alles in Ordnung. Die Nähe zum Pool und dort spielende Kinder könnten den einen oder anderen stören.

Es war ruhig und alles vorhanden, was man benötigt!

Es hat im Raum etwas komisch gerochen…

It said it was sea views from the cabin it kind of was but I was expecting to be able to walk stright out and fish but no u had to drive else where to do that. But I still really liked it

La cabine est dans le même bâtiment où se trouve la cuisine commune. Alors beaucoup de bruit jusque très tard et ça recommence très tôt le matin. Donc boulet qu'ils ou mauvaise nuit

The scenery was fantastic! Right on the shore front (double bed cabin) , great view with the tide in, and an interesting walk plus a great view with the tide out. The room was spacious and clean, with all facilities you need, even a simple kitchen to cook and store food/ drinks. Had cabins either side of us but always had privacy. Not walking distance to the town, but you can drive in and get takeaway to bring back and enjoy the sunset. Staff were very friendly! Would 100% return.

Einzih das Wetter war miserabel, so dass wir mit schönen Wetter nochmals gehen sollten.

The cleanliness, the access to the shop, coffee in the morning and the pool. The carts you could hire and the friendliness of the staff. The amenities and space for the kids to run around was great.

Says smoking not allowed but smokers were everywhere along with their cigarette ends left on the ground. Also love that it’s dog friendly but dog poo was not always picked up.

The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, our accomodation had great supplies and was very comfortable and the hygiene levels are the best we've ever experienced in a campsite. Very child-friendly as well, with lots of activities.

I wish we had booked longer but work got in the way.

What a fabulous location, and a georgeous comfortable little home in a wonderful idyllic garden settiing with sea views, and with the forested hillside only several metres up from the homestay Friendly helpful discrete hosts: Terry and Kathy An easy and pleasant walk down to the sheltered coves of Whanarua Bay A well appointed kitchen, and large floor to ceiling fully-opening glass doors on the seaward side of the kitchen and living area, opening onto a veranda which opens into the luxurent garden, and with sea views We stayed here several years ago and loved it, and when we came back it was just as lovely as we had remembered

Sheldrake is so lovely, I annot think of anything that could have made it better

Loved the location to the beach which was great for paddle boarding & our little glamping pod was perfect. Facilities like toilets and kitchen were clean and loved not having to have a gold coin for a shower.

Extremely clean and well maintained. Good location and heaps to do with little kids.

The pool was overcrowded with grown adults doing massive bombs which made it very hard to swim with a two year old. Adults doing silly stuff from 11am till 4pm.

Appartement correct pour moi

J'ai réservé deux appartement ce jour là et celui de mon fils n'était pas préparé à notre arrivée tardive, pas de draps, couverture, et la salle de bain et les toilettes n'était pas privative comme ma confirmation de reservation faite. PAS DE RESEAU pour le téléphone, internet faible et pas sécurisé.

Loud people, thought it would be a lodge- in fact it was a shared block of almost paper construction. Very moisy, hard to sleep.

The place is an exact location to relax and enjoy sitting in front of the sea and listening to the birds' sounds.

They were building/fixing part of the garden, which made it a little untidy with soil on the pathways.

Staff were very polite and helpful. The venue was perfectly appointed and good value for the money. At the end of my stay I was disappointed to hear that an extra person who joined my group, was disrespectful and rude. I wish the staff had found me (the person who booked and paid for the group of 10 plus 1) to discuss the issues at the time. Still - a great location and excellent amenities.

What a hidden gem of a place. Staff were super pleasant and helpful. Fantastic weekend away.

Clean, easy parking.

We got the beachside front unit and the view was breathtaking. We spent the evening stargazing and enjoying the silence of the area. We will come again!

Awesome Deluxe Pod with great view of the ocean. Probably the best view of the whole park. Pods were a bit separate from the RV places. Nice pod, comfy bed, sofa, fridge and outside seating. Very good and clean bathroom and shower facilities.

Pretty pricey. You get (families with kids) what you book (Holiday Park) - a bit of a hustle and bustle and kids running around.

Camping site, ocation, the showers and toilets, hot water and clean. Playground.

The water was not clean/potable. The Lodge room was located near a bad smell coming from the water pumps or toilets. We had to keep the room's door closed at all times for the smell.

It was a beautiful place. My grandson loved the place. Would recommend this place

I booked the studio on booking. Com and they upgraded us to a spacious 2 bedroom unit with views,

I am nit disabled but there are no handgrips in the disabled shower. Perhaps put some of your lights on sensor lighting, help decrease your power bill

Lovely location and the sleeping pods on the beach were a wee gem.

I was standing at the door waving at the people inside nd they clearly just ignored me it said ring the office but i had no cellphone reception while there was people right there was just abit ignorant if you ask me i rung the intercom after tht nd she was very helpful but it says use intercom for emergencys so i wasnt sure if i should use it , but other than tht the stay was great and check out was a breeze and the cabin i had was cozy nd very warm 😊
