We waren enorm in de watten gelegd door Rosa..die. zodra we ook maar iets vroegen, meteen voor ons klaarstond..de plek is ook geweldig, met s nachts de geluiden die bij het.eiland horen ( cegorro en de salamaders)

We moesten wel even wennen dat het terras niet aansloot bij het huisje, maar dat wende gauw.

De liggig en het uitzicht zijn prachtig!

Het kan wat warm worden in het appartment en ventilator zou fijn zijn om het appartement te luchten.

Tolle ruhige Lage. Zentral gelegen für Ausflüge auf der Insel. Die Mutter des Hausbesitzer führt gerne durch den Garten und weiht Interessenten in die Herstellung des eigenen Kaffees ein. Nachts im Bett hört man die Brandung. Eine der besten Unterkünfte!

Die Küchenausstattung ist etwas dürftig.

Una casa che era più simile ad un sogno che ad un alloggio. Spaziosa, pulita, in un vicoletto tranquillo fronte oceano. Non si può chiedere di meglio per un soggiorno alle Azzorre. Grazie a Rita e alla sua gentilezza. Consiglierei a tutti di soggiornare qui!

The apartment is the one downstairs in the old stone building. It is good for 2-3 people. We stayed for 5 nights. You can tell that everything on the island is a bit moist and the apartment isn't really big. We would nevertheless come back anytime. The area as beautiful. You can swim from the boat ramp (6 min walk), have a beautiful view on the ocean, pico and can even have a dinner at the new fish restaurant or the food truck. It's an unspoiled gem. The old neighbors are super cute (we got cake, fresh bananas and tomatoes). It's a good location to explore the island and see the authentic sao jorge.

It's a small apartment and sometimes ventilation isn't great. But if you don't mind, it's a perfect place to relax.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Es war sehr sauber und es war alles da, was man braucht. Unser Highlight war die schöne Terrasse mit einem wundervollen Blick. Die Lage des Hauses ist auch sehr gut um die Insel zu erkunden. Die Vermieterin ist auch sehr freundlich und hat uns bei Fragen und Anliegen sehr schnell geholfen. Wir können die Unterkunft von Herzen empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Só uma observação quem dorme sofá sala, as janelas não tem portadas..... Fica bem cedinho com luz.

prachtig appartement op de bovenverdieping!!! (er is ook een appartement op het gelijkvloers, maar dit vind ik minder gunstig gelegen) oud , authentiek en rustiek huis in een zalig rustige omgeving Manadas is een piepklein dorp met een grote charme.

L unica cosa è che non abbiamo trovato gli essenziali come shampoo e bagnoschiuma, ma l alloggio è veramente bellissimo e lo consigliamo vivamente

Sehr schöne und saubere Unterkunft. Traumhaft und ruhig gelegen am Ende des Dorfes mit Sicht auf Pico. Diese Sicht kann man auch aus dem Schlafzimmer geniessen. Wer Sorge vor dem Gesang der Gelbschnabel Sturmtaucher hat, dieses Schauspiel endet meist vor Mitternacht und steht einem ruhigen Schlaf nicht im Wege. >Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Eine schöne kleine Wohnung im Untergeschoss mit allem was man so erwartet. Perfekte und ruhige Lage mit spektakulären Blick auf den Pico. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Auch die Nachbarin ist sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte mein Handy verloren und bekam viel Unterstützung bei der Suche...zum Glück wurde es gefunden.

Nadherny pobyt na Sao Jorge. Mali sme apartman na hornom poschodi, izba bola s vyhladom na ostrov Pico s dominantnym vrchom rovnakeho nazvu. Vyborna komunikacia majitela cez booking, kluce nam odovzdala velmi ochotna a mila starsia dama.Ubytovanie je v historickom zrekonstruovanom dome na konci ulice, kde pocujete prijemny zvuk mora. Dakujeme, urcite sa vratime.

Die Lage und die Aussicht waren genial! Die Vermieterin hat kurzfristig noch einen Heizkörper organisiert, da es sonst im Januar sehr kalt war.

Communication with the owner was very fast. The location is great for exploring the island and at the same time it is a completely peaceful place. Fantastic view of Pico and a wonderful church. Visits from the lovely local cats :-) . We appreciated the heating, I can't imagine being without it in December. On the way from the airport, buy groceries at the market in Urzelina. In the summer there must be fantastic seating on the terrace. Unfortunately we couldn't appreciate that in December.

As guests on a longer stay, we would welcome at least a basic offer of tea and coffee or maybe some local fruit.

Très belle maison traditionnelle en pierre volcanique, bien au calme. Logements plutôt grands. Le petit jardin / terrasse à 15m pour manger avec la vue sur Pico est très agréable !

Les gentils chats des propriétaires sont très à l'aise... à déconseiller aux allergiques !

Widok, sypialnia i część salonu połączony z kuchnią. Znakomity kontakt z osobami obsługującymi. Klimat budynku i miejsca jego położenia.

Mini "tarasik"- raczej niefunkcjonalny, ale krzesła przenosiliśmy kilka metrów dalej na skraj końca asfaltowej drogi i podziwialiśmy widok na ocean i Pico. Okno w kuchni na poziomie gruntu.Zapach wilgoci w meblach kuchennych.

Nous regrettons de ne pas être accueillis par le propriétaire, les clefs étaient sur la porte fenêtre de la chambre. Cette maison dispose de 2 appartements 1 en RdC et 1 en étage, nous regrettons que le descriptif soit généralisé. Ce qui ne correspond pas pour l'appartement du RdC, nous n'avions pas de machine à café mais une petite cafetière italienne pour 2 tasses, impossible de faire correctement les petits déjeuner pour 2 (un message au propriétaire n'a rien changé) pas d'ouverture de fenêtre dans la cuisine, nous n'avons pas trouvé le bouton de marche de la hôte. Nous ne pouvions pas laissé la porte d'entrée ouverte à cause du passage de véhicules ou des véhicules qui profitent de l'espace pour un retournement. La table de cuisine est une tablette de 1.2m x0.60m fixée au mur et 2 petits tabourets, nous avons utilisé une chaise du mobilier extérieur, on ne peut pas parler de confort dans ces conditions. Pas de sommier pour le lit principal plusieurs planches de bois disposées cote à cote et le matelas par dessus. le mobilier extérieur une petite table et 2 chaises pliantes coincées entre le mur de la maison et la rue, voir la position de la porte d'entrée qui est enclavée, voir les photos.

The facility was excellent and the hostess was friendly and helpful.

Narrow roads and scarce parking

Friendly host, nice neighbours, wonderful atmosphere. Short walk to a good swimming spot with colourful fish. Terrace with a magnificent view of mt. Pico.

Rosa and Maria, thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable stay! This is a beautiful home and it was hard to leave! Especially because of the silence and of course because Maya and Kika. We will come back!

Adorable local cottage in a very small town. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment on the second floor. Neighbors gave us a walking tour and showed us their garden and taught us history of the area.

The kind help of Rosa, including a little present from her garden, and the place of the house close to Urselina and at the sea. We liked the terasse with the view, even it was not directly connected to the room, but just a few steps above the house.

The main bed was a problem for us, the quality did not let us sleep well. We switched to the bed-sofa in the living room, which was just fine.

The location (very small town) is fantastic and the views at sunset are beautiful. Great friendly neighbours.

The apartment is pretty basic, but if you're willing to compromise it's a great place to stay.

Very good communication with the host Rita. The apartment is well located in a beautiful and quiet corner of Manadas yet just a few steps to the town center which has a nice church and a port where you can watch the pounding waves against the backdrop of Pico island. The bedroom is very cosy with windows on two sides open to the beautiful views of Mount Pico, banana fields and the ocean. The sunrise and sunset views were just amazing. The apartment overall is very well equipped and comfortable. The neighbors are incredibly friendly and we also really enjoyed the friendly and lovely cats. We had a wonderful week in this little piece of paradise.

It's not a negative but just a suggestion, maybe a longer curtain would provide a better privacy in the bathroom.

The place is really lovely and very clean. There is a great view of Pico, and we loved looking out at the lights of Pico from the porch at night. Rita was very responsive to any issues we had. The wifi was really weak, even after Rita provided a new router. Visitors should download tv shows or movies in advance if they want to watch anything during their stay. We loved coming home to this house at the end of the day!!!
