Pyha igloos are right at the bottom of the family adventure area slopes! So handy for sledging post 17:30 and also coming back from the pub! The room was lovely! Really comfortable beds and a great boot warmer! We were lucky enough to get an aurora show on the first night! Wish we were there for longer really!

The shower is quite small but absolutely fine!

Access to the sauna/jacuzzi has to be paid extra, which was a surprise to me especially considering the price of the room. On top of it, upon our arrival, they were fully booked for both nights. So book ahead if you’re planning to use them. There are some lights outside of the property that were, at least during one of the two nights that we stayed, not turned off all night. Even the other night, it was still pretty bright so there is definitely a lot of light pollution. During our stay the sky was overcast but not sure if it would even be possible to see the northern lights in these conditions.

The inside of the igloo is amazing. It’s comfortable, cozy, and you can adjust temperature and other stuff to your liking. It has cooking amenities, coffee, hot chocolate… I liked that there was a button that would heat up the igloo glass in case of snow or freezing temperatures so you could still see.

I was expecting the outside to be fully dark to better be able to see the stars and auroras, but I felt like there was too much light surrounding the igloo, which definitely took from the experience since it was a good day for auroras but there was too much light. It’s also quite expensive.

Propre et lit très agréable. Logement super confortable et bien agencé même avec deux lits d'appoint pour nos enfants.

Logement insolite, igloo de verre pour voir les aurores boréales mais énormément de pollution lumineuse autour!!! On s'attendait à ce que ça s'éteigne au bout d'un moment mais non ça reste allumé toute la nuit.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was of such high quality and had parking almost right outside. Unfortunately I only stopped here one night and I wished I’d stayed longer. There aren’t many cabins so it has a very personal feel to it.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Wir hatten das Glück die Nordlichter an beiden Abenden sehen zu können. Auch das Skigebiet ist wunderschön! Man kann vom Hotel aus direkt einen Lift nehmen. Die Pisten sind traumhaft schön! Einen Abend haben wir den Sauna und Jacuzzi Bereich gemietet, hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen! Die Unterkunft bietet eine kleine Hütte in der man sein Essen über dem Feuer grillen kann. Wir fanden das super schön und urig! Im anliegenden Nationalpark kann man schöne Spaziergänge machen. Die Autofahrt nach Pyhä war auch wunderschön! Auch wenn die Unterkunft hochpreisiger ist, ist es im Verhältnis zu anderen Igloos bezahlbar. Wir sind mit der Experience komplett zufrieden und würden definitiv wieder kommen.

Struttura incantevole, ottima posizione sotto la pista da scii per chi vuole approfittarne! A piedi si può raggiungere anche il market e Café restaurant. La struttura merita davvero, pulita, accogliente, il letto sotto il vetro dell igloo é qualcosa di indescrivibile! Noi abbiamo avuto anche la fortuna di vedere l aurora boreale! davvero un sogno che si realizza! Consigliatissmo!

This place is a hidden gem! Well located and it is really nice to be away from the hussle in rovaniemi. We saw Aurora from our bed. The igloo is very well equipped (the huge dryer for snow clothes was a great surprise!) The staff is so so nice! We didn’t use the spa (because there is so much to do in Pyha we ran out of time) but we used the bbq hut and that was so cool! The sky at Pyha is also really great! We did skiing, adventure park e ice climbing/zip line, aurora tour and reindeer rides, kids snow mobile and they all pick you up at the hotel. There is a grocery store really close by. The kitchen in the igloo has everything you may need. The restaurants in town are all great!

L'hôtel était parfait, nous sommes venues pour un anniversaire et le personnel a eu la gentillesse de nous faire un petit cadeau ! Chambre exceptionnelle, la literie est très confortable et dormir sous les étoiles est vraiment incroyable :) Des luges sont à disposition afin de profiter de la piste de ski après sa fermeture. Un supermarché et un restaurant sont à 5 min de marche.

L'emplacement était super loin de la ville mais quand même proche, malgré la lumière du bâtiment, nous avons pu voir ses aurores boréales depuis notre lit

The location next to the ski slopes, in s quite place but with restaurants and supermarket close by. We saw the northern lights even it’s not the most dark place. They borrow us winter shoes and other equipment to enjoy even more the place. Alas the auroras tour they recommend was great

Très charmant igloo situé il faut compter 1h30 depuis l’aéroport de Rovaniemi. Tout équipé très propre, dormir sous les étoiles et se réveiller en voyant la nature c’est une expérience extraordinaire, il y’a une station de ski juste à côté Petit conseil : la hotte vous conseillera peut-être le restaurant Hööri mais c’est trop chère, j’ai demandé un plat de rôti de renne au prix de 34€ mais aucun accompagnement il sont en supplément à 6€ normalement a ce prix on a plat complet

It looks amazing, everything is clean, the bed is comfortable, there are all kinds of appliances (so you can prepare food because Finnish restaurants have tiny portions :D), the toilet is spacious. The igloo window is great and the view provides a sense of calm. Really great stay overall.

Świetna lokalizacja, bardzo wygodne, sterowane łóżka z widokiem na niebo, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, kawa i herbata w pokoju, ciepło i przytulnie, gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. Polecam!

Sehr kalt, wir hatten die Heizung auf der höchsten Stufe und hatten trotzdem vier Schichten an- ich weiß, dass es aufgrund des Iglos sehr kalt werden kann, hätte mir aber eine stärkere Heizung gewünscht.

It is north facing, so basically the northern light is there when you open your eyes, staff there are very friendly too! I regret of staying for only one night

We were so lucky to see northern lights during our one night stay at the igloo. It wasn’t so obvious from inside but once stepped outside of the igloo, we could see it fuller and on the other side of the accommodation.

It’s half glass roof that shaped a little like igloo but from the front and external facade it looks like a normal house. Wished they were designed like individual igloo house for more privacy and experience.

Casas excelentes , com bastante conforto. As crianças adoraram os trenós disponíveis. A oferta de café, chá e mini-leites foi um otimo mimo para o pequeno almoço.

As luzes exteriores mesmo junto aoa quartos quebram a escuridão que deveríamos ver das camas.

Iglues look amazing. Superb location, close to the slopes and shops and restaurants. The shower/bathroom was amazing. The large dryer in the room makes it easy to get clothes dry for the next day. Kitchen has essentials, enough to get a basic breakfast or dinner ready. View from the windows is great, albeit a bit polluted from the city lights.

Alles war sauber, schön, wir hatten alles im Zimmer, die Lage ist top! Wir konnten vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Personal war sehr nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Die Nachteile sind zunächst das Bett. Es war kein richtiges Doppelbett mit Matratze. Matratze ist immer verrutscht, für den Preis hätten wir was besseres erwartet. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist die Apotheke. Wir mussten über eine Stunde mit dem Auto zur Apotheke fahren... es gab nur im K-Markt einen Schrank mit Erkältungsmitteln und sonst nichts. Das Hotel kann nichts dafür, falls ihr dort bleiben wollt nimmt eure Medikamente mit!

A acomodação é INCRÍVEL! Tudo muito organizado e deixaram café como cortesia. Não conseguimos ver a aurora boreal do Igloo já que a máquina de neve do resort de ski fazia com que o céu ficasse nublado, mas se não fosse isso, teríamos conseguido ver ela do Igloo. Quando comentei essa questão, a moça da recepção foi super simpática e nos mostrou um ótimo caminho que chegava no lago e que deu para ver a aurora boreal. Super recomendo a estadia no Pyhä Igloos.

It was set in a beautiful location. Just at the bottom of one for the ski slopes. The interior was well designed

Beautiful place, vey friendly staff (especially Minna), nice amenities, literally right next to the ski resort, but also beautiful cosy rooms with big glass for aurora view (if you are lucky) while being walking distance from grocery stores, restaurants etc. The sauna/outdoor jacuzzi is a must + the hut with the Finnish bbq experience is also really great. We only stayed there for a couple of days, wish we had 4-5 daysat least to really chill & enjoy the place more without being in a hurry.

Since we were commuting to Rovaniemi and our stay was small, the 1.5-2 hour drive in the winter that we had to do daily was a bit too much; which is why I would recommend Pyha Igloos for a bit longer stays (4-5 days min) to really enjoy both the resort as well as the surrounding areas + increase likelihood to see the norhtern lights!

Great quieter location but still with a good selection of restaurants nearby and a shop all in walking distance. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable with good facilities.

Expected the BBQ room to be open and running, but would have only really been used for the cosiness.

Very nice to spend some cozy nights in beautiful Lapland. Was cool to book the jacuzzi and sauna, bed very comfortable and very nice room.

A box of tissues would be great :)

Good experience of igloos stay, I wish the light at the back is off so we can see aurora directly from our igloos window. Overall we love the place, convenient to supermarket and pyha ski resort, we are able to try the cross country skiing.

The door handle in our room was not working. This was flagged the day before and a make shift plastic piece was attached. We got locked into our room which is a huge safety risk. I believe management knew this door had the potential to not open.The electrician was called to correct and he spent almost 3 hours with the door open fixing this.(-14c weather) We were not offered any alternative accomodation or any slight customer service. We were even hoping from an apology from the owner. WiFi is also quite bad just to note

Great atmosphere combined with welcoming interior design. Loved sleeping under the stars in a half-igloo. The panorama windows with the snow-covered trees contributed to the atmosphere. Option of using private sauna & jacuzzi can be booked with additional cost - but then you really have it all to yourself for 90 minutes.

The pricing of using the sauna & jacuzzi were too high, especially considering that the jacuzzi only managed to create sufficient massage pressure in one out of the 5 or 6 seats.

La struttura è molto accogliente e la camera mi è piaciuta davvero tanto. Ho apprezzato molto anche la possibilità di usare la kota accanto al mio igloo che hanno acceso apposta per farmi trascorrere una serata speciale. Il personale davvero gentile e premuroso.

L’unico aspetto migliorabile è l’illuminazione esterna: le luci davanti al vetro dell’igloo sono troppo forti e rendono difficile osservare il cielo nelle ore notturne. Per il resto, esperienza davvero piacevole.

Lovely stay! The place was just as described, clean and cozy with a fully equipped kitchen. The bed was super comfy, and the supermarket was nearby. I was lucky to see the Northern Lights right from my room — such a wonderful experience! 💫🌌

The only small downside was the high fence at the back, which gives good privacy but can show up in photos. Other than that, everything was perfect! ❤️
