Reviewed May 27, 2024Without Gentles help i would have had a much more difficult time in china. He speaks english and ensured that i was able to get around safely. He also became my friend 10/10

Reviewed Apr 15, 2024It was my worst travel experience ever. It occurred in the middle of nowhere, in an unsafe area, with a strange man. Immediately, I did not feel safe. The 'room' was merely a couch on a balcony and was very dirty. I had already paid the cleaning fee of $100. After seeing the room, I immediately left because I did not feel safe. I didn't get any money back, not even my cleaning fee (even though I didn't even sleep there). I got scammed here. I paid for 7 nights and didn't stay a single night. I got scammed; no money back. I would not recommend anyone to sleep here!"

Reviewed May 9, 2019The owner is super friendly and very accommodating, he’ll help you in any way possible (getting there, information, ect.) This was my first time visiting China and I’m glad I came here. Close to the subway and little markets and a McDonald’s. Would recommend to anyone

Reviewed Feb 21, 2019This homestay is close to the subway, and near a few convenience stores and small restaurants. The owner is extremely friendly and can communicate well in English. The sleeping arrangements are acceptable, especially if you’re travelling Beijing on a budget. Overall I recommend this homestay if it’s your first time in Beijing and need help booking taxis.
