Every staff member we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and attentive. Enjoyable to talk with. I requested extra towels and received them within 10 minutes. Parking was also free.

Unfortunately the room didn't feel clean especially the bathroom. I understand that it was a holiday weekend however the cleanliness of the room reflected this. Also I booked the premium corner king room and don't think that's what was received. But again it was a holiday weekend and we checked in later so I take the blame for that.

The Crowne Plaza staff was absolutely wonderful—helpful, caring, friendly, and genuinely welcoming! From the evening and morning front desk staff to the bar staff and everyone who helped make our room and stay comfortable, the service was exceptional. My husband and I had such a wonderful time! We will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to all of our family and friends. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable! ❤️

I have stayed at this hotel countless times, and it always exceeds my expectations in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and every other metric. However, the experience that my husband and I had earlier this week was beyond superb. Our schedules have been quite busy, so we decided to go to North Augusta for a quick jaunt. We did not have reservations and requested an early check-in. Before leaving to walk along the riverside and visit our favorite haunts in Hammonds Ferry, we were told that they would notify us as soon as a room was available. We walked down to the pavilion where we had gotten married, reminiscing about how, over the years, we had literally fallen in love just exploring the natural beauty, culinary offerings, and quiet and electric moments both inside and within the vicinity of the hotel. When we returned, the staff at the front desk demonstrated their trademark professionalism and warmth. When a young lady asked if we had stayed there previously, we indicated that we stayed there quite frequently but hadn't been there within the past six months. We explained that the hotel had played a central role in our courtship, with me residing in Atlanta and my husband being based in Sumter. The gentleman at the desk smiled, saying, "We are your half-way point." Later, my husband and I were relaxing in our room when there was a knock at the door. An employee presented him with a beautiful gift basket with a card that read, "WELCOME BACK TO THE CROWNE, THE PLACE WHERE LOVE MEETS." Just as we have been impressed with everything we have experienced during our countless stays, we were very touched by this thoughtful gesture. The hotel and its staff are top-notch. Everyone I know who has stayed there concurs.

I had a recent experience of needing to get rooms changed out after purchasing with a 3rd party online who wouldn’t let me cancel with refund or change rooms. I went in to the Crowne Plaza and Ansley D helped me. She was phenomenal and was able to call the 3rd party company, get my refund for the cancellation and get me booked with the room I needed. She was so nice and helpful! I’m so thankful for her and this fantastic experience.

The whole experience was so positive because of Crystal at the front desk! She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She remembered our names and helped us during our son's wedding and always with a smile. She shows she cares and made our stay at the hotel very pleasant.

I absolutely love the staff here, in particular Crystal, Melena, Haley and Joe. But truly, everyone makes us feel so welcome. The beds are comfortable, the breakfast à la carte menu is great (even though this time they didn’t have it as the golf tournament has recently ended so they had not quite gotten back to “normal”).

If there were microwaves in the rooms, that would be awesome!

Number one.....way over priced. Hampton inn is much cheaper and much nicer. No parking. Have to park in garage with an astronomical cost and then have to walk half a block with all your luggage to get back to your car. Too small rooms and carpet was not clean.

The Staff was extremely friendly which we both loved. And vibe downstairs in the lobby and restaurant area was awesome. Very beautiful and inviting.

The first room we were given was just painted 25 minutes before we walked in. The smell was so strong it was nauseating. The room I Booked and paid for was "Executive Level" but because of that we were moved to the 4th Floor to a different room with a not so good veiw. There was no adjustment to what was paid for the inconvenience which I think was not fair to us and I was a little bummed about it.

Way too many young thugs walking around the facilities late at night smoking marijuana. What has happened to this place. Stayed here many times before and let me say wake up staff and owners. You start letting the wrong crowd around your hotel and you will definitely start losing business. Not sure if we will stay again here. Not comfortable coming into the hotel with all the thugs and gang bangers out all around the hotel. Actual had to ask the one of them to move to get back into the hotel door. Told a hotel staff when we checked out and they said they called the police to take care of the issues around the hotel. Obviously not!!! DEI days are over Crown Hotel… I’m shocked at the issues around the hotel with the Masters coming into town. Be alert stay vigilant if you stay here. Definitely watch your back walking back and forth to the parking deck.

Zero service - I left my jacket in the room at checkout, and a couple of hours later, when I was far away from that location, I called them to ask if they could check it out. 24 hours later and 10 attempts calling them, nobody can let me know if they have found it. Manager not available. And by the way, the bathrooms are so dirty. Do not even look at this place

My wife was staying at this hotel alone, and shortly after checking in, she had a very frightening experience that caused her to feel completely unsafe. The same employee who checked her in and personally handed her the room key later went to her room and began banging aggressively on the door. At the time, my wife was in the shower. She called out through the door that she was in the shower and could not open it. Despite this, the employee—James—continued to bang on the door and demanded that she open it to identify herself and provide her ID. This made no sense, as he already knew who she was and had just checked her in moments earlier. He persisted multiple times, insisting she open the door. This behavior terrified my wife. She felt unsafe, vulnerable, and unsure of what to do, especially as a woman alone in the room. I was on the phone with her during the incident and heard everything unfold in real time. Because of how unsafe she felt, my wife made the decision to leave the hotel and check out immediately. No guest—especially a woman staying alone—should ever be made to feel frightened or pressured like this by hotel staff. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will be contacting corporate to report this incident. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable, and no one should ever be made to feel this way while staying at a hotel.

The hotel was under construction so there was limited access to certain things. While I understand upgrades are necessary. Our room had an unpleasant smell. We had to call front desk for several things that were missing from our room such as iron, tissue.

There was dirty rags crusted on top of the curtain in the room. Must have been missed by the cleaners.

Very nice location and we selected it for its proximity to Augusta and the rooftop restaurant. On check in, we were told the rooftop restaurant, although many guests had been asking about it, wasn't open until March (not noted on website). Also, website notes "residential construction" may impact traffic - nothing noted about inside renovations. You do have to walk outside to access first floor restaurant as the lobby is a construction site. Also, parking - which is an extra charge - is across the street in parking structure. Although we booked through a third party, we are ihg rewards members. They had a promotion going on and I was told it was only for IHG members. I dropped off my IHG rewards no. after we had dinner on-site. I was told they'd note my rewards points from the promotion. Checked this weekend and no record of our stay, although, another ihg hotel (also booked through a third party) that we stayed at in another city the following day recorded our stay within in 24 hours. On the plus side - room was clean and relatively quiet and our dinner was very good. Also service for complimentary breakfast was super. Front desk was just okay.

The staff at the Crowne Plaza in North Augusta is exceptional. Crystal starts off the visit with a smooth check-in. She is very helpful and goes out of her way to make the stay special. I will definitely be back.

Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to formally recognize Donald, your Hotel Shuttle Driver, for the extraordinary level of care and professionalism he demonstrated during my recent arrival. Due to severely inaccurate GPS guidance, I was misdirected for over an hour onto unlit backroads in rural Georgia. There were no streetlights, no safe shoulder to pull over, and eventually I lost all forms of communication. During this time, I experienced a frightening encounter with a pickup truck driver that left me genuinely concerned for my personal safety. By the time I was finally able to reestablish contact, trembling and exhausted I pulled into a Jaxby’s, called the hotel as I was more than four hours late checking in and briefly explained the cause of my delay. Rather than limiting his assistance to verbal directions, Donald took decisive action. He drove a company vehicle to my location, found me, and personally guided me safely back to the hotel. His calm demeanor, prompt response, and willingness to go far beyond the expected scope of his role made an immediate and lasting impact. Donald’s actions were not simply helpful — they reflected true leadership, responsibility, and a deep commitment to guest safety. In a situation that could have ended very differently, he ensured I arrived safely and restored my sense of security. That level of dedication deserves recognition. Because of Mr Donald WHENEVER I travel I will ALWAYS stay at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta on Center St. and have informed my family and friends to frequent this hotel during their travels as well. Hopefully they will see my personal hero Mr Donald….AND the room and service were excellent! Please extend my sincere gratitude to Donald. He represents your organization with integrity and professionalism, and I am deeply appreciative of his efforts.

The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and showers are great. Overall, the rooms are excellent. The one thing that would just make it perfect would be microwaves in the rooms. I know you have one downstairs in the lobby area, but having one on the room would be a fantastic addition. The breakfast really is superb, as is the staff in the restaurant. In fact the staff across the hotel - front desk, shuttle drivers, maintenance, housekeeping - all of you are so welcoming, thoughtful and helpful.

The staff was very helpful, attentive, and kind. Also not just my room was very clean, but the all the areas were. Additionally, the location was easy to navigate.

The atmosphere was great, and I was pleased to know that they made accommodations for me when I had to pray. Unfortunately, I was given an alcoholic beverage and was assured that it was non- alcoholic. I would suggest ensuring that all staff knows where and what is alcoholic and non- alcoholic or have a meeting prior to catering an event of this magnitude. Overall, the experience was nice, and the hotel was very clean. Can't wait to experience again!!!

Great experience. The event was lovely. We really enjoyed celebrating Christmas at this venue. The staff was excellent in supporting us.

We had an absolutely wonder Christmas Party at the Crowne Plaza North Augusta Dec. 13th. Staff were incredible, welcoming, warm and I think enjoyed us as much as we did them :) This location is always so wonderful to visit!

We had our company Christmas party at this hotel and they were the absolutely best. We booked the entire hotel for our out of town staff. We didn’t even have to decorate much. The hotel was already fully decorated and gave us a full “Christmasy” feeling. The food was amazing, the staff here were very friendly, helpful, and funny. Security was great and hilarious. All of the bar tenders were very nice. All of the staff at this hotel worked their butts off for the hundreds of people we brought in. They made it look so easy. Everyone enjoyed themselves and were safe. I would give them a 1000/10. Thanks Jessica, Jabal, Crystal, Evette, and the rest of the staff. You guys are the best!!!!!

It’s like coming home and this makes a huge difference when I have to be there for health reasons and go to the hospital every day. The beds are very comfortable, the room spacious (love the little sofa), the water pressure is excellent and the staff and simply the best! All of them.

Please put a few soups on the menu.

5 Stars for our shuttle driver, Donald!!! He was so helpful getting us to a wedding and back. He was fun and truly much better than any other hotel employees. 5 Stars for the Lobby Bar, staff and seating area too!!! 5 Stars for the housekeeping staff, they were so sweet and friendly!!! 3 Stars for the front desk. The first gal we spoke with was clueless and not very helpful. The second lady was very nice, but our experience was sub par when our key didn’t work and then the room was filthy upon checkin. They kept telling us what a big favor they were doing us letting us check in early. It was 2:45. Check in is 3 pm. Once the room debacle was settled, we checked in late. I understand things happen, it was more of the attitude that we received that anything else. And truly it was just the first lady that was so rude. Everyone else was professional.
