Excelente atención, muy cómodo el lugar, todo lo necesario para un buen descanso.

Me gustó mucho la limpieza, orden y decoración del lugar. Se nota el amor que le tienen a este proyecto. Igualmente, me encantó la atención y carisma de las personas que atienden el hostal

El barrio es un poco descuidado, pero pues es ajeno al hostal

I stayed at Hostal Paloha Taganga and had a wonderful experience. It’s a spacious, cozy place with beautiful design and a pleasant atmosphere. Everything is thoughtfully arranged with good taste, and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help. It was so nice to spend time there that I didn’t want to leave.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a nice location near the beach. They helped us to store our luggage while we went to Tayrona park. It was clean and the breakfast was great (extra cost)

All went well but in the dorms the AC worked from the evening until the morning.

Ellie the manager is super friendly, has a lot of very good recommendations and makes you feel at home. The breakfast is awesome especially the bread🤤you got to try it! Facilities are clean, nice hammock area, a kitchen, cool Terasse, even a pool and also AC in all the rooms. Close to all the beaches in Taganga and can highly recommend staying at Hostal Palohe😄

The kitchen was unexpected and very handy, very nice, comfortable, and the roof is nice for a bit of isolation and laundry.

No more toilet paper in the bathroom and not changed !

El hospedaje nos gusto mucho, cuenta con muchos servicios, como con cocina, gym, alberca, terraza, desayuno, entre otros. El colchon estaba un poco duro pero el general noa gusto mucho el lugar. Es importante resaltar la amabilidad del personal y su buen trato! Nos encanto!

Warm and kind personnel that make the stay confy! Also the place is quite near to the public beach. I stayed 5 long nights and I felt like I visited grandma's home.

The staff was very helpful and nice

Nice are to hang out with small refreshing pool and hammocks. Also the communal kitchen is spacous and good equipt, big Fridge.

No drinking water available on site. It felt like you were always watched when using the kitchen - as soon as you left the (main) cleaning lady would come and check. Once she didn't like that I put a jug of water in the fridge - but instead of telling me she came imediately after I left and took it out again.

There were very friendly staff working there, who explained everything we could do whilst staying in Taganga. The hostel was very pretty and clean (it looked much nicer in real life than the pictures), and was very good for the price. Would highly recommend.

The staff and the other people in the hostel were super friendly, it's a very social hostel just outside the Taganga centre (less than 2 minutes and you are in the centre).

At night, it is usually quiet, but it could also get a bit loud depending on if there is a party in the bar close to the hostel. But it's way quieter than any other hostel in the Taganga centre!

First room claustrophobic, second night better room, but still small. They don't prepare breakfast.

Installations are ok good. Pool is very small.

I’m traveling solo and had a date the night I was staying there. In booking.com it’s the same price for 1 or 2 people. Reception wanted to charged me +50% of what I had paid for having a guest in my room at night but the room is for 2 people, that’s why I had a private in first place. Nothing justify this, very unprofessional.

Very clean and well located hostel. Nice common area to relax. Quiet at night time and certainly to Colombian standards. Very kind and English speaking manager,sweet night guard. Airconditioning works perfectly. The rooms are spacious enough and are daily cleaned. No bugs in the room. A great choice in Taganga for a fair price.

Beds are ok. Not great, but still much better than an average bed in Colombia in this price range.

The hostel is run by really nice people, everyone very helpful. It has a nice kitchen and chill out area.

The city of Taganga is a bit boring, only one street with a few restaurants. The roads are in bad condition. Taxi from Santa Marta is pretty expensive.

The staff are friendly and really try to assist with anything you need. There are lots of common areas to use. The wifi is strong and stable. The optional breakfast is convenient.

The pool wasn’t the cleanest. It would be nice to have a shower head rather than just a pipe.

Everything was amazing! Everyone was super friendly, kind and helpful, made us feel very welcomed :) The location is great, the facilities are great - outside hammocks, a swimming pool, kitchen, clean toilets and bathrooms. Everything was very clean! They will even let us keep our luggage at the hostel while we'll be travelling around for a few days. They gave us a lot of information to organise our next trip and helped arrange activities in Taganga! They have an AC, you can also do laundry there - 20k for 4kg. A great place with great people!

Very Nice people; the hostal is very comfortable and there are many places to chill, and enjoy the swimming pool. we really felt like at home and have met very nice people we became friends with. Plus, the location is very good, next to the beach and it is very safe too. One of my best experience in a hostal ! i recommend 100% !

Amazing staff. Great location. Close to all Taganga attractions but far enough removed for a peaceful night's sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed my quick stay here and would absolutely do it again.

I liked everything!

Such a lovely chilled out hostel with a large socialising area and outdoor kitchen. There's even a small pool and an upper terrace for more relaxing, yoga or training. The staff are super friendly and Guiliano has incredible knowledge of the local area and of Colombia in general. He gives some great tips on tourist activities. Really helpful. The location is great. Few minutes walk to shops, restaurants, bar and beach. The rooms are cleaned everyday as are the common areas so it's always very clean. We loved our stay.

Paper thin walls, you could haer someone in the room beside you or outside clear as a bell. Pool was tiny and murky, no way I would get in it.

The host is a very sweet man who knows his guests. The hostel is clean and cosy, there are multiple options to sit outside. I liked it very much!

The property was very clean and super nice! There were chill areas. The manager/owner was really nice offered help when it was needed to book a taxi or boat to the beaches.

I absolutely loved my stay here. There's a lot of common space, from the rooftop, the pool, the shaded area with the hammocks, the large kitchen and dining area to the couches. Juliano is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful and so is Emil who works at night. I stayed in a 4-bed dorm room which was rather small, but very clean and had A/C at night.

My mattress was sagging.

The staff were so friendly and kind! They helped me with so many things and helped arrange day tours. Juliano and Eme were the staff I spoke to the most, but everyone is nice. I even met the owner who was visiting to celebrate the end of the year with staff! The social areas, pool and hammack area are pretty and serene. I liked the option to use the kitchen, the free coffee, laundry service and rooftop area which was handy for hang drying my swimsuit.

Not a big deal, but it is on a dirt road (in the flat area and still a perfect location). Nothing is more than a short walk away. There is a neighbor who plays music loudly and late. Bring ear plugs. Still, I loved this hostel.

Quiet at night xD

Hostel only had 2-3 other guests who weren't very social. So moved to another livelier one. Receptionist was not very positive on arrival, complaining about a few things.

it was very clean, the kitchen has almost every thing you need. the hammocks are great to chill

there was a group of people that were very noisy at night, so was difficult to sleep and even relax. But other than that everything was fine

There is a huge chilling area outside, swimming pool, hammocks, big kitchen and even a terrace. The staff was really helpful and polite. It's a very safe place, 24hours reception and the dorms are comfortable each one has his one bathroom and not a lot of beds in the same room.

Giuliano is really helpful and super friendly, he made me feel at home. Also Ennie who does the night shift is a really nice and caring guy. I like also that you get a towel and they would make your bed even in the dorm. The dorms have air conditioning and you can set the temperature yourself. Great location for diving. Hammock area and pool are great. I stayed over a week in that place and also came back :)

I don't like the mattress protection, since it is quite noisy every time you turn a bit, what is not so good in a dorm and it is not so nice to sleep on. The door is squeeky. Some of the lockers could be checked since they are a bit hard to handle.

it is my second time staying in this little hostal, the first time was almost one year ago and it was amazing, now I was so happy to see the familiar faces of the stafff and it was super nice to be back! well done to all of you!

Juliano was a super Host, he gave me a lot of infos about the surroundings, what to do and arranged a meeting with a scuba diving instructor. Rooms are small but comfortable with washroom big kitchen, swimming pool, 2mi. walk from the bus stop to/from Santa Marta

the man running it and the night guard were both so nice. the kitchen is big and clean, the outside hammock area is nice and it’s just a couple minutes to the dive shops and central areas

dorm room is very small and lockers don’t fit a whole backpack but as long as everyone stays organized it’s manageable

Super nice staff but I wouldn’t recommend to go to the hostel neither to the city!

We stayed for three nights in a private room. Private room with en-suite was a good size and air con worked well.The hostel was well looked after and the staff were really helpful. The bed was not that comfortable and made a really loud noise with even the smallest movement. The place was being cleaned constantly, the only thing was that there was a stain on the sheets. Great location only five minutes walk to everything.
