Total freundliche Menschen, die dieses Hotel betreiben. Das Zimmer war so gut wie angegeben, Parkplätze sind genügend vorhanden. Perfekt ist das Restaurant bzw. die Bar im Untergeschoss, man muss sich also nicht auf die Suche nach einem Restaurant für das. Abendessen machen. Das Essen, auch das Frühstück, war super.

Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were enjoyable and full of flavour.

Easy check in ,comfortable room ,good en suite with a brilliant shower. Good nights sleep.No nonsense menus with great food promptly served . Very pleasant atmosphere ( superb choice of background music!) Recommended!

Lovely Pub and Guest House in a great location. Food was very good and there was a nice choice of Real Ales. Team at Usk and Railway were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend and revisit.

Apart from the odd bit of traffic. Nice quiet location. Historic area, pretty hills, and a lovely river, (if you walk down the road). Bar, restaurant, outdoor seating. Parking.

Just that it didn’t have a shaving socket.

Een leuk, gezellig en goed hotel, met ruime slaapkamer en badkamer. Goed restaurant met bar. Goed ontbijt a la carte. Hotel ligt langs een doorgaande weg (op zich wel praktisch) maar met het raam dicht geen lawaai van straat. Mogelijkheid tot privé parkeren achter het hotel.

Verduistering van slaapkamer is matig.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich wohl. Super ist auch das Restaurant, das dazugehört. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut.

The included breakfast was really nice and tasty. The staff were very welcoming and always had a smile. All of our requests were fulfilled almost immediately during our stay and we honestly have no complaints. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Waren mit 4 Motorrädern unterwegs. Kostenloser Parkplatz im Hof vorhanden. Zimmer sind geräumig und funktional. Personal sehr höflich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Abendessen und Frühstück sehr zufriedenstellend. Gemütlicher Speiseraum / Bar mit ordentlich Auswahl. Hat gepasst!

Stayed here to do the brecon beacons hike. Had dinner in the bar which was great, nice cask ale too. Breakfast was great, cereal, nice fresh coffee, yoghurt, cooked full breakfast and all the trimmings. Parking free in the car park. Room was spacious, comfy and quiet. Staff/owners very friendly. Can't fault it.

We had the loveliest stay at The Usk & Railway Inn and honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us, and our dog, feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. It’s so refreshing to stay somewhere genuinely dog friendly rather than just “dog accepting”! The rooms were absolutely spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed comfortable, cosy and perfectly maintained. The food was exceptional throughout our stay, genuinely some of the best pub food we’ve had in a long time. Everything was freshly cooked, generous and absolutely delicious. A perfect base for exploring the Brecon Beacons and somewhere we would happily return to again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!

Staff super friendly. Food delicious. Great location. We felt really looked after especially as a member of our party has a dairy allergy there knowledge of the menu was second to none and that party member was able to have a starter a mains and a pudding as well as a banging breakfast. Rooms really comfortable and spacious and the showers were amazing.

Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit einem großen und bequemen Bett. Das Frühstück wird nach Wunsch zubereitet und war sehr gut! Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben abends im hauseigenen Pub gegessen, der absolut zu empfehlen ist.

宾馆从交通角度来说很方便，出门就是车站，如果是自驾真的会体验感更好 床很舒服而且房间整体都非常干净和图片一致 房东夫妻非常好，礼貌且厨艺不错，早餐和晚餐都很棒 餐厅环境布置的很温馨，色调给人感觉很舒适 有贴心的饼干、茶以及咖啡帮你扫除疲惫

就两位老夫妻和服务的女士来说，照顾房客的旅行日常已经做的非常好了，因为房子处于主干道旁，所以车辆经过比较吵，因为天热的原因我整晚都是开着窗户睡觉，所以声音很清晰，但是这没有办法解决 当地的公交车有运营问题我却无法得知（作为外国游客），导致我两次等候却没有车，因此这是我感觉不好的地方，这与房东没有关系，我的意思是这里很好更适合自驾游客前往

Very clean recently decorated room, well appointed and with a comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was very good with a good selection on the menu. Quite busy on the Saturday evening, so I would recommend booking a table. Staff were really helpful throughout the stay.

The breakfast was good, freshly prepared if a hot breakfast was desired.

Perhaps more fresh fruit.

This is a lovely little hotel that's much better than it appears online. Rooms were super clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was far better than we expected - simple and tasty main courses and desserts, nicely cooked. There's nothing fancy here, but for a small hotel at the side of a main road we loved it. (Booking says my "very good" rating is only an 8, but the Usk and Railway is better than others I've stayed in that have been rated over 9.)

Shower was only ok, but not the worst on our trip. Seems a bit churlish to complain.

My husband and I checked in for a 2 night stay 6-8 April 2026. The whole place is beautiful. It is spotlessly clean, welcoming and extremely comfortable with fabulous food at reasonable prices. The welcome we got was fantastic 😀

Extremely friendly owners, Linda went out of her way to make sure everything was right for us.

The host met me and showed me to my room: very comfortable and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and an en-suite shower room. I had a very good evening meal which was exactly what I ordered. I slept well in the comfortable bed. In the morning, I had breakfast which I had pre-ordered on arrival. The premises are cosy and welcoming. There is ample car parking, including a car park to the rear of the property. I felt that the host was welcoming and helpful, and I knew that I could contact her at any point during my stay, which was very reassuring.

I would not find fault with this accommodation at all.

We were greeted warmly by the owners and even on a Sunday evening had the most delicious meal. The pub had a lovely welcoming feeling about it and it was warm and cosy. Breakfast was really good and overall we were extremely pleased with our stay. The bedroom had all you could need and everything was really clean. We would have no hesitation staying there again if we returned to that area, Thank you very much.

Left each morning before breakfast so nice to be offered a takeaway sausage sandwich, thank you. Got a couple of evening walks and pre-warned about possibility of closed restaurant if quiet but other options not required as lovely and busy.

Lovely little hotel with great food. So handy for Breacon Beacons. Staff were lovely and so helpful.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and lots of choice.

The carpet was pretty old and wrinkled The shower was good but a little tired with holes and a bracket where a soap dispenser used to be. The sink had a crack in it which was just unsightly not leaking.

It was a quaint little inn, I liked the decor Decent shower…

The outside main road outside was noisy

My husband and I had a really lovely stay at the Usk & Railway Inn, from the friendly greeting at check in, the clean, good sized and comfortable room, with a good complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits, and toiletries, to the superb evening meal (a fantastic Sunday roast), we had a wonderful nights sleep. It was finished off by a hearty cooked breakfast, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both, you’re great hosts.
