Q5 Hotel Busan Songdo

The hotel is conveniently located near the beach, with many cafes around. The cable car and a nice observatory are also just a short walk away. The staff was friendly and helpful. Towels, water, and bed linen were replaced daily, which we appreciated. However, the hotel itself feels a bit old. There was a non-working shower cabin in the bathroom for some reason, and the jacuzzi tub was rusty and not very pleasant to use.

Staff was kind. Free coffee downstairs. View to bay was nice and like expected. Cleaning service daily. Bed was confortable.

This is not a hotel, but a Motel turned into "hotel". So except a motel-like decoration, some "kitsch". Furniture was a little bit old, and with some strange things like an old computer without monitor (?) and a hairbrush that we obviously don't use. The bathroom has a frosted glass door, so forget about any kind of privacy if you are on the toilet seat. The cleaning was poor, there was a hair in the sink and there was dust on several objects. The price was cheap but there are minimum hygiene and comfort requirements that must be met. Also the area looks nice on map that it actually was, in fact is near the sea but outdoors looks a little bit empty and lack of nightlife

Location, view, amenities in the room

Close to public transport and easy to get a taxi as you are at the beach front. Great place we loved it, every day was a blast, many, many restaurants to choose your food. Ocean walk and cable cars within a 100m walk. Close to fish market and one of the main food streets. Hope to return next year. Don’t forget the massage chair it was great after all the walking along the beach.

We loved everything

Needed some renovation Smells old...

The hotel's location was great.

There was no hot water during my stay!

Location is good.

It could be more clear inside

Location at attractions places View from the window

Old looking rooms and furniture Needs renovation

Everything was as expected. Clean, smooth check-in, free toiletries. Specific room: The bed was big and comfortable, bath was huge and had water jets, and I had a big massage chair that was heaven.

The location is great if you need to be in that area of town. But if you want to discover the entire city, it is quite far away and busses aren't exactly fast to go through a busy city. Ideal for a few days trip. Perfect for local area. Gamcheon, busan air cruise, amnam Park etc are all relatively close. Trainstation also isn't that far away. Fully recommend though!

Location is great. Near the beach and i enjoyed the environment. The staff was polite and helpful. Room was clean and bathroom have huge bath. Bed was comfortable.

Bath towel need to be bigger

Location

The massage chair and giant tub were great! The view of the beach was very nice, although the window was fairly small. The bed was big and comfortable. The coffee machine worked. The receptionist helped book a taxi for me and was very helpful. There are lots of restaurants around and the beach is just steps away.

There was no real bath towel, only several hand sized towels. Also, there needs to be more electrical outlets near the bed. They provided chargers, but nowhere to plug in anything else.

Great location, amazing view from rooms. Local area had good choice of restaurants. Free parking, good wifi, and room had all needed facilities.

Everything as expected, and advertised. No complaints at all

Ok

Ok

The location by the beach

Sheets were dirty (stains and hair on them) and had ask for them to be changed. Toilet had very bad sewerage smell coming from it.

This was my fourth of fifth time staying in this hotel. Everything is excellent, so that's why I always choose this hotel when I want to come to Songdo Beach.

Location to Songdo Beach was good. Room had two beds which was hard to find at other places.

Location to main areas was far and hard to get to.

Location 📍

It looks old 🧑🏽‍🦯

The view out over Songdo beach was exactly as pictured from our rooms. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and went the extra mile to solve any issues we encountered. Bed was a little firmer than we were used to however was more than adequate. Rooms are well insulated and outside noise disappears entirely with windows closed. Room was bigger than typical accommodation we encountered on our travels which was greatly appreciated. Air conditioner worked extremely well in both rooms which was a welcome relief on some extremely hot and humid days during our stay. There are plenty of eateries and small supermarkets within short walking distance however this is a seaside holiday destination so they are generally more commercial and tourist focused (read $$$) and not reflective of local food and prices found elsewhere during our travels. Location was great with easy access to public transport and taxis. There are plenty of first rate tourist activities nearby and great walking tracks to some amazing locations. Access to the Air Cruise is nearby.

Listing indicates a refrigerator however at best it holds only a very small number of things and is only a few litres in capacity. There was very limited space to hang clothes however probably okay for a short overnight or 2 day stay (not the week we spent there) The first room we stayed in had a massage chair and spa bath however the spa bath was broken. Staff moved us up a floor to a room with functioning spa with no massage chair (disappointing however the extra space was really good). Both rooms had old PC's with a monitor, keyboard and mice on the desk however these didn't work and took up space that could have been used for something else like a wardrobe or storage cupboard. The bathrooms were very clean up to head height however up higher the tiles were dust covered/dirty. Having said that the cleaning staff did a great job each day refreshing the rooms and general clean.

I loved the location

Housekeeping just walking in.

Price, location, staff, cleanliness

Outlets to charge electronic devices. Only one.

Amazing locations. Completely clean and big room

I like all things

Spacious room and bathroom with a large tub. Comforted floor.

No full size bath towels.

Amazing location. Songdo beach is not overcrowded like Haeundae which is fantastic. I’d definitely recommend the cable cars that are right by the hotel. Large bath (not intended for bathing normally, it’s jacuzzi size) robes provided

This is a love motel. You are handed a package containing c*nd*ms when you check in, and in the room there is l*be and a c*ck r*ng. Yes, really. If this is your kind of thing then go for it, but I booked this for a girls trip with my friend. Super awkward! The signs at the hotel say “Q5 MOTEL” not hotel.

The location is in front of the Songdo beach; the rooms were spacious and had a great view of the beach.

Main problem: false advertisement! Info on the policies section in booking.com says children are welcome but the property is actually a Motel and not a hotel and we were traveling with a child. There's even c*nd*ms in the bag that they give when you check-in. It was also inconvenient to walk to the place from the bus stop if you have suitcases - it is about 10min walk and need to go down on a narrow side walk. Since we were 5, it was difficult to get a taxi for all of us. There's not a lot of options to eat out that has an English menu. The receptionist had difficulty communicating in English and the chat prior to our arrival was not transparent - it turned out that the rooms with a massage chair are Smoking rooms so it was pointless to book this option if you don't want smoking rooms. The room we stayed in also has broken plugs that are exposed which is hazardous.

Clean room and good location to Songdo beach.

Lights - no option for nigh light or when you walk in. Long waiting for warm water.

Close to the beach, great views, and some nice goodies upon checkin

Room smelled a bit of smoke

Staff were nice, check in is easy, place in front of beach

this hotel is in the perfect location for food and beaches. the hotel itself is older in style but totally cool and funky. the owners were very helpful and allowed us to use their laundry free of charge.

the aircon was a bit noisy and perhaps not as effective as some

Amazing location - so close to the beach and cable car. The room was spatious. There was a parking spot available in the garage. At the reception desk there was a coffee machine available for the guests.

In genral it was good value for money I've paid. I did not like that there was a mirror instead of curtains and the window in general was small.

The location

Difficulties of speaking English with the staff

Very nice and beautiful place, next to the beach 🥰🥰🥰

View from window 🪟 on to the see 🥰🥰🥰
