Super Lage mitten im Herzen von Burgdorf. Wir konnten die Bikes im Keller deponieren. Aufgestellter Service!

Cuisine extraordinaire et chambre avec beaucoup de charme. Le personnel est attentif et très sympathique. L’hôtel est très bien situé au centre de la vieille ville. Un lieu à ne pas louper lors d’une visite à Burgdorf.

Great location in Burgdorf downtown, friendly staff, quiet rooms

Breakfast was ok

Perfekt gelegen in der Altstadt, Parkplätze sind vor dem Hotel kostenlos vorhanden.

Vom Frühstück sind wir nicht begeistert. Wir kamen gegen 9:15 Uhr im Frühstücksraum an; bis 10:00 Uhr sollte Frühstück angeboten werden. Man hatte nicht mit uns gerechnet, es gab etwa fünf leere Tische, auf denen noch benutzte Teller und Tassen standen. Für uns wurde dann ein Tisch abgeräumt und neu gedeckt. Zwar wurden Käse, Aufschnitt, Marmelade und verschiedene Joghurts gebracht, aber es gab kein Brot mehr, nur noch ein paar Krusten. Es wurden dann ein paar Croissants aufgebacken. Die Flaschen mit den Säften waren leer, diese wurden auf Nachfrage wieder aufgefüllt. Gekochte Eier gab es nicht mehr und uns wurde kein Omelett oder Rührei angeboten. Von einem Vier-Sterne-Hotel hätten wir ein besseres Frühstück erwartet! Auf jeden Fall mit Brot.

Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité de la salle. La qualité des produits locaux proposés.

Nous sommes un peu déçu par le peu de choix proposé. Ce n'est pas un buffet, plutôt une proposition restreinte. Même si on peut redemander des produits, nous n'aimons pas ce sentiment.

Für mit der Bahn anzureisen ist die Lage Ideal. Und der Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Personal sehr freundlich wir haben uns wohl gefühlt

Veraltete Zimmer mit Spannteppich und Antikbadewanne auf Füssen (Rein- und Rausklettern nur für grosse sportliche Menschen geeignet).

Sehr gepflegtes, stilvolles Hotel. Trotz Altstadt-Lage einfach erreichbar mit Parkplätzen gleich vor dem Haus. Geschmackvoll eingerichtete, ruhige Zimmer. Freundlicher Empfang. Auch das Restaurant im Haus ist zu empfehlen.

Ils pourraient faire un effort pour diminuer les emballages au déjeuner en proposant des confitures/beurre/yoghurt ouvert sur une table commune.

We love this hotel. A beautiful building. The suites are beautifully renovated. Mostly we love the location in the old town.

We arrived after 5pm. The navi sent us to the hotel via a route that did not allow access to the old town. The area becomes pedestrian only. We found help eventually with a local guiding us with her own vehicle. I wish the hotel would have reached out to tell us the alternate route. .

L’emplacement et la taille de la chambre

Le prix, il faisait froid dans la chambre et le minuscule écran de télévision, pas de vrai local pour vélo 3 marches pour y accéder.

Ein sehr schönes, stilvolles Hotel in der Mitte von Burgdorf. Man fühlte sich um 100 Jahre zurückversetzt was ein ganz spezielles Flair verlieh. Ausgesprochen freundliches Personal und auch das Abendessen war sehr gut. Das Frühstück war gut. Jetzt nicht irgendwie aussergewöhnlich aber mit allem, was ich mir wünschte. Wer gerne auch mal abseits der grossen Tourizentren wie Bern, Luzern, etc. ein etwas spezielleres Kleinstadthopping machen will, der ist generell in Burgdorf und speziell in diesem Hotel sehr gut bedient.

Good place to stay, clean and quiet, with the exception of the church bell ringing every hour, but I didn't mind. Here again I must say what most people have said, and that is the comfort of their pillows and mattresses needs to be better.

Es war alles tip top > schönes und sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett, die Dienstleistung an der Rezeption, so wie auch die Bedienung beim Frühstück, alle sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Classic long-established hotel in the center of old town Burgdorf. Friendly staff and conveniently located.

Don’t judge too harshly for the lack of air conditioning - in such historic buildings, getting permits is extremely difficult. Everything is arranged to the highest standard, and breakfast is excellent - served in a restaurant that once held a Michelin star. + There are so many lovely little touches, like complimentary drinks in the fridge. The town itself is charming and full of history. And you’ll be staying just 300 meters from the inner courtyard of Burgdorf Castle, where you can watch the sunset. Highly recommended!

Service impeccable. I almost felt like I was being welcomed home. Better to stay here in this lovely hotel and fairytale like village than in Bern!

Coffee was good and fresh but could be even better if they had a better machine...

Bit of a quirky bedroom design but very spacious and clean and a lovely standalone bathtub. Staff were very helpful and the evening dinner food was also very good.

The Building and the rooms are really really nice. You can feel the historic athmosphere. Also the staff was very friendly.

The Kitchen says it has an Award. Therefore we had some expectations regarding the breakfast: Unfortunately the expectations were not fulfilled. The staff was really nice but the Concept with etagere is just ourdated and the amount was just way too Little for two persons. Please, rather do a nice buffet!

Woken up one night with noises above ceiling - plumbing? No apologies from staff on checkout. Disappointing.

I’ve been coming to the Stadthaus for roughly 20 years and have always found it an exceptional location and building. I have always been well taken care of and have enjoyed every stay. It’s a beautiful area and a peaceful place to enjoy yourself. The food is always good and the service exceptional.

You can’t do anything about the church bells that ring in the middle of the night- wear ear plugs!

Spacious room, and very clean.

Rooms were superb with many included amenities. Free parking on the street was limited but a nice perk. Just a few steps from the bus stop and very walkable in the old-town of Burgdorf. Will definitely return!

The Hotel is located on the edge of the old town, quiet location with nice view to the city (from my room). I have checked in the evening and the reception seem to be waiting for me. Simple and easy check in and a friendly staff member greeted me. In the room a hand written and signed welcome note and fresh fruits were prepared for me, very nice touch. The hotel accommodated my wish for a high floor level room with nice view. The breakfest was fresh and well presented with high quality and local ingrediencies every morning. The room was spacious elegantly designed exactly how it was reflected on the pictures. The extra care and attention to the details and service is noticeable throughout.

The hotel is very central and in a beautiful historical building. We stayed in a very spacious room, furniture is simple but elegant. The bathroom (also spacious) had a lovely big vintage look bathtube and a shower cabin. The breakfast is served at the table and it is freshly prepared.

We did not watch it but the TV is quite small, and so is the shower cabin, especially if compared to the size of the bathroom.

It’s a beautiful house in the middle of the old part of town. The rooms are spacious, the beds big and comfy, the bathroom modern and large. Staff was very friendly, breakfast great.

No staff Sunday in attendance on afternoons; room seems to have been prepared for one guest rather than two.
