Il luogo in cui si soggiorna è molto carino, in mezzo ad una piccola foresta. Salendo sul promontorio si ha una vista su tutta Rovaniemi e lungo il piccolo tragitto (5 minuti a piedi) si incontrano anche gli scoiattoli

Lo staff è stato molto gentile e disponibile ma purtroppo la stanza non ha finestre che si possono aprire e la temperatura non è regolabile dalla stanza ma bisogna scrivere un messaggio o chiamare la reception per farsi aumentare o diminuire i gradi. Bisogna poi attendere una buona oretta prima che si riesca ad avere la temperatura richiesta. Molto scomodi e poco appropriato per un 5 stelle. Rapporto prezzo/qualità non equilibrato

Devoir demander à la réception pour régler la température de la chambre avec la réaction du chauffage/climatisation de plusieurs heures, impossible d'ouvrir une fenêtre pour rafraîchir la chambre chauffée par le soleil toute la journée, au contraire salle de bain froide et impossible à chauffer, bref: en 2026 et même si tout est soi-disant optimisé, il n'est pas normal de subir ce genre de désagrément dans un hôtel de cette catégorie ! Un thermostat manuel dans une chambre reste la solution la plus simple et fonctionnelle.

The location was very beautiful but far from the center. It’s good if you want to be in a resort and with me need to go somewhere else

In summer time the Spa is closed and the restaurant works only in the morning and evening. No option for lunch

The staff were very hospitable, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast was great and the view was amazing.

The hotel was amazing, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service. Out of all the hotels I stayed at during this trip, this one had by far the best staff—everyone was incredibly attentive and helpful. They offer a car service that takes you back and forth to the restaurant, and it was always quick and convenient. I also loved that they had a WhatsApp number you could message for anything you needed—they responded almost immediately every time. The included breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and dinner at the restaurant was just as impressive. The location is also great, just a short drive from Santa Claus Village. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.

One thing to note is that the stunning, nature-only view shown in the photos is available in just a handful of rooms, so it’s not guaranteed by default. Most rooms have views of other parts of the hotel or nearby rooms. If having that full, unobstructed nature view is important to you, it’s best to request it in advance. If available, the hotel can provide it for an additional charge. I did this, and although my initial room still had a partially obstructed view, I mentioned that I had specifically requested a full nature view. The staff quickly accommodated me and moved me to another room. Once again, the service throughout the stay was truly amazing.

The sauna took a long time before it was heated. There was no small makeup mirror in the bathroom.

No me resolvieron el problema de internet a pesar que vinieron dos veces. Estaba en una cabaña apartado de la recepción y restaurante . Estuvimos incomunicados todo el tiempo.

Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. We had dinner at Restaurant Rakas twice and the food was excellent. Personnel were very professional. Good experience!

Personnel give the "must to have" information about the property. No much information was given neither about activities to make at the hotel nor outside. The price/quality standard was not in line. We could see the parking slot and a busy road from our nest. It was a surprise that the property was so close to a busy road, and it was not advertised anywhere. Big disappointment!

My husband and I had a magical time here. The view from our room was stunning, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really tasty. The staff were really helpful! We really enjoyed walking through the private forest and experiencing the cold weather and deep snow for the first time-it was very special. We also liked our snowshoe adventure.

Die Lage, die Nähe zur Natur und man kann selbst bei -22 Grad ohne Probleme zu Santa‘s Village spazieren in 20-30 Minuten. Das Personal war ausserordentlich zuvorkommend und unglaublich freundlich. Das Frühstück kann einen ohne Probleme bis zum Abendessen füllen in Auswahl und Menge die verfügbar ist. Die Unterkunft ist wundervoll, sauber und fantastisch eingerichtet und unterhalten.

Breakfast was lovely, great location for Santa Park, airport and other activities! Reception and door staff are friendly and helpful. Activities booked through the hotel are well organised and very enjoyable!

Management staff at the onside restaurant are very rude and unapologetic. Every single lunch and dinner they forgot drinks and main meals from the order. We did not eat one meal as a family at the same time, waiting up to 20/30 minuets for missing courses. Any additional item you asked for like bread you had to ask for twice and would come after you’ve finished your main meal - not what you expect for £40 a course. There was only ever between 2-4 tables occupied whilst we were in the restaurant so I honestly don’t know how it could go so wrong every single day. This was also the same for all tables around us. This really reduced the overall enjoyment of the holiday as in-between activities long dinners are really the only thing you can do unless you want to pay £60 on a taxi to take you somewhere else. Rooms were cleaned at random times, one night at 7:00pm when we were trying to put our son to bed. Rooms are very small, and very small bathroom.

The rooms were beautifully appointed! And the food in their Raka restaurant was superb.

The experiences offered/arranged by the hotel didn’t meet expectations and were disappointing.

Systemic Failure: Discriminatory Service, Security Risks & Substandard Conditions at a Premium Price My experience at your front desk on the night of December 12th was not simply poor service—it was a prolonged, unprovoked, and unpleasant interaction that felt racially charged. From the outset, I encountered consistent disdain, refusal, and exaggerated negativity from two staff members, suggesting a permissive culture of discrimination rather than isolated “bad moods.” When faced with polite requests, they acted in unison with contempt, a choice your management must own. 1. Charger Inquiry: I politely asked if a lost power bank had been turned in. The female staff immediately responded with a loud, theatrical exclamation and a dismissive facial expression. She refused to answer directly, forcing repeated clarification, then ended with a sharp “No.” The tone was patronizing and obstructive. 2. Shuttle Booking: When requesting the complimentary shuttle for my 11 AM checkout, the male staff refused in-person processing, insisting I “send a WhatsApp message.” He feigned surprise about standard checkout times, attempting to frame my reasonable request as unreasonable. 3. Unsafe Financial Practices: During check-in, staff requested my credit card PIN for pre-authorization—highly irregular and unsafe, violating standard European hotel protocol. 4. Substandard Accommodation: The room was cramped and overpriced, with inconsistent water temperature and insufficient heating. As a “Treehouse,” it offered zero privacy, with constant foot traffic outside the windows. Mechanical noises disrupted sleep further. 5. Heating & Temperature Dispute: requested a warmer room the first night; the staff claimed adjustment but asked me to “wait and see.” The next night, after returning from viewing the aurora, my door was fully closed (only unlocked) with no draft.

A vista do quarto é bem bonita e aconchegante. O hotel é bem localizado e oferece confortáveis acomodações.

O hotel tem zero flexibidade quanto às necessidades dos hóspedes. Não fazem nenhum ajuste por mínimo que seja. Não conte com eles pra nenhuma ajuda ou gentileza extra. Você é só mais um cliente! O box do chuveiro não é muito prático.

We stayed three nights and the menu didn’t have any changes throughout. Given there isn’t much choice around and most of the choice isn’t very nice the hotel had better food but they could have had a daily special with some variety. The soups weren’t very nice they didn’t taste or anything. There is no spa facility like hot tub and sauna. Not much to do in the property unless you are out on excursions.

Todo en general. El emplazamiento, la habitación con todas sus comodidades y detalles. Las vistas desde la habitación inigualables. La calidad en cada uno de los rincones del hotel. La excelente atención por parte del personal de recepción, restaurante… en definitiva, un acierto total.

Por decir un punto de mejora, aumentaría la variedad de productos carta restaurante. Con toques sencillos como una tabla de queso, jamón o lomo le da otro toque y genera más variedad.

The room itself was spectacular! The view was incredible. I do recommend booking a room with a garden view so you don’t look out onto another hut. Restaurant was great and the waiters showed they really cared about service!

1) The facilities were sub par. • Excursions are extremely over priced (use get your guide or local travel companies and pay 1/3 of the price) • €200+ for a massage is astronomical, especially when paying a considerable amount for just the room 2) Warnings of fines - as soon as we arrived we were warned of the fines that would be incurred if we lost our key for example (€45) - it just started the stay on a negative note and reduced the ‘luxury’ of the hotel 3) Breakfast is very average

This place was so cool! Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the northern lights because of cloudy weather the entire time we were there BUT it was still fun. We walked the path over to Santa’s Village and enjoyed a day of festivities. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was great!
