I had a one night stay here on a Monday. I had an important meeting in Dublin the next morning and I didn’t get any sleep before 3am . There was a lot of external noise that ear plugs couldn’t salvage . The hotel was full and I couldn’t get a different room. I acknowledge the noise was beyond the hotel’s control, there are bars across the road. However the rooms have no sound proofing and the high ratings do not reflect a deeply disappointing experience.

Vše ohledně tohoto hotelu bylo perfektní! Krásný design, super-milý personál, nejlepší anglická, pardon, irská snídaně ever, navíc s krásným výhledem. Integrovaná kavárna a retro-kino. Daleko lepší komfort než u dražších hotelů v centru.

El ambiente del bar y terraza, y el barrio es muy tranquilo, seguro y tiene muchos restaurantes cerca. Habitaciones equipadas con electrodomésticos básicos (plancha, secador de primera marca -Dyson-...) e incluso una bolsa de aseo. La decoración también es muy bonita.

Está algo lejos del centro, y las habitaciones son pequeñas. En mi caso, una habitación doble de solo 12m2. El principal problema es que no cuenta con armario en este tipo de habitación (desconozco si las hay de mayor tamaño, pero el armario me parece un básico).

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolut begeistert – wunderschönes Hotel! Wir waren wirklich rundum begeistert! Schon beim Ankommen haben wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – wirklich alles ist wunderschön und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und gepflegt und die Betten einfach der Wahnsinn – selten haben wir in einem Hotel so bequem geschlafen! 😍 Auch das Personal war durchweg super freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit, sodass man sich wirklich willkommen fühlt. Für uns hat hier einfach alles gepasst: wunderschönes Ambiente, Sauberkeit, Komfort und ein tolles Team. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Etwas hellhörig, wenn andere Gäste etwas lauter sind! Aber war völlig in Ordnung

Güvenlik konusunda çok iyiydi. Oda kapısını açık bırakmışız geldiğimizde her şey yerinde duruyordu. Ayrıca 11 numaralı merkeze giden otobüs durağı 2 dakika mesafedeydi.

Gece uyku vakti dışarıdan çok fazla sohbet sesi geldi. Sabah dokuzda bangır bangır müzik sesleri geldi. Veya gece artık uyuyacagiz müzik sesi ile uykuya dalmakta zorlandık.

Piękna okolica, bardzo przyjazny personel, design. W okolicy puby, kawiarnie, sklepy, dobra komunikacja.

Hałas, za oknem i bardzo ciężkie drzwi zamykające się z hukiem o każdej porze dnia i nocy Na dłuższy pobyt uciążliwy - za mały pokój, brak miejsca na ubrania i bagaż, łóżko krótkie, we wnęce. Wysoki depozyt.

Things worth knowing: if you have breakfast included, it means you have a 25 euro credit per person. Anything above that will be charged to your room. I am mentioning that because we were only told when presented with the final invoice. The Devlin is a modern 3-story building that includes a movie theater in the basement, a bar/lounge on the ground floor, two floors of hotel bedrooms, and a rooftop restaurant. It is a popular venue in the neighborhood and has lots of people coming in for coffee, meetings, dinner or movies. We liked that it was lively and really enjoyed the breakfast either in the lounge area or the rooftop on weekends (fantastic views on Dublin and the mountains west of the city). Rooms are stylish. The neighborhood is great with many small shops and restaurants, and a short tramway ride to the center from the Ranelagh tramway station up the main street.

We had one of the bigger rooms and it was small. The hotel can be noisy some nights when there are events.

Good location with parking

Very loud noise in room 119 .all night .staff came to the room but were unable to fix the problem or offer us a different room as the hotel was full did not get any sleep ..I spoke to management in the morning .their solution was to charge us 50& of the room rate .

Location, decor, comfort.

Staff were friendly, room was reasonably priced. Felt like a brand new hotel.

It’s a nice looking hotel with good breakfast in a nice location.

The room we were allocated was incredibly hot as the air conditioning didn’t work and the window only opened a crack. I asked to move rooms to one where they air conditioning didn’t worked, which they did. Unfortunately the aircon didn’t work on that one either and we were so uncomfortable all night that we barely slept. The second room also smelt of drains. After our first night I complained to management about the excessive heat and broken aircon and they sent someone to fix it. Thankfully it worked and despite the drain smell, we had a comfortable second night. The staff were apologetic and gave us a refund on our breakfast as compensation. I wouldn’t go back in hot weather!

For 500euro for the night it was very small. Very hot with no air con, too noisy to open the window and bathroom wasn't properly cleaned

Great location in Ranelagh village. Nice bar with a good vibe.

The bedrooms are tiny for the price. Looking a bit tired, particularly the bathrooms - noticeably stained grouting and shower trims didn’t look clean. Didn’t like the tea and coffee offering in the rooms (instant coffee). Also not good sound proofing.

The hotel in general is very nice lovely restaurant on top floor

La chambre vraiment trop petite. Pas de possibilité de se déplacer à plusieurs dans la chambre. Pour 3 personnes pour un séjour de plusieurs jours, pas de place pour ranger les valises, pas d'armoire pour ranger les vêtements. Dans la salle de bain, pas de verre, de mouchoirs en papier, pas assez de crochets pour serviette pour le nombre d'occupants.

The property was nice to walk into and had an old time feel.

Extrem freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer war klein (was klar war), aber gut ausgestattet, schick und gemütlich. Fußläufig sind jede Menge Pubs, Restaurants und Supermärkte erreichbar. Auch das Parken hat gut funktioniert. Am Eingang kann man Kaffee, Croissants und Co kaufen - prima für den Start zu einem Ausflug, zum Beispiel mit dem Bus direkt in die Stadtmitte.

Ein paar zusätzliche Ablagen sowie stabile Haken im Bad wären hilfreich.

De ontbijt grenola was verrukkelijk. De rooftopbar ook erg mooi.

De douchekraan kamer 119 was lastig te bedienen. De spiegel werd echt heet en is denk ik bedoeld als verwarming. Ik vond dat niet super plezierig.

Gut temperierte und belüftete Zimmer. Fön, Wasserkocher und sogar eine Wärmflasche waren in einem Fach verstaut.

Frühstück a la carte, wir hätten Buffet bevorzugt. Zimmer sehr klein und es gab keinen Schrank.

It was clean, it had some advantages to be in an hotel having the ground floor as a bar (also some disadvantages)

The room is very, very, very, very small. More than I would imagine. It's not possible to stay in the room for anything else than sleeping. Also, the door connecting the elevator and the corridor would often be slamming and make quite some noise.

It was convenient and pleasant.

The bathroom floor was dirty which we discovered when put a towel on it to mop up the leak from the shower.

De buurt is echt super leuk met veel pubs, restaurants en een tram vlakbij.

De kamer was zeer klein.

20 minut pěšky od centra v klidne ctvrti, v blizkosti supermarket i utulne restaurace, moderni hotel, pokoje male ale na prespani plne dostacujici. Vyhodou lednicka a rychlovarna konvice.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were absolutely lovely — warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The restaurant on the top floor was a real highlight. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed it so much that after our first visit, we decided to book a table there again for the following evening. Overall, a fantastic experience, with wonderful staff, great food, and excellent service. We would happily stay here again!

The rooms are quite small, and there is very limited storage space. There was no proper wardrobe or enough space to hang clothes, which made it difficult to unpack and keep things organised during mý stay.

Maggiore comunicazione e chiarezza sulla disponibilità e condizioni del parcheggio, per chi viaggia con una autovettura. Colazione troppo cara, che non tiene conto delle diverse esigenze dei clienti e della loro provenienza. A pochi passi c'è scelta per poter fare colazione.

The hotel is really very beautiful with a well-thought-out design, creating a very pleasant atmosphere.

the room is extremely small; it is hard for three people to stand at the same time. I would suggest a few extra touches, such as more hooks, especially in the bathroom, and some additional shelves to place belongings. The staff is polite and friendly. That said, for a 4-star hotel, I am quite surprised that my security deposit has not yet been refunded, despite having sent an email asking for clarification which went unanswered.

The hotel is located in a really beautiful part of Ranelagh, Dublin 6. Very close to the Luas line, some exceedingly great coffee shops and bakeries (shout out to the Una bakery), and a Tesco express which is super handy to pick up a few last bits. Loved the retro-modern style of the room. The bed was big and very comfortable. We found the hotel very quiet with no street or bar noise.

The bedroom was immensely hot. There was air-conditioning which we had programmed to the lowest setting, but it didn't work. In this hot and humid summer, it made for a restless sleep. Their dinner service only starts at 5pm which was a shame as it looked like a lovely location to have lunch on the rooftop terrace. Although parking is facilitated, it 5mins walk down the road and are charged at €20 a night. Spaces are limited and parking cannot be guaranteed.

First time to stay and it was a pretty last minute booking, however we were very presently surprised! We ate in the restaurant the first night of our stay and it was exceptional! As was the breakfast the following morning Overall the staff were so friendly and accommodating and we would love to stay again!

The only down side was the parking as it's limited and allocated on a first come first served basis The alternative is on street parking which has to be renewed every 3 hours between the hours of 7am and 7pm

The location was superb. The restaurant on the roof was amazing. The food and service was exceptional, I can't rate it high enough. Top class. Rooms are quirky but fun. Definitely go back

Room was tiny. Showers was leaking. Car parking not available when I rang on morning of check in.

Trotz geringer Zimmergröße, war alles einschl. Wasserkocher vorhanden. Das Bad war komplett.

Das Bett war nur von einer Seite zugänglich, der im hinteren Teil Schlafende musste über den im vorderen Teil Schlafenden klettern. Außer dem Bett gab es noch eine Sitzgelegenheit (Hocker)

Great location for what we needed. Had a lovely meal and coffee the next morning. Room was small but perfect for what we needed for one night for a concert. Staff were lovely and friendly at reception and in the restaurant. Got our room earlier than expected.

The room was very warm, and there was a really noisy unit outside the window so we couldn’t open the window at night. There was cleaners hoovering outside the room at 8.30am which was very annoying but we do understand it has to be done.
