I love that we were upgraded and assigned to the upper room. The views were incredible. This is exactly the place you need to recharge. It's very homey. At first, I was concerned with the way to get to the property but the road is all concrete, easy to reach. The family room is spacious, so is the bathroom. The stairs to the room is a bit steep, not recommended for senior people or those with knee issues. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was enough. It was a wonderful, I'd love to go back.

Pochissima attenzione, piscina sporca, personale lento e molto disattento, formicai in camera e AC rumorosissima. Posto completamente difforme dalla realtà. Buono se sei un influencer che deve stare due ore e fare delle foto. Ma se stai di più assolutamente sopravvalutato. Pagato molto meno per posti decisamente migliori!

El desayuno es muy justito. Hay muy poca variedad. El personal del check in un poco seco. Nos querían cobrar demasiado por el traslado al aeropuerto y por la moto. Por la moto en concreto nos pedían el doble de lo que pagamos al alquilarla por nuestra cuenta. Y el traslado al aeropuerto parecido. Respecto a la situación, está a unos 15 min del pueblo montaña arriba. Eso hace que, a veces, sea incómodo. Pero la ventaja son las vistas preciosas.

La vieillesse des chambres

Ottima vista sull’isola e sul mare (si vede anche la white island) e atmosfera bella tra piscina, ristorante e piante. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile a ogni richiesta. La struttura è ben mantenuta e le camere vengono pulite bene ogni giorno.

La colazione era buona ma non c’era tanta scelta. Le camere sono un po vecchie e costruite un po alla buona (come quasi ogni struttura nell’isola) con buchi nel legno e insetti che entrano, ma nulla di troppo fastidioso.

Lack of hot water, tiny cramped rooms, no space to store luggage so you have to put it wherever you can on the floor and jump over it to get to your bed, no night table, no place to dry wet swimsuits or towels even if there was enough space for it on the terrace or bathroom.

Hotel en espacio espectacular, con vistas increibles, y espacio exterior increible. Perfecto para desconectar y descansar. Alquiler de moto allí mismo que lo facilita.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and courteous staff. They made the check-in process smooth and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and beautiful views of the mountains. The staff's are helpful and genuine care for guests made a lasting impression especially daphne, malou, edna and kuya chito. We left grateful for such wonderful hospitality. We cant wait for our next vacation we will surely comeback here!

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this mountain resort. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and beautiful views made it the perfect place to unwind and escape from the busy city. Ms. Ed, Daphne, Malou and Remon were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout our stay. They always greeted us with a smile and were quick to assist with any requests, making us feel welcome and comfortable. The property is well-maintained, clean, and offers a serene atmosphere that is ideal for rest and relaxation. We highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with excellent hospitality. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Internet and electricity are unstable, but understandable since you're in a remote island.

Our stay at Bintana sa Paraiso Binunsaran in Camiguin was unfortunately disappointing, mainly because of how poorly certain issues were handled by management and front desk staff. First, the road leading to the property from the main road is extremely narrow, something that was never mentioned anywhere in the listing or in any communication from the hotel. We traveled in a van after a very long drive from the south of Mindanao, and getting to the property was stressful and difficult. Whenever another vehicle or even pedestrians came from the opposite direction, there was practically no space to move aside, leaving one party to back up along the narrow road. This is something guests, especially families or groups traveling in larger vehicles, should absolutely be informed about beforehand. The bigger issue, however, was the mix-up with our family room booking. The booking description clearly indicated that the room included a pool, but when we arrived, we were assigned a family room without one. When I raised the concern, one of the front desk staff was dismissive and insisted that I had booked the room without a pool. Even after I showed the exact description from Booking.com, the staff member simply reread the description back to me in a condescending way, as if I was the one misunderstanding the situation. After traveling for hours and looking forward to finally relaxing, it was incredibly frustrating to deal with this kind of issue upon arrival. We were eventually transferred to a family room with a pool after they explained that the correct room had already been reserved for another guest the following day. However, when those guests arrived and were assigned the room above us without a pool, they kept giving us uncomfortable looks, clearly upset about the situation. I don’t know what the staff told them, but it genuinely felt like instead of properly owning up to the mistake, the hotel allowed the situation to become awkward between guests.

I booked this place for my last few days in Camiguin, deciding it'd be the best place to relax after exploring the island. It's on a secluded location surrounded by nature. I love the jungle vibe! Wifi was the fastest I've experienced in the area. Amenities were unique and aesthetic. We had all our meals in the in-house restaurant which were quite affordable unlike other touristy joints. Food quality was superb and service was quick too. The staff was amazing and were all lovely people! They were incredibly pleasant to interact with and genuinely cared about our well-being. Our stay wouldn't have been so fun if it weren't for the staff. View from our balcony was stunning. The room was neat and decorated nicely. Bathroom had strong water pressure. It would be nice to have more cabinets in the room to keep clothes in and some shelves in the bathroom for toiletries.

I would've loved to give a 10/10 rating but there are just some things that are hard to ignore. I really wanted a peaceful getaway but there was just so much noise... like a literal metal grinder that started around late morning because of construction work. Kitchen staff chatting so loudly at 6AM which we can hear at the back of our villa. Our first night was uncomfortably warm due to a power outage that lasted until morning. Even though the evening breeze was chilly, we couldn't really leave the doors open due to insects coming in, so guests are fully reliant on AC or fan for cooling. The rest of our stay had no power disruptions. Neighbours seem to be burning trash or making a bonfire that made the air smell like smoke and even made my eyes burn a little. I hope they are able to improve since I really want to go back in the future.

It’s so good to be back here! There are new faces since my last visit, but the service is still consistently excellent—and they truly go above and beyond. Being welcomed by smiling faces right when you arrive already sets the tone for an amazing stay. The gong experience is such a special touch, and I was lucky the weather cooperated during my visit. The stars here are unreal—nothing like what you see in the city. I’m already excited for my next Camiguin adventure and to experience new things and new rooms here at Bintana.

Sheets were washed (as they should be) but remnants of hair and stains were present on both beds in our guesthouse Guesthouses had space between walls which meant lizards and cats could enter, when they moved around you’d hear it inside and around the room Included breakfast is limited

Great location and the views, the balconies are facing the white island. The staff is always friendly and ready to help, reasonable prices for food and drinks in the restaurant.

Although the bathrooms are spacious, the sink is too small, maybe it’s a good idea to install bigger sinks so guests could store all their toiletries. Same goes for the room, a small shelf or a cabinet for the clothes would be just great.

Brown outso no power for Aircon Sometimes no water and air trapped in pipes that made loud noise. It's a long distance from anything. Building work from 8:30am No mobile data signal just so you know. No fridge in room. Room door very frustrating to lock took ages get it closed. Electric power weak. Long time to charge phone. Room not made up after sign hung on door.

Le cadre de l’hôtel, joliment décoré et aménagé. La gentillesse du personnel, qui font tout que vous vous sentiez à l’aise. Les repas étaient plutôt bons.

Le gros point négatif, non négligeable est l’Humidité. En effet l’hôtel est situé en plein cœur de la montagne et donc là où toutes les précipitations de l’île tombent. Malgré la climatisation et le ventilateur, il faisait très humide dans la chambre et les habits ne parviennent pas à sécher. Je pense que des travaux de rénovation et d’aménagement des chambres ( mise aux normes pour la climatisation, insonorisation, ventilation) pour correspondre à un standing international serait une bonne chose. Idem pour la salle de bain qui est un peu vétuste et très humide (papier toilette mouillé) . J’avais la chambre du dessous et de part la mauvaise isolation j’entendais les bruits de bas des clients du dessous. C’était assez désagréable. Autre petite remarque, la connexion wifi était capricieuse est pas disponible dans les chambres (aucune connexion internet possible dans les alentours).

El entorno de este hotel es ESPECTACULAR. La zona de la piscina y zonas comunes tienen muchísimo encanto. Amanecer rodeados de montana y mar es impresionante. Personal muy amable.

A las habitaciones les falta mucho mantenimiento. Tienen el encanto de casita de madera pero necesitan varios arreglos y detalles.

No. Tenian un problema de acceso al alojamiento que nos informaron el día antes. Al llegar nos dimos cuenta que era inviable acceder por el medio del monte al alojamiento (más aún de noche) y decidimos buscar otro alojamiento tras la primera noche. Acordaron devolvernos el dinero de las noches restantes e incluso se tramitó el reembolso vía booking pero llevamos más de 2 meses y aún no hemos recibido el reembolso y han dejado de contestar.

El acceso, la calidad de las instalaciones en las habitaciones…

Het uitzicht vanaf de accommodatie was prachtig. Houd er wel rekening mee dat het een bergroute naar de accommodatie toe is. De meeste restaurants zijn zeker 20 minuten rijden. Je moet je er comfortabel bij voelen dit in het donker te doen. De medewerkers waren allemaal vriendelijk!

De hygiëne en netheid viel mij tegen. Alles zag er oud en toch wel een beetje vies uit. Ook na het schoonmaken zag het er niet fris uit. Hierin kunnen de kamers echt wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Wij hadden ontbijt bij de overnachting zitten. Er is vanuit het restaurant een hele kaart met keuzes voor ontbijt gerechten. Maar als je ontbijt bij je overnachting hebt zitten mag je nog maar uit 5 gerechten kiezen (die overigens niet op de normale kaart staan). Als Europeaan was de ontbijt keuze vrij minimaal. Huur je scooter niet bij het hotel! Ze vragen 600 pesos per dag, wat echt heel hoog is. In het stadje zijn goede opties voor scooter huur die maar 300 pesos per dag vragen. Dit is een flink verschil.

Sobretodo el personal, super amable y pendiente de todo lo que necesitas. Desayuno estaba bien, aunque podría ser más variado. Las vistas son preciosas y la piscina también. Tienen billar y juegos para que puedas quedarte también en el resort un rato. Tienen bar y restaurante casi todo el día abierto y te ofrecen llevarte el desayuno a la habitación, que es un detalle. También tienen moto rental, y nos lo dejaron a buen precio.

Nuestra habitación era un poco pequeña, aunque creemos que hay más grandes. Al estar en medio de la montaña, había bastantes insectos aunque se puede estar tranquilo y el personal está siempre disponible para ayudarte. La ubicación hay que tener en cuenta que está en medio de la montaña, por lo que si quieres estar rodeado de restaurantes y servicios no es el sitio adecuado.

The location is amazing, right in mountain side. The food was good as well, served breakfast per request on time. The room is not amazing but good enough, pretty small but good for what we wanted. It has a nice balcony to chill. The pool is really nice as well. You can choose to have dinner at nice spots at the hotel for more privacy and romantic feeling.

Les bungalows sont dans un état très moyen. Le rapport qualité prix n’est pas au rendez-vous. Nous étions sur l’île pendant des périodes de pluie, il pleuvait dans la salle de bain. L’électricité était en permanence, coupée et le générateur de secours faisait un bruit terrible. les draps étaient tachés et même déchirés, même s’ils sentaient le propre. Enfin on nous a volé 240€ en cash dans la chambre d’hôtel. Nous avons alerté le personnel de cela, mais aucune sanction n’a été pris ni l’argent remboursé . On nous a seulement indiqué qu’une enquête avait été menée mais n’avait pas aboutie. C’est le seul hôtel de notre voyage de 5 semaines où l’expérience s’est avérée catastrophique.

La llegada tenías que aparcar lejos y andar bastante hasta la entrada, ya que no permitían dejar las motos en la entrada directamente. La habitación estaba bastante descuidada, el baño tenía unas goteras gigantes y se inundaba en cuanto llovía y cuando te duchabas. Una de las noches llovió mucho y el techo parecía que se iba a caer. Nos cancelaron el ferry por mal tiempo y nos cobraron la noche sin tener derecho a devolución. Nos dieron una carta diferente a los desayunos que nos entraban con nuestra reserva y al final de la estancia nos querían cobrar extras por los desayunos que ellos mismos nos habían dado.

We were a party of 16 people with 6 kids ages 15 and down. The staff is very, very accommodating and very nice. I am very grateful for that. Also the food is very delicious. Between the staff and the food, those are the resorts' best strength. Now, the reason for my 4 stars for the room is pretty much because the things that could have been done to just keep a better maintenance would add up to the experience. The water shower heater keeps dying, maybe because the place itself probably can't handle too many people at one time. The resort only has 10 rooms. We took about 5 on our stay. Maybe the owners or management can try and fix that, especially if they want to have more people going there. The rooms are also very small, really perfect for just 2 people, two tiny people to be comfortable. Also, the bathroom is too big and could have been cut down to give more room for the bedroom itself. Also, the main dining room can benefit from a few ceiling fans for the bugs and mosquitoes. But other than that, we had a wonderful stay at Bintana. Thank you to all the people there who took great care of us.

Undeniable that the view is beautiful - in fact it’s what got me to book, they got me. The staff were friendly and frankly that’s about all I have to report.

I wish the view was enough to over look the sewer smelling bathroom or the brown out lasting 30 minutes before having to ask if they’ll start the generator only to have to wait another 10 (which in the end only powered lights and power points). Safe to say it got hot quick (for the night) as there were no fly mesh on any windows to allow any sort of draft without letting bugs in. This along with having to walk 5 minutes from where you park and waiting 30 minutes for a single serve garden salad to be prepared - unfortunately brought us to the conclusion that we stayed two nights too long. We ended up leaving early before the third night of events had the chance to begin. I hope they can make some improvements because as I stated, the view is lovely. However, you could also drive and look at the view and then go stay in a much more relaxing resort. Camiguin is beautiful, staying on the island somewhere is the right choice.

V accommodating however the location is a bit challenging specially if you don’t have a service and if you return late at night because you will need to walk like 5-7mins. And it’s VERY VERY DARK. Altho you can request a staff to make sugat at you in the highway

Sometimes the air conditioning stopped working but the staff always fixed it right away. It’s a little bit off-grid so renting a motorbike is recommended. But that wasn’t any problem.

Magical!!!! It is to describe this amazing hotel. Absolutely loved everything about it. The beautiful view was breathtaking, the sound of nature. The staff was lovely and helpful in every way. I’ve visited Bintana Sa Paraiso Binunsaran before, but coming back this time with friends made it even better! The resort has added some fantastic new activities that made our stay even more fun and memorable. In addition to the usual outdoor adventures by nature we got to enjoy the new additions like a small billiard table, which provided hours of friendly competition. We also loved the addition of a sungka set and more Scrabble areas—perfect for some light-hearted games and laughs in between our outdoor activities. It was great to see the resort continuously improving and offering more ways to unwind and bond with friends. Nice and new renovated hotel rooms. Beautiful view when the sky is clear. Breakfast was really good, you can choose between 3 options. Cleaned the room everyday.

I recently had a quick visit in Camiguin and i stayed at Bintana Sa Paraiso Mountain Resort, and it was nothing short of a dream. The moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by the breathtaking views of lush greenery. The resort's location is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and escape the busy city life. The mountain air was so refreshing, and the cool breeze added to the peaceful atmosphere. Whether you're lounging by the pool, or enjoying a quiet moment at your balcony. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. I also enjoyed the delicious local food served in the resort's restaurant (Josh & Luke Restaurant)– a wonderful taste of Camiguin’s flavors. The entire experience was so relaxing, I found myself wishing I could just move here permanently. In short, my visit was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and I absolutely can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway or a place to recharge, this mountain resort in Camiguin is definitely worth a visit. I can already imagine making it my home one day!

The gong session itself was incredibly relaxing – the deep, resonant sounds when you arrive, creating an atmosphere of calm that enveloped me from the very first note. It was the perfect way to clear my mind and reset, and I left feeling completely at peace. In addition to the gong experience, the resort itself is an oasis of serenity. The peaceful surroundings, combined with exceptional service and the tranquil ambiance, made for a getaway that was both relaxing and soul-soothing. The Starlink internet was an added bonus, allowing me to stay connected while still being able to disconnect from the stresses of daily life while working.
