The staff name Thala is quite rude and lacks professionalism, and the property itself is quite old, not up to the standards of Sayaji Effotel. However, the food is good.

I have stayed effotel Vadodara recently,stay was excellent, specially front office stff & kalaghoda restaurant staff was very helpful,& supportive. I recommend everyone to visit that property

Had a great stay at this property. The rooms were clean and the staff was very polite. The highlight was the morning breakfast buffet. The spread was very nice on both days and the entire restaurant staff was very polite and cooperative. Special mention to Tushar who made live dosas and omelettes. Very good service and would choose this property again.

The hotel staff were noisy outside the room, despite booking a King bed room I was given a room with twin beds pushed together.

Location average. Room window opens at back with no appreciable view I asked early checkin. It was neither replied nor honoured. One guest who reached early was forced to move to another hotel for fleshing up. So paid extra amount. Extra bed was meaning only mattress on floor. So sad for such hotel

We stayed at Effotel Hotel Vadodara on the 29th and 30th of November 2025. The hotel is clean, well-maintained, and has a pleasant ambience. Our room (602) was neatly arranged and very comfortable. The staff—both at the reception and in housekeeping—were polite, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. We had breakfast once during our visit, and the spread was delicious with plenty of variety. In the dining area, Rekha Singh was especially attentive and helpful. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

Insulting experience with your sales staff! I had a call with Hotel Effotel by Sayaji, and the person named Sameel Patel received it. To begin with, he displayed zero hospitality or basic customer service skills. When answering a business call, the minimum courtesy is to say, "Hello, this is Effotel Sayaji. How can I help you?" — but he didn’t even attempt this. It seems your management has not trained him on basic communication at all. When I asked if this was Hotel Effotel, he curtly replied, “S.” I enquired about a 5-day occupancy for 2 guests, and he quoted ₹3500 + taxes. When I asked if there was any corporate or long-stay discount, since I was even willing to extend my stay, his response was shockingly rude. He said, “Sastewala rate nahi hai. We sell at higher rates,” and even added, “Room nahi hai.” This is an unacceptable attitude toward a customer. If your staff treats genuine enquiries like this, it is no surprise if your hotel suffers — customers do not tolerate arrogance and disrespect.

It was a best experience, excellent services and Anil Negi housekeeping department has given us excellent service and also the pool and room internal services were very excellent

I stayed in Effotel for the first time and the experience was good

My wife and I recently traveled from Pune to Baroda and arrived quite exhausted due to heavy traffic. Upon arrival, we were eager to have dinner before proceeding with the check-in process. At the reception, however, the staff insisted on immediately collecting ID proofs for both of us, despite my request to complete the check-in after dinner. While I fully understand and respect the need for ID verification, the approach felt unnecessarily rigid. I had not refused to provide the IDs—only requested a short delay until after dinner—but the staff member became argumentative and even referenced how foreigners comply with the policy, which seemed irrelevant in the context. I would have rated an 8 to this property but due to this experience, I am rating it 7 This interaction created a frustrating first impression after a long journey. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the guest experience in the future.

I enjoyed my stay at Effotel. This is the second time I stayed here and my experience at both times was excellent. It's a very neat and clean hotel. Mr Samvil Patel was very helpful and was always ready to solve problems if some guests faced. He never seemed to get irritated or disgusted with any guest which I had noticed in some hotels. Food here is excellent though I personally found it very spicy and hot but most of the people really enjoyed it. Regarding this particular problem, I feel there should be a better provision for those who because of either health or dietary problem can't eat hot and spicy food. That would be a plus point for the hotel. Mr Chetan and Ms Charu at the reception desk too were co-operative. No matter how tired they must have been standing almost the whole day yet they always welcomed their guests with a smile. The kitchen, housekeeping etc staff was always very helpful. I thank each one of the entire staff members for making my stay so very enjoyable and comfortable. My special thanks to Mr Samvil Patel.

Hello Everyone 🤗, Recently visited this Hotel, Absolutely perfect for your stay if you are visiting to Vadodara, Hotel is very close to Railway Station and even to Highway, so there is no issues with the navigation. There is enormous parking facility available, Hotel is well equipped with all the latest amenities and facilities. Staff is polite Specially Front desk staff Mr.Ganesh and on the toe for your service.
