Oshovia Hostel

Estuve calentita durante toda la estadía. Soy muy friolenta y tenía miedo de q fuera pasar frío en el alojamiento. Los días que quede tenían mínima de 0 y max de 5. No tuve problemas cuanto al frío, la habitación tiene el piso calentito, las duchas también bastante buenas y calentitas. En las habitaciones cada cama cuenta con cortina y luz independiente, que ayuda en la privacidad y a no molestar mucho con la luz si uno quiere estar viendo algo en el celu. La cocina me pareció bien equipada, el desayuno es simple, pero bastante bien. Siempre hay tocando una música tranqui ambiente en el área común. Fueron amables en dejarme hacer el check in temprano e instalarme. La chica que me recibió parecía tener el español no tan bueno, pero se esforzaba en explicar bien el funcionamiento y presentar el hostel. :)

No me di muy bien con la almohada de la cama, parecía ser muy baja y dura al mismo tiempo.

Lindo lugar, buena atención, es siempre calentito, siempre hay agua caliente, en los cuartos tu espacio personal es perfecto. Lo re recomiendo.

Nuestra reserva tenía incluido la calefacción y no la encendieron hasta que les dejamos que estábamos pasando frío!

El personal fue muy amable y el lugar me pareció muy acogedor.

Very nice hostel with breakfast. Also plenty of chill common areas and cute garden. Also (quick) laundry :) A bit outside the center but nice food options closeby.

Showering makes the floor a bit wet, but you brought flip flops anyways, right ;) (and a bit tight so I dried outside it) Staff can be busy at times so reception not always occupied, but nothing too bad Mattress a bit sunk but got extra pillow :) Only real bad point was that the socket was a bit too small for my adapter :( I chilled more in the common space at night as a result (So for me honestly rather an 8 but for most others - that are maybe smaller/lighter and have other adapter^^ - a 9 could be more appropriate I think?)

Loved the breakfast (the best dulce de leche spread ever!), place is kept clean, and there’s a lot of dining and lounging space.

It would be nice if the curtains around the female dorm beds also included a curtain between the two upper bunks right next to each other (was a little awkward lol)

En las fechas en las q yo estuve estuvimos descompuestos varios huéspedes de diferentes habitaciones... Me dió la sensación de q no tienen mucho control xq a mí me asignaron una cama y era otra y la ropa de cama q me dieron le tuve q pedir q me la cambien xq estaba sucia... Había q bajar un piso de la habitación para ir al baño

Breakfast (8:00-10:00) and large Lobby. Modern facility, Bed with Curtain for privacy, and Large locker. Patio where you can do Asado (BBQ) and park your bicycle. Receptionist who speak English was very helpful.

- relativ viel los - ich hatte leider das kleinste Zimmer, dort haben die Leute direkt vor meinem Bett ihre Sachen gepackt (weil die Schließfächer dort waren), ich konnte teilweise nicht aus dem Bett aussteigen - relativ weit weg vom Zentrum

Le Petit déjeuner était très bien fourni. Le personnel très gentil et très réactif.

Los espacios comunes son cómodos y agradables, aunque la limpieza y almacenaje de la cocina podrían mejorar. La atención es buena y con disposición a ayudar.

Está bastante alejado, a 30-40 miniutos caminando del centro turístico de la ciudad y el puerto. Los baños compartidos me parecieron bastante descuidados e incómodos, están viejos y no hay ningún espacio para dejar la ropa o vestirse.

Ame que tenga cortinas, para darle más privacidad al viajero. Los espacios están calefaccionados con losa radiante, eso le da un plus de confort. Lo que mas ame fue el ambiente en general. Todos fueron muy amables, desde el personal hasta los mismos huéspedes. Oshovia es como una gran casa en la que todos son bienvenidos para contar historias y hacer nuevos amigos. Fue mi primera vez en un hostel y me la pase de maravilla; si vuelvo a ushuaia, seguramente volveré a oshovia.

podrian mejorar un poco la parte de las duchas, tuve una mini batalla con una regadera -jaja- nada preocupante solo por mejorar algo. pero el resto super bien!

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed. Thank you for hosting! Very cozy and the staff was understanding when my flight to Ushuaia got cancelled 2 times and they had no issue with changing my reservation dates last minute. Also good recommendations for hikes and very good size kitchen. There’s a cheap supermarket nearby.

The only problem downside is the location, but there’s a bus ‘A’ going to the center every 15minutes so it was okay in the end. Also, had a fight with one of the shower heads in the ladies bathroom (which probably should be fixed) as the water was going everywhere.

Fijn ontvangst, we waren voor check-in tijd en konden onze rugzakken al achterlaten op de kamer. In de ochtend is er lekker ontbijt met cereal, toast, verse jam en verse pastries. Fijne gezamenlijke ruimte beneden met een gezellige sfeer. Aardig personeel!

Enige wat ik kan bedenken is dat het wat verder van het centrum af ligt. Waarschijnlijk geen probleem als je dit gebied bezoekt en al van wandelen/ hiken houdt, maar goed om rekening mee te houden.

TIenen desayuno incluido muy completo, las habitaciones y sobre todo que cada cama tiene sus cortinas que dan cierta privacidad a la hora de dormir y los baños compartidos muy bien, generalmente limpios y nunca tenes que esperar para ducharte o demas. Las areas comunes tambien son muy comodas

Very spacious dormitory, with curtains for privacy.Marcus the receptionist is the hidden gem .Very polite, accommodating and a true polyglot speaking 3 or 4 languages fluently.

A little bit away from the centre but local buses can be used

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy and the wifi worked quite well! The showers were hot and the common spaces were clean, spacious and welcoming.

The breakfast was very sweet-centric and could have benefited from some protein and a non-sugary option. Not much privacy in the bathrooms, and it was quite annoying that they were on a different floor to our room.

The bunks had curtains so they felt very private. The hostel had a homely feel to it.

Betten sehr durchgelegen und sehr verbesserbedürftige Santäranlagen: Duschen sehr klein sodass man trockene Sachen außerhalb lagern musste und somit keine Privatsphäre hatte // 2 von 4 Duschen außer Betrieb // Abfluss der Duschen verstopft // häufig fehlendes Toilettenpapiern (nur 1 von 5 Kabinen hatte Papier) // Kabinen sehr eng sodass wir und beide regelmäßig an der Tür hochziehen mussten um aufstehen zu können

Esto es algo que escapa al Hostel, pero lo que no me gustó es que en la habitación había muchísimo olor a transpiración

A very nice hostel. Clean environment, rooms, showers and kitchen. Very social. Equipped kitchen. Always has hot water in the shower.

Notice that the house rule includ not cooking until 11 in the morning.

Con decir una cosa buena me quedo corta.La experiencia fue muy buena. La cocina completísima. Todo limpio, podía caminar descalza me sentía como en mi casa. Primera vez q me pasa eso con la limpieza en un hostal viajando hace 11 años. Después muy acogedor todo teniendo en cuenta que afuera hace frío, la decoración la chimenea encendida etc invita a estar tranquilo, cómodo, tomarse un té. Muy buena la idea de rompecabezas, aunque no tuve tiempo de armar, excusa para volver . la ducha que sale con mucha presión y agua caliente funciona perfecto. La habitación excelente la limpieza. La mujer encargada de la limpieza muy buena onda, una joya ella muy carismática y trabajadora. Los desayunos riquísimos y bien variados me encantó todo lo que incluía. La loza radiante del piso de la habitación 10/10. La ubicación si bien es lejos del centro a mí me gustó eso porque es más tranquilo, para que el que busca tranquilidad y conocer más el barrio y no solo el centro es genial! Y el súpermercado a cien metros genial. Gracias por dejar mi mochila una vez hecho el check out , me salvaron y pude ir a recorrer un poco más de su bello Ushuaia. Ya recomendé a amistades y espero volver alguna vez.

Lo único inconveniente es que mi litera era arriba y habia una parte que no tenía cortina, que daba con la cama de al lado, que tampoco tenía cortina. La chica de la cama de al lado refunfuñaba y me dijo que apague la luz. Yo siempre me quedo leyendo hasta las 12 o 1 de la madrugada. Y justo ese día era mi cumpleaños!! Yo no hacía ruido ni mandaba audio, solo quería tener mi luz individual prendida, leer, responder mensajes. La apague para que la chica se tranquilizara. Sentí que hubiese estado bueno tener esa pedacito de cortina que separe la cama de al lado y poder leer hasta la madrugada si así lo quisiese sin que me rete otra chica.

Nice hostel managed by an Asian family. Loads of storage, private curtains on each bed, and a very nice shared area in the ground floor. Also, free breakfast

It is a very well maintained property. Worked well for an overnight stay in a private room. Bathroom is shared though.

Os quartos estavam muito aquecidos, poderia ser levemente menos quente pois mesmo para mim que sou brasileiro fiquei com muito calor, fora isso as acomodações são excelentes

Superschoon (toen we aankwamen rook alles limoentjesfris en geen spatje modder ondanks de vele vieze bergschoenen die dagelijks het gebouw binnenlopen), heel rustig (ook de gasten spraken maar weinig met elkaar), goed onderhouden, fijne gemeenschappelijke keuken.

Weinig communicatieve eigenaren/medewerkers. Je kon vragen stellen of verzoekjes doen via Whatsapp, maar die werd maar matig opgevolgd. Locatie is goed tov het NP maar kent enige afstand (ca 2 km) tot de centrale winkelstraat. Wat ons verder enigszins stoorde waren de vele briefjes met regels en waarschuwingen die overal in het gebouw hingen. Blijkbaar is dit nodig om aso’s in de pas te laten lopen, maar gaf ons het gevoel van wantrouwen. Verder een heel fijn verblijf gehad!

L'ostello è davvero carino, pulito e accogliente, le camere sono abbastanza spaziose e ogni letto ha la sua tendina per garantire un pò di privacy.

Very good Beds with curtains, comfortable rooms with lockers, clean bathroom, best hostel kitchen ever. Super social hostel and great to get in contact with other people.

30 min Walk to the City Center, quite far from everything. But didn’t matter that much, uber is always available.

Great hostel, very clean and cozy, very thoughtfully designed and aesthetic. Love the common areas. Kitchen is great, bathroom is stall style and everything is kept very clean.

They are very strict about closing the kitchen/common area at 11 PM. Breakfast is decent, mostly carbs. Sheets were really thin and kept coming off the bed for me. A little far from the center.

誹謗中傷はしたくないので評価は3としますが、起きた事を書かせてもらいます！ 「マジで最悪だった2日間。」 2日滞在して2日とも下のベッドの中国人の中年男性のイビキがうるさ過ぎて夜全然眠れなかった。 夜に寝れないので、昼間の誰のいない時に仮眠する事になり観光にも行けず、ウシュアイアは旅のゴールでどんな気持ちになるか楽しみでしたが、寝れない環境でしんどくなって悲しくなりました。。 また明記はしませんが、2日目の深夜にイビキで寝れずにベッドで過ごしていたら深夜3時頃、ホステルとして一発アウトの事象を見て、返金処理して頂きました。 いびきはドミを予約しているのでこちらの責任ですが、この事象は衛生管理を怠ったホステル側の過失です。 (万が一返金処理がされなければ、全て記載します。) ここのスタッフも日本のつまらない接客を真似てるのかと思うくらい業務的で、他のホステルに泊まって南米のフレンドリーさ勉強して来い！と思いました。(ここは某アジアの方、のされてる宿です。) 「Hola」から始まる南米のフレンドリーさは一切なく、Booking.comの評価「9.1」は、どういう風についた？と疑問でしかないです。 返金後すぐに別のホステルに来ましたが、清潔でスタッフも僕が着てたボカのユニフォームをイジってくる感じでやっぱり南米はコレだよなと感じました。

El poco aislamiento del sonido en las piezas. Se escucha el pasillo durante la noche. Al llegar habia filtración de agua en la pieza, que cedió al no llover Lavado de loza deberia ser por parte del hotel

Creo que es el mejor hostel de Ushuaia. Es muy lindo y tiene una atmosfera tranquila, agradable. Esta increíblemente limpio y cuidado. Los dueños son super amables, y todo el tiempo estuvieron predispuestos a ayudar. Gracias!! Saludos Melany de BA

La limpieza del lugar y el orden, todo muy bien organizado. La calidad de la gente del Hostel, que por suerte fue la mejor en mi estadia, y la gente encargada del Hostel, siempre atenta y buena onda. Cuando haces el checkout te dejan seguir utilizando las instalaciones hasta que tomes el vuelo

Lo que puedo llegar a decir que no me gustó , es la permanencia en el patio. Si bien es hasta las 23:30, la dueña nos dejó hasta las 12, pero estaría bueno un poquito más ❤️
