Hier is ’n mooi, warm en opregte review wat jy sommer direk kan plaas: Writing Ons het ’n ongelooflike lekker en rustige verblyf gehad! 🌿❤️ Dit voel regtig soos ’n klein stukkie plaas in die middel van die stad – die perfekte plek om weg te breek van die gejaag en net rustig te ontspan. Die eienaars was ongelooflik vriendelik en gasvry, en het ons dadelik tuis laat voel. Die kos was heerlik en alles was net so mooi en rustig. Die warm swembad was beslis een van die hoogtepunte! 🏊‍♀️ Ek en my man kon heerlik rustig swem en ontspan sonder enige worries. Ons het elke oomblik geniet en sal definitief weer teruggaan. ’n Regte juweeltjie en ’n plek wat ons met ’n geruste hart kan aanbeveel! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The breakfast was excellent. Perfectly fried eggs. Understood my instructions exactly and they arrived in minutes, hot and delicious. Thank you.

It didn't bother me too much but might be scary for other guests - the squirrels make a noise at night, in the roof. They play or run around and scratch and jump. It would be sad to have to kill them, just block their entrances during the day so they have to make another plan at night. They should sleep in holes in trees. Or alternatively, build them something for themselves and somehow entice them into it.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Wir hatten ein Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Wohnraum und großer Küche. Leider war es zu unserem Besuch etwas kühl, dafür standen kleine Heizkörper in den Schlafzimmern. Beheizter und überdeckter Pool. Im Zentrum ist ein Teich, die Schaukel am Rand war das Highlight für unsere Kids.

Im Cottage gab es leider keine Dusche, nur eine Badewanne

The cabin was very clean and the dam and trails were lovely. The place has a lot of potential.

The cabin's were all very close together - our view was of the building immediately in front of us, which wasn't painted or nice to look at. It felt more like a barracks. The decor was lovely, though the mattress in the main bedroom wasn't very comfortable. The photos on the website are all of rooms with nicer bathrooms, so that was also a little disappointing.

Very friendly host and staff. We were spoiled every day, from platters in the fridge to Melktert delivered at our door for a evening treat. Clean and comfortable unit with great view over the dam.

The owners let is feel welcome and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. I was ill and they brought me tea and toast and gave me medicine. They checked regularly in with me. I will always be grateful for their care. It is beautiful setting under huge trees and beautiful garden. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this lovely place 100%

The place was comfortable and clean I felt a little insecure due to no security being present and units could easily have been broken into by intruders. Windows and doors had insufficient security measures.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Sub standard coffee was provided, sausages on the menu was actually vienna sausages. No hot porridge was offered. On the whole, the breakfast could be improved on

Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten und das Guesthouse betreiben, sind so unglaublich toll. Unsere 3 Jährige Tochter hat den Pool geliebt und der Ort insgesamt ist einfach super schön. Der See, die grüne Lage und der Blick abends über die Stadt ist wundervoll. In 4 Wochen Südafrika Urlaub war das tatsächlich die tollste Unterkunft in der wir waren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder, falls wir nochmal in Südafrika sind.

Lage sehr gut Schöner Blick über den See Frühstück war okay (lecker aber wenig abwechslungsreich wenn man länger bleibt) Das beste waren die freundlichen Menschen vor Ort, dafür gäbe es 10/10 Punkten

Zimmer klein, vollgestellt und sehr dunkel Waschbecken direkt neben dem Bett statt im Bad, nachts sehr unpraktisch Toilettentür nur zum Anlehnen Terrasse quasi nicht nutzbar da Möbel sehr unbequem und unterm Tisch eine Klimaanlage die so laut war dass Unterhaltungen quasi unmöglich waren Außenbereich nicht gut instandgehalten, keine Sitzgelegenheiten am See, morsche Holzdielen und abgebrochene Steine überall

L’accoglienza è il check-in un po’ “improvvisato” e la colazione basic (il primo giorno non ci hanno manco preparato la tavola e portato succhi e marmellate).

It’s a great scenery for a family or couple to relax.

It didn’t feel safe for a woman with a girl child having neighbours that are men and far from exit and entrance.

This is a lovely peaceful location - you feel miles from anywhere, while actually just a few minutes from all of Paarl's shops and restaurants.

The cooking rings aren't actually hot enough to boil a pan of water. This didn't affect our stay, just meant we had to get a bit creative cooking meals!

Just a little bit more clarity on website/booking to which units are extensively equipped for self catering and which only have basic cutlery eg. to just warm up food or make coffee. Our unit was excellent, but should we have chosen to braai for instance we would have needed a few more things.

Mostly everything. We were there for 2nights and it was value for money. It offered a comfortable bed, bath and tasty breakfast. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.

With the dam next to our room it was very noisy early in the morning when people started to swim and enjoy the facilities.

Beautiful scenic serene gem just off Paarl Main Road. Really enjoyed our stay in the Solder room. Great Fun activities for parents and kids especially kayaking on the dam. The undercover pool is great to cool off during the late afternoon. Very good decent breakfast and the friendly staff is ever so helpful. Please buy some Picardie water that's bottled on the premises at a very affordable price.

Picardie Guest farm was pure bliss for our family. Relaxing and beautiful. The children enjoyed all the activities swimming in the beautiful pool and lake, the swings and paddle boat. The breakfast was delicious and views breathtaking.

Everything. I absolutely loved my stay at Picardie Farm. The family who owns the farm is incredibly warm and welcoming, and all the staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. The indoor swimming pool was a highlight especially during the Paarl heat, as it provides shelter from the sun and wind. The lake is beautiful, and the farm itself is scenic, peaceful, and well maintained. I also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade jams made on the farm, with the gooseberry jam being my absolute favourite.

Clean, neat, and comfortable accommodation in a stunning location. The traditional breakfast was excellent, perfect for families with kids, and the host was truly wonderful. We’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family and look forward to returning soon.

Extrem freundlicher Empfang und zuvorkommende Betreuung - die Chefin kümmert sich ständig um alles. Wir durften unser Zimmer vor dem Abflug auch länger benutzen bei erheblicher Hitze. Traumhafte Garteanlage mit vielen alten Bäumen und einem kleinen Stausee mit Moglchkeit zum Nadem, Rudern, Stand up Paddeln und Angel sowie kleinen Wanderwegen. Außerdem kann man einen übrtdschten Swimimgpool nutzen. Das Frühstück gehört zu Besten was wir erlebten und es ist ein idealer Standort für Ausflüge. Wir haben es für künftige Besuche vorgemerckt und und rundherum wohlgefühlt.

Leider haben wir dieses Quartier erst jetzt kennengelernt.
