Takojt is surrounded by the desert. You can feel the silence. There’s a pool too. We came in August, so the pool was a plus to feel fresh during the day. At Takojt Moubarak will take care of everything. We did a keep tour and the squad. The food is behond amazing and the staff is very helpful.

Un lugar de 10 para pasar unos días y disfrutar de todas las experiencias que te ofrece el desierto. La comida deliciosa y la ubicación espectacular, se agradece poder usar la piscina en este lugar tan idílico. Mubarak como anfitrión y el resto del personal muy atento, solo ponen facilidades para disfrutar de tu estancia, es la segunda vez que repetimos y sin duda volveremos, gracias por todo y hasta la próxima!! What a fantastic place to stay. From the moment we arrived, Mubarak made us feel incredibly welcome. We were lucky enough to have the entire place to ourselves, and he treated us more like friends than guests, making our stay feel very special. We only had one night here, but Mubarak organised a sunset 4x4 tour for us. We expected a simple trip out to the dunes, but it turned into so much more, giving us a wonderful insight into the area and making our desert experience truly memorable. The food was another highlight. We enjoyed the most delicious meal we've had in Morocco, beautifully prepared and full of flavour.

Tolle Lage mit direktem Blick auf die Wüste. Sehr entspannter, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker. Sauberer und erfrischender Pool.

Wenige Steckdosen zum Laden der Smartphones im allgemeinen Bereich. Die Sauberkeit im allgemeinen Bereich könnte ein bisschen besser sein.

Der Koch war lieb und sehr gut.

Der Inhaber hat sich an uns rangemacht und hat ein Nein nicht akzeptiert.

Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr guter Service. Unglaublicher Blick in die Wüste, da direkte Lage an den Sanddünen. Vom Pool hat man die Kamele ( sind ja eigentlich Dromedare) stets im Blick gehabt. Essen war hervorragend.

Les lits trop dur

La posizione è spettacolare proprio di fronte alle dune, il gestore parla molte lingue tra cui l'italiano, abbiamo effettuato un escursione con i loro quad nuovi per vedere il tramonto dalle dune ad un prezzo onesto, la cena per 120 mad a testa è stata una delle più buone e abbondanti fatte in Marocco, normale invece la colazione.

La pulizia della biancheria e della stanza lasciavano molto a desiderare. La tenda alla finestra non è sufficiente per impedire alla luce del mattino di illuminare a giorno la stanza, asciugacapelli non presente perché, a detta del gestore, l'impianto elettrico non lo reggerebbe.

Eigenlijk alles, prachtige uitzicht, zwembad, personeel, eten, flexibiliteit, hygiëne. We voelde ons gelijk thuis! Echt een dikke aanrader.

WiFi een beetje minimaal maar dat vonden we eigenlijk wel prima.

Top verblijf! Heerlijk aan de rand van de sahara en zij kunnen je goed helpen bij het boeken van quad/buggy/kameel ritjes etc! Ook kun je via hun een desert camp regelen, top personeel!

Dopo una notte nel deserto, io e il mio ragazzo saremmo dovuti partire verso Fez, ma abbiamo deciso di fermarci un’altra notte a Merzouga—e per caso abbiamo scoperto questa struttura. Appena arrivati ci è sembrato di essere dentro un quadro. La camera pulita e profumata, con una vista spettacolare. Il proprietario, insieme al ragazzo che lavora lì, ci ha accolti facendoci sentire subito a nostro agio. Abbiamo fatto un tuffo in piscina e ci siamo goduti la vista fantastica. La cena tipica berbera è stata deliziosa, così come la colazione. Purtroppo la sera c’è stata una bufera e non abbiamo potuto fare il fuoco con la musica, ma nella camera calda e accogliente si stava così bene che non ci si può davvero lamentare. Un grazie speciale anche a Rayan, il bambino, per la compagnia!

Die gesamte Gruppe war hier sehr zufrieden. Große und sehr saubere Zimmer, bequeme Betten und sehr ruhig. Essen war extra klasse. Freundliche aufmerksame Mitarbeiter.

Es la segunda vez que duermo en este Hotel. Esta vez fui solo, me faltaba mi mitad. Consiguieron que me sienta como en casa. Prepararon su mejor habitación, su mejor cena e intentaron que no me faltara de nada. No sé si realmente era su mejor habitación o su mejor cena, pero yo desde luego lo sentí así. Hay sitios que son especiales por la gente que te encuentras allí. Están en mejora continua para ofrecer lo mejor al cliente. Este viaje también he dormido en algunos de los mejores y mas caros hoteles de la zona y ninguno se acerca, ni de lejos, a lo a gusto que he estado allí.

Een fijn verblijf met prachtig uitzicht op de sahara! Ze hebben ook een heel mooi camp om een nacht in de sahara te blijven slapen. Het eten was lekker en een goed ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Don't even hesitate, just book it. Staff will go beyond their means to accommodate you. Just sit in the pool and look at the dunes, relax... It's a perfect place for it. You'll stay in a place owned for generations, surrounded by local and owner families. And if you're nice enough they'll treat you like family :) Don't forget to book a Sahara jeep excursion with Hassan, hotel owner cousin. Great guy, recommended!

Ignore comments about sand or bugs etc. You're choosing to stay right on the edge of Sahara desert and guess what, you'll get some amount of sand on your doorstep. Maybe even occasional ant or bug. You can't avoid it, otherwise it's a very clean and nice place to stay. Stupid people will complain about stupid things, ignore them.

We struggled to find the hotel, but this is our bad. We noticed a panel indicating the hotel after some back and forth in Merzouga. The staff was amazing, especially Hassan and his crew. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed the pool with a direct view in the dunes and the owner, very warm and keen to share tips on local activities. Thanks all!

Un grand merci à Moubarak et son équipe pour l’accueil des plus chaleureux! Le lieu est très propre, la piscine a une vue magnifique. Possibilité de déjeuner et de dîner, pour 100 MAD par personne et par repas, c’est très copieux et délicieux. Nous avons dû étendre notre séjour d’une nuit supplémentaire car l’un de nous était malade, Moubarak était très flexible et au petit soin. Une superbe expérience!

Very nice and accommodating hotel manager, nice swimming pool where it is required to wash your self before entering. We got to choose our own room, but…

Firet room we had A/C was broke, and leak from underneath the wash. Second room we had, the A/C was slightly better, but not at all perfect. Toilets in both rooms were not fastened to the floor, so you were “skidding” around while sitting on them. We had our second rooms toilet get clugged just before we left - maybe because toilet is not seated properly. The shower also stopped working on the last day. Ants creep in through the door opening, so no open snacks in the room can be left overnight. Breakfast had some very dry cakes, that were way overdue. Yoghurt served lukewarm. Dinner included in price if you buy directly through them, but is 100DH extra for customers on booking.com.

Het uitzicht over de woestijn en de ruime kamers. Ook het regelen van georganiseerde activiteiten kun je in het hotel regelen.

De kamer zou iets beter gekoeld kunnen worden met een airco.

Maborak was a fantastic host. The minute we booked, he was happy to pick us up personally from the Dream Café which was very much appreciated as I had come down with a fever from the long 9-hour bus trip from Fes. Thank you Maborak for your generous hospitality and your amazing hotel - with its cool pool and expansive views of the dunes - we appreciated all your help with tours, transport, advice and your kindness and would highly recommend Hotel Takojit for anyone seeking an authentic desert experience. Oh, and we hands down say it was the best Morroccon meal we had. 👏

It was truly magical, the house, the breathtaking view, and the entire atmosphere. You can only truly understand the feeling once you have been there yourself. The service was absolutely exceptional, with so much care, attention, and time devoted to us. Every detail made us feel welcome and cherished. We have never tasted couscous so delicious in our lives, a true masterpiece. Thank you, dear chef, for your passion and skill. We are deeply grateful for the beautiful and unforgettable moments we shared together. This experience will stay in our hearts forever. Once again, thank you to each and every one of you for making our stay so special. We truly look forward to returning very soon.

Établissement extra, aux bords du désert. Personnes aux petits soins, d une très grande hospitalité, surtout le gérant Les repas sont exceptionnels, n hésitez pas à les prendre la bas vraiment c est typique marocain N hésitez pas à passer par l hôtel pour réserver une nuit dans des camps au milieu du désert , ou bien pour une visite des dunes en 4x4 suivi du tour de 3/4h qu il propose c est extraordinaire Nous espérons même y retourner cet hiver!

It was a great accomodation, a beautifull view at the dessert. We stayed for two nights and the breakfast, lunch and dinner where good. The owner arranged a 4x4 tour in the morning and a camelride by sunset for us. Both tours where very nice

Very friendly staff. It was a good value for the money, and they don't pressure you too much to do their tours. The countertops with fossils in them were fascinating and representative of the local area.

Surfaces in the room were a little dusty but that's expected in the desert.

Takojt was perfect! It has a very friendly and peaceful atmosphere, the staff and owner are amazing. They organised a camel trip into the desert and I spent the night in a treehouse! The food was good, the room was clean and comfortable, if you want to relax and see the desert, Takojt is the perfect place.

Super friendly, relaxed and helpfull host. He is crazy about dessert driving in al aspects ( rally, races, recreation; bikes, quads, buggies, etc ) The location is situated on the edge of the dunes - and for us: staying 2 nights, with an early rise on 1 day to see sunrise + another day to see sunset is much better and more convenient than all the ‘ride a dromedary and stay in a tent in the dessert. ( These tents are also on the edge of the dunes and it’s mass tourism !) It’s easy and not risky or dangerous to walk a few km’s in the dessert - the host can help you.

It is lovely and will be even nicer when the pool is completed later this year.

An enchanting palace, very close to the dunes and with very good facilities. Food was good, and the breakfast is buffet. The hosts are great!

Room was very hot, it has AC but can't sleep with AC turned on. Can't open windows because of the sand of the desert. Slept with the door open to cool the room.

I had a fantastic New Year's Eve celebration at Takojt. The food was excellent, the pricing reasonable, and the host's warm welcome added to the positive experience. The presence of running warm water was a nice touch, and the host's kindness truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommend!

the owner of the place is a very nice person! he made our stay great! the food was amazing, we had some problems with the heat but the owner made us change the room and we enjoyed our stay!

Very friendly people welcomed me into my room, they were kind enough to serve us all three meals of the day. The hotel was homely and very culture central so it was a nice fresh breath of the morrocan culture. Very clean and tidy hotel absolutely loved it.
