the location is excellent. the camp is clean and comes with all the comforts as expected . Staff are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend the sunset quadbike tour with youssef the bonfire was also fantastic. A special thanks to youssef for treating us as part of his family and for making us feel like home. We would definitely recommend this amazing camp to anyone visiting merzouga desert!

Tolle Organisation mit vielen Angeboten (Kamele reiten, Jeep Safari, Quad fahren) Wir kamen voll auf unsere Kosten. Aufgrund der Hitze könnten wir den Nachmittag in einem Hotel mit Pool verbringen - danke dafür!! Das Personal war immer freundlich, das Essen war sehr gut.

the staff is very friendly and nice, we arrived at midday they allowed us use the swimming pool of their hotel and the pool is nice in the heat .the quadbike was great fun,recommended!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und bemüht, dass es einem gut geht. Das Zelt war auch soweit ok, Das Frühstück war auch prima. Alles war sehr gut organisiert.

Tohle byla ta nejlepší volba pro pobyt v poušti. Byli jsme nadšení, všichni zde byli moc milí od začátku až do konce. Snídaně a večeře byly výborné, zejména večeře nás tedy překvapila tím, jak byla bohatá. Program po večeři se nám také líbil, hrála se živá hudba a tančili jsme na ni u ohniště, super atmosféra. Pro cestu směrem tam jsme zvolili jízdu terénním autem se zastávkou u plameňáků a pak u nomádských obydlí. Na cestu zpět jsme jeli na velbloudech. Velký zážitek. Když jsme přijeli na místo, tak s námi ještě Sa’id (snad jeho jméno píšu správně, když tak se omlouvám), který nám dělal při příjezdu průvodce, šel do dun vedle kempu na sandboarding. Ještě jednou chci vyzdvihnout, jak byl personál úžasný a pohostinný. A samozřejmě také slušné ceny za ubytování i transfer. Určitě doporučuji!

Ontzettend mooie locatie. Het personeel is erg aardig en hebben een persoonlijke benadering. Voor een tent in de woestijn is het echt luxe.

Voor echte luxe moet je naar een hotel, maar voor de locatie is alles erg goed voor elkaar. Zo was er even geen waterdruk bij onze douche, maar dat was al snel opgelost.

Nos gustó todo. Desde montar en 4x4, las instalaciones en el desierto, la cena, la música y bailes alrededor del fuego. Lo único que se nos hizo largo fue el trayecto en camello, dos horas es demasiado. El guía en español Said .....estupendo y amabilísimo.

We stayed at the camp for one night and had a really wonderful experience. Pick-up was easy and well organised at a pre-arranged meeting point. From there, several transfer and activity options were offered. We chose the simple 4x4 transfer, and even the drive through the dunes was already great fun. At the camp, we were welcomed with tea and a lot of warmth and friendliness. We were lucky with the weather: despite 46°C, there was no wind. We went sandboarding, climbed the dunes and simply rolled down them – a lot of fun. Dinner was served in a separate area and was very good and generous, with several starters, salad, aubergine dishes, main courses and dessert. Even though we mentioned our vegetarian preference quite late, they accommodated it without any problem and were very attentive. After dinner, there was music, a campfire and dancing. A longer drum session under the full moon was a particularly special moment for us. The next morning, we rode camels into the dunes for sunrise. The slow pace is very calming, but walking through the dunes is just as enjoyable – a camel ride is definitely not a must. Afterwards, we had breakfast and some more time in the dunes before leaving by 4x4 at around 10am. What stood out most was the genuine friendliness and warmth of the people there.

When you stay in a desert camp, you know what kind of experience to expect. But this one was actually much more comfortable than expected, with proper beds, a private bathroom with shower and toilet, swings and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. So there was really nothing we didn’t like. Our only recommendation would be to stay for at least two nights. One night goes by very quickly, and with a second night you have much more time to slow down, enjoy the desert, meet locals and simply relax.

Todos os funcionários muito prestativos, esforçaram-se para que tivéssemos uma experiência incrível. À noite fizeram a fogueira e todos cantaram, tocaram e dançaram. Depois do deserto viemos para o hotel onde tínhamos mais pequeno almoço e uma piscina ótima para refrescar 😀

Não conseguimos dormir na tenda estava mesmo muito calor! Tem lá uma ventoinha mas não chega para o calor de agosto. O meu conselho é vir numa altura mais fresca!

Tutto bellissimo. Ospitalità oltre ogni aspettativa da parte di tutto lo staff, da Youssef, ai ragazzi del campo che ci hanno intrattenuto alla sera e accolti a braccia aperte, a Ismael che ci ha accompagnato con i cammelli al tramonto(esperienza magnifica), a Said che ci ha riportato indietro con un' avventura in jeep indimenticabile. Cena ottima e colazione super abbondante. È stata un' esperienza unica che ti rimane nella vita. Consigliato, soprattutto per lo staff meraviglioso.

L'unica cosa bella è la posizione nel senso che si trova nel deserto.

Le tende non sono vivibili in agosto anche di notte in quanto non hanno dei semplici sistemi di areazione. La colazione e la cena appena discreti.

Magnifique campement au milieu du désert. Personnel très sympa. Si vous restez 2 jours, je vous conseille l excursion avec piscine et repas au palace hôtel.

Sehr schöne Camp und wunderschöne Erlebniss in Merzouga Luxury Camp. Die Jungs sind sehr nett und alle sprechen iwie englisch. Das essen war abwechlungsreich, manche Sachen nicht ganz meinz, was ich bisschen schade fand war süße Frühstuck, das war sehr schwer jede Morgen mit honig oder/und Marmelade den Tag anzufangen, aber da es in Marokko üblich ist, sind wir alle trotzdem sehr zufrieden gewesen. Abends gab immer Musik und Feuer, tanzen und Sterne schauen. Einzigartig.

Il giro con i dromedari è stato bellissimo e la guida Hassane molto simpatica. Dopo la cena abbiamo ballato intorno al fuoco e suonato tutti insieme. Esperienza che rifaremmo sicuramente.

Alles is goed bevallen. Ik was er met vrouw en 2 kids van 3 en 5. Met de hulp van youssef was het verblijf echt top. Hij regelde wat er geregeld moest worden. Youssef is echt een topper. We verbleven in een tent en de volgende dag een complete excursie gehad met daarna een heerlijk verblijf in een prachtig hotel, ook door youssef geregeld. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dank aan youssef en zijn team. TOPPP

Molt bona experiència. El personal molt agradable i implicat en que estiguis a gust. Vàrem anar en Camells i tornar en 4x4. El sopar estaba bo i complert. L’esmorzar correcte Després del sopar, ens varen posar al voltant d’una foguera on van tacar la guitarra i timbals. Després varen intentar que aprenguessin a tocar-los.

Camp incantevole e curato. YOUSSEF ci ha accolti con te alla menta. Fantastico il Transfer con cammello all'andata e jeap al ritorno:esperienza unica. Per non parlare dell'alba in quad accompagnati da Youssef e sandboard per tutti. Dopo l'ottima cena musica e balli berberi.

TUTTOOOOOO…. L organizzazione è a dir poco fantastica… dall’arrivo all’ attesa per il soggiorno in camp nel loro hotel con piscina … il camp un sogno ❤️

El trato por parte de todos fue inmejorable. Nos sentimos muy bien acogidos y cuidados. La comida excepcional! A los niños les encantó el traslado en 4x4 por las dunas y la salida en dromedario. Y la música por la noche fue la guinda del pastel.

Luxury worthy of desert conditions :) Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels. Very friendly and helpful staff. The jeep tour was very interesting, with a very talkative and friendly guide; it's definitely worth taking advantage of. If you're only staying one night, it's better to go to the camp by jeep – a longer route, not just through the desert – and then take a shorter camel trek in the evening, rather than going to the camp by camel, which takes longer. Plus, there's live Moroccan music in the evening. The whole plan was a success, even though the weather wasn't cooperating.

Puede que la comida no sea su punto fuerte, pero entendimos que no llega todo al desierto. Toda la comida hecha con amor esta buena, y ellos sin duda lo hacen todo con mucho mimo. El desayuno buenísimo.

Alle super freundlich, der Kamelritt in der Sahara war perfekt organisiert und toller Sternenhimmel inklusive Milchstraße.

L'accueil autour d'un thé avant le départ avec les explications claires des différentes activités proposées par l'équipe. Le confort des tentes au milieu du désert. Les activités, le dîner et le petit déjeuner... L'accueil et le pilotage 4x4 au milieu des dunes de Mohamed et Youssef est opérationnel pour toutes demandes et "homme à tout faire", ainsi que chacun des autres membres 👍.

Eine Wüstenübernachtung im Merzouga Luxury Camp ist wirklich ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett, das Essen reichhaltig und gut. Die Zelte sind groß ( wir waren zu viert in einem großen Zelt), sogar mit Dusche und Spül- Toilette und Waschbecken ausgestattet. Wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht. Am Anfang bekommt man Touren angeboten, die auf den ersten Blick Recht teuer wirken. Am Preis kann man mit dem Chef noch ca. 10,% raushandeln. Wir hatten eine Tages-Tour mit Besuch eines Berber Dorfs, eines Sees mit Flamingos, Kulturzentrum mit Afrikanischer Musik gebucht. Wir waren den ganzen Tag toll unterhalten. Die letzten 4 Stunden durften wir dann in einem ziemlich neuen Hotel mit nicht mehr als 8 anderen Touristenl am Rand der Wüste den Pool genießen und bekamen ein hervorragendes 3-gängiges Mittagessen. Am Ende wurden wir wieder abgeholt und machten eine 1 Stündige Quad Tour, die Dünen auf und ab Das hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Ein wirklich gelungener Tag. Am ersten Tag hatten wir eine Kamel Tour gebucht und kamen voll auf unsere Kosten. Abends gibt's Musik am Feuer mit Tanz. Die Mitarbeiter geben alles, damit es den Gästen gefällt und man gut unterhalten ist. Sandsurfen ist kostenlos möglich. Ein tolles Erlebnis.2 Nächte lohnen sich definitiv! Danke Merzouga Team, Mohamed, Youssef und Sahid, sowie alle anderen! Never forget you and the wonderful Desert!

Toller Ort, die die Wüste kompakt erleben wollen. Super nettes Personal, gutes Essen und ein ganz tolles Ambiente. Besonders die Sonnenuntergangs-Cameltour kann ich gut als Einstieg empfehlen, die noch keine Erfahrung mit Camelreiten haben.

Si buscas comodidades y lujo en el desierto este es tu lugar. Las tiendas eran cómodas, con baño y camas grandes. El personal era muy amable.

La experiencia en sí, no nos gustó nada. Buscábamos algo no tan lujoso, más auténtico, vivir un par de días en el desierto sin tantas comodidades a las que estamos tan acostumbrados y apegados. Ni siquiera se veían las estrellas de lo iluminado que estaba el campamento. Intentamos adentrarnos un poco en las dunas, pero está plagado de campamentos que hacen que la contaminación lumínica no te deje tan si quiera ver el maravilloso cielo estrellado del desierto.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Camp in Erg Chebbi in der Sahara hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für drei Personen mit unserem Kind. Es gab tatsächlich eine eigene Toilette, ein Waschbecken und warmes Wasser. Wir haben eine Quad-Tour gebucht, die ungefähr einen halben Tag gedauert hat. Dabei haben wir ein Berberdorf, einen See, eine Oase und natürlich die Wüste selbst gesehen. Unser Sohn ist sogar mit einem Snowboard die Sanddünen hinuntergefahren 😊 Außerdem haben wir Mittag- und Abendessen im Camp bestellt – das Essen war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und kein Gericht hat sich wiederholt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Abends wurde Musik gespielt, die Gäste wurden unterhalten und es gab Lagerfeuer. Man konnte sowohl mit Kindern als auch als Paar wunderbar entspannen und den Abend nach einem langen Tag in der Wüste genießen. Ich habe insgesamt sehr positive Eindrücke mitgenommen. Anfangs war ich etwas unsicher wegen eines solchen Camps, aber alles ist wirklich gut verlaufen. Ich kann es definitiv weiterempfehlen.

We couldn’t find the parking and the owner was able to go look for us. The owner gave us a fun 4x4 jeep experience in the sand dunes.

The accommodation included half board, and my partner is vegetarian. They prepared vegetable tajines for her, but unfortunately they were undercooked and completely lacked flavor. She couldn’t eat more than two bites. We also booked a sunrise camel ride, which could have been a nice experience, but it was uncomfortable due to inappropriate comments from the workers, including asking about a “camel massage.” This made the experience awkward and unprofessional.

Everything was amazing, the facilities, the food, the cleanness, the staff is warm and welcoming. I recommend you book the quads and camel rides with them. And the guided tour. Also bring a bikini with you, they have a pool in one do their hotels, to which they can bring you. Highly recommend!

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Everything went so smoothly and exceeded our expectations! Starting with the pickup from Riad desert camel and then the beautiful camel ride during sunset to the camp, the host and staff were extremely attentive to us throughout the stay.the room (tent)was comfortable with private bathroom,bonfire after dinner with great fun.

Abbiamo alloggiato in una tenda molto spaziosa con un letto matrimoniale king size, c’erano addirittura altri 3 letti singoli. Bagno con doccia ed acqua calda. Cena molto buona e dopo cena canti e balli intorno al fuoco, siamo stati davvero bene. I proprietari davvero disponibili e sempre presenti. Esperienza che ricorderemo per tutta la vita.

Wir hatten insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung im Merzouga Luxury Camp, allerdings sollte man wissen, dass viele Zusatzkosten vor Ort noch dazukommen. Die Preise bei Booking beziehen sich nur auf die Übernachtung – Transfers und Aktivitäten zahlt man extra. Der Transfer mit dem Pickup zum Camp hat bei uns 30 € pro Person gekostet. Man sitzt dabei hinten auf der Ladefläche, was durchaus seinen Charme hat und irgendwie zur Wüstenerfahrung dazugehört. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten muss jeder für sich selbst bewerten. Die Quad-Tour hat uns Spaß gemacht, weil man dort wirklich auch mal schneller fahren und durch die Dünen heizen durfte. Dafür haben wir für zwei Quads etwa 80 € bezahlt. Die Buggy-Tour dagegen war eher enttäuschend: Man fährt die ganze Zeit hinter einem Guide auf dem Quad her und darf kaum Geschwindigkeit aufnehmen, wodurch das Ganze ziemlich eintönig wirkt. Dafür lagen die Kosten bei rund 120 €. Der Kamelritt zum Sonnenaufgang war atmosphärisch schön, man sollte aber wissen, dass es sich eher um einen kurzen Ausflug handelt. Man reitet ungefähr zehn Minuten vom Camp weg, schaut sich den Sonnenaufgang an und reitet anschließend wieder zurück. Dafür haben wir 50 € bezahlt. Das Essen war in Ordnung und absolut akzeptabel, allerdings sollte man kein besonderes kulinarisches Highlight erwarten. Insgesamt lebt das Erlebnis vor allem von der besonderen Atmosphäre mitten in der Wüste und der Landschaft rund um die Dünen. Gleichzeitig hatte man an manchen Stellen das Gefühl, dass der Service organisatorisch noch etwas aufmerksamer und präsenter sein könnte, gerade in den gemeinschaftlich genutzten Bereichen am Abend. Unterm Strich ist das Camp eine interessante Erfahrung, besonders wenn man einmal in der Sahara übernachten möchte. Man sollte sich aber bewusst sein, dass viele Aktivitäten und Transfers zusätzlich bezahlt werden müssen und dadurch am Ende deutlich höhere Gesamtkosten entstehen können als zunächst erwartet.

Was mir weniger gefallen hat, war vor allem, dass viele Zusatzkosten erst vor Ort richtig deutlich werden, einige Aktivitäten preislich nicht ganz dem Erlebnis entsprechen und der Service in den Gemeinschaftsbereichen teilweise etwas unaufmerksam wirkte.

Es una experiencia increíble, las personas son generosas, amables y excelentes anfitriones. La comida es deliciosa y abundante, te llenan de música y alegría, te acompañan y guían para que cada paseo y momento lo vivas de la mejor manera. Es un campamento, pero tienen todas las comodidades que cualquier turista puede pedir. Con independencia del tiempo, ya sea viento, frío o calor, todo es posible resolver para vivir al máximo esta experiencia que recomiendo ampliamente. No se lo pierdan, es increíble.
