Cape Village Lodge

Clean and comfortable. Staff were exceptional.

Breakfast was fantastic and the staff and host all very welcoming and friendly. Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Can highly recommend this lovely guest house. Would have loved to have stayed longer as it was a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

Very comfortable room with small kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean and working

Bed perhaps a bit small.

Clean, modern, beautiful!

Nothing!

Prachtig huis, kamers heel mooi en praktisch ingericht. Heel mooie tuin. Eigen terras aan de kamer. Heerlijk zwembad. Zeer goed ontbijt. Kortom alles erop en eraan

Alles was meer dan prima.

Amazing for the business traveler!!

Beautiful lodge. Everything was pristine, beautifully presented inside and outside, clean, organised, lovely welcome and nice breakfast. Very accomodating with my gluten free breakfast options. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated, nice amenities and facilities. Everything had been thought of.

The bed was way too hard for us. A sleep saver would be a great addition.

Schönes Ambiente, sauberes gut ausgestattes Zimmer, gepflegte Unterkunft / Außenanlage, sehr sauber, Pool + Indoorsport facilities, gutes Frühstück, ruhige + sichere Lage,

Peaceful & relaxing. Clean and neat. Beverage station adequately stocked. Well fitted kitchenette with microwave kettle fridge coffee machine. Bathroom with all vanities and extra towels , shower and bath tub. Check in was easy and flexible. Has a checkout of 12.00pm which is so helpful

The bed length was not standard as other beds, was short even for our average - shorter heights.

The room was very clean and comfortable, with a pleasant bathroom and a practical kitchenette that made our stay easy and convenient. The terrace and the sun loungers on the grass were a real highlight, perfect for relaxing outside. The location is ideal, especially for quick access to the Durbanville Sports Facility.

The fridge was quite noisy, and we had to switch it off during the night to sleep comfortably. The interior also feels a little dark, although this is nicely compensated by the outdoor space.

Our room had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. Perfect breakfast for what we required

Parking was very tight

This place was exceptional! Felicia was so kind and attentive! The staff were unbelievable! We will be back - no doubt!!

The lication, the staff!!

Great

Good location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, clean!

The environment was peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

What a wonderful place to stay! Everything is fantastic. Your hosts too. Great for a relaxing stay. Close to attractions.

This was a very comfortable property with friendly staff and in a good location. It was a delight to discover Durbanville and the lodge gave great recommendations on places to eat. It was nice to have one's own private wing and to have decent heating, we found the weather cold! All round it was a very pleasant stay.

Very few places ever seem to provide more than one decent-sized bath towel, and we had difficulty drying ours given the cold weather. It would be great to be given two large bath sheets per person. I had forgotten to request a non-dairy milk and gluten-free products for breakfast, just assuming that these are pretty standard nowadays. So this did limit options. But it was not a train smash. The parking area is small and a little difficult to negotiate getting out - reversing being not my top game - fortunately I could rely on the skills of my co-driver!

Was our second visit to this amazing guesthouse. Still one of our favourite places to stay. Everything is so BEAUTIFUL and PERFECT. And the staff is super nice.

Just that we didn't book more than one night :)

Save. Comfortable. Warm

Excellent service. Good location. Great facilities.

No complaints

Location was nice and close to my family.

Servic level was great from everyone

The mattress was so hard 😫 and short (and I'm not tall).

Great location in a quiet and upmarket neighbourhood. The property is beautiful and looks recently renovated. The gardens are stunning and the decor really tasteful. My room was nice and spacious and had everything I needed for my stay. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in - I’d love to know the brand so I can get myself one of these beds! I loved that there was a small gym room (with a treadmill and some weights). Service was friendly and efficient, we were greeted as we drove into the property. Highly recommend staying here.

The only minor point is that the blinds/shutter at the door to my room doesn’t fully close as it’s blocked at the bottom by the skirting board (room 4). Thus there was a sliver of light shining into my room from the garden light outside. This didn’t bother me too much as I was tired and slept through it, but will keep light sleepers awake.

Very clean and modern room. Friendly reception. Bathroom facilities very nice!

No freeze department in fridge… couldn’t use ice packs for long road ahead!

5 star

Beautiful property. Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful garden.

Just a small recommendation: it would be great to have better coffee facilities in the room and not only Nescafe sachets.

We appreciate for later checkout and stuff was very helpful with the washing.

It will be great if they could assist us with the luggage when they welcome us.

Our second stay - can recommend! Friendly staff, neat accommodation, quality finishes and well maintained, quiet, lovely garden.

Lovely pool, quiet and safe. Staff were really lovely and welcoming.

Better than the photos

Very pretty gardens, comfortable rooms

All good

It is a really beautiful Dutch Capestyle house, the garden! Well maintained. The rooms not overly spacious but very tastefull, the bathroom relatively bigg and also very tasteful. Located In a quiet neighborhood, restaurants/shops maybe not even a 5 min drive away. We came back after staying there also last year. We don’t know about the breakfast since we had to leave for the airport very early.

The mattress is to our liking quite hard, but definitely to short. I am 188 cm.

I loved everything about my stay. The decor was really awesome, I loved the nice big bedside cupboards next to the bed. Super comfy bed.. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, well prepared and presented. The staff are super friendly and helpful. All toiletries are provided even a shower cap. Super clean.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. I was happy with everything.

Close to family

The property is clean and quiet

Super friendly welcoming - perfect set up - all high quality

Nothing to complain about!

Great location

Breakfast was only okay

Fantastic venue , host friendly , good size shower and water pressure. Linen /towels clean and new.

Excellent accommodation

A great experience as always

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Lovely new blinds with remote controls, and a lovely bathroom. I forgot a pair of shoes there and the staff were wonderfully helpful in sending it back to me.

We really enjoyed everything, the modern interiors and spacious rooms. Pleasantly surprised with underfloor heating as well as wall sockets that included USB A and C ports. And also a small gym with some weights and a treadmill. We would certainly return if we are in the area again.
