Reviewed Sep 29, 2025위치 좋아요. 베비에르도 옆에 있고, 주변에 구시가라서 맛집 많아요. 아문당도 가깝지만 안가까운ㅋㅋ 동명동도 걷기엔 조금 멀지만 그래도 구시가라서 여기저기 가기 편해요. 버스 정류장도 가깝고~
세면대 물이 고여서 어느 정도 되면 떨어지는데 밤새도록? 제가 쓴게 아닌데도... 뭔가 이상하긴 했어요. 보니까 화장실 쓰레기통에 물이 가득했어요ㅠㅠ 이 방만 그랬나몰라도.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2025아버지 대신 예약 해 드렸는데 이 근방 호텔들은 주차장이 거의 기계식이더군요. 그런데 아버지가 주차를 지상에 편하게 대셨다 들어서 좋았습니다. 또 늦은 시각 입실했는데 편하게 주무신 것 같아서 좋은 호텔을 잘 선택한 듯 합니다.

There was a discrepancy between the booking.com invoice and what the hotel charged me. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they could not help me, but referred me to booking.com. I feel that the hotel should have rectified the situation on site.

Parking was a bit of a hassle (we had to be parked behind other cars). The instructions to access Netflix did not work. The description of the "deluxe double room" we had stated that the standout feature was "the hot tub". There was a tub, yes, but it was not a hot tub.

Reviewed May 23, 2024They are helpful and can talk a little english as well. There a lot of things near the hotel. Markets and sights, restaurants and shops. But the stations are far by walk. The room was cleaned and very good decorations but no bathrooms sets...
They put laundry bag in our room which we have filled up but when I came down the reception they told us that they dont offer laundry service then they tried to help us by showing the way to the nearest laundry office. We came back at the end of the day (afzer almost 8-9 hours) and we found our clothes on the streets but we paid still. We paid 60.000 won which is very expensive. And it was still not cleaned properly. The laundry service is a shame.

It was warm in the room and we couldn’t work out how to turn on the airco. When we switched it on, it turned itself off after a few minutes.

The hotel is really okay, but it is one of those pseudo style hotels that wants to appear grandeur but lacks of more subtle quality; e.g. the silicone in the bathroom shows fancy metallic effect but the installation of the sink is poor, making gulpy noises, and when you use the shower the whole bathroom is flooded because the intake is located at the opposite corner, and the light is as bright as in an OR… Also, note that the room appearance is not as cosy as shown on the pictures with wooden floors and all that but rather achromatic - anyway, these are probably only personal sensibilities…

Reviewed Nov 16, 2023Hotel is awesome! Located in the central tourist spot (not the geographical city center, thought the central part of all the places that tourists usually visit in Gwangju). There are a lot of restaurants and attractions nearby. Transportation is good as well. Hotel itself is fully renovated, rooms are in good condition, clean and spacious. Personal speaks English well.
Sound isolation was not as perfect as you might hope for it to be, sometimes you could hear people talking in the halls or in the room above (assume they we loud).

Reviewed Sep 10, 2023The hotel is perfectly located in the city. Everything you need is in walking distance and the main bus stops (e.g.to express bus, national park) are a 10-15 min walk away. Staff was friendly, you had everything you need and we the room was spacious.
The water from the walk-in shower was flowing into the other parts of the bathroom when showering for more than a minute or two.

The breakfast is half an hour before stop a bit empty and mostly Korean food - offering at least toast with jam and two kind of basic cereals.

We can also use the shampoo, conditioner, body soap and bath gown. Staff is very nice! Everyone was smily and friendly. I like this hotel.
The airconditioner wasn’t cleaned up. It seemed to be moldy… I how it will be cleaned up. Closet was dark. I think it is better that they have the light entrance or inside of the closet.
