Wat een geweldige homestay! Vanaf het eerste moment werden we superhartelijk ontvangen — je voelt je meteen deel van de familie. Iedereen is ongelooflijk vriendelijk en gastvrij. De kamers zijn gezellig en elke kamer heeft z’n eigen terras, wat het extra aangenaam maakt. Naast de homestay ligt een restaurantje waar je heerlijk kan genieten van een traditionele hot pot — echt een aanrader! Hoewel we na onze eerste nacht ergens anders gingen logeren, werden we later uitgenodigd om les te geven in het schooltje waar de man van de eigenares werkt, zo hartverwarmend. Toen onze tweede homestay helaas erg tegenviel, zijn we hier opnieuw gaan aankloppen en werden we opnieuw met open armen ontvangen. Zonder probleem konden we terug een kamer huren, gewoon voor één dag. Als je in Banlung bent, móét je hier verblijven. Zelden zo'n warme en oprechte gastvrijheid meegemaakt!

Room was specious and clean. Staff/owners were friendly, sympathetic and helpful. They were there always with a smile and ready to help you.

The neighbourhood was too loud, every night there was karaoke going on at the neighbourhood. Which wasn't what we wished for. We wanted a quiet place to stay. The wooden cabin we were staying in didn't have any soundproofing, we could hear what the guest at the next door cabin was talking about, when he was snoring, etc.

Feeling cosy with greens surrounding the property. Feeling fresh and quiet.

Great value for inexpensive, clean room with good internet. Kind owner who speaks English. Helpful in arranging onward bus out of town. I will stay here again.

Property a bit removed from center of city, nearby food options are few. Dogs barking and fighting through the night just outside door made sleep a bit tough.

Great hosts, so very helpful (providing information, organising tours, trekking, bus tickets). And in addition - wonderful food!

Really nice wooden bungalow, a bit outside the city. It's actually well build so there is a real private bathroom, the room is large enough, and you can relax on the porch. The environment is quite quiet, and the bungalows are surrounded with a nice garden so it feels cosy. You can eat at their restaurant just down, it's pretty cheap but it's only one hotpot so It's really nice the first time, then it gets repetitive. The owner is really nice.

It's really cheap so you wouldn't expect too much of a simple bungalow, but it's really nice so there is not much to complain. Maybe you should double check for the transport if you ask via the owner, cause you might get a local company for a price not that local.

We liked the room and location as it was on the edge of the town. The garden setting was nice.The lunch and breakfast were good. We were able to rent a scooter. The hosts gave us information about the treks but we thought they were expensive so didn't book one.

The water was not on all the time, very intermittent. The restaurant had been changed into a BBQ restaurant so the place didn't have the vibe suggested by the reviews.

It was really nice to stay in Ratanak Tep Rithea Homestay! The family was very friendly & the location is very beautiful! The breakfast is good & western style. The family picked us up from the busstation.

There are a few little houses, and they are seperated in two rooms with one veranda. They have both there one nice & clean bathrooms with hot water! If you would like to have more silence than you could decide to book the whole house (two rooms) or ask the family if one room is already booked.

The house is from a fairytale - a wooden house in the middle of the nature, with a garden, wooden table & seats in front of it on the terrace. The room itself is great, the beds are really comfortable + they have a mosquito net which we really appreciated, the bathroom is good. What made our stay here really memorable are the owners and their son Sok. They are incredibly kind, helpful, funny, and Sok is a wonderful company - he guided us around the city and played chess with us. One of the best stays ever, we really recommend this place! Family run place, same as place next door: Family House, which turned out to be the place with helpful owner, good breakfast and dinner.

The family here is so welcoming and heartful. They are one of the nicest one we have ever met! You can have everything from them. The wooden bungalow is really nice with a small terrace. You have also the possibility to have breakfast and dinner here. And the food tastes delicious! Would definitely come back here.
