Reviewed Sep 1, 2026yataklar temiz ve konforluydu.. kahve sıcak su imkanı vardı, mutfakta ocak dışında yeterli malzeme vardı.
oda çok dardı, hareket etmek epey zor oldu.. ortak kullanım alanı küçükte olsa kullanışlıydı, ama ocak yoktu ve tuvaletlerle arasında mesafe olmadığı için kokuyordu..

- Sehr dreckig (Flecken auf den Bettlaken, überall Haare und Staub im Bad, schmutzige Fenster) - Der Teppichfußboden hat gestunken und hatte Brandflecken (und man muss barfuß darauf laufen) - Tür zur geteilten Toilette konnte man nicht abschließen - Generell sehr in die Jahre gekommen und teuer für die gebotene Leistung

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026All round excellent value for money hostel. It is located near several malls (and as such great restaurants) and within is walking distance of KK City. Quiet throughout the day and night, so is not the place to make new friends if that's what you're looking for. Staff are very friendly and helpful; they let us store a large bag for 4 nights whilst we travelled to Sandakan. Great facilities: spotlessly clean and the wifi was very good.
The hostel is directly in the flight path, so there is noise from planes landing. It did not affect sleeping with ear plugs though.

The toilets and bathrooms are always well-maintained and spotless. The location is very strategic, just 2 minutes away from Imago. Highly recommended! I will definitely stay here again when I visit Kota Kinabalu.

Wat lastiger te vinden vanuit buiten. Belettering zit aan 2 kanten van het gebouw, maar er is maar 1 ingang.

The house rules are clear and reasonable, helping to keep everything organized and peaceful. The location is awesome—super convenient and close to everything you might need, whether it's food, transport, or local attractions. It really added to the overall experience. The owner or receptionist was especially kind and understanding, which made the stay even more enjoyable. They were helpful and easy to talk to, adding a personal and welcoming touch. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hostel to other travelers looking for a clean, well-run, and perfectly located place to stay!
I hope slippers are provided for guests who aren't used to walking barefoot.

Reviewed Jul 23, 2025Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer is simpel, maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. De bedden zijn goed en het is schoon. Gedeelde badkamer is verdeeld over een mannen en vrouwen gedeelte en bevat verschillende douche hokjes. Goede straal en temperatuur makkelijk in te stellen.
Het hostel ligt wat verder van het stadscentrum, zo’n 20 minuten lopen.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2025It is a new and comfortable hostel! Good quality-price. The beds are comfortable. Even if it is not in the centre of the city, it is in a good location: it is in KK Times Square surrounded by restaurants and close to Imago Mall. It is also close to the airport.
The cleanings can be improved, above all in the bathroom. Initially I had some issues to find the hostel, the staff should provide better instructions on the exact location of the hostel.

It said hostel with a view, however there is hardly any window. Every toilet has a brush standing on the floor, which is regularly washed entirely with a hose, so you can guess what you are stepping into... not to mention the no shoes policy.

Bon wifi.facile pour arriver depuis l’aéroport. Bien placé car on peut aller facilement en ville à pied ou à la plage. Centre commercial juste à côté. Restaurant..
Il faisait très chaud dans les communs.. certaines filles malaysiennes écoutaient leur tph sans écouteurs. À 5h du matin y en a une qui était en train de téléphoner dans la chambre.. j’avais jamais vu ça !!

Reviewed May 8, 2025They dont have QR or online transaction for payment and the nearest ATM is in the Imago Mall (quite a walk especially if in hurry) I didnt bring enough cash and got lost in the mall trying to find ATM while rushing with time, luckily i messaged the reception staff and she eventually offered her personal QR so it’s settled. But tbh it was quite a waste of time and energy-draining trying to find the ATM especially because I was not familiar with the layout of the Imago Mall so yes, make sure to bring enough cash (They dont take deposit also)
Rm42 per night (weekend) + Rm15 for parking from evening 6pm to 7am (parking fees depends on the hours you park) = TOTAL Rm57 For me i think it is just a bit cheaper than a 2 or 3-star hotel. Otherwise, all of the facilities & amenities are good enough for a short night stay. The space is clean, have personal locker, black-out curtain & plug for charging, sheet is thick & comfortable, room is air-conditioned and the toilet have hot shower. Towel & soap was also provided. Have pantry with water dispenser, not forgotten ironing board. The only thing that you’d have to compromise is privacy in terms where you’d have to be extra careful with making sounds so not to disturb your roommates (which is no worries if in personal hotel room).

Good wifi. - Very thin walls, could hear everything - earplugs is a must Showers were good, but toilets dont have enough privacy because they are separated from common areas by just plastic accordion doors and I could literally hear people peeing to my room. Only hot water refill available. Very musty rooms with no ventilation. Hostel itself is relatively clean, but very dirty hallways leading to the hostel.
