Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Our honeymoon at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives was absolutely amazing! We stayed in an Overwater Villa with a private pool, and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic!
When we arrived, our housekeeper Prasanna had beautifully decorated our bed, and we were welcomed with champagne and a lovely chocolate cake. Throughout our stay, Prasanna made sure everything was clean and tidy and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly as we wished.
Thank you so much, Prasanna, for your wonderful service and for making our honeymoon so special! We had an unforgettable time and will definitely cherish these memories forever. ❤️

Only the Hard rock restaurant was good and the service is good.
Very slow service, and it was not clean, the washroom was smelly, the services bad and very slow. The staff was not competent, and the phone in the room was not working. They did not give us all the information. The resort is very old, the food in this resort was very bad .

Vale la pena coger una villa en el agua, temporada de agosto y septiembre el hotel está vacío y los precios son buenos.
Si quieres un viaje de ensueño en Maldivas, coge este hotel con régimen todo incluido.

Everything is out of this world, from the place, to the staff, to the amenities and the comfort. Our 2 bedroom water villa was incredible, but even more the constant pampering. We had a private terrace with a living room, a pool, and an amazing hammock over the water, perfect for chilling moments while enjoying the wildlife views. Best of all, Ibrahim, who made this trip a memory we will never forget. From yoga mats, to afternoon snacks, delivered everyday to the villa, he made our stay a unique and unforgettable experience. Always prompt to diligently follow up on every request, we do not have to worry about anything at all. The staff in the restaurants were also great, special thanks to Hahthaam, Faaig, Thor and Amit, always with a smile.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026We came for a four-night weekend trip and specifically chose this hotel because it’s so close to Malé airport — and that turned out to be a great decision. The transfer was quick and extremely well organized from the moment we arrived.
It was our first time in the Maldives, so I came without too many expectations, but the place genuinely looks as beautiful as the pictures. The nature is incredible, the hotel is clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly everywhere.
One of the best things is being part of the larger resort area, with the Marina, different restaurants and other hotels all connected. Each place has a slightly different vibe and facilities, but everything feels like one ecosystem. You can basically leave your room with nothing but your room key — or almost nothing at all 😄 — walk around, use the facilities, eat at different restaurants and charge everything to your room. It makes the whole experience incredibly easy and relaxing.
The only thing that felt unnecessarily confusing was the check-in process. Everyone arrives at the same reception and hands over their passports, but there doesn’t seem to be a clear queue or any obvious way of knowing who is being served first, second or third. After travelling, it would be much nicer to have a more structured and transparent check-in process. That said, the staff were doing their best, everything was handled fairly quickly, and once we got to the room, the holiday was excellent.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La villa con piscina frente a la playa. Las bicicletas para moverse por la isla e ir a la marina. La comida. Las vistas. Estar a solo 20 min del aeropuerto de Male en speed boat. Las excursiones del Dive Center (aunque caras), y los deportes acuáticos (aunque caros, el SUP no incluido). Buen sitio para ir tres días (más ya se haría aburrido).
La única nota negativa, la inducción obligatoria que hacen para poder alquilar 1h un catamarán hobbie cat para navegar en la laguna del hotel. Parecía que me estuviera examinando del PER un examinador de esos que van a pillar. Nada amigable. He alquilado vela ligera en muchos sitios a lo largo de 20 años, sobre todo en Dubai, y nunca me había visto en semejante encerrona.

Booking buggies to transport us to dinner was a nightmare. We booked on two separate nights and we walked to dinner on both nights. This was after contacting reception who assured us the 'buggies were definitely coming' albeit 30 minutes late each time.... but they still never arrived.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026The rooms were very well maintained clean and spacious. Both water villa and beach villa were very comfortable. Roxity daycare for kids was fun filled and activities kept the kids busy even if it rained. The water slide in the swimming pool was also safe for small kids.

Die Anlage ist ein Traum, gepflegt und die Angestellten sind jeden Tag bemüht, dass dies so bleibt! Die Unterkunft direkt am Strand war großzügig geschnitten, das Highlight war die Aussendusche und die ultrabequemem Sessel auf der Terrasse, von der man aufs Meer blicken konnte. Das Zimmer wurde täglich sehr bemüht gereinigt, was bei der Menge von Sand, die man automatisch mit hinein bringt, eine große Herausforderung war, die aber stets gemeistert wurde. Das Essen war qualitativ so hochwertig und die Auswahl der verschiedenen Restaurant Möglichkeiten war für uns vollkommen ausreichend, einfach über die App einen Tisch reservieren, ging problemlos! Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Gerade für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern ist diese Anlage top, meine Tochter war begeistert vom Kidsclub und durch die Verbindung zur Marina crossroads und dem Saii haben wir eigentlich alles ausgiebig genutzt! Ein kleiner Punkt hat uns trotzdem gefehlt, die white Party… das war aber bestimmt der Monsun Zeit geschuldet. Ich habe mich verliebt in die Malediven!

Reviewed Aug 4, 2026Our stay at Hard Rock Hotel Maldives was fantastic! The staff were genuinely warm, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The resort itself is beautiful, with outstanding facilities, a great atmosphere, and everything impeccably maintained.
A special highlight was the kids' Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu lessons—they were an unexpected and wonderful activity, and our children absolutely loved them.
Overall, an unforgettable stay—we would happily return!
One suggestion for improvement would be to check the water pressure in the showers, as it was sometimes quite low. It would also be very convenient to have shower cabins at the hotel for guests who have checked out, similar to those at the Beach Club. Since many guests leave their luggage at the hotel before departing, having dedicated shower facilities there (for those that would enjoy the beach during the day and departure in the evening) would make the experience much more seamless and comfortable.

No house-reef - not ideal for snorkeling. However still grate access to Beautiful beaches

Beautiful Beaches: Clean, stunning beaches with soft white sand and picturesque views.
This isn't my first time visiting the Maldives for a vacation. In the past, I’ve stayed at less expensive resorts where I received far better service and amenities for several times.
If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives is NOT for you.
Instead of unwinding, you constantly feel like you are racing against time:
-No Buffet Options: There are no open buffets for lunch and dinner.
-Strict Dining Reservations: You must reserve tables in advance across the three islands. If you don't book early, reservations close. Worse, if you arrive a few minutes late, your reservation gets automatically canceled.
-Limited Menus: Lunch and dinner are à la carte, and nearly half the items on the menu are excluded from the Full Board or All-Inclusive plans, requiring extra charges.
Lack of Basic Hospitality & Management
Manual Housekeeping: Cleaning, towel replacement, and replenishing drinking water or coffee aren't done automatically. You have to request everything through their mobile app. When I'm on vacation, I don't want to spend my days placing orders and managing bookings on a phone—otherwise, what's the point of staying at a resort?
-Poor Wi-Fi: Internet speeds are extremely slow across most of the island and disconnect frequently. Trying to request a buggy from remote areas is almost impossible due to dead zones.
-Early Pool & Beach Closures: The swimming pool and beaches close as early as 6:00 PM.
-Chaotic Check-in & Departure: Unlike other resorts I've experienced, check-in was disorganized. There were no welcome cold water, cold towels, or music. Departure was equally stressful; we were delayed by 40 minutes past the scheduled departure time, making us dangerously late for the airport.
-Unreliable Buggy Service: Staff would promise a buggy in 15 minutes, but it routinely took over 30 minutes to arrive. The coordination is terrible—it feels like the hotel lacks unified management.

The Pools: The main swimming pool with the water slide was a massive hit with the kids, and we loved exploring all the different swimming spots around the property.
The Food: The dining options were fantastic. We had incredible meals at the iconic Hard Rock Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of other restaurants available on-site.
💖 The Incredible Staff (What Made It Extra Special)
While the island is beautiful, it was truly the staff who made our holiday unforgettable. If it wasn't for the warmth and hospitality of these people, we wouldn't have had such a spectacular time:

1-No privacy on the diamond water Vella and you feel like your neighbors is stares to you !!!!!.
2- no refreshing towels we you came to the reception.
3- you have to enter at 2:00 pm even you came early and you have to wait , management should increase the housekeeping team and give priority to who came early because he is coming from very long journey and he should enter as soon as possible.
4- Hard Rock Cafe dinner is very bad.
5- Ms Chnni gogada is not much professional with us .

The facilities and amenities were excellent. We especially appreciated the complimentary celebration prepared for my boys, including the lovely bed decoration and drinks. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our trip even more special.

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Es war einfach ein Traum! Schon beim Empfang wurden wir von unserer unglaublich netten und hilfsbereiten Zoey herzlich begrüßt. Sie erklärte uns alles ausführlich und fuhr mit uns sogar noch mit dem Buggy über die Insel, sodass wir uns sofort wohlfühlten.
Wir hatten das All-Inclusive-Paket und haben das Angebot in vollen Zügen genossen. Es stehen mehrere Restaurants zur Auswahl, die alle mit hervorragendem Essen überzeugen. Dank des kostenlosen Buggy-Services kommt man jederzeit bequem von A nach B. Die Cocktails und Getränke unterscheiden sich je nach Restaurant oder Bar zwar etwas, die Auswahl ist aber überall groß und abwechslungsreich.
Das gesamte Personal war während unseres Aufenthalts stets freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem.
Da wir außerhalb der Hauptsaison gereist sind, war es am Pool angenehm ruhig und sehr entspannt.
Das absolute Highlight war jedoch das Schnorchel-Paradies direkt am Strand vor unserem Zimmer. Bereits nach wenigen Metern im Wasser konnten wir zahlreiche bunte Fische und sogar harmlose Riffhaie beobachten. Besonders angenehm war, dass man als Erwachsener fast überall stehen kann – je nach Stelle reicht das Wasser etwa bis zum Bauch oder bis zum Hals.
Für uns war es ein unvergesslicher Urlaub – wir können dieses Resort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Отличный отель за свои деньги. Мы выбирали целенаправленно проживание с возможностью длительных прогулок по острову - а этот вариант позволяет делать это переходя с острова на остров, так как это, по сути, три острова, соединённых мостом.
Вкусные завтраки и разнообразные тематические ужины. Можно выбирать рестораны не только на своём острове, но и на соседнем и в другом отеле.
В номерах - кофемашина и отличный кофе, капсулы добавляют по мере использования и не жалеют. Сумка-шоппер тоже есть, что очень удобно.
Бесплатные велосипеды и багги, которые можно вызвать в любое время. Паром 25$ до Мале.
WiFi работал без проблем, но соединение терялось отходя от номера.
Совет - берите номер на первом этаже, выход сразу из номера на пляж дорогого стоит.
И учитывайте то, что пляж - мелкий и нырять не получится.
При входе в номер с пляжа не хватает воды для того чтобы смыть песок с ног. Из-за этого весь песок в номере, что доставляет дискомфорт...

Our stay at Hard Rock hit all the right notes. Reviewed Jul 5, 2026After a week from diving in Adora liveaboard, staying at Hard rock hotel for 4 days was a great decision. We enjoyed our beach front room with privacy, joined some of the activities in the pool, did a lot of cycling since bikes were available everywhere. Staff were great. Special mention to the Filipino executive chef, Ruben, who was so gracious to welcome us every time we dined. To Nuzral who kept our room spic and span. We will definitely go back here.
