There was only 1 toilet for 6 pax. Also, the hotel only provided 2 big towels and the rest small towels. To get extra big towels, we had to pay 1,000 won each. Further, the bathroom door lock cannot work well. Aircon control is also confusing. There are quite a number of eateries nearby.

Reviewed Apr 27, 2025대둔산 산행을 목적으로 한다면 이보다 더 좋은 호텔은 없을 듯. 우리나라 어떤 산 그천그에 있는 숙소보가 좋은 듯. 투숙객들에게 사우너 할인권을 주기에 산행을 마치고 사우나하고 오기에 너무 좋다. 직원분들도 정말 친절하시고 조식도 산행허기전에 간단히 하고 올라가면 정말 좋다.

Reviewed Apr 13, 2025잘쉬고왔어요. 온돌이라 아이랑 놀기 좋아료.조식이 괜찮고, 사우나도 깨끗하고 쾌적합니다. 앞에 축구장이 있어 아이랑 축구조 했어요. 대둔산케이블은 걸어서 약 3,4분인거같은데 강풍으로 휴업이네요

Reviewed May 17, 2024I wanted to hike Daedunsan early in the morning before the cable car operation started. So, I stayed at this hotel and it was the best decision ever. You're literally on the hiking trail! The whole way up I didn't see one person lol. And because check-out is at 12:00, I was able to rest comfortably after the hike as well. The rooms are super comfy and the hotel facilities include a coffee shop, sauna, and meeting room. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to use those. (PS: if you're coming from Daejeon by public transport, you'll have to walk approximately 30 minutes from the bus stop to the hotel entrance. No biggie if you're there for hiking)
I wish there was a convenience store there like you usually find in Korean hotels/resorts hah. It's better to bring everything you need (like shampoo, conditioner and body wash) because there's no CVS in the whole area. There are some delicious restaurants around, so you can buy hiking classics like gimbap and makgeolli.

Reviewed Oct 24, 2023We planned to arrive there in the evening, and went to Daedunsan in the next morning, so the location is excellent. It just next to the cable car. The rooms were big and clean, beds were comfortable. Staffs are nice and friendly. You can have half-price for their sauna.

Unfortunately although it looks the part and contains all the right ingredients, they don’t really work well together. Our dealings with Koreans have been universally great elsewhere, everybody seemed eager to please, but that wasn’t the impression we got from the receptionist or the restaurant. WiFi was hopelessly unreliable. I used cellular data instead, but it was slower in that area than in other places we stayed in. The bed was very firm and the bed sheet was ripped at the side. Breakfast was disappointing. We were led to believe that breakfast is cooked to order, but significant parts of both the Korean and American breakfasts seemed to have been kept warm for too long before being served. One glass of water was poured by the waiter, after that I needed to work out where in the dining room there was a jug of water so that I could help myself to a second glass. The waiter was hardly to be seen, even though there were no more than a tiny handful of other diners. In a sense, the hotel appeared to tick the right boxes, but their heart wasn’t in it and it just didn’t work like a hotel of that calibre should work. It has the potential to be a great hotel, but it delivered a sub-par experience with too many aspects not being good enough.

Reviewed Jul 30, 2023The Daedunsan Hotel was epic! Close to the cable car and very peaceful and atmospheric. The coffee shop served a delicious banana, strawberry shake and the best express coffee in Korea. The spa especially was fabulous. Clean, perfect and relaxing. I had the masssage/scrub with the lovely girl there and I left like I was travelling on a cloud of relaxation. I’ll be back.

The staff were very kind & helpful, and having the sauna in the basement for 4500 won (if you stay at the hotel) was the absolute best!!!! 50,000 won cash for a one hour scrub & massage at the sauna, just wish it was open later cause I wanted to go every night! Loved the sort of kitschy rock collection art in the lobby too, and loads of restaurants with local specialities within a minute’s walk.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2022완주 대둔산에 위치한 호텔이라~ 여름휴가 겸 가족여행을 갔습니다~~ 룸컨디션은 깨끗하며~ 청결해서 만족스러웠어요~~ 또 조식도 깔끔하고 맛이 좋았습니다~~ 그러나 직원들의 응대가 불친절하기보다는 융통성이 없는듯 보였고 특히 지하 사우나 아주머니 직원 한분은 호텔이용객에 대한 배려와 친절이 전혀 없어서 불쾌했습니다~ 무엇보다 직원들의 서비스 교육이 개선되었음 좋겠네요~

Reviewed Jun 20, 2022위치가 대둔산 케이블카 바로 앞이라 아주 좋았습니다. 이전 리뷰들 보니 먹을게 별로 없다는 말이 있었는데 호텔 주위에 걸어가서 먹은곳들 천지로 널렸습니다. 아래층 온천 사우나는 투숙객 할인받아 잘 사용했습니다. 방도 넓고 쾌적해서 상당히 만족했습니다.

Reviewed Jan 25, 2022객실청결도는 좋었으며 실내난방도 따뜻하고 외려 더워 환기를 시켰네요. 침대 메트리스는 다소 아쉬웠습니다. 직원들은 친절하고 아침식사도 가성비 좋았습니다. 호텔내 편의점등 룸서비스는 안되지만 호텔앞 작은 슈퍼가 있고 음식점들은 많습니다.

Reviewed Dec 10, 2021숙소는 아주 깔끔하고 좋았어요. 넓기도 했구요. 산 속 깊이 있는거 알고 들어간거라 거리도 나쁘지 않았는데.. 너무 추웠어요. 정말 온도를 아무리 높여도 그 언저리에서 더 올라가지 않더라구요. 프론트에 얘기해도 그게 다라고 하고.. 혹시 몰라 챙겨간 핫팩 다 꺼내서 몸 여기저기 넣고 잤네요. 난방 신경쓰셔야 될 것 같아요.

Reviewed Nov 14, 2021올 1월에 방문 시에는, 직원분들도 너무너무 친절하시고 조식 상태도 좋고, 조식 주시는 직원분도 너무 친절해서 좋았는데, 이번 방문 때는 직원분들 친절도도 그냥 그렇고 조식 준비해주시는 직원분이 특히 친절함이 없으셨어요. 배려를 바라는건 조금 웃기긴 하지만 1월과 비교 시에, 아이오면 아이용 수저포크도 먼저 준비해주시고 계란프라이 서비스도 말안했는데 주셨었는데, 이번에는 (계란프라이 서비스는 기대도 안했음) 수저포크 준비해달라 말씀드리고 아이가 "고맙습니다." 라고 말했는데 대꾸도 없이 그냥 가버리시더라구요. 조식 이용 손님이 두 테이블 뿐이었는데 조금 의아했어요. 양식 맛도 저번보다 떨어지고ㅜ 비수기때만 가야하나봐요. 호텔 전체적인 면은 그 가격대 정도합니다. 호텔 어디가나 건조함은 뭐 비슷해서, 룸 자체 컨디셔는 그럭저럭 했어요. 방음이 잘되어서 좋았고(단체 아재손님이 있었는데도 불구하고), 청결함은 보통이었어요.

Reviewed Oct 12, 2021자연경관속에 뭍혀있는 호텔이네요 대둔산케이블 타는곳도 바로 옆에 있어 편리하게 다녀왔네요 리모델링을 해서 매우 깨끗했구요 주변에 식당도 많아서 먹을거리 걱정도 안했네요 다만 룸 창문이 높아서 앉아서 밖의 뷰를 못봐서 아쉽네요 조식도 살짝 아쉽네요 입맛은 각자의 몫이겠지만요 커피는 매우 맛있어요 호텔스 덕분에 저렴하게 잘 다녀왔네요

Reviewed May 12, 2021방은 엄청 넓고 깨끗합니다. 요가 얇은 편이라 좀 불편했지만 시설은 깨끗하고 투숙객에게 제공되는 사우나 50%할인권도 좋았습니다

Reviewed Apr 16, 2021매우 편안하고 위생적인 호텔. 전 트윈베드룸 썼지만, 온돌방도 있어서 바닥에 온기있으니 좋더라구요. 어메니티도 딱 필요한 것만 갖춰져있고, 욕실 깨끗하고 물도 좋았습니다. 다음엔 온천도 이용해보고 싶어요

Reviewed Mar 15, 2021리모델링 해서인지 아주 깨끗하고 좋았어요. 다만 화장실에 욕조가 없다는점 창문이 넘 작아서 답답한 느낌이었고 주차장이 아주 오래전의 주차선이라서 옆차와의 간격이 넘 좁아 그게 흠이 었습니다. 직원 청결 기타는 좋았어요.

Reviewed Feb 20, 2021리모델링을 최근에 한 듯 전체적을 호텔 컨디션 훌륭합니다. 로비 분위기, 프런트 직원 친절하고 훌륭합니다. 사우나는 꼭 한 번 가보시면 좋을듯.. 청결하고 좋습니다. 케이클카까지는 5분남짓 가까우며, 35% 할인권 제공해줍니다. 아쉬운점: 객실 화장실에 비데가 설치되어 있지 않다는 점. 가성비 훌륭합니다.
