Four Points Resort - Anuradhapura

Helpful and considerate staff The staff at Four Points Resort were extremely helpful and considerate throughout our stay. When my elderly mother was unable to climb the stairs to the guest rooms, they kindly upgraded us to an available ground-floor room without us even having to request it. Peaceful and good-value accommodation I highly recommend Four Points Resort to anyone looking for accommodation in the Anuradhapura area, especially those seeking a peaceful and respectful stay. The property offers excellent value for money.

The pool and the location

The towels were so bad and unclean...unwashed. There were frogs in the wash room. Some mosquitoes in the room. The door couldn't be easily looked from outside.

This property is very uncleaned. On booking.com they have uploaded all good pictures but once you go there its a totally different picture. The rooms are so dirty. We expected two large double beds and one single bed. Instead they have combined two single beds together and another single bed as you enter. There was another bed on another corner but no one could sleep on this. The AC was put to 16 but still it was not cold enough. We had to turn on the fan as well when sleeping. There was only one AC in the room and the other bed which I mentioned earlier wasn't getting AC at all. It was really hot to sleep there. No fan even. The bedsheets and the pillow cases had stains on it. Didnt look clean at all. THe bathroom floor also had so much brown stains and around the commode had so much dirt. And the bathroom was smelly. Even the sink the tap everything wasn't cleaned properly. There were pictures hang on the wall and around them had cob webs as well. Also on booking.com page it says only 10 minutes to Sri Maha bodhiya where it took us more than 20 minutes to reach there. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff were incredibly amazing and went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was absolutely perfect because it was so close to nature, with beautiful greenery everywhere you looked. The room was also clean and the washrooms was also clean, making the whole stay feel comfortable and luxurious. We loved the food because everything we ordered was delicious and there were so many great options to choose from. The Wi-Fi was fast and perfectly reliable the whole time, which made it so easy to stay connected.

really liked the location and how easy it was to get to. There was plenty of parking available, which was very convenient. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay.

The doors and bathrooms felt a little dated and could benefit from some updating. I also felt that additional security measures would have made the stay feel more secure and comfortable.

The staff were outstanding and really looked after us well. The manager himself was present at all times to take care of our every need.

The entire hotel is kept to a very high standard of cleanliness, and the staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel for both short and long stays in Anuradhapura.

Few outside clients were very noisy at the pub area.

It was a nice place specialy with worm hospitality with very friendly staff including manager dasun. They tried with their best to meet the rrequirements expected. do not hesitate to recommend the place.Foods also delicious.

It was peaceful and closer to many historical sites I wanted to visit. It was a convenient location for me and my family.

The meals were a bit too pricey for what was provided. For reasonable price, you could get more business from customers like us.

The rooms are located too close to the reception and events hall. The early morning became noisy due to a wedding function arranged in the morning. The sleep thus can be disturbed depending on the date. They charge at their own rates despite the different rates displayed in booking.com.

Bathroom fittings require maintenance

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and main attractions, making it very convenient to get around. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an excellent location. I will surely come back on my next visit!

Excellent staff. Receptionists are really helpful. Supportive. Friendly. All the assistant staff as well. The breakfast buffet is marvellous and very tasty. The pool is also good.

I had a wonderful stay at four points resort in Anuradhapura.The atmosphere was peaceful & ideal for relaxation.The staff were extremely friendly & attentive, always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a memorable experience & I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Anurdhapura.

It’s a pleasant place near the town… Ideal location if you’re looking for a calm and quiet place with modern facilities. Comfortable and specious bed rooms. Staff members were very friendly and hospitality is great. Manager was a friendly person who takes care of the guests and attend to their needs. Overall a nice stay and enjoyable experience.

This is extremely dirty place to stay. Our bathrooms were not cleaned , there were no hand soaps and mold on the ceiling. There were dead cockroaches as well. Photos on Expedia are probably from when the hotel started. But, the condition is not like this anymore.

Propreté de la piscine, personnel sans expérience, trop nombreux et ne sachant pas s’organiser pour être à l’heure pour le petit déjeuner. Nappes de la veille salles redressées le lendemain. Personnel parlant difficilement l’anglais.

The hotel have engaged a new consultant to improve staff service. Throughout our stay we noted improvement in staff service as this consultant helped the staff.

De neef van de eigenaar heeft ons aller vriendelijkst geholpen en ons zelfs weg gebracht naar een volgende plek. Het exterieur van het hotel. Prachtige schilderingen.

Personeel spreekt geen Engels. War er op de menu kaart stond was niet verkrijgbaar. En de badkamer was ronduit smerig. Geen badlaken voor het zwembad en geen wifi.

Belle chambre spacieuse pour 5 (2 adultes et 3 enfants) avec 1 lit king, 1 lit queen et un lit simple. Salle de bain complete et propre. Belle piscine ombragée même si l'eau n'était pas tres limpide. Nous etions totalement seuls aussi bien au diner qu'au petit dejeuner ce qui nous a étonné etant donne la taille de la structure. Personnel très disponible. Le petit-déjeuner quoique complet et très ordinaire et pourrait être de meilleure qualité.

I like the location

staff is not cooperative. showers and other bathroom facilities are not up to the standards it's not worth of money they charged. I am disappointed

Tranquil location. Good breakfast.

Feels as if the owner has given up on the hotel. Staff was unhappy not very helpful and hand glum faces. Pool was mirky and the room AC was not adequate. Fans are broken and TV do not work.

Although the team were helpful the room wasn’t clean and my partner had doubts about whether the bedsheets had been changed. A bit grim to even thing about.

Located between Anuradhapura and Mihintalle makes this hotel to be an excellent option to visit important sites

It is a great hotel, food was fantastic. Swimmingpool is great, rooms are beautiful. Only the bathroom was a bit old and the beachchairs were broke, but there’s a lovely cemented bank you can sit on.

Stayed here on both ends of a Wilpattu National Park adventure. They hooked me up with an amazing guide and driver as well as transport back and forth to the park and also onward to Kandy. The pool was awesome and there were many birds behind the property. The manager was a very kind man and the staff was great. Room service was delicious as well.

This was an excellent stay. The food was great and the staff was helpful and absolutely charming.

Despite having a major function on one evening, the staff made sure our needs were not forgotten about and also arranged local transport for us whilst staying at the hotel and for our onward journey.The rooms were spacious and clean as was the swimming pool area.Thank you Ruane and your team for ensuring we had a great stay.
