El personal es excepcional, de las mejores atenciones que se pueden recibir en un hotel. El desayuno delicioso. Las habitaciones son espectaculares. La construcción es hermosa. El aseo es impecable.

A lo mejor podría tener un poco más de opciones para las comidas que no son el desayuno.

The setting was beautiful and relaxing. It was perfect for our first 2 nights in San Pedro - we wanted somewhere quieter to relax and acclimatize before moving to a more central hotel in San Pedro. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! Very tasty eggs and coffee. The room was beautiful. I really liked the library room which had coffee, water, tea, books and games. It was too cold to swim in August, but the pool area was a nice spot to hang out in. There isn't a restaurant but you can order food for lunch/dinner if you need to. Keep in mind that the hotel is out of town, and not really walkable. Taxis charge around 5,000CLP from town. We went back and forth between Lodge Quelana and Hotel Dessertica (where we stayed for the rest of our trip). Each hotel helped us book taxis.

This place is so bliss. Amazing location 10min drive from San Pedro de Atacama but you feel like you're properly in the countryside. Amazing views of the stars. We just got taxis everywhere ($5 each way) so didn't need a car despite the rural location. Paola was just incredible. Helped us with lots of little requests. Always so accommodating and prompt from taxi service to takeaway and other recommendations. The little communal "living room" is delightful with everything we needed. Loved our room - great size and decor. Massive and very comfy bed. Much better blinds than expected. Good temperature control options. Thoroughly recommend!!

Extremely disappointing experience. Both my girlfriend and I were bitten by bed bugs during our stay, but instead of taking our concerns seriously, the owner told us that we were exaggerating and refused to change our room. What was even more upsetting was the owner’s attitude afterwards. When my girlfriend was crying and extremely distressed because she had received terrible news from Italy during our trip, she used that emotional moment against us, claiming that we had caused a disturbance. It felt like an attempt to discredit us in front of Booking before we could report the bed bug issue. A serious accommodation problem was handled with a lack of empathy, professionalism, and responsibility. We strongly advise future guests to be cautious

La seule chose pas de machine à café dans chaque Lodge une salle commune est toutefois à disposition pour boire un café ou un verre Pas de table à repasser individuelle non plus Eau chaude très longue à venir dans les Lodges

Me gustó todo, muy atentas las niñas de la recepción y el desayuno, muy tranquilo y hermoso el lugar. Ideal para desconectarse por el entorno del lugar y el silencio. Nosotros rentamos un vehículo para movilizarnos pues no está ubicado en la misma cuidad.

We loved that we were outside San Pedro. It was quiet, stars looked fantastic, staff was extremely helpful just like having concierge. One could see view of vulcanos from the rooftop deck and the first cabin. We end up staying additional three days.

Excelente acomodação, limpo, quarto amplo e com boas roupas de cama. Ambiente tranquilo e muito charmoso. Excelente para fazer lindas fotos.

O único ponto negativo é que fica distante do centro e você precisa de um carro para se locomover.

Maravilhosa estadia, destaque especial para a simpatia da Maria José e da Nádia. Nádia é muito acolhedora e sempre nos recebia com sorrisos e comidinhas deliciosas no café!

Se cabe uma sugestão, melhoraria o blackout nas janelas, deixando mais escuros.

O quarto é lindo e a cama super confortável e o banheiro também é execelente. Chuveiro ótimo. Tudo bem decorado. O hotel é um charme. A recepcionista e a moça do café são uns amores, todos muito educados e prestativos. Se vc for sair mais cedo para algum passeio, tem a opção de pedir um Box de café da manhã que eles preparam para levarmos. Estávamos de carro então não achamos longe da Caracoles. Mas se for ficar a pé não dá p ir andando.

Não há o que não gostar . Apenas pouco distante da cidade o que dificulta o deslocamento já que táxis em alta temporada não é tão fácil de se conseguir . Se vc está fora de feriados brasileiros , não há problema com o deslocamento .

Espetacular do início ao fim. A Paola encantadora e muito solicita, nos deu suporte em tudo que precisávamos. A equipe da coxinha espetacular, Naya muito alegre, prestativa e atenciosa. Super recomendo.

Very nice facilities, very helpful lady at reception. She gave us a lot of advice re trips and got us a flask of cocoa tea to prevent altitude sickness Breakfast was very good and the lady who I think made the food and served it was lovely.

Personally I didnt like the location, it was a short drive from San Pedro and down an unmarked unlit track and very isolated. I found it a bit creepy.There were no staff overnight on reception. Shower didnt drain away :( I did mention this but it didnt improve during our stay.

Äußerst freundliches Personal, sehr schönes Zimmer mit privater Terrasse und sehr schönem Bad, insgesamt perfekt gepflegte Anlage (man hat den Eindruck, alles ist neu), eine der allerbesten Unterkünfte in unserer 3-monatigen Chile-Reise, liegt geringfügig (mit Auto ca. 5 Min.) außerhalb der "City", ist aber dafür perfekt ruhig und wenn man nach langen Ausflügen zurückkommt ist es wie eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannnung, sehr flexibel mit Frühstück (sehr gutes Paket für unterwegs, wenn man sehr früh startet), sehr schöner, gepflegter Pool und sehr schöne Gemeinschaftsbereiche!

Man kann NICHTS besser machen!!

Situated right on the outskirts of the city; although just a few minutes' drive away, it is remarkably quiet. At night, you can gaze up at a brilliant starry sky from the terrace of the main building or from the courtyard. The staff are incredibly friendly—especially Maria, who provided us with a lot of useful information and even helped us ordering dinner delivered to the hotel so we could enjoy the food and relax in the lovely library/living room at the main building. The breakfast is very delicious everyday. The freshly made coffee, omelette, scrambled eggs making us feel right at home. Highly recommend !

Beautifully maintained lodge, clean, comfortable and so relaxing after busy days exploring. It’s a quick drive from town and super quiet and felt very safe. The staff were phenomenal and made sure we had everything we needed - even updating us on what attractions were open each day. The pool and lounge area were also great! I am celiac and allergic to dairy and they went above and beyond to ensure I had breakfast and desert options. The breakfast they served each day was amazing! The minibar and laundry service were both very reasonably priced which we appreciated.

We loved everything! If I could request one change, it would be for them to offer dinner (perhaps on demand) in the cafeteria as the food was so good!

O hotel é lindo, muito confortável, bem decorado, com ambientes agradáveis, funcionários atenciosos e um café da manhã bem gostoso e bem servido.

O hotel fica mais afastado do centro, onde estão a maioria dos restaurantes e serviços, e principalmente em alta temporada não é tão simples conseguir transporte com facilidade.

Café da manhã variado e preparado com cuidado, quando há passeios muito cedo eles deixam pronta uma marmitinha para levar. Equipe adorável e muito prestativa. Quarto super confortável, hotel silencioso. Tudo muito organizado e sem complicações.

Poderiam ter um melhor serviço de wi fi, que só está disponível em uma sala de uso comum. O chuveiro demorava um pouco para esquentar, gerando um certo desperdício de água, que é escassa na região.

Lodge Quelana is a true oasis of peace just outside San Pedro de Atacama. Beautifully designed in a local style, very tasteful and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is calm and grounding, a perfect place to slow down and rest after exploring the desert. What truly makes this place special is the hospitality. The team is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always helpful and caring.

Todos os funcionários são muito prestativos e simpáticos! O café da manhã é excelente! As instalações (quarto, cama, banheiro/chuveiro, ar condicionado) são muito boas e funcionam muito bem! Além disso, os funcionários do hotel são muito cuidadosos: quando o passeio dentro do deserto é muito cedo, eles mandam uma mensagem perguntando se não quer que preparem um café da manhã no dia anterior pra levar pro passeio, porque o café no hotel começa por volta de 08:00. Adoramos a estadia e recomendaremos pra outros amigos que quiserem ir ao Atacama!

A distância do centro de San Pedro do Atacama. Mas isso é muito contornável, porque o próprio pessoal do hotel solicita um táxi para os hóspedes, e em dezembro/2025 está saindo por cerca de CLP 6000 cada corrida.

Hard to find from the highway - limited signage.

A infraestrutura é excelente e o atendimento de toda a equipe é acima do esperado. A atenção dada pela Naia, responsável pelo café da manhã foi surpreendente. Recomendo para quem busca conforto e tranquilidade. O hotel disponibiliza um telescópio para os hóspedes, por ficar afastado do centro, o céu pode ser visto sem que as luzes atrapalhem.

Gostamos de tudo, o único inconveniente pode ser para pessoas sem veículo, devido a distância da cidade. Por outro lado, recomendo o aluguel de veículo para visitar o Atacama devido a maior autonomia.

Nuestra estancia en Lodge Quelana fue excelente. El hotel está ubicado a unos minutos en coche de San Pedro (aprox. 5 minutos), lo que lo convierte en un lugar perfecto si buscas tranquilidad, privacidad e intimidad. Además, cuenta con parking, algo muy cómodo para quienes se mueven en vehículo. Queremos destacar especialmente la amabilidad de la recepcionista, Paola, y la calidez de todo el personal. El desayuno merece mención aparte: sin duda, uno de los mejores que hemos probado. El servicio de té y café es impecable; preparan lo que necesites con una atención llena de cariño. El café estaba delicioso, algo poco habitual en los buffets. La parte dulce cambiaba cada día y era casera, y la parte salada era variada y de muy buena calidad. Mucha fruta fresca y riquísima. Incluso, un día que teníamos un tour muy temprano, nos prepararon un desayuno para llevar súper completo. Las habitaciones, con baño privado, están separadas entre sí, lo que garantiza privacidad absoluta y silencio total: no se oye nada de otros huéspedes. Las zonas comunes también están muy bien cuidadas, y es un detalle que puedas servirte café, té o agua cuando quieras. Además, cada día dejan una botella de agua potable en la habitación y un detalle de despedida al final de la estancia. La experiencia ha sido maravillosa. Recomendamos totalmente Lodge Quelana y, si volvemos a San Pedro de Atacama (¡esperamos que sí!), sin duda escogeremos este hotel de nuevo.

Como único punto a mejorar, comentaría que las puertas del baño y de la ducha no se mantenían cerradas, lo que hacía su uso un poco incómodo. También sería útil considerar la instalación de mosquiteras en las ventanas, ya que era necesario ventilar la habitación, pero al hacerlo entraban algunos insectos. Son detalles menores, pero que podrían hacer la experiencia aún mejor.

Tudo muito limpo e organizado, hotel muito lindo. A equipe que nos recebe é muito atenciosa e prestativa, sempre procuram nos atender prontamente.

A localização é longe do centro, o que dificulta um pouco para quem está fazendo muitos passeios. Mas o staff do hotel nos ajudou todas as vezes que precisamos pedir um táxi, o que facilitou muito.

No hay nada que no me gustará

A really lovely little hotel in a quiet rural location just out of town. The best bit was that the staff were SO friendly and helpful, always smiling, and they went over and above to help us get the most from our stay. They were especially helpful when we had problems booking tickets for the tourist attractions around San Pedro. The breakfast was delicious, all home made, cakes, breads and yoghurts, fresh coffee and freshly cooked omelettes or eggs. The rural location was perfect, a lovely garden, pool, and the rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated in the local style. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Everything was wonderful!

Além do ambiente lindo e super bem cuidado, o destaque é o atendimento. Desde a recepção até o café da manhã (Naya), funcionários atenciosos e que demonstram preocupação em fazer o hóspede se sentir bem. Hotel afastado do centro, porém de fácil acesso a taxis ou mesmo uber. O sonho de apreciar o céu do atacama acompanhada de uma taça de vinho se realizou.

The dogs. Barking incessantly, every night. The owners were ineffective at making the problem go away, and tried to gaslight me by saying no one had ever complained about it before. They were literally outside the gates. Isolated location requiring a taxi to go anywhere. You'll pay more for the taxi ride to dinner each night than you will for dinner. Desk staff speak fluent English but are very unhelpful with ensuring safe and timely transportation to the airport in Calama. I ended up having to take a $100 taxi to the airport because I had an early flight and no one would help me get there in a timely manner. They also referred me to Transvip multiple times even though I repeatedly told them Transvip has terrible service and refuses to speak English.

Magnifico Lodge! Personale attento e professionale. La signora che preparava le colazioni è davvero una brava persona, gentile, simpatica e molto disponibile. Anche la signora della reception ci ha aiutato molto e, sapendoci in giro con l'auto, ci ha anche avvisato con un messaggio di whatsapp dell'arrivo di una tempesta di sabbia (grazie ancora!). Il lodge è bello, confortevole, arredato con gusto, molto pulito.

There are two things that stand out- the facilities and the staff. Our room was very well appointed, clean, and energy efficient. Everything worked, and we were lacking nothing. Similarly, all of the common areas were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast room is cozy and bright. The breakfast is great. The entire place has a consistent, harmonious theme. Well designed, well made, and well maintained. But maybe the best aspect is the staff. Everyone was warm and friendly. They were patient with my Spanish (and no doubt, they speak beautiful English too). They offered great restaurant suggestions, and always asked about our activities for the day to help plan for our needs, like packing a "to go" breakfast or lunch. The staff are just genuine and service oriented, always one step ahead. I highly recommend Lodge Quelana.

Nothing. We liked everything! Just be aware, if you are without a car, the lodge is located about an hour walk outside of SPdA. But they can refer a taxi service for you that is cheap and friendly. We even walked it several times and enjoyed the walk (on a small road off the main road), but undoubtedly the feasibility of the walk depends on the season and temps.

It has a very refined luxurious yet authentic feel to it. Impressive attention to detail.

This is a lovely retreat. Each room is an individual cabana. The decor in the room was beautiful, and the landscaping of the grounds is wonderful. The staff was extremely gracious. I used this as a base to explore the area for 3 days and it was perfect. I had a rental car and explored on my own without booking any tours. It was easy and safe. A perfect trip. I will do it again soon.

Lodge Quelana is a beautiful place to stay. It's outside if town, so you have the opportunity to see the clear night skies from their observation deck. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast had a great variety. To get into town, you need to drive, but the peace and quiet is worth it. After all, the town is not why you would come to the area; it's the landscape and the stargazing.

Staff: super professional and attentive. Many thanks to Paola, Marcia and Nadja (from the breakfast service) who made our stay much more nice. Room: spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean. Bathroom: shower is very relaxing, with high pressure hot water. Breakfast: Very tasty and had a good selection of items (my wife is lactose intolerant and they were able to provide lactose-free milk and yogurt upon request). It starts at 7:30am, but if you are heading out early to visit the sights, just let the staff know the day before and they will provide you with a bag with some breakfast items. Parking: you can park your car with no extra cost. Location: it is about 4km from downtown so you can reach Quelana by driving along Ruta 23 or with with a shuttle service. It would be great to have more signs on the road indicating where Quelana is. Check out is at 12pm but we planned to leave the city after 8pm, as we were going to visit the Altiplanic Lagoons, so our luggage was left in a locker. We came back to Quelana Lodge about 7pm and showered in a bathroom (very clean) next to the pool. All at no additional cost. We would definitely stay at Quelana again!

O lodge quelana é incrível, exatamente como nas fotos da propriedade. Fomos de carro de calama até o hotel (melhor forma de conhecer o atacama). Tem um estacionamento amplo, os quartos são confortáveis e com ar condicionado/aquecedor - que faz toda diferença - pois durante o dia faz bastante calor e a noite bastante frio e eventualmente você ficará no hotel durante o dia após algum passeio na madrugada. Tudo estava muito limpo e o café da manhã é muito bom, a equipe do hotel é extremamente cordial e simpática, sempre com um sorriso no rosto e disposta a ajudar. A localização é um pouquinho depois de san pedro de atacama (vindo de calama), coisa de 4 minutos de carro, o que dá mais um ponto positivo para o local: silêncio e baixa poluição da luninosidade.
