Quizás por ser una casa en más de 100 años, propio de las edificaciones de Pto. Montt (es lo que buscábamos), tenía un aroma a los años, que en absoluto le quita méritos.

El lugar es algo ruidoso y no muy bueno para descansar. La gente utiliza una sala justo fuera de la habitación, haciendo ruido y conversando entre ellos. La escalera también sonaba bastante. Por otro lado, había bastantes pelos en el lavamanos de la habitación, mostrando que no se hizo la limpieza de manera adecuada.

Reviewed Apr 23, 2026Les hôtes sont adorables et plein d attention. Ils etaient très dévoués. Nous avons eu un super petit déjeuner. Le chat Joaquim est adorable. À 10 minutes à pied du terminus des bus et de la Gare.
La vétusté des lieux. La cheesy très petite pas de place pour les valises. Peut d’eau chaude et surtout pas de chauffage. Nous avons eu froid. La cuisine est très sommaire. L hôtel est très vieux et pourtant assez cher en comparaison des autres hôtels. Les rideaux des fenêtres ne sont pas occultant et il y à beaucoup de bruit du aux trafics. Vraiment très déçu par la qualité de l hébergement. Mais les personnes sont très gentilles.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Un Hostal sumamente acogedor, buena habitación, ubicación central a minutos del terminal de buses. La recepción de Don Eladio y Gloria impecable, nos dieron buenos datos para conocer la ciudad y alrededores. Además un desayuno muy completo por la mañana se agradece mucho!!
Todo era adecuado en el hostal. Buenas habitaciones, buen servicio y buena ubicación!

C'est à 10 min à pied du terminal de bus et du front de mer et à peine plus du petit port d'Angelmo 2/ la maison ancienne, vraiment ds son jus. 3/ la gentillesse discrète des propriétaires. Si vous jouez aux échecs, Eladio vous proposera de pousser du bois... 4/ le prix. Puerto Montt est une ville chère pour dormir. 5/ possibilité (modeste) de cuisiner sur place
Ce serait mieux s'il y avait un panneau sur la porte signalant qu'on est bien devant l'hostal Patrimonial Angelmo. Parce que vu l'environnement peu avenant, on aimerait être rassuré. Ne pas hésiter à demander aux propriétaires de monter (ou de démarrer) le chauffage... La rue est assez bruyante, et l'isolation..."patrimoniale"...

It is a very charming and clean place, the room was spaceful, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast (extra payment) was delicious. It is close to the bus station and town centre, but be aware if you plan to walk with large luggage, it is a bit uphill. The owners agreed to keep our luggage for a day so we could spend the nice time in the town before our bus departure.
The noisy street can disturb sleeping a bit - ear plugs advised.

It was not far to walk into town plus I visited the Angelmo fish market. The hostal is owned by a lovely couple. Had an interesting breakfast on my own with the Christmas tree that was still up in early February! Had an excellent meal in a nearby local restaurant called Cirus Bar.
