La struttura è dotata di tutti i confort possibili. Belle le piscine e comoda la barca privata per attraversare il fiume. Vista top dai piani alti. Camera con vetrata bella e letto comodo.

Per me la struttura è a tratti fatiscente. Si vede che le cose sono datate e per 5 stelle non è accettabile. La vasca da bagno era tutta segnata e la doccia non stava su dritta bisognava tenerla con le mani. Moquette in camera color marrone, sembrava un po appiccicosa.

The breakfast was good; however, the layout of the food stations was not very clear. Some sections were located in different areas of the Breakfast dining hall, and there were no signs to guide guests or indicate that additional breakfast options were available elsewhere.

Very good breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was excellent with an amazing view over the river. Nice pools, also for kids.

The breakfast restaurant is too small for the number of guests in the hotel. Sometimes we had to line up and wait until a table was available. I would not expact that from a five star location.

This hotel is brilliantly located, being on the riverside in Bangrak. Talat Noi is a 5 minute stroll away and the hotel has its own shuttle boat to Icon Siam. The staff at the club lounge are especially kind and welcoming and treat everyone like royalty. There are 2 beautiful swimming pools - a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing or shopping. Breakfast is consistently delicious with a wide range. It’s unusual to find a hotel which is so consistently excellent, with so many thoughtful touches. Everyone works so hard here to make it special from the doorman to the chambermaids & chefs. We always have a wonderful time and can’t wait to return. Thank you Xx

We (Papa and two sons, 15 and 11) had an excellent 2-night stay here in August. We've been coming here for several years, and are always impressed by the hotel. It has a beautiful view over the Chao Phraya River: Both our room and the executive lounge had fantastic views. The food and drinks are excellent. The swimming pool is great. The boat is great fun. The staff are wonderful! Strongly recommended!

La chambre était très agréable et la vue magnifique. Les piscines étaient super. Nous avions pris l'option petit déjeuner et dîner, et avons très bien mangé tout au long de notre séjour.

Seul bémol la douche dont la température n'était pas constante, passant parfois de brûlante à froide.

Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid, de locatie aan de Riverside met eigen shuttleservice is erg praktisch, de bar heeft een leuke sfeer met regelmatig een bandje, het zwembad boven is erg fijn.

De TV heeft geen streamingdienst mogelijkheden (Netflix, Prime oid). Het hotel en kamers zijn inmiddels wat verouderd.

Der Teppich in den Fluren und in den Zimmern ist auch nicht mehr zu reinigen. Die Milben haben komplett den Boden zerstört das ist schon gesundheitsschädigend. Alles deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Auch die Abwicklung mit Kreditkarten nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Es wird also ein Betrag von der Kreditkarte komplett abgebucht und nach einem Monat mit Abzug des aktuellen Wechselkurses zurückgezahlt. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis steht in keinem Verhältnis mehr. Wir sind zweimal im Jahr in Bangkok und und wissen, dass es deutlich bessere Hotels in der Stadt für diesen Preis gibt

The double beds are really small. They dont really fit two adults which is a pity as they say two double beds and 4 person room. The breakfast was good but the room where you eat was terrible. It was super chaotic, loud, bad acoustic. Not relaxing at all.

Hoewel een veel en veel te druk bezet en te duur hotel, maar wel op een prachtige locatie. Qua uitzicht over de rivier met zijn tientallen bootjes, valt dit hotel bijna niet te overtreffen. Hetzelfde geldt voor het personeel. Iedereen is zonder uitzondering uitermate vriendelijk. De mensen die bij het ontbijt helpen, werken onvoorstelbaar hard. Dat mag het hotel wel zeer waarderen! Dit was de reden dat we hier opnieuw hebben geboekt.

Wij waren ook vorig jaar in dit hotel en schreven toen eveneens een review. Dezelfde minpunten van toen waren ook nu weer van toepassing. Het hotel is echt veel en veel en veel te druk bezet. Dat is door het hele hotel heen zichtbaar. Zo staan er 's-morgens wachtrijen voordat je kunt ontbijten. De ontbijtruimte zelf, bestaat daarnaast uit twee ongelijke vloerdelen. Je moet steeds de daartussen gelegen trap gebruiken. Sowieso niet handig en heel lastig voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Deze hele situatie valt alleen dan te verbeteren door minder kamers te verhuren. Hoewel het hotel over twee zwembaden beschikt, liggen die pal in de zon (schaduw is beter tegen het verbranden) en 1 ervan is slechts per houten trappetje bereikbaar. Verder moet de douche in een relatief klein bad worden gebruikt, dus er is geen aparte doucheruimte. De nogal kleine kamers zijn aan renovatie toe en ruiken muf. We zijn van kamer veranderd, maar daar was het hetzelfde. Beschadigd meubilair. Het is een veel te duur hotel. Voor deze overnachtingsprijzen zijn er in de directe omgeving veel voordeligere hotels te vinden.

The location is great, friendly people, big hotel, 2 swimmingpools, right next to the ferry point, hotel ferry to Iconsiam.

The rooms were spacious but maybe a bit dated.

It is of course a large, relatively anonymous hotel complex.

The breakfast was good. But I ask about 10 level it was level 6

Everything is perfect. Even the staff constantly remembered my name. Keep it going! The pools, the views, food, breakfast everything is top notch

位置得好。每30一班接駁船往返ICONSIAM，商場內應有盡有（貴價品牌、平價衣服首飾、地攤食物）。商場外有大量平價按摩店。 酒店附有7-11，7-11旁邊就是bus tour的上車位置。 酒店內有let’s relax，按摩後可隨即回房間休息，十分方便。 酒店內意大利餐廳平靚正。

房內冷氣機很嘈、燈光比較暗、花灑供水很弱以及有出現忽冷忽熱的情況。

Расположение отеля просто потрясающее, если у вас всего пара дней в Бангкоке то рекомендую! От отеля ходит лодка, всего у неё 3 остановки, от отеля до ТЦ IconSiam, и до станции метро возле моста (неподалеку от моста мы покупали фрукты чтобы увезти домой, цены раза в 2 ниже чем в других местах, посмотрите точку с фруктами на гугл картах). Завтраки и ужины замечательные, все вкусно и разнообразно (на ужинах напитки платные). Мы останавливались в номере с 2 кроватями вчетвером (2 взрослых и 2 детей), переживала что кровать будет очень узкой для двоих, т.к. она меньше чем стандартные 160 см., но было вполне нормально.

По соотношению цена/качество/ расположение это оптимальный вариант. Я бы вернулась сюда снова.

Die Lage war super. Eigener Shuttle Boot Service zur Iconsiam. Von da aus oder direkt neben dem Hotel gab es die Möglichkeit in die urban oder citylane Hop on Hop off boat zu steigen und alles zu erkunden. Die Zimmer waren schön, groß und sauber. Der Blick auf dem Fluss war grandios.

Teppich im Hotelzimmer, dies finden wir immer unhygienisch aber mit schlappen ist das dann in Ordnung.

Bar and restaurants are expensive for thailand using European prices although they do have happy hour on the pool bar. Air con in the room a little noisy but works really well!

Het was een beetje een onverwachts ‘cadeautje’ in onze reis waarvan we allemaal heerlijk genoten hebben. Even in de luxe relaxen. Ze hebben een mooi zwembad in the garden en we hadden een uitzicht waar je u tegen zegt. Echt heel mooi en bijzonder. We keken uit op de rivier. We hebben ook heerlijk geslapen op een fijne matras. Daar waar we tot dan toe eigenlijk alleen op hele harde matrassen hadden geslapen. We hebben in de straat buiten het hotel, eigenlijk er schuin tegenover ook heeeerlijk op straat gegeten! We waren ook net op tijd, want het was er overvol.

Het was een prijzige nacht wat maakt dat we extra genoten hebben en het niet voor iedereen vanzelfsprekend is om hier veel nachten achter elkaar te verblijven.

Very good Riverside view, easy to move around using the boats, avoiding all the traffic at the peak hours. The staff at reception and buffet restaurants were very professional and helpful.

Having just had the pleasure of staying at the Royal Orchid by Sheraton, on the banks of ChaoPraya River, Bangkok, it is a pleasure to not only give a five star review of our stay, but also to compliment the hotel on the excellent service provided at the Executive Club on the 27th level overlooking the river, and in particular the excellent attention provided by Phatchathakorn and Bunyan (Trainee) who always went out of their way to ensure my husband and I had a pleasant experience. They were excellent and are a credit to the hotel. Hotel is very close to Chinatown and just across the river from IconSiam modern shopping complex. All in all, a great stay and we will certainly return.

Me and my Wife visited this hotel for the city leg of our Thailand trip and used it as our base to tick off the main tourist attractions in Bangkok. We stayed for 5 nights on a bed and breakfast basis as we planned to eat out every day so there was no need to include meals. The location of the hotel was a 30-minute walk south of China Town and it was on the banks of the Chao Phraya River with excellent views of the city. The only downside of this location was that it was a 15-minute walk north to the Metro Blue Line and south to the Green Line. However, being on the riverside, the Chao Phraya Express Boat pier was right outside the hotel, and they offered a free shuttle boat to the Saphan Taksin station (Green line). The room we went for was the Deluxe Guest Room which had river views which paid dividends in the morning when the sun rose. The room was spacious with all the modern touches of a 5-star hotel, and what you see on the website is what you get. The service staff cleaned the room every day, and it was very tidy so I cannot pick a fault. As we were not planning to use the room that much due to spending all day and evening out in Bangkok sightseeing it was perfect for that purpose. The food and drink on offer were excellent, with the breakfast buffet being one of the best we have ever had. There were eastern and western cuisine offerings with a spacious dining hall. Freshly made dishes were available, and if you wanted it, there was local fare section which changed daily. For us, this was spot on as we were able to have a decent breakfast before venturing out and needing to search for somewhere good in the mornings. The service was fantastic, when people talk about Thai hospitality being the best in the world, the staff here proved it. They did not put a foot wrong and made you feel welcome, were always polite, and offered help whenever you needed it. Overall, I loved this hotel but only wished it were closer the metro stations, but they did offer a shuttle boat service. That aside, I would recommend this hotel, and it would be wise to get breakfast included. I only wish we had more time so we could use the pools, have an evening meal there, and just enjoyed the other activities that the hotel organise. A magnificent 5-star hotel, and worth the money!!!!

It is always a true pleasure to return to the Sheraton Royal Orchid Riverside Hotel in Bangkok. Every stay reminds me why this property remains one of my absolute favourites. For me, this hotel enjoys the finest location in Bangkok. Although it is perfectly situated in the heart of the city, it offers a remarkably peaceful atmosphere on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. The beautiful tropical gardens and magnificent swimming pool make you forget that you are in one of the world’s busiest and most vibrant capitals. The unique hotel having 2 outdoor pools One of the hotel’s most unique features is its visionary architecture. When it was designed in the 1980s, the architect had the brilliant idea of orienting every guest room towards the river, allowing each room to enjoy a truly spectacular view. This design that still feels exceptional today. Another reason I continue to choose this hotel year after year is the outstanding professionalism of every member of the team. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. This year, I had the pleasure of meeting the new General Manager, Mr. Kristian Petersen. He is an exceptional leader who personally takes the time to meet guests, making sure they are comfortable and enjoying their stay. His genuine warmth, accessibility, and attention to detail are truly remarkable. It is easy to understand why every department delivers such an exceptional level of service: Mr. Petersen leads by example. For anyone planning a stay, I highly recommend booking an Executive Suite. They are wonderfully spacious, beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable, and include access to the Executive Lounge. The suites located on the higher floors offer truly breathtaking views, both during the day and after nightfall. It is always with great pleasure that I find myself lingering a little longer in my suite, simply taking the time to admire this truly spectacular panorama. As someone who travels extensively around the world, I can honestly say that the Executive Lounge at the Sheraton Royal Orchid ranks among the very best I have experienced. The breakfast selection is excellent, while the evening Happy Hour offers an outstanding variety of delicious dishes and premium beverages, all beautifully prepared and presented by the talented culinary team. I also had the pleasure of meeting the Executive Chef, Mr. Marco Cammarata His extensive experience is immediately evident, but what impressed me even more was his genuine dedication to his guests. He regularly visits the restaurants to ensure everyone is enjoying their dining experience and is always happy to ask whether he can prepare something special. His passion for excellence is reflected in every meal. I strongly recommend dining at Giorgio Restaurant , where authentic Italian cuisine is prepared using high-quality ingredients imported directly from Italy. I've been a regular returning guest at the hotel for over 35 years, many visits with my wife, and have always been happy with the expereince, so nswering individual questions on facilities, etc., shouldn't be necessary. And for quite a number of those years one person, Khun Nimit, has stood out and has always helped make stays more enjoyable.

We have never stayed in a hotel that was so worn-out and dirty—especially at that price point. We booked Deluxe rooms, as this was a work-related trip. The three rooms we were given had absolutely nothing "Deluxe" about them! I have visited Thailand 70 times for work and have never received such poor treatment before. There was no welcome drink or wet towel to freshen up with. No welcome fruit in the rooms. No minibar. We had booked adjoining rooms but didn't get them after all, because we had requested two single beds in one of the rooms. The rooms were filthy and in really bad condition—please see the photos. The hallways were even worse. We were moved to Superior rooms; the only difference was that they were located on a higher floor. And now the rooms weren't next to each other, so I had to sleep alone, while our children had to sleep with their mother, as they were afraid to stay that far away from us. The air conditioning didn't work properly; if you turned it down to 23, it would be back at 24 by the time you woke up. Then, one morning, I was woken up by someone coming to check the technical equipment in another room. The pool was filthy—see photos. And the waiters couldn't be bothered to clear away glasses left by previous guests until we asked them to. The internet connection was very poor, so I couldn't access the remote connection for my company PC to get any work done. I’ve since stayed at two other hotels without issues, so the problem clearly lies with them. We kept mentioning these issues to the reception staff, and suddenly a fruit basket and an apology letter appeared in the room. That didn't really help us much, though, since we could get all the free fruit we wanted at breakfast. We certainly expected better bathroom amenities, given that it is 2026; yet, there was only a single body cream provided for the entire duration of our stay, even though there were several of us sharing the rooms.

So, we decided against it. 4,000 baht means nothing to us; we would rather warn everyone else not to stay at this hotel.

Royal Orchid Riverside is our hotel of choice when in Bangkok and have been coming here for the last 15 years. Service is still outstanding and the rooms very well appointed, spacious and comfortable. Lovely view over the river. The pool areas are relaxing, especially the larger one overlooking the river) and plenty of sun loungers available. The food in Thara Thong is still of exceptional standard. Enjoyed the shuttle boat to ICON Siam. We arrived very early after an overnight flight, and early check-in was arranged which was greatly appreciated.

The property is starting to look a little tired. Some items in our room were broken (eg bed lamp; shower door didn’t close properly).

It would be good to accommodate an early check-in without having to pay extra.

Uitstekend ontbijt, mooie locatie aan de rivier. Bedden top, dichtbij veel toeristische attracties. Mooi zwembad. Service fijn. Zeer vriendelijk en klantgericht.

Eigenlijk niets…. Behalve dat de kamers en zwembad beetje renovatie mogen gebruiken maar dat is dan ook werkelijk het enige. Laat je niet hierdoor weerhouden.

This is my favorite Hotel in Bangkok where always I receive a Great treatment, those employees made my stay unforgettable; Club Lounge: Noey, Nana and Oat they doing a Fantastic job; Nimit so attentive; Thanks to the Sub Chef Boat and Chef Marco for be in all the details.

Location in riverside

The rooms are a bit tired but still comfortable. Shower over bath is not good.

Tout, super emplacement, excellent petit déjeuner, vue magnifique. Le service de bateau est parfait pour partir a l'exploration de la ville (rejoindre le BTS), il y a un pier public a côté, et les rues a proximité ont de super salons de massage et des petits restaurants délicieux.

Le concierge qui tire la gueule tout le séjour car il n'a pas eu son pourboire à notre arrivée (pas encore eu le temps de changer de l'argent). Heureusement 0 impact sur notre séjour, voire même nous éviter une attitude too much.

Schitterend hotel en toplocatie, je bent met het pontje met 5 minuten bij ICONSIAM. Ook rondom het hotel kunnen prettig lopen met kinderen, ook ‘s avonds. Op de vertrekdag hebben we medische begeleiding gehad en facilitatie van een ziekenhuisbezoek. Heel fijn, discreet en dienstbaar naar de kinderen.

Room was stinking as it has very old carpet

Super emplacement , très jolie piscine et jolie vue sur la rivière depuis la chambre . Le personnel est très bien .le petit déjeuner buffet très bon .

Les chambres sont anciennes et méritent un petit rafraîchissement , et la surface est petite pour une chambre de 4 ( comparé à d’autres hôtels à Bangkok ) . Pour un 5 étoiles c’est pas vraiment à la hauteur de ce que certains clients attendent .

The view of the river especially at night time is amazing. Having interconnected rooms was a bonus for our family.

We had to ask for an armchair to be placed in the room. There was no footstool. Was one to sit on the carpet and watch the river?

Very clean everywhere. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. If you want to be just far enough away from the main attractions and grab a tuk tuk for £6-8 then this place is perfect. The breakfast was also fantastic.

There’s a reason that no one is sat in the bars and very few are in the restaurants; the prices are outrageous! Around the corner is the Riverside pier with restaurants less than half the price and if you want to eat traditional, there’s a street food option right outside the front door which is extremely good and so much cheaper!

Nella camera non era possibile aprire le finestre, c era moltissima umidità e la camera molto piccola per 4 persone . La pulizia lasciava un po desiderare.

Another amazing stay at the Royal Orchid. This hotel consistently goes over and above at recognising loyalty status and this stay was no different. The airport transfers were efficient and comfortable, early check in was available and the suite I was given was very clean and comfortable. As always the hotel management team including the General Manager are constantly visible and walking round the hotel interacting with guests - every day at least one member of the senior management team is in the Club Lounge for a period of time speaking to guests. The club lounge on the 27th floor has evening cocktails and a buffet for elite members or guests staying in club rooms from 6-8pm and the lounge staff (as with all staff in the hotel) are friendly, always smiling and always go the extra mile. The hotel has the perfect location being on the river with a half hourly boat service to the mall opposite and to the pier that connects to public transport and there are always plenty of taxis and tuk tuks outside. The hotel has 2 pools and the lower level garden pool has a swim up bar. If you are in Bangkok, whether it be for a couple nights or a longer stay then this hotel has everything you need and is well worth staying at.
