Reviewed Sep 15, 2026Super Lage für einen Besuch in Zürich. Wir buchten das Dachzimmer mit Terrasse und Klimaanlage. Im Sommer ein muss. Sie Aussicht von der Terrasse ist sensationell (Limmat, Fraumünster, Berge, Altstadt). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir buchten das Zimmer ohne Frühstück, denn es gibt gute Cafés gleich um die Ecke und Starbucks ist nur 3 Gehminuten entfernt. Ich habe schon wieder gebucht.
Das moderne Badezimmer (Dusche/WC) ist extrem klein. Grosse und schwere Personen können sich wahrscheinlich kaum darin bewegen. Der Fernseher ist auch extrem klein und die Programmauswahl äusserst dürftig. Er ist auch nicht streaming ready. Sollte heutzutage eigentlich Standard sein.

Reviewed Sep 14, 2026The warmth of the people who welcomed me upon my arrival. And the bedsheets were super comfortable. Also a big plus for me Was the fact that they let me check in two hours earlier without any additional cost.
Nothing I didn’t like. Maybe my room had a quite small bathroom which is okay but when taking the shower the whole floor was wet. Maybe a sliding shower wall would be fantastic.

Aerul conditionat este zgomotos si cam ineficient. Pentru o persoana in zona biroului este ok. In pat nu se simte ca ar face vreo diferenta iar noaptea nu poti dormi din cauza zgomotului produs de acesta. La dus, trebuie lasat prosopul de picioare pe post de dig impotriva apei pentru a evita ca aceasta sa nu ajunga in camera.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Great location and very friendly staff. Did not use any of the extra facilities or breakfast. Room overall is clean and functional. Parking is a 10-15min walk away in a garage that is open to the public (hotel has a slightly reduced fee) Stayed during one of Europe's heatwaves this summer and there is no AC in the room - you can open a window.
Room is starting to show signs of age. The bathroom particularly so, had some loose panelling and tiling for example. The double bed is really two single mattresses (relatively common in Switzerland) which may be annoying for some. On weekends there is a bit of noise out onto the street but this is to be expected give the very central location.

Colazione appena sufficiente. Come molte strutture in Svizzera, manca l'aria condizionata in quasi tutte le stanze e ormai, con il riscaldamento globale in corso, non è più un elemento da sottovalutare durante l'estate

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026I'm so glad our room had air conditioning during this Summer. Room was quiet and we could open the windows for fresh air. Beds were comfortable. Room was cleaned daily. Excellent location with access to the old town. Bar in the Lobby is a plus. You can sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere and watch people going by.
Parking in all of Zürich is way over priced. Use Google maps to find the street for the hotel. It's easily missed if you aren't watching.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Paid extra for the breakfast just for the first day and it was excellent. Consists of pastries, quiche, cheeses and ham, boiled eggs, coffee and juices. Good value compared to the cost going out for breakfast.
The room was comfortable, roomy and convenient. It had a ceiling fan and supplemental fan and was comfortable given the high temperatures at the time.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Dat er gratis ijsjes werden aangeboden tijdens de hitte dagen en dat er een extra ventilator in de kamer werd gezet. Goede matrassen om op te slapen.
Helaas geen lactose vrije producten en de koffie was niet meer zoals voorheen beschreven vers. Nu enkel nog via machine met touchscreen. Het ontbijt was minimaal, mocht uitgebreider.

de kamer had geen airco, maar een ventilator aan het plafond

Alles gut, nichts zu beanstanden.

Wer mit dem Fahrzeug anreist und viel Gepäck hat muss wissen dass er gute 7min zu Fuß durch die Altstadt laufen muss um ins Parkhaus zu gelangen. Bei 37 Grad war das nicht so angenehm, bei Regen eventuell auch nicht. Die Klimaanlage war am Limit der kühlung angelangt.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Wir hatten das wahrscheinlich schönste Zimmer des ganzen Hotels, das mit dem Dachgarten und wir waren begeistert! Da oben sitzt es sich an lauen Sommerabenden wunderbar im Strandkorb, wir haben das sehr genossen. Bei den Dachschrägen im Zimmer musste nur mein großer Mann etwas aufpassen, mich haben sie nicht gestört. Es gibt ein einfaches, aber leckeres Frühstück. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für die fußläufige Erkundung der Altstadt, auch die Kooperation mit dem Parkhaus ist günstig. Alle Mitarbeiter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und herzlich, wir haben uns dort wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Bad ist ein wenig eng; besonders an der durchsichtigen Duschtür haben wir uns oft gestoßen - da wäre eine marmorierte Farbvariante wahrscheinlich besser. Ansonsten war alles super!

If you come by car then you have to bring your car to a parking with a 15 minutes walk. Not so fun if it rains.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The location is ideal right in the old city, very close to tram stop and train station. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and cafes as well as the lake just down the road. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast.
Unfortunately we were there during a heat wave and our room didn’t have aircon so it was quite uncomfortable. Also there was only a large doona on our bed which we ended up taking out of its cover to throw over us to sleep. The room was very small.

Im Hotel war alles super und ich werde hier immer wieder buchen da gab es für mich nichts negatives. Aber in der Nähe ist eine riesige Baustelle und wer sehr lärmempfindlich ist wird das vermutlich stören. Die Arbeiten begannen vor 7 Uhr (Mo-Sa). Mich störte es nur wenig, da ich ohnehin früh aufstehe

Breakfast was so nice, served in a gorgeous breakfast room on the first floor. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Zurich. Perfect base for discovering the old town and its fantastic restaurants.

I didn’t think it would be an issue. I was wrong. I would stay again at another time of year but not in summer.

We enjoyed our stay and visit in Zurich. Unfortunately it was during a heat wave and no AC was the only issue. A very pleasant stay otherwise! Location is awesome and close to bus stop and easy to get to train station!!
