Bonica experiència enmig de la natura

Que no es pugui pagar amb targeta de crèdit. Es pot pagar només amb efectiu (impossible pels turistes que ens quedem més de una nit) o bé amb transferència bancària, amb unes comissions elevades per canvi divisa. El preu és per a catalogar-se de alta categoria-ecosostenible però el servei i les facilitats de pagament no estàn a l’alçada. Manca de professionalitat

Tenía este alojamiento en mi bucket list y estaba muy emocionada por visitarlo. El lugar es realmente hermoso, rodeado de naturaleza, y se nota el esfuerzo que pusieron en crear un estilo acogedor y diferente.

Sin embargo, la experiencia se vio afectada por la gestión del lugar. La gerente carece de empatía, sentido común y formación en servicio al cliente. Su trato fue poco amable, con una actitud altanera y escasa disposición para escuchar a los huéspedes. A pesar de lo bonito del entorno, no es un lugar al que desee regresar.

El alojamiento es increíble. Precioso. En medio de la Jungla literal, con todo tipo de detalles, cuidado, limpio, bonito.. si vais al Valle os lo recomiendo 100%. Es un sitio que no deja indiferente Tenéis que tener en cuenta que está en medio de la naturaleza por lo que hay bichos y animales alrededor, pero aún así no ha sido excesivo. Si no te gusta la naturaleza te sugiero que vayas a otra zona de Samaná. Esta literamente a 6 minutos andando de la playa, por un camino selvático muy agradable. Y su piscina muy bonita. Las cabañas para dormir súper cómodas y especiales y los baños una pasada. Buen desayuno y una zona de estar increíble para poder relajarse. El personal encantador, sobre todo Sofia la encargada, que nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos. Si buscas tranquilidad El Valle Lodge es el sitio ideal para relajarse y alejarse del ruido de República Dominicana.

it was exactly what I was looking for! Something authentic, a real jungle experience. it feels so amazing to sleep in those beautiful, cozy bungalows, with all the sounds of nature around you. I swear I had some of the best sleep of my life. and the shower… I loved it. it’s semi-open, so you’re literally showering while looking at palm leaves. And the hotel itself is located 5 min walking from the beach. Top!!

Wish they would offer lunch as well. Because breakfast and dinner was amazing.

Des cabanes en bambou en totale connexion avec une nature luxuriante, un salon surplombant la rivière, des animaux partout, une jolie plage 5 minutes à pieds, une intimité respectée, tout est réuni pour se ressourcer et retrouver sérénité...

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire des lieux, c'est dommage que le personnel ne soit pas plus souriant et attentionné. Pour que la magie soit complète, que la beauté des lieux soit sublimée, nous aurions préféré des repas un peu plus élaborés, mieux présentés et servis plus poliment....

El entorno en el que se encuentra el hotel es increíble. Dormir en plena naturaleza es una experiencia única y muy especial, ideal para desconectar.

La atención del personal no está a la altura y falta bastante comunicación. A nuestra llegada no tenían constancia de la reserva y, aunque nos acompañaron a la cabaña, no recibimos información básica sobre el funcionamiento del hotel. Por la mañana, en el desayuno, nos pidieron el número de la cabaña sin que nadie nos lo hubiera indicado previamente. Además, el desayuno es bastante sencillo, con pan congelado y mermeladas industriales. En general, una experiencia con luces y sombras. El lugar es espectacular, pero deberían mejorar la organización y la atención al cliente para estar a la altura del entorno.

Schöne, kreative Anlage mitten in der Natur, Strand wenige Gehminuten entfernt, auch andere Restaurants und Minimarkets. Konnten ohne Probleme ein grösseres Zimmer mieten da DZ doch zu klein mit Kindern.

Die Renovationen wurden z.T etwas lieblos/undorgsam vorgenommen, was etwas schade ist, da initial mit viel Aufwand erstellt!

Es muy original y el sitio tiene mucho encanto. La cena está muy rica y las dunas muy simpáticas.

La originalidad y la belleza del sitio no compensan las cosas malas. El desayuno es lamentable. A parte de que es muy escaso y pobre, está racionalizado por lo que si le pides más pan, te llevas un no de respuesta. Como si estuviésemos en un campamento de verano y no en un hotel que tiene un precio para nada reducido. El segundo día en el desayuno directamente ni nos dieron pan, ni zumo. Consistió en un puñado de huevos revueltos, un café y un poco de mermelada. Más que lamentable. Además , todos somos conscientes de que estás en un sitio donde hay bichos y mosquitos. Pero recomendaría a las dueñas por lo menos poner en las habitaciones alguna ayuda para que no sea tal masacre, pues míticas velas de citronela o parecido. Y ya como gesto, dado que estas en medio de la nada y no es fácil conseguir productos, sería un plus que haya anti mosquitos para los huéspedes. Pero en un sitio que te racionaliza el pan, pues no le vas a pedir tanto claro. En definitiva, pagas un precio premium para una experiencia más bien Low Cost en su conjunto.

The place is AMAZING! The rooms were small bungalows, which were so beautiful and you had a huge private bathroom that was beyond our expectations. Breakfast is included and you get everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there was always free water refill, which I appreciated a lot. The place looks like a little oasis and the beach is just 4-5 minutes to walk and there were never many people there, so we had a private beach. The small town has everything you need, a few colmados and 2-3 restaurants and it's really peaceful. Perfect for an escape from reality, I will definitely go back again!

L’établissement se situe dans la forêt et proche d’une jolie plage sauvage . Le quartier est calme . Vous êtes au bon endroit pour vous ressourcer.

La réalité n’est pas au niveau des photos que l’on peut voir sur internet . Nous pensions passer 3 nuits dans un magnifique chalet tropical, proche d’un espace aquatique et ce ne fût pas le cas . Attention très peu de restaurants aux alentours.

Être au milieu de la nature dans une jungle. Les cabanes sont magnifiques, très propres, bons lits, salle de bain superbe, eau chaude, le côté Robinson Crusoé, la faune nocturne. Juste splendide. Le repas du soir délicieux.le petit chemin qui mène à la plage.

Le café. On aimerait un bon expresso. Le thé, servi tiède. Une plus grande serviette de plage

L'abitazione immersa nella natura, la possibilità di raggiungere la spiaggia in 5 minuti dal Lodge, lo spazio comune dove piazzarsi anche con la pioggia, l'ottima cena

Le lieu est superbe , l architecture de l établissement est magnifique , les jardins et la nature autour sont luxuriant et reposant , les lodges sont beaux , j ai aimé la localisation , tout près du coeur du village et de la plage ( un sentier y mene en 5 minutes ) Bonne literie , douche chaude et bonne connection Wifi , c est un luxe dans ce lieu au bout du monde . J ai aimé que l equipe regle un probleme technique dans notre chambre d'une maniere rapide et professionnelle . L equipe est sympa , à l ecoute , les recommandations Restaurants ont été appréciées.

Peut etre est il temps d effectuer quelques travaux de maintenance

The natural surroundings are truly stunning. The beach is only a 5-minute walk away, and it is beautiful. Watching the scenery from the restaurant area was also a wonderful experience. The location is very special in terms of its natural environment.

For $160 (excluding taxes), I expected more comfort and security. The room, shower, wc were nearly open and was full of mosquitoes. If you are sensitive to insects, mosquitoes, spiders, or other wildlife, this place may not be suitable for you. Also, the door had no lock, and when I asked about safety, I was told there was one security guard, but we never saw him. So we didn't feel secure. There was no refrigerator in the room and not even drinking water provided. The Wi-Fi did not work in our room; although they gave us a password, there was no WIFI that we were able to connect. (There is no phone service in the area.) If you come by car, finding the parking can be challenging since Google Maps does not show the reception or the parking area. It would be better to ask for the parking location in advance, especially since there is no phone signal there.

Un sitio completamente mágico. Las instalaciones son de ensueño, tanto las habitaciones como los espacios comunes y el entorno. El desayuno y la cena maravillosos y el personal súper atento y amable.

Incredible experience in a remote location that makes you feel like home. Short walk to a virgin beach, super warm staff that became friends and an enchanting design that merges with nature. The bed and pillows are great quality and loved that they have bathrobes to feel more luxurious even if you are in the jungle. Breakfast is lovely and praise for Dominican coffee! The hotel has a restaurant serving nice dinners and cocktails in the evening. Highly recommend for a boutique lodge jungle/beach trip.

Oggettivamente è una struttura molto bella, con camere immerse nella foresta davvero suggestive, il primo impatto è molto potente

Ogni servizio al cliente, sei completamente abbandonato nella foresta da solo, niente prese elettriche, Wi-Fi che non funziona praticamente da nessuna parte, acqua calda che salta al secondo giorno e non ti vengo a controllare su richiesta, mancava il phon per asciugarsi i capelli che nel freddo della foresta non è il massimo, le camere sono completamente aperte e la retina sul letto non impedisce a mosquitos e insetti di entrare in camera, colazione sufficiente o non sufficiente a seconda di chi sta in cucina, di base nessuna figura accogliente in tutto l’hotel. Cena clamorosamente cara per l’offerta e soprattutto senza possibilità di scelta, due portate scarse già scelte dallo staff

el lugar era increíble, la naturaleza era realmente hermosa, es realmente un lugar súper bonito. La cena y el desayuno estaba super bueno.

la habitación estaba un poco sucia, las sábanas y las mantas eran de mala calidad. las camareras del restaurante no era muy agradable, para terminar el hotel me cobró 20 dólares de más en debido a que los cargos de la reserva no estaban explicados correctamente en la aplicación de Booking, qué pena, sentí que me estaban robando.

No me gusto que es muy oscuro de noche él camino hacia la choza, faltan varios faroles. No me gusta que el menú es muy limítado y el personal como que no está muy familiarizado y sus respuestas parecen siempre estar a la confirmación de los dueños. No me gusto que el mosquitero estaba roto , pueden tener uno mejor porque se meten todos los insectos.

Simply, it's an amazing remote place we'd recommend everyone stayint at. It's in the middle of jungle, but near the sea. It offers super tasty food, has great views, and an atmosphere. We met so many nice people and enjoyed our stay here. We spent one of the best time! We will definitely come back one day!

The property itself is so damn beautiful and I loved the view from the main house. We also loved our walk to the beach, along the jungle path to reach one of the most breathtaking beaches I have ever seen. Our room was decorated tastefully and the shower and hot water worked pretty well. We also had food during our entire stay which was also very delicious.

I would have liked to have some drinking water in my room. This is something we had at every other stay we were in during our trip. Unfortunately I also didn’t sleep that well during our stay since the mattress was hard and pillow too high for me. I have to admit though that I have a more sensitive back and neck. One last thing I noticed is that the treehouse was very close to our place which causes our bathroom to be a bit exposed, especially at night with the lights on. This made me a little bit uncomfortable.

Paradise

Sleeping and waking up in the jungle, hearing to its sounds. Just magnificent. The lodge is well maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The lounge area offers very comfortable couches,we spent the whole day lying on them, as it was raining all day long.

We could not get any internet in the room, but it was not a big deal

The nature is great and the beach nearby very beautiful. Feels very tranquil and isolated.

1. Cleanliness - bed sheets and towels had big stains which the staff only changed once we mentioned it. Mosquito net were also cheap and not helpful at keeping insects and dirt out. We were bitten numerous times each night even when using spray. 2. Facilities - No hot water for both days. Even after notifying the staff, the water remained cold and a new room was proposed but did not in the end transpire. Instead we were told to shower in another room and walk between them during a severe storm. In addition, everything was fully open to the elements so all our clothes and belongings got damp and damaged. 3. Staff - Other than those cooking and cleaning, the people running the lodge were disinterested and unhelpful. It was difficult to tell who was a guest and who was an owner as everyone was equally relaxed. When we asked about excursions, we didn’t get a clear answer or price until we asked. The location is also very wild yet we received no help with moving suitcases around. 4. Illness - One of us caught a very bad stomach bug (most likely from the pool). One of us swam in it and got very sick soon after. We saw the pool getting filled with water from the nearby stream that morning and the chlorination didn’t appear thorough. It resulted in over 12 hours of severe sickness which almost resulted in hospitalisation. When this was bought to the intention of the staff, they were more interested in defending their facilities as opposed to helping and mentioned that it had to come from somewhere else as no one else had gotten sick. The non-sick guest wanted to have food in the room to ensure the sick guest was okay and they made them carry the food on a tray from the kitchen during a storm. 5. Value for money - It was a premium price (roughly the same nightly rate as an all inclusive in punta cana) which felt extortionate considering the aforementioned issues.

The pool measures 2x2 m, the accès to the hotel from Samana is a nightmare, the fish they served us for dinner was extremely difficult to eat and we booked 2 massages we never got😉

Great location in terms of being in El Valle and near a beautiful beach. Great views at the beach. The room was about what I expected in terms of being very simple/rustic. Breakfast was wonderful and the property in and of itself was very pretty.

The room had very dim lighting and the bed had stains on it, as well as the towels. We also had a frog in our room at night, but also to be expected. The wifi in the rooms was poor and the toilet clogs easily as well. While I love the concept, I just don't think the price is totally worth it.

The place is a hidden gem 💎

The place is an absolute dream. The room is integrated with lush surrounding nature, 5 minutes from the beach in a jungly spot. King size beds are super comfortable and the bathroom is huge. Feels like a movie! Special points for great breakfast and cheerful staff. Also took a great yoga class!

Nice atmosphere, definitely a must-try experience. The entire complex is close to the beach, the rooms look cool, and the facility is animal-friendly.

Dinner was awful. It was totally not worth it in general, but asking 25 p.p. for it felt criminal :D We went to bed hungry that evening. Also, no one greeted us upon our arrival except a cute dog who was hanging out with us while we wandered through the complex for half an hour with our bags. Not like we expected to be greeted, just took us long time to find someone that can do a check-in for us.

The location of this was ideal as right by the beach , the actual property & concept of it was excellent…breakfast was superb & entire ambience was lovely & relaxing.

Sadly felt the staff were not overly accommodating with info, there was no mention of the activities like yoga etc that took place there & when & we got told by a local about the happy hr & DJ on our last night there…this mainly applies to front of house staff not being particularly friendly as kitchen staff each morn were lovely.

Loved how everything is and feels so natural and effortless. The integration with nature is amazing.

I loved this place but I think that (at least my cabin) was a little not cared for. When we arrived on the first day we had no hot water so we had to take a cold shower. It was fixed the next day thankfully but other things like the mosquito net had multiple holes, or the bathroom didn’t have basic things like a cub for the toothbrush (this is minor but details make a difference) our safe box was broken and so on… made our stay less pleasant

The location is amazing, with a short walk through a jungley route to the absolutely gorgeous beach. The sound of the jungle as you fall asleep is incredible, and waking up to the jungle was also amazing. The room is wonderful and rustic, with wooden french doors that open up on 3 sides to allow the sights of the jungle in in the morning. Breakfast looking out on to the lush jungle scenery was a highlight of our trip! Muchas Gracias!

The doors do not lock from the outside, which made us feel uncomfortable about our luggage and safety. We felt a little unsafe at night as the doors only lock with wooden latches. The room is slightly open to the elements (read Mosquitos) so bring lots of repellent (the stronger and more toxic the better): despite the mosquito net we were still eaten alive!

The location is nice

The food in the restaurant was expensive but not good at all. Also, in the night, there was a party in the restaurant with the staff. Since the rooms are in the open air, we were up all night. The staff was screaming, singing and playing music super loud. Eventually, we (AS GUESTS???) went out of bed to ask them to stop the party so we could sleep. Very weird…. We barely slept this night. It was way to expensive for this night…

Beds were incredibly uncomfortable

The lodge and the surroundings are incredible, it's 100% nature immersive. The cabins are great and the short walk to the beach is beautiful. You can only hear the wilderness. Breakfast and food in general is very good and the lodge facilities are very comfortable.

Our room, #1, could have done with a little more privacy (I believe the rest are off the main pathways), and there was no wardrobe or drawers to keep clothing.

I went there with my girlfriend and we had the time of our lives. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome by everybody, specially by Carolina, who was so exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and so helpful with everything. The room was amazing and all the facilities. Outstanding food, we enjoyed every meal. Every moment in El Valle was unforgetable, One of the best moments of our lives. Thank you El Valle Lodge!
