Did you like about the property? I loved the greenery in the property. The amenities in the property. The way they take care of young children at the property. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping staff is excellent. I would specially like to mention chef Sanket who really took efforts and make sure that our toddler gets her food. The way she likes at the time she likes, which was really special.

Although it’s not something that I didn’t like at all, but I feel that the food at the restaurant can be improved a bit. It is not up to the Taj standards. Breakfast buffet was very good, but the food on Ala Carte menu can be improved and consistency needs to be maintained because when we ordered the same item twice on two different days, the quality was different on both days.

The property was absolutely stunning with world-class facilities and impeccable cleanliness. The staff were warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make our business trip comfortable. The location is serene and beautiful.

Honestly, there was very little to complain about. Perhaps the in-room workspace could be slightly more ergonomic for extended business use, but it's a minor point overall.

You cannot order Ubers from that location, drivers usually call you and try to negotiate a higher price. The deluxe rooms are not soundproof. The rooms share walls, and you can clearly hear conversations from neighbouring rooms. The service staff were overwhelmed during both the breakfast and dinner buffets. We had to wait about 15 minutes just to get spare bowls, and naan orders took around 30 minutes despite multiple reminders. The staff appeared to be prioritising the corporate events taking place at the hotel during our stay. The service manager Rohit was kind enough to get us an upgrade after we conplained during the first few hours of our check-in. So that was a plus.

We had a very good experience at Taj Aravali. The staff were excellent—especially Surajpal and Kamal at the entrance, who took great care of my mother, and the team at the restaurant, particularly Anup.

Our package included a buffet dinner. However, due to a wedding event at the hotel, the buffet was not available, and we had to order from the à la carte menu, which offered far fewer options. Additionally, the wedding guests caused significant noise at around 3 a.m., which disturbed our sleep.

Poor quality housekeeping- a leak in the toilet, wall lights hanging off, limited toilet roll. Very chaotic service at breakfast and dinner. The bar is not adults only and children were playing video games loudly.

Our stay at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the grandeur laced with serenity amidst the gorgeous landscape. The service we received was that of royalty - The manager Kaustubh made sure our entire trip was not only comfortable but exceptional. There was a minor bump with the buggy situation, but we were so grateful for the extremely receptive management - it was taken care of immediately by Ritesh and the rest of the stay was flawless. All of the staff was were very helpful and went out of their way to be welcoming and made sure our stay was pleasant including the restaurant staff of Tiri and Javitri (not very happy with the Odeypore), housekeeping, buggy drivers, front desk and door and welcome staff. We look forward to booking another vacation here soon!

Mayur ji have us a fantastic tour on the e-bike - he is very knowledgeable - highly recommended - we took the 1 hour tour - there are options for 2 hours and 3 hours as well

Despite having the correct room booked, I was initially allocated the wrong room and had to complain multiple times to reception. The staff gave excuses instead of resolving the issue, and after being shifted to another room (543), we experienced a strong sewage smell with no proper action taken. Only after escalation through my agent were we finally shifted late at night to an acceptable room (149). This experience caused significant inconvenience and disappointment during our stay. As a regular visitor to Udaipur and a returning guest to Aravali, this visit was a major letdown, and I do not plan to return or recommend the property.

We are extremely touched by the warmth and care of Taj Aravali team . Ms Sanjana the stay manager is exceptional .She made everything just right and perfect for us. At front desk Khushi and Rhythm are lovely people . At Tiri Mr Manoj the manager is amazing and treated us like family and kept checking if we needed anything anytime. Anup at Tiri restaurant is very nice . Housekeeping head Mr Giriraj is great . Planned a sweet surprise Shubham Nirusha Anuj Very helpful Overall each one of them ensured to give the best to us. The people at the entrance of the hotel too are nice. One of the best sight we witnessed was welcoming the kids from NGO with Tikka, Garland ,love ,respect and arranging Christmas feast for them . Super gesture!! They gifted us lovely art pieces done by locals. We made memories and retuned with our hearts full Thank you team Taj Aravali Udaipur ..

Very happy by there welcome and amazing hospitality. Even guards treated us very well they provided bottles every time we step out of hotel. Staff took care of small needs of my niece. Loved the experience.

Very beautiful property constructed on a slope of a Aravali mountain. Ones you are here you don't need to step out it has so much to offer. Incredible food and activities experience. Staff is very attentive and proactive. Large and beautiful rooms with natural porch. Would definately stay again.

Truly a Taj experience ! The rooms are so well done, exude warmth. The bed is comfortable, not too soft. Well equipped with all toiletries I could think of. Suraj and Kamal at the entrance are highly welcoming , and greet with warmth. Sumi helped us change our room from a garden sit out, to a lovely cottage . There was a wedding next door and it’s a bit noisy on our first day of stay. Sumi went out of her way to check for alternatives, and eventually gave us an upgraded room in Day 2 I was super well fed through both days, and was glad that I picked all meals. The Indian and Asian food at Tiri is excellent! The restaurant well-manned . Rekha’s service at Tiri was super endearing , always cheerful and ever smiling . Chef Sanket spoke to us through our meal and ensured we were taken care of. If I were to nitpick, the Italian food at Tiri was underwhelming. The pizza and the pastas were not good. The Margherita pizza was forgetful, shared my feedback with chef Sanket. The Aglio olio pasta needed some starch water which emulsifies with the extra virgin olive oil, lending it an amazing creamy texture. Instead it tasted like panfried noodles. Day 2 breakfast was chaotic due to some wedding party, so obviously the service suffered , but the staff did well to keep us fed. But all in all, amazing Indian food at the restaurant. I would have loved having one of my meals at some other restaurant , but that didn’t seem possible according to the reception staff. All in all, what an amazing property , thoughtfully designed , all amenities taken care of, well stocked gym(used iron both days). Very luxurious, but more importantly, warm and endearing ❤️

First of all GST invoice was refused to provide. So that cost us extra. Room had dead insect in it. Flush was not working. monitor lizards in bathroom closet. This was completely unacceptable.

We stayed at Taj Aravali Resort this November, and our experience was truly exceptional. The property is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are nothing short of extraordinary. A special mention to the wonderful staff — Kamalji, Suraj ji, Shreeja ji and Sanjana ji — for their warm hospitality and welcome. The only minor hiccup we faced was during breakfast. We had requested cold milk twice but received hot milk both times, and our sambhar never reached the table. Apart from this small lapse in service, the food was delicious. Overall, Taj Aravali is absolutely worth the stay — a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and impeccable surroundings. We would love to visit again!

Loved the hotel and ambiance. Especially the pool and gym!! Devendra and Gopal helped train and were extremely resourceful and knew every equipment in the gym.

Taj Aravali is the great property in Udaipur for stay and it's food is delicious. Mr. Gopal, swimming pool side is the nice person he has the great knowledge of swimming and I enjoyed swimming lots.

Review for Taj Aravali Resort & Spa, Udaipur Stay: 2 nights (October 28 to October 30) Our recent stay at Taj Aravali Resort & Spa was a mixed experience. The check-in process was smooth, and the team was kind enough to offer us a late check-out, which we truly appreciated as we had a late evening flight. The property itself is beautiful, maintaining a clean and well-kept environment with a charming heritage look, much like most properties in Udaipur. The resort had a small play area for kids, though with limited activities. We did enjoy a game of badminton (which, surprisingly, was chargeable). On the other hand, cricket and football were complimentary, and there were also some indoor games including pool, which again were chargeable. It was rather disappointing to see basic games being billed separately at a five-star property, which felt inconsistent with the Taj experience. Our first dining experience at their Thali Restaurant on Day 1 was unfortunately below expectations. To add to this, despite being Taj InnerCircle Gold Members, we were denied an upgrade rather curtly at the front desk, which left us disheartened. However, things took a positive turn when we shared our feedback regarding both the food and upgrade with Mr. Hanumant Singh, Director of Rooms. He personally met us, showed us available rooms, and ensured we were promptly upgraded. His professionalism and willingness to listen truly reflected the authentic Taj spirit. Our food experience on Day 2 was significantly improved, and we could feel the difference in attention and quality. The breakfast buffet was good, though not exceptional — both the spread and taste could have been better. Having stayed at several Taj properties across India, we’ve come to expect a certain warmth and consistency that defines Taj hospitality. This time, however, our overall experience — especially with two young kids — felt somewhat suboptimal. That said, a special mention to Mr. Hanumant Singh for his genuine concern and prompt action in addressing our issues. His gesture went a long way in ensuring our stay ended on a positive note.

The experience was very thrilling and one to remember especially because of the staff and their way of handling and managing everything from room service to dinner table to the set up. I overall had a really great time and i very eagerly want to visit this place again in coming times. at Aravali Lawn,Thalli dinner i was accommodated by the very good gentelman’s namely Mr Surendra,Mrs Rajina,Mr Sagar,Mr Manvendar these three made my experience more beautiful and peaceful then it could have been.
