Overall, I did not find this resort to be value for money. For the amount I paid, I believe I could have stayed at a much better branded resort with superior facilities and service. Here are the main issues I experienced: 1. Frequent power outages: There were repeated electricity interruptions, even during the night, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. 2. Poor Wi-Fi connectivity: The internet connection was unreliable and the Wi-Fi kept disconnecting throughout my stay. 3. No flexibility with late check-out: Despite the inconvenience caused by the power outages and lack of proper sleep, my request for an extended check-out was declined. I had to check out at 12:00 PM, which ended up wasting the rest of my day. 4. Overpriced services: The prices of food and other services within the resort were significantly inflated compared to the overall experience offered. 5. Missing basic amenities: The minibar was empty, there was no dedicated kids’ play area and essential amenities such as bathrobes and bathroom slippers were not provided. 6. Poor communication: The in-room phone lines had constant disturbances. Whenever I called to report an issue, the line was unclear due to excessive noise, making it difficult to communicate. Even after informing the staff about the problem, no action was taken to resolve it. Considering the nightly room rate of approximately 13K-15k , I would recommend choosing a better branded resort that offers higher standards of comfort, amenities , hospitality and guest service. This resort is just money making machine .

All good, thanks Yuvraj & other staff for service. This property is my all time go to place for a day out or stay in Udaipur.

We feel the pool room should have some privacy, last time we stayed in same type of room but it was on 3rd floor, hence privacy was better, this time we stayed on 2nd floor and the outside open area is directly visible, which can cause a privacy issue - not a major problem but just a feedback.

Staff was courageous.

1. There was no elevator for room where we stayed. 2. There was no elevator to go down stairs ballroom. 3. Food was below average.

Excellent layout. Large dining areas - outdoors included. Beautiful pool views. The reception hall is huge, adjacent to a courtyard. There was a flute player in the morning, very soothing and calming.

Location - it's far from everywhere. Uber won't come there. The elevators were 'really dirty'. It seemed like they had not been cleaned for weeks. There were finger marks and other stains, yukk..., on the walls. We highlighted it to the staff, not sure if they took any action.

If in Udaipur select Fateh Vilas. Spent 2 nights and was awesome experience. It is not resort it has theme of Palace where u can spent entire day and get feeling of staying in Palace. Vintage Car collection is awesome. View excellent Good food. Top notch cleanliness. Nice people It is huge than what you see in this picture. 10 to 15 % higher rates than should be but acceptable for premium property. If you get good deal just select this property.

Baby cot unavailable. To Management. Please make Baby cots and do not rely on transfer from Fathgarh property. It is mandatory for families with kids. Cannot miss for such a luxury property. Even 2 tier property has baby cots available.

The kitchen chiminey smell filled the rooms. Though they changed to a better one the smell still persisted. No privacy in the balcony.

AmaIng staff were very attentive. We were sick during our stay and did everything to help us and were very sympathetic. The hotel itself is gorgeous and in the middle of the jungle - with the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. The food was great, as we were sick we ordered room service everyday so very much enjoyed the food. We also went to the spa and enjoyed a great treatment for little cost. I very much enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Very clean, and the room and balcony were very spacious. Lovely views.

No sun loungers by one of the pools. Staff were polite and attentive but very expectant of tips, which became tiresome. Quite a way from town.

Excellent hospitality and location. Very clean. Amazing views of Udaipur city, mountains and nearby forts. Breakfast and dinner was delicious and the attendants were very polite, hospitable and helpful. The resort is like a palace, great views of sunrise, clear skies at night. Away from hustle-bustle of Udaipur city.

As a NRI with non-Indian passport, at no point we were told that we have to bring our OCIs as well. We have stayed in other 5* hotels and beyond the passport, no one asks for OCI, even if they do ask they are happy with parents' OCI. The reception staff were quite adamant and we produce for children as well. I enquired afterwards from reliable sources, apparently there is an option to fill some Form and take an undertaking if kids' OCIs are not present; that should have sufficed. However, these guys were unhelpful, obtuse and rigid and left a very bad impression at the start. Otherwise the stay was fabulous. The reception staff should try to be more sensible, hospitable and understanding. Perhaps, they treat foreign tourists (esp. Indians) differently!

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It was a lot better than i expected. I would certainly stay here again. The staff and management are very good. The view of the hills from my balcony at the back of the hotel was extremely good! The food was very good. I would like to mention Mahendra Singh from the restaurant who was excellent and thank him for looking after me so well ! :-)

Huge list of things. 1st time and last time. Maybe they are good only in catering to destination weddings but not for normal people

Amazing property. You can hear peacocks all around. Lush green and beautiful

Although the food was good, we were the only couple inside waiting for dinner and staff seamed more interested in the bigger party on the balcony, service was slow and did not feel a priority.
