Reviewed Sep 18, 2026Perfect for a working trip. The room facilities are quite standard for the net hotels, but everything is nicely maintained and is in a right place. Location is great, just at the border of the "old town", and the hotel is well connected with the public transport. Reception is open until late hours and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not exceptional but pretty nice; the hotel has a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well, but I did not have a chance to try it.
The hotel has an eco-friendly policy, so the cleaning is only done on request, which I was very happy to hear (I honestly don't think the cleaning is necessary at all for any stay shorter than a week for a solo traveler, and I hate people moving my stuff around). So I didn't bother to put on "do not disturb" sign as I usually do. However, I noticed soon that someone was in the room when I was out. For the first time, I assumed that they just wanted to close the window that I forgot, because the rain was coming. It is OK. The second time, I found that they did some not requested "cleaning" (honestly, mostly moving stuff around) and touched and moved my things including my pajamas and underwear. Which is, not OK at all, very gross. It was also completely pointless since I was checking out like next day. After that I put on the "do not disturb sign". It didn't help, because when I got out next time (on my check out day, I went to the closest supermarket to get some food for my long train ride) I found that someone was in the room again in my absence. I was away for 30 minutes top, with a sign on. That's not nice at all. This is very annoying, because aside of this creepy thing I liked the hotel a lot. But I will not stay again, this sort of thing is just not acceptable for me.

Ausgesprochen sauber war auch die Frühstücksatmosphäre: nach jedem Gast wurden die Tische und die darauf befindlichen Utensilien gründlich gereinigt. Super! Das Frühstück war etwas preiswerter als angegeben: pro Person (wir waren nur eine Nacht dort) 16€. Das Angebot war sehr in Ordnung.
Teppichboden im Hotelzimmer ist grundsätzlich fragwürdig - schlecht sauber zu halten

De kamers waren zeer ruim en netjes , De gangen naar de kamer zagen er niet zo fris uit tapijt was nogal "dirty" Dus als je lift uitkwam was de eerste indruk dat het hotel onhygiënisch, maar kamer en de rest was super ok.

Nothing! I liked it all! The construction they were doing wasn't on my floor, so it didn't bother me. Carpet is outdated in the hallways, though I imagine that's part of the upgrades they're doing. Would have preferred a pod coffee maker.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Banheiro limpo e espaçoso, e quarto muito bom, espaçoso e confortável. Mas o café da manhã foi simplesmente incrível. Um dos melhores que eu já vi em hotel. A quantidade de opções, qualidade e sabor foram surreais.
A única coisa que não me agradou muito foi o ar-condicionado do quarto, que inicialmente não estava funcionando muito bem, mas depois, ao comunicar isso na recepção, consertaram. Contudo, mesmo em sua potência máxima, não chegava na temperatura que eu gostaria.

Le stationnement a été un petit problème car le parking qui jouxte l'hôtel n'est pas celui avec qui le Pentahotel collabore. Il faudrait le signaler un peu plus ou alors faire la ristourne de 7 euros quand les clients se trompent.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Die Zimmer sind geräumig, haben einen größeren und einen kleinen Tisch, und drei Sessel. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Verbindungstür. War für uns ideal. Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen. Unser Hund hat sich gleich mit dem Personal angefreundet. Die Bar ist auch o.k. und die Preise ebenfalls im Rahmen. Das Parkhaus ist etwa 5 min entfernt und sehr hell und hat auch für größere Autos Platz. E-Autos können auch dort geladen werden (8 Ladepunkte). Frühstück ebenfalls alles da, was man benötigt. Die Quiche ist sehr lecker... Da die Altstadt überschaubar ist, sind wir diese zu Fuß abgegangen. Sehr schöne Stadt, aber unbedingt Wasser mitnehmen. Die Lage ist top, da man sehr schnell in der Stadt drin ist. Also für uns war die Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Haben auch eine Nacht verlängert...

Reviewed Aug 14, 2026Die Lage ist o.k., was das Erreichen der Altstadt angeht. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war auch o.k. Auffallend nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit war die Dame am Empfang beim Ein- und Ausschecken. Man hat gemerkt, dass sie viele Jahre Erfahrung hat. Das war sehr angenehm.
Erstens: Nochmal die Lage: Direkt vor dem Hotel und genau vor unserem Zimmer verläuft in einer Kurve die Strassenbahn, die recht oft am Hotel vorbeifährt. Also hat man alle paar (einstelliger Wert!!) Minuten Räderquietschen und Gebimmel bis weit in die Nacht (ca. 1 Uhr) und ab dem frühen Morgen (5 Uhr). Dazu kommt eine recht alte Klimaanlage unter dem Fenster innen, die recht laut ihre Arbeit tut. Auschalten war bei den Temperaturen (30 Grad und mehr) keine Option. In Summe war an eine ruhige Nacht nicht zu denken. Zweitens: Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber, allerdings war der Flur wieder genau so fleckig wie in Leuven. Scheinbar ist die Penta Kette an einem sauberen Flur nicht interessiert. Uns stört so etwas jedenfalls.
