Very friendly staff and excellent location

Careful with the “atrium view” rooms and the junior suites. They have a window that goes onto the hallway, which means you constantly have people walk by the only window of the room.

Everything was great.... the location is on the main road and there is lots of eating options available. Staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast was great...

Clean large room and very large bathroom. Comfortable bed. Loved the walk-in shower and its handy dispensers for shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Large vanity with lots of space to set toiletries. Plenty of electrical outlets to charge devices. Reasonable price compared with other area lodging. Wonderful location — guests can walk to shopping and restaurants and there’s even a Wegmans right next door! Easy access to the parking garage on the 2nd floor. This hotel was great and the absolute best part of our stay was the staff — Kenneth, Tina, Natalia and Tsega were all SUPER helpful and very guest service oriented.

No complaints at all. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to other travelers.

Room was comfortable and bed big enough for a big person like me.

Everything was fine. They can offer different breakfast on different days. Breakfast was basically the same everyday. The must also changes the times for check in and check out.

It is a bit confusing how to get to your room if your floor isn’t on a floor that is parallel to the garage.

Interestingly, I was put in a room designed for wheelchair bound persons. The room had a nice view of Rockville Pike and the bed was firm. The television screen was big and there were several outlets for my laptops and cell phones. The in-house restaurant had courteous and professional staff, especially the Ethiopian woman who was the server my second evening at the hotel. She was warm, friendly, and very attentive. Great to have a hotel that is a block from the Metro station, making it easy to get around suburban DC and DC proper. The hotel is across the street from a supermarket, while various sit-down restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a mall for shopping. Housekeeping staff made regular trips to my room. The woman who replaced my towels was polite and professional. The front desk staff got me checked in and checked out quickly. The ladies on duty were pleasant and professional.

I can't gripe about my experience with the hotel. My only concern is that there is no traffic light on the corner of Rockville Pike where the hotel entrance is. Crossing the Rockville Pike therefore becomes a bit of an adventure; I find it better to walk a couple of blocks to where a traffic light is so that I won't get hit by a vehicle.

The most disappointing part of my stay was the service in the breakfast area. The waitress was unfriendly, never smiled, and did not make us feel welcome. Instead, she repeatedly questioned why three people were staying in one room and kept asking for our room number. Although we were registered guests, her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed. Hospitality is about making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately, this was not the experience we had during breakfast.

Great location and staff, especially over such a significant holiday weekend. Olive’s restaurant convenient and tasty, although overpriced.

The cleanliness was lacking in our room when we arrived and our shower often ran cold or very hot. Paying to park on the premises is wild at $30 daily when even downtown Washington DC only charged $17 daily on July 4th weekend!!! Essentially, where you save on the room compared to other local hotels, you make up for in parking - and there’s nothing special about it. Also, breakfast - which is simply a regular hotel buffet - is NOT included and will run you another $20-30 per person 😕

We liked the location

The parking fee. That was outrageous. We also do not like the breakfast process. Several days we were chased down by the server after breakfast to try to get our room number. This should be taken care of before hand or even before we get to the dining area. Secondly, she tried to insist breakfast was not included for my stay, so then I not only was chased down, I then had to wait like a criminal while she called the front desk to confirm. TRUST ME…the breakfast being offered is hardly worth the extra we paid for it, much less trying to sneak a sub par breakfast on the sly. We also did not like that the regular paying hotel guests were left to scrounge for parking late at night due to a wedding that was being hosted at the hotel, especially given the fact that we paid an astronomical price for it.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, but I would suggest making peanut butter available! The staff members were friendly and accommodating. I interacted with one at check-in and another at check-out -- Christina at the front desk was most helpful when the temperature in my room was higher than expected. The tech who came in to reset the thermostat was excellent too. I like the hotel's proximity to the Twinbrook Metro station and interesting Asian restaurants and other shopping experiences nearby. It is an easy commute into central DC if you don't want all the bustle.

The temperature in my room never went below 73, although it had been set lower. It was a little warm. It's also a little disorienting to stay in a room in which the sole window overlooks an inside atrium, not the outdoors, but I knew that when I booked the room. The hotel did not seem to have many guests so noise was not an issue, but I can imagine it being more of an issue if a wedding or other event is going on.

Little things that were overlooked. No soap in the bathroom. Inconvient outlet locations. Had to reboot the tv. It didnt work at first. Im not a maintenance person! Im a paying customer
