Cambria Hotel Rockville

Excellent location in downtown Rockville, close to Metro station and many restaurants. Large room, breakfast was convenient and good value.

Bathroom shower needs updating. Shower grout needs cleaning and tile is very slippery with no available non skid shower mat. Hair dryer had little power and worked poorly.

We didn't have breakfast there. Their hours are from 6 to 9am. We weren't ready at 9am .

I think the place was great for the value.

Honestly... nothing!

Running out of water

Nothing. Didn't get a chance to see any of the property

Arrived for our reservation only to be told the entire facility had no running water. No showers, no faucets, and no flushing toilets. But they would happily refund our booking and made arrangements with other local hotels for a discounted rate. The other hotels did not have the room type needed to accommodate our family. I don't understand why the hotel waited until we arrived at 6pm to check in to inform us that we could not stay there. Were the phones not working either? Internet? Email?

Everything

Clean, good beds, great location

Stayed for 6 nights. Had to request cleaning service.

It was a convenient location and the staff was friendly.

The hallways were not clean. The little seating area outside the elevator on the 5th floor remained uncleaned with crumbs on the table. The hallways were not vacuumed and I noticed the same pill/medication and paper scraps over the 2 days we were there. Our room was not clean. The coffee maker was dusty as was the mirror behind it. On the other hand, there was a heavy bleach smell when we walked into the room. We went down to pick up a little breakfast at the hotel's market at about 10am. There were no breakfast foods left. Just cookies, chips, mac & cheese. We were told sorry it's all gone. We were quite disappointed.

Location and price point

Very clean, modern and quiet

Air conditioning system

For breakfast to be included

Location

No breakfast, rooms not being done everyday.

Its clean and walking distance to buy staff

rooms are spacious and clean ! good value for the price as well

Comfy beds.

Facilities are old and need updating. Black tarry substance ground into carpet, hard to get basics like soap. Need to request reset of room from housekeeping a minimum of 24 hours in advance which would be prior to your check in! You will get multiple texts asking if your room is okay and if you need anything but it is not a text chain you can respond to, meaning it’s only annoyance and interruption in your life- performative help rather than actual assistance.

Some of the front desk staff were great. I liked the beds, the tub and the location.

Noemi at the front desk was rude, unhelpful and generally unpleasant.

paying for parking

It had everything u need and then some. Microwave, coffee pot, even a lumbar support pillow.

It had everything u could ask for and more. Loved it and will pick it first of all hotels!

No free breakfast lol

I always stay at this hotel it's always 💯 near metro for going to DC for events

Everything was perfect

spacious room, close to metro station, comfort bedding

the noise came from the street

clean, comfortable, nearby parking (garage), walking distance to "town center" with shops and restaurants

Super nice hotel. Great location, very clean, very comfortable with great parking. The metro station was less than a 5-minute walk and the area around the hotel was very nice as well. This was our first time in the DC area and we are glad we found this place and we'd definitely stay here again. Just wish the pool hours were different (see below).

The pool/hot tub hours were 10am to 8pm during the week and 11am to 7pm on the weekends. This was the only negative thing about this hotel. It's nice to be able to use the pool and/or hot tub after a long day out doing stuff. When they close so early, it's impossible to enjoy them. Same with opening so late, that made it difficult to find time to enjoy them before heading out for the day. The hours really should be adjusted.

Location

Everything is was a beautiful and clean and the location was awesome. Has alot around it.

Location was amazing, locals were very fun and nice people.

Had to pay additional for parking.

Location and luxury property

Very comfortable, big room

The location was very convention to the metro, the area is safe and we could walk to many eateries and shops, there was even a grocery store within walking distance.

We were told that our room would be cleaned on Wednesday, it wasn't. So we called the front desk and requested it to be cleaned on thursday, as we needed new towels. It never got cleaned, our trash never got taken out. I understand trying to conserve water and energy by not cleaning it everyday. But to not clean it at all for the duration of a six day stay seemed somewhat unreasonable to me.

Room temperature is an issue as the thermometer does not really work well.

Laundry machines not working. Cleaning services only available a day in advance alert.

Location is in the centre of Rockville and a 2 minute walk from the Metro into Washington

Nothing

Location

Air conditioning unit in the room constantly made noise that kept us up instead of getting much sleep. The parking garage wasn't fully lite. Body wash in the shower was empty but housekeeping was quick to supply a new body wash. Food was overpriced.

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

Great hotel! Easy to park, room was very clean and the beds so comfy! Just wish the pool was open later than 7.

everything

nothing

Limpieza, amplitud y amabilidad del personal del hotel.

everything

gusippis honey mustard sauce

Todo perfecto!

clean and pet friendly

Excellent location in downtown Rockville with restaurants nearby and a short walk to the Metro. Great for getting around the DC area. Paid parking was reasonable and convenient. My room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and efficient. The pool was clean and pleasant.

Staff are great and the place is really nice, business trip and will use the hotel again

The whole package was great

The room was really nice, love the long shades for the windows, a lot of amenities inside the rooms

I couldn’t get in to the pool it close to early. And we have loud people next to our room

Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

NO WATER AND THEY WON'T YOU UNTIL AFTER YOU CHECK IN. WHY WOULD YOU ALLOW SOMEONE TO BOOK THEN WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE THERE TO THEN SAY THERE IS NO WATER. I BLAME MYSELF, THE REVIEWS SAID IT BUT I READ THEM TOO LATE

Clean and safe

The toilet was not working when we first got in the room

The location.

The bathroom had mold in the shower, and all over the bath products.

Room was clean, comfortable and in good location.

Had to fiddle with the TV cable connection to get it to work, dry wall repairs not done properly. The carpet was stained and worn looking. Staff were attentive but don’t things such as calling taxis and no daily room cleaning service unless requested. I requested service but they only came the next day.

The coffee pot in the room

189 bucks for less than 24 hrs in a room.... still want me to pay 3 bucks for a small coffee and cant get it till 7 am

Nice room nice bed and couch

Staff said if my handicap dad wanted a chair brought to him we would need to book another night

N/A

The room's internet is not secured. When I discussed with the staff there, I had conflicting answers. While one person said that's how it should be, and I needed a VPN application online, another said that the IT department was doing an upgrade. I told my family members not to connect to the room's internet. We had to roam our phones and use our own internet (that was an extra and unplanned cost). Travelers should check whether this has been resolved before connecting to the internet in the room; otherwise, your information might be stolen.

Great location, big room and big bed. Fridge is a nice touch. Parking was easy.

Some towels were not changed/had hairs in them? Had to request new ones. Shower water pressure is slightly low. Also reception only ever had one staff so for checking in and out the wait could be long.

Room was spotless and it was very quiet

Location, large room, friendly staff.

The hotel was very clean and the location

Provide parking for your guests without an additional cost. Update. The lobby and the restaurant and do away with the old smell and update the outer doors because it's underwhelming when you walk in

Had a really enjoyable stay at Cambria Hotel Rockville. We stayed in a corner room and it was very spacious which immediately set the tone. Plenty of room to relax spread out and actually feel comfortable instead of cramped. The location is a win. Loved the area and the neighborhood vibe with lots of walkable spots around the hotel. It felt easy and convenient and made the stay more enjoyable overall. Dinner service was a little hit or miss. The food was decent and had good flavor but the service felt uneven at times. Nothing terrible just not as smooth as it could have been. Even with that the stay was solid and comfortable with more positives than negatives. I would absolutely stay again based on the room and location alone.
