Restaurant was great. Location is good. Staff were very friendly.

No coffee maker in the room and the morning coffee in the lobby was only available until 9 am. 10 am would have been nice for those of us on vacation.

Počas nášho pobytu koncom augusta 2026 sme nahlásili manažérovu že mi boli pravdepodobne odcudzené veci z môjho kufra s presným popisom vecí ktoré zmizli. Neskoršie v ten deň nám manažér oznámil že sa pýtal upratovačiek a že oni nič nezobrali. Na druhý deň sme boli celý deň preč v meste a keď sme sa vrátili tak som tie odcudzené veci našla naspäť vrátené pod vecami v kufri. To sme boli znovu nahlásiť na recepcii. Povedali, že to teda budú riešiť kto to zobral a vratil späť. Ale do nášho odchodu nám nič nedali vedieť. Za tie roky čo cestujeme a z viac ako 40 prejdených krajinách sa nám este nikdy nič také nestalo. Mrzí ma že sa nám nikto k tejto situácii už nevyjadril. Takže !!! POZOR NA SVOJE VECI V TOMTO HOTELI!! Ako sa niekto môže hrabať vo vašich osobných veciach v kufri, niečo odtiaľ zobrať a potom na druhý deň sa tam znova hrabať aby to vratil naspäť keďže zrejme sa dopočula že sa hľadajú veci a pre istotu to vratila😪😪😮😮

Advertised as Bay view. We could see only a miniscule area of water, some unattractive harbour buildings and a car park.

Great location very close to the piers. Could walk to many places Sociable hour every day with complimentary wine and beer was a lovely touch

The bathroom was tired and the bath was chipped. We also had a broken blind on the bedroom that did get fixed but lots of mess, plaster etc that wasn’t cleared up after

Gymn too small and limited equipment and space.

The location was excellent. Perfect for the places we had planned to visit on our trip.

The Valet was difficult to get a spot and there was no help or offer with our bags or anything else. Only the question that we would be using the overnight valet and then a dismissal. It was frustration but not the end of the world.

The front desk staff has been kind and attentive but unfortunately but did not have the ability to resolve any issues.

I booked through a 3rd party and had issues with the reservation. Requested a conversation with hotel management and they did not call or email me back after 3 requests. Booking.com also called and emailed and they did not respond. I had to initiate another request a few days later and be the intermediary between booking.com and the hotel. Requested a full refund and they would not honor. I am still in the process of finding a resolution over a week later. I would not recommend staying here.

Quiet rooms, great room layout, best coffee in the lobby. Loved the eclectic options such as bringing a plant to your room and the record player. Happy hour beverage hit the spot after a day of travel.

The guy who got my suitcase out of luggage storage was lurking for a tip. Dude, you rolled my suitcases 3 feet.

Ideal location. Lovely environment. The rooms were so quiet and comfortable. I appreciated the ambiance lighting options and the records and record player were a fun touch. Would definitely stay here again.

The only damper on our experience was the bell hop gentleman during check in. I asked if he would take a luggage cart to my husband so he could unload the car while I checked in and he refused. He sat at his booth and watched me wheel it to the car. Then after we had freshened up and were heading to dinner he complained to us that we hadn’t brought the cart back to him. It really made us feel unwelcome. If we removed this person from our experience the stay and staff were ideal.

Very poor Rooms and cleanses not that much good , the break fast terrible, they are giving coupons to Resturant which you have to pay more than the breakfast out site even you have paid when you have booked. No coffee machine in the room even no kettle

Le prix du restaurant : Les taxes additionnelles au petit déjeuner : 20% pour les employés, 10% de taxes supplémentaires (?) 5% pour la Health San Francisco et on demande encore un pourboire, bref de 124 on est passé à 168$ pour un petit déjeuner à 4

Extremely well kept, felt safe and staff was welcoming.

Not sure why they do not keep their self service coffee available longer than 9:00 am. It should be available until closer to checkout time of 11:00 am.

Walking distance to Fisherman Wharf

The hotel entrance, rooms, hallways, elevators were not clean. I did not feel safe with my hotel room being street level.

Great location, good facilities and accommodating staff, thoroughly recommend.

The guys who helped with the car were awesome, they even helped with directions for us.

I had called prior to our stay and let them know there was a mistake that they had used my old last name and to please change it. All my cards were changed to my married last name, they assured me they would take care of it. I also asked them to put a heart of rose pedals on the bed. (which was not done). My husband was so upset the whole trip with the mix up of the name, we argued the whole time, I was told they were going to fix it and they did not we are close to divorce now. Thank you for this

Location, cleanliness, staff were accommodating, and the restaurant on site was great. The valet was nice, and it had a good view of the city from our room. The free wine and beer in the evening was a nice touch!

I can't say anything negative but it would be nice if they had an espresso machine and a bigger snack area since stores are not near the hotel.

As I stay for a race event (and a number of athletes were stating also) I would have preferred a continental breakfast the morning of the race. That wasn’t possible. The reception and bar staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent, im Zimmer konnte man flexibel kühlen und heizen.

Das Hotel war wohl früher erstklassig, ist aber mittlerweile abgewohnt. Die Ausstattung ist mindestens 20-30 Jahre alt; die Klimaanlage ist z.B. noch sehr laut. Der Preis war allerdings sehr hoch - über $700 pro Nacht für ein normales Zimmer - das ist sogar für San Francisco heftig. Und die vormals hippe Gegend bei Fisherman’s Wharf ist leider mittlerweile genauso heruntergekommen wie das Hotel - schade.

The property was not what I had expected as a Kimpton but staff made up for it. GM was wonderful helping out with car rental issues. The man doing the valet was beyond walking on water. Thanks to both of them for all they did

Located close to Fisherman's Wharf and Buena Vista, this is the best hotel for sightseeing in San Francisco.

Location is very good, and the overall hotel quality is pretty good, but way too expansive, even for SF standards.

Too expansive for what you get overall. Breakfast is a bit of a joke: they sell you a room with "breakfast included", and that means you will get a $50 voucher to spend at the embedded restaurant which is ABSOLUTELY NOT ENOUGH for three people. Also, what's even worse, is that the voucher is the same as if you are 2 or 3 people (per room instead of per person). Which means, if you are 3 people the included breakfast means an orange juice and a bagel, no more than that. SOLUTION: avoid getting the included breakfast package which is advertised and not really included.

Very basic hotel for what we paid. Bedside power points were broken so I couldn’t charge my phone, no other outlets available, I was told ‘they won’t be fixed’, asked for a bowl and cutlery - no. Aircon was very noisy. They take US$200 per night security hold which is HUGE!! All in all I was quite disappointed.

De kamer lijkt groter op foto dan in het echt, er was amper plaats om jouw valiezen open te leggen. De kamer zelf was wel heel netjes!

Tout, à commencer par la gentillesse et le professionnalisme de l'ensemble de l'équipe (des personnes à la réception jusqu'aux agents d'entretien, tous étaient très chaleureux et professionnels), mais nous avons également apprécié la propreté irréprochable de la chambre et, de façon plus générale de l'hôtel dans son ensemble, le vaste espace et l'équipement de la chambre, l'emplacement, etc. Tout était parfait pour nous ! The staff was very friendly, and the room was comfortable, quiet, and had nice ambient lighting and great blackout curtains. They were also very kind to leave us a gift for celebrating our anniversary. If you want Fisherman's Wharf it is very well located and reasonably priced (just don't bother with the upgraded view). Nice to have an afternoon happy hour. And I loved waking early and walking down to Pier 39 to have the sea lions to myself before the crowds arrive. They were very playful at 7:30AM!

The upgraded view wasn't as good as hoped when we paid extra for it. Couldn't see the Bay as promised. Looked out at a parking lot with Alcatraz in the background. The other thing is that since you are in Fisherman's Wharf it is mayhem with families overrunning the lobby. That's on me for staying at Fisherman's Wharf when I wanted it less frenetic, but I wanted to be near the water. Also, the public areas, while nicely decorated, were in some need of some touch up paint. It tried to be a bit hipster with the record players and vinyl in each room, but really it's a family hotel.

I liked the fact you supplied tea/coffee in the morning however I think it should be available till at least 10am for those guests who are on holiday

Das Hotel ist wunderschön und die Leute sehr freundlich, beim CheckIn bekommt man gleich Wasser mit. ich war zuerst etwas enttäuscht, weil ich ein Zimmer weit unten und direkt neben Gehsteig und Straße hatte, aber es war die ganze Nacht sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet(das Restaurant ist ein Michelin Restaurant), allerdings auch dementsprechend teuer. Für eine Person ist der 50€ Gutschein ausreichend, den man pro Zimmer fürs Frühstück bekommt, für mehrere wirds knapp. Personal superfreundlich und die Qualität und die Vielfalt der Spesen spricht trotzdem für sich. Die Lage ist hervorragend, in 2 Minuten ist man direkt im Geschehen von Fishermen's Wharf, in 10 Minuten am Pier 39 und auch die Golden Gate Bridge ist mit einem etwas längeren Spaziergang gut erreichbar. Auch Cable Cars um die Ecke, sowie die historischen Buslinien.

Loved the food in Abaca. Coffee station and social hour drinks were nice but limited places to take your drink. Wish there was an outdoor area or rooftop patio.

It took us 28 minutes to check in.

We hadden ‘met ontbijt’ geboekt, maar moesten echt bijbetalen. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopte echt niet (we hebben nml vergelijk met andere overnachtingen in dezelfde vakantie)

We were not able to stream movies. It wouldn’t allow us to cast the app to the screen. It would be nice to have tvs that have preset apps like Netflix, Disney already on there for guests to be able to login. We ended up watching whatever was on tv.

Todo estuvo bien. Lo mejor de nuestra estadía fue la atención de Yveey. La ubicación, la limpieza del lugar.

El personal fue correcto en su trabajo, sin embargo no hay esa disposición de que el otro "disfrute al máximo", esa "extra milla" que hace la gran diferencia.

The location of the hotel is great - right at the Wharf itself. The happy hour from 5 to 7 in the evening allows you to socialise with other guests at the hotel and the atmosphere is lively and celebratory. The rooms are big and comfortable with good view.

The payment system kept on charging us for extra days of the stay which caused some worry for us. However, the staff was patient and considerate in dealing with our questions.
