Clean hotel and room. Attached to a large shopping center with parking and access to transportation
Staff was exceptionallly helpful when persons in room above were continally disruptive with noise. We will be forever gratefull.
A functional transit stop on our route back to the ferry port. Very handy having the shopping mall next door with multiple dining options. The room was comfortable and functional. We would have preferred a China mug for our hit drinks that we could rinse out rather than single use paper cups (which we had to ask for more of) Very good breakfast buffet selection.
Lovely hotel .
We liked the proximity to the tram station. We didn't like the utterly useless aircon in the room, which meant we had a terrible night's sleep as we were too hot. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a decent night's sleep as a given when you book into a hotel.
Always a good choice for a stopover here. Good parking.. Always Busy in the lifts though!
Overal goog
Pool was packed, not surprising given the temperature. Check-in could be automated to speed it up, or as an option. Excellent beds, pillows and air conditioning. Breakfast was also very good.
We enjoyed our night's stay. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a very acceptable and peaceful dinner outside. Breakfast was also good. We will remember this hotel and stay again.
Ideal spot for short stays and access to the city center.
Good for a stopover and we’ve stayed here quite a few times. This time our room was a let down with no walk in shower and the shower over the bath had no water pressure.. and we didn’t get the city view shown on the booking.
Just good for a stop in the middle way back home
Lovely hotel and pool
Good
I've stayed here 4 times per year for the last 10 years and will do so again so I must be happy. I have given a happy review each time. This will be my last one ....
Beautiful hotel. Breakfast was excellent.very clean.
We were pleasantly surprised to be able to check in early, which really set a positive tone for our stay. It was such a relief to be able to settle in and freshen up after our journey without having to wait. The room itself was clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable—definitely one of the better ones we've slept in during our travels—and there was plenty of space around the room to neatly store our belongings, which made it easy to keep things tidy. The only drawback for me personally was the noise at night. I’m normally a deep sleeper, but I found myself waking up several times due to sounds from outside or possibly other rooms. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs just in case. On a positive note, the staff were mostly wonderful—friendly, polite, and ready to help whenever we had a question or needed something. Their warm demeanor really made us feel welcome. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider coming back. With just a little improvement in soundproofing, this place would be close to perfect.
The reception, bar and restaurant staff were great. Food was good - the chicken & bacon Caesar salad was one of the best. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the chamber maids hogging all the lifts at a peak check out time. My husband is elderly and struggles to walk, the maids with large linen trolleys would not allow any paying guests into the lift and one seemed to think it her right to allow a maid ( previously smoking at the front of the hotel) to jump the queue and get into the lift ahead of paying guests. I travel a lot on business and am a IHG Member and have never experienced such rudeness before. The maids should take their trolleys up early morning so not to inconvenience paying guests.
We stayed here for one night on our way to the French alps at it was a great hotel. Looked great from the outside and had a lovely bar inside, it’s also attached to a large shopping centre so we had a wonder around and a good choice of places to eat. The room was clean and beds were reasonably comfortable.
Great hotel I stay in regularly as I travel with small dogs staff very helpful location great
The best aspect of this hotel is the location. It is right on the tram line into the center of Dijon and the trams run frequently. Other Positives: Clean Comfortable bed Decent breakfast Good shower Many electrical outlets Reasonable sized room Helpful staff Next to a big mall if you need something while traveling, and mall offers alternatives for eating if you don't want to wait for the 7PM opening of the hotel restaurant Negatives: Very slow internet Limited shelf space and luggage space Chairs not very comfortable Dining room doesn't open until 7PM
Nice stay on our way back from South of France to Calais. Hotel attached to large upmarket shopping mall, with plenty of options for food (as well as very large carrefour). Hotel nice and modern, 2 double beds, although rooms a little warm. Bar nice with expensive drinks €8 for a beer. Breakfast was good with usual items present. All in all a good stay, with lots of amenities in the shopping centre.
Lovely clean hotel with great facilities. The car park is perfect for all size cars, the outdoor swimming pool is a wonderful experience, the spa with the Sauna & Steam room are a great way to relax, the room was spotless & very very comfortable. The breakfast was also excellent. All round super hotel. Staff were excellent. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. Brian, Dublin 🇮🇪
Love this hotel and surroundings. We stayed here two yrs ago at the beginning of our holiday and this year we stayed at the beginning and end of our month holiday. The journey through is so good on our way to Italy it’s a good stopover. With all amenities. Didn’t use the pool this year as we were too tired but also on our stay yesterday I noticed the pool and area was not as clean as expected. The restaurant food was amazing.
The hotel is conveniently located to a shopping centre. Room was so comfortable and spacious. Breakfast provided a good range. Ample parking. We really enjoyed the pool. Overall the hotel was a great experience with really lovely staff. Would recommend.
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights to break up our journey to the South of France. We had a family room which consisted of 2 proper beds. Very clean and bathroom was decent as well. Loads of free parking and easy to find. We went to the large shopping mall next door - our teenagers appreciated this! The tram stop is right outside the front of the hotel. We got a 24 hour pass for 4 people - unlimited tram travel for 24 hours. Only €9.45 for a group of 4 so very good value. Trams were about every 15 mins and this was on a public holiday for France and it was about 12 mins into centre of Dijon. Very pleased with this choice of hotel - ticked all the boxes for us.
Smart design. Convenient and easy to reach.
It wasn't my favourite place to stay. After being in France for 3 weeks and visiting some beautiful parts, if you want to make your journey home part of your experience don't book a place like this. Go for something unique. You will get more enjoyment out of it. That said it does what it says on the tin if that's your kind of thing. Whatever you do don't eat in the restaurant next to the hotel it is a disgrace and the food is awful. The hotel food looked a little better.
The hotel was ideally located for out one night stay on the way back from the South of France to the UK, with the centre of Dijon a 10 minute ride on the tram from outside the hotel. The adjacent shopping centre with good food outlets was a bonus.
Terrible customer service, AC wasn't working when it was 29C and we melting in that hot room. Called the reception and the lady hung up on me saying she can't help as the front desk it very busy. Never again
We love this place which is why we come back. The rooms and bathrooms are very nice and clean. The food was lovely for breakfast and next door have a shopping centre which is always great to have. What I wasn’t happy with is the centre closes to early.
very nice location.
Disappointing overnight stay. Had to ask for additional towels as only 2 in room for family of 4. 2 receptionists and queue of 10 people in front checking in. Morning of check out, 20 minute wait for lift.
The staff were great and the room as comfy. Breakfast was varied. Our biggest down sides we’re having trouble finding it and the eve chargers we’re only for Tesla. We had chosen it for the chargers so were disappointed that we had to make time for charging in the morning.
Very busy hotel. On check in the member of staff could have given us more information ie breakfast times, dining facilities, pool and gym location etc
The fact that they charge 20Eur/h(!) for a Tesla Destination Charger is like a bad joke, and probably also breaking the agreement with Tesla. Nice room, but AC not powerful enough to keep it cool. Breakfast was great!
Disappointed in this hotel. Room a bit dark and furniture rather shabby. The room was described as a city view but in reality it looked out over the roof and air conditioning units of the large shopping centre beside the hotel. The internet was awful. The common parts were better and there was a good restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Also easy parking.
Not as high end as you would expect for the price, needed a bit of tlc in the rooms specifically the bathroom as our toilet seat was hanging off!
Nice property with a great breakfast area and a super shopping center next door. Perfect stop in Dijon area.
Out of the city core in a shopping plaza, with a convenient trolley station right outside that gives you access to downtown. I liked the hotel for a nice room with decent amenities at a fair price.
Nice location for a car trip Back to London. Great breakfast, Nice staff and comfortable hotel but it is not a 4 stars hotel in general. Actually a 3.5 stars…
Very comfortable and friendly staff
Great stop through hotel on drive down through France.
A great hotel for a stopover on a journey down through France, from the UK. Clean and well organised.
This is a really smart good value hotel, which we’ve stayed at a few times to break up journeys south from the UK. Everything was generally really good, with the exception of not being able to get any hot water for a shower, for an early start in the morning. Otherwise, great.
The staff were particularly welcoming and helpful
Very useful hotel if you are travelling from uk to the South of France. It’s about half way! And has plenty of parking on site. It’s not pretty central Dijon but is clean, quiet, beds are good, lots of hot water and a decent on site restaurant. Plus the staff are kind and helpful.
Same as always .... I stayed here at least 25 times in the last 7 years and I have written as many reviews. Yes, I'm still happy.
Lovely hotel, but downgraded my assessment because one of the locks on the door was not working properly and we had to change the key several times and even then it didn’t work properly.
My husband, 12 year old son and i recently spent 1 night on our way from Chaminix to Paris. We enjoyed this hotel. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the dining was great!. This hotel is located near a shopping mall whcih was very convenient.
Very good staff and location with outdoors parking space. Check in and check out were easy. Rooms are good size and clean. Spa's available steam and sauna rooms were free but unmanned. The Spa staff were not helpful to first time users. Next door shopping mall was a plus.
Pros: staff and concierge were very professional and attentive. The parking is gated. It's right beside a mall which allowed us to enjoy other dining/snack options. Cons: Out of all the hotel stays in the France, our two days here were the most expensive. I couldn't believe that two rooms came out to $1425.00 for two nights. Still, it was last minute and we needed a place to stay between Avignon and Paris. We booked it based on reviews. Our room (502) had mold on the bathroom walls (we took pictures & video because we couldn't believe it), the towels smelled like old rags and the shower curtain had brown staining on it and also smelled. The A/C was malfunctionning and in this heat it was so hot in the room, they tried to repair it but it still didn't work. We were not offered another room. The restaurant food was overpriced, over seasoned and our hamburger was completely raw (we asked for medium). I would suggest staying elsewhere if you are able to.
We loved our stay from start to finish. The staff were friendly and very efficient, the room was spotless and perfect for us and the breakfast was fabulous - so much choice! The options for dinner were numerous too and ample parking.
We've stayed here some 4-5 nights a year in the last 7 years on our journey to the south of France and back. So, Iguess we must be happy.
lovely hotel very friendly staff
Convenient when travelling on the motorwave
Smart clean hotel in shopping complex. Great if passing through to go south.
Great stops ver hotel when driving through France also good for motorsports at Dijon Prenois circuit nearby
The hotel is nice and the location is great! The room could be a little cleaner.
Geoffrey was such an excellent representative of the hotel. He was friendly, helpful and accommodating and we can’t praise him enough. The maitre d in the restaurant was also helpful and friendly and recommended a delicious dinner selection for us.
Nice location. Very convinient. People at the front desk were nice, courteous, friendly and professional. Very fast checking in. Nice room, nice bed, everything was nice and clean......just great..thank you!.
Right up there with the best Holiday Inns, very helpful staff and a very nice restaurant. Its definitely in the notebook as one to stay in again when we are in this area.
When we first arrived, we were really impressed with the location and the fact that there was plenty of free parking right outside. When we went for a wander next door, we realised that there were many shops within a few minutes walk and this was a bonus. We stayed in the suite and first impressions were good. The room was clean and the view of the swimming pool was lovely. We used the pool which was warm and there were towels and sunbeds too. We didn't use the restaurant for dinner but we had a nice breakfast the next morning. We did have an issue with the bath in the room and in my limited French I attempted to relay this. The reception staff member was excellent and came to to the room to help and then apologised and escalated the issue to the duty manager. He came promptly, apologised that he couldn't rectify the issue that evening or move us due to it being busy, but offered a good discount to make up for the inconvenience. We'd paid upfront for the room via a booking agency and so were concerned that this refund may get lost but they duty manager wrote me a note promising their actions and within less that 48 hours we had received the monies back as promised. Can't fault the experience and we will definitely be back
Last minute booking excellent location next to the shopping centre and easy access to the tram network into the centre of town. Breakfast was excellent and the kids were happy with the free Wi-Fi and swimming pool.
Food at dinner was just amazing. As was the wine. The staff have great knowledge of local wines and match them brilliantly to foods. Breakfast was ok, not as good as dinner though! Pool is small as is the area around it. Rooms were clean and well maintained, aircon was powerful!
Loved it all! I even went for an evening swim before dinner. There’s a few floors which I wasn’t great with the lifts as the property is quite big.
We were wondering why the hotel had only 10 reviewes. When we arrived, we understood why - the hotel was biult 2 years ago and after that Covid arrived. So, in reality it is a brend new hotel. The rooms and the bathrooms are very spacios, everything is extreamly clean. I have been in many 4 star hotels in Italy which are levels below this hotel. There is on-site sequre parking, which is very convenient. Laura met us at the reception and her smile and wormth made us feel at home. The entire staff was amazing - friendly and ready to go an extra step to make our stay even better. They all speak English, so it was really easy. The hotel really earned 10 of 10!
Comfortable, better than expected. Convenient location next to the Toisson d'Or centre and the tram stop to access the city centre. Two nights weren't enough.
The pool closed at 8.
This is the best holiday Inn I ever stayed in. The service is 5 star. The rooms and amenities is exceptionally excellent. The staff are so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant and bar provides great food and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel. It is located next to a shopping centre which is brilliant. This hotel is even better than some of Marriott and Hilton I stayed in.
Great stay. Service was professionnal, friendly and very helpful. They even made reservation for us to go wine tasting. The hotel bar was great and the staff very friendly. They prepare a very nice iced coffee with vanilla. Ask for it, it's not on the menu. Location is very convenient with the tramway just outside the hotel and the mall next to it. There is a small but a nice swimming pool with a table to drink your cocktail with your feet in the water. Room was well equipped, clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great. Definitely recommend.
Nice hotel right next to a fantastic shopping centre. Only negative was the room key continually failed to open the door. Otherwise an excellent stay!
Close to train
Excellent facilities and customer service.
Staff friendly and helpful
Presently surprised by this hotel. Very clean, good facilities. Tasty food!
A clean modern hotel with friendly staff, easy parking, and EV charging points, including Tesla.
Very practical, easy to access, great on-site free parking. But a bit bland. More of a business hotel than a family hotel. Pool was fine, room clean and practical but no character. Overpriced for what you get I think >€200 for one room for the night. Good, if slightly chaotic breakfast mind
The hotel is quiet one next to a shopping center. However after 8 pm you can’t do anything but to go to bed. The area is very dead in the night
Great hotel. The best thing about it is that they have big free onsite parking right in front of the main entrance
We had a very pleasant stay in Holiday Inn. The hotel is adjacent to a shopping center which was a bonus, and is about 15 minutes drive from center of Dijon. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves exceptional quality, delicious food, a bit pricey but worth it.
I stop here usually a couple of times a year. I like the hotel and have no problems with it. I'm only writing this review to point out the total lack of social distancing regarding seating and poor organisation at breakfast. It was an overcrowded free for all. Holiday Inn, you need to do something about this.
Nothing to add. Stay one night, sleep and go. Don't even try to enjoy a coffee in the room.
We were very impressed with their breakfast!!
Great hotel, convenient access to a large mall and the tram line for downtown. Friendly staff, free parking, small room but typical for France. Only negative was the heat struggled to keep up and was loud.
Clean and comfort hotel with mall at close proximity.
Could not have been better
Good locations. Shops next door. Restaurant was good. Breakfast was very poor. Evening meals where excellent
Clean property, good staff. On-site restaurant is good.
Expected breakfast at this price but the shopping center next door saved the day. Conveniently located. Just ok.
Brand new. Clean. Good facilities nearby. Rooms well laid out. Very good breakfast
Comfy rooms, close to shops and restaurants, great breakfast, small but fun pool and lovely and clean sauna and steam room too. We use this hotel as a stop over on our journey to the south of France, it’s expensive but ensures our family of four all get a good nights sleep and a good breakfast before setting off again. Staff have always been very nice.
Good location near shopping centre. Formal restaurant is right beside pool, which is a bit odd.
Great location, next to Toison d’Or shopping centre, great restaurant
Quick check in and check out. Clean. Convenient parking.
Way too expensive. Pool tiny. Restaurant terrible and overpriced.
Perfect position for a hotel. Great facilities as we were there for short stopover on a longer journey. Welcomed the dip in the pool with our two teenagers. Shopping and alternative food/ drink options just two minutes from the door. Three family members slept well. Wife suffered with aching back the following day but that could also be due to the car journey too. Have stayed before and would stay again to break up the journey. Would recommend.
Ĺjhhhuüýþweet tyuiiookkjhgfddsasxxccvbnnnhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhggttt eewwwjj
Lots of restaurants near by. Close to motorway. Good facilities
We stayed at the Holiday Inn on the way to our final destination. Ticked all the right boxes. Quick to check in, comfortable, easy to park. The weather hampered our plans to go into Dijon centre and in that respect I wish I’d booked a more central hotel. We stayed in and relaxed although the following morning nearly had a heart attack to learn that a shot of vodka was 15 euros!
