Location & city sight.

Some of the lights didn't work. Neither the TV. The room wasn't cleaned during my stay.

Staff very friendly and helpful. We stay here often and look forward to coming back again.

La posizione è un po’ decentrata rispetto al centro di Boston, ma è ben servita dalla metro e nelle vicinanze si trovano diversi ristoranti. Particolarmente comoda se si viaggia in auto, anche se il parcheggio è a pagamento. Nel complesso un soggiorno confortevole e senza particolari problemi.

La colazione è discreta, ma l’organizzazione potrebbe essere migliorata. Abbiamo inoltre avuto qualche problema con i conteggi relativi al pagamento, che comunque è stato risolto successivamente. Nel complesso, piccoli inconvenienti che non hanno compromesso il soggiorno.

Had a mix-up with my reservation and Daniel and his team were so kind and prompt in resolving it. The true measure of customer service is not how you are treated when everything goes right, but rather, how you fare when things do not. This property is a gem and we will return every chance we get.

Everything was dialled and everyone wanted to help serve you or quickly get me checked in/out which I appreciated

The light from the parking lot bled directly into my room the whole night I had to close the blinds but the stay overall was great. Why is there no main lamp?

The room was dirty and the sofa bed was so filthy and stained that you couldn't even sit on it.

It was mainly quiet and they kindly checked us in early. The staff we’d very friendly.

Breakfast was good but there could be a wait time of up to 10 minutes because there are not enough tables.

Hotel bastante completo con habitaciones grandes y muchas comodidades. El desayuno es bueno, muy completo.

La ubicación no es la mejor, pero no supone un gran problema. Volver en Lyft desde el centro por la noche cuesta 10 dólares y hay opción de metro o autobús. Lo peor fue el ruido de las máquinas de climatización del hotel por la noche. Escogimos una habitación estándar y justo tras la ventana teníamos las máquinas haciendo ruido en todo momento.

Całkiem przyzwoite śniadania, jak na hotele w USA. Sporo świeżych owoców! Wesoła obsługa przy śniadaniu - jeden z kelnerów fajnie zagadywał do dzieci :) Parking na 2 noce był darmowy - tak trzymać!

Rezerwacja była na 3 osoby - 1 łóżko + rozkładane drugie - ale pościelii na 2gie nie przygotowano. Została dostarczona później. Nie działał też TV, choć po wizycie technika (który nie powiedział nawet dzień dobry... :( ) problem został rozwiązany.

Blackout curtains let in light, tv is outdated (no streaming services), but the absolute number one reason I rated 2 stars is despite most things being clean, the shower drain was clogged with hair 🤢 pictures show it was not mine...

I live in Boston but needed a place to recuperate from knee surgery, so I spent 9 nights at the Holiday Inn, Somerville. The staff are 10 out of 10 -- the nicest. The room (a handicap accessible) was very good quality for the price. Yes, the place, decor, etc. is a bit dated (they're taking their time entering the 21st Century). But everything was clean and it was quiet. Toward the end I even ventured down to the bar (not for alcohol) where the bartender was, like all the staff, very attentive. So -- no, it's not beautiful. But they make up for it with clean rooms, a good mattress, and lovely staff. Also, the view from my room was.....interesting! You have the old Schrafts building in the distance, flag-topped, of course; the double decker highway (a good ways away); the Orange Line beneath that; planes taking off from Logan, sometimes one every few minutes; 5 smokestacks; a turbine windmill; a huge billboard (for a personal injury lawyer); a crazy mix of old and new houses; and an auto repair shop across the street. Add in the big orange cube about half a mile away, that, I think, is a gas station. At night, all lit up, the panorama was actually kind of beautiful. And quiet.

I responded in detail to the hotel directly. a real shit show.

Great location near the T green and orange lines and several bus lines, close to Union Square Somerville and the hotel is clean, comfortable and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Only one elevator worked and if you dont rush right in the door closes and your stuck waiting for it again.

Wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Cambridge! Alex and Danny were very helpful!

We stayed here for a week. Food from the bar was great, good size rooms, clean with all the amenities required. A special mention to Danny, the Operations Director. Such a polite and courteous guy. We had a good chat whilst he was covering the bar. Anything you need help with is never too much trouble. Thanks for a great stay Michelle UK

Free shuttle service from the hotel to various Boston sites (Museum of Science, Aquarium, etc.) Breakfast was good. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

Had to change room because one bed was broken. Pool was closed because due to "unforeseen circumstance". It did reopen the next morning. We were not told that children under 11 ate for free in the hotel restaurant until after we had gone out to eat. I even asked about options at the front desk. Thought they would have shared that information with us since we had children with us.

I had a great stay! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus. I’d definitely stay here again when visiting the Boston/Cambridge area.

No geral, o hotel é confortável e está bem localizado, com fácil acesso às duas principais linhas de comboio que ligam ao centro de Boston.

O isolamento acústico do quarto é fraco, permitindo a entrada de ruído do trânsito. Além disso, a limpeza nem sempre foi efetuada com o devido cuidado, tendo-se verificado acumulação de pó nos móveis durante a estadia.

The maid service was impressive. The carpet, towels and bedding were nice and clean. The parking lot is nice. I did not like the shower temperature control. It was hard to set the dial between scalding hot and cool. If you have kids or teens, definitely help them with this. With younger kids, keep them away from the dial, because we are talking scalding water. The tile on the bathroom floor is very slippery when wet. Bring water shoes.

Good location close to orange line train, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and had plenty of space and toiletries were good. Coffee in reception and coffee machine in room.

All good, just the price which was obviously increased due to the football, it was high and not even having breakfast included at that price was a lot.

Me and my family had to wait 1 1/2 hrs in our car because the rooms weren't ready for us to check in.

Accoglienza veloce e poco cordiale. Toglierei la moquette da ovunque. Il rifacimento della camera va richiesto (così mi hanno detto quando ho posto il problema che la mia camera non era stata rifatta, anche se il bagno era stato pulito). Ristorante dell’hotel troppo costoso per una cena semplice (due insalate 47€, tra l’altro se mancano degli ingredienti non te lo vengono nemmeno a dire e non te li scalano dal prezzo). Termostato in camera apparentemente funzionante, ma di notte non mantiene la temperatura richiesta (impostato su 24°C, la mattina svegliati con 18°C). Il parcheggio dell’hotel (immenso) costa 20$ al giorno.

We had an unfortunate experience with a security guard and my minor child. Very inappropriate and scary situation. Also was told my room was being refunded on 4/9 and still waiting to receive it. Every time I call I get told no one is available to help me and I’ve sent multiple emails. Don’t go here!!

The property was extremely unclean. There were stains all over the room, makeup on the bed and pillows, and hair all over the shower walls. It was absolutely disgusting. Besides being dated, some cabinets didn’t open properly, none of the outlets outside of the bathroom worked, the room curtains literally didn’t close so it was bright all night, and the shower took over 10 minutes to get warm. The staff were also not competent. I waited over an hour to get checked in and was completely forgot about after being told to wait (mind you I sat directly in front of the desk so this wouldn’t happen) and then was giving attitude when I asked if the room was ready. I also am an IHG Diamond Elite member and was not offered any of those amenities, including the parking. This was a truly terrible stay and not worth the money.

Taj. Was really Profesional and have great customer service and very friendly.

The room and location where pretty nice. The Hotel is an 8 minute walk from the Sullivan Station, that can take you basically anywhere. The room was also quite nice, with good space and confortable beds. I wish the shower was a bit better, I felt like it was always either too hot or too cold, but I think that was an specific issue with my shower and I chose not to bother them with it.

The restaurant is very basic and the restaurant staff was extremly rude to me. From the moment I sat on the bar this young lady was extremely rude, to a point that I chose to eat in my room and not to tip her. She obviously got pretty mad that I didn't tip her, so she started complaining and saying quite nasty things. I am quite sure thats why there was a hair in my food once I got to the room... All other staff in the hotel were very kind though.

My dad and I had to book 3 different reservations because of a volleyball tournament and the workers were very understanding and patient! Rooms were nice and clean. We used the pool for team bonding and had a lot of fun with the mini basketball court and games there.

Great location to metro. Easy to navigate from to other locations. Safe. Clean. Excellent breakfast. Great pool and gym. Taj T. Gave excellent service. Would def go back.

The location was perfect, the pool area with a basketball court was fun, and the staff was friendly.

I tried to request a king bed, but unfortunately the property can not guarantee a bed size when booking rooms and I was given two double beds instead, not idea for a couples vacation.

Electrical in the room was faulty. One lamp did not turn on at all. Keurig was not working. Shower was not good. Needs an upgrade. Workout room had a funny smell.

Dirty, mold in bathroom, steel wool in shower used to block a hole, could easily hear the neighbors through the wall, there was a tissue box cover in the bathroom but no tissue box, disgusting shmeg behind the toilet paper dispenser, shmeg behind the soap bottles, the door to the refrigerator cabinet was broken and wouldn’t stay closed. The front desk staff weren’t approachable or personable.

エレベーターの近くの部屋に泊まったが、ものすごい音がするのでレセプションに事情を話して部屋を変えて貰おうとしたところ、「あなたの予約はエレベーターの近くで騒音がある部屋だから安かった。今度から予約する際には注意書きをよく確認した様が良いですよ」と言われた。もちろんBooking.comの明細にはそのような事は書かれていない。 最終的には別の部屋に変えてはくれたが、この一件で私はこのホテルの対応に不信感を抱いた。 その他にも味は悪くないが毎日全く同じメニューの朝食、壊れた入り口のドア、ほとんど選択の余地が無い近隣のレストラン、ホテル内にバーもない、など色々な意味で支払った高い宿泊費に見合った滞在とはとても言い難いと思った。
