The level of the hotel in general has declined a lot, as there is only one employee who did all the work, which is unacceptable.

The facilities and the size of the appartment were great. There is a living room, a kitchen, utensils, a freezer, and everything that you expect in a homestay. It was a great stay for our family.

A bit more attention towards maintenance and upkeep of the facilities would make it more superb. Like the oven burner in our flat was malfunctioning and the staff couldn’t repair it although he tried.

I was going to stay in this hotel coming first time into Hurghada, I reserved the stay more than 2 weeks prior. At first they weren't responsive and turned out the receptionist barely speaks English. On the booking site there is a airport transfer option and after using google translate and whatsapping in Arabic, they responded to take Uber. Coming quite late and as a solo female traveler, it was already bad enough, but I couldn't cancel. After arrival they gave me a room which looked like a spare room, nothing I reserved. It did not had balcony, kettle, bath tub etc., was quite dirty and smelled from cigarettes. I had 6 days booked and even not needing much there are some things why I book stays, which were not provided. They told me that I can move to a room I booked in 2-3 days, without offering compensation, so I refused and I left on the next day. I had an Egyptian friend there to talk with them, because before that they didn't even bother. First I asked them to cancel with booking, so I could get my refund, but they refused. So they agreed they will provide a letter for booking to explain the situation. Later when I stayed alone, they called the owner, probably trying to scare me and he refused to provide proof for cancelation but still told me, if I cancel with booking, they will confirm it. Nothing of that happened and booking.com said they didn't get to mutual agreement and did not refund me anything. This place doesn't worth the stay and also should not be advertised as it is, especially on booking.com. They did not allow me to write a review on their web. I still have a dispute with booking, as they procedures are on the edge of being legal. Basically both parties pointed fingers to the other, that one couldn't refund me, because the other had the money and reverse. I don't even know who ended up with the payment at the end, but surely none of them where treating me as a customer who paid for a service and they just went on with they scamming businesses. Not mentioning all the stress from the situation. So especially as a solo traveler, I would be more cautious next time, also with booking.com.

Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. The receptionist was the only staff member, and from the beginning, we felt uneasy. He took my phone number without permission from the information sheet we filled out and started messaging me on WhatsApp, insisting on going for coffee or a walk together. Even though we had a Do Not Disturb sign on our door, he kept insisting on seeing us, and at one point entered our room and refused to leave, offering towels and other things we didn’t need. We had requested to extend our stay by one more night at the time of booking, and after a full month of insisting, he finally replied saying we had to pay in cash at the property instead of through Booking. On the evening of that extra night, he suddenly told us we had to move to another room because ours was already booked. When we asked for our money back due to all the issues, he initially refused to return it, and only did so after we insisted strongly. On top of all that, the apartment was not clean. The hot water lasted less than 3 minutes, the stove didn’t heat up enough to cook, and the “clean” towels he insisted on giving us were stained. We felt unsafe and harassed. Avoid this property, especially if you are a woman

We arrived at the time arranged but the guy managing the place was asleep. He told us to wait in reception and we heard him hastily cleaning somewhere . He proceeded to take us to the apartment ...with a wet floor ... that was the size of a cupboard and not the one I had booked. He showed us another one but still did not have the balcony or washing machine as described in the booking . The third one he showed us was bigger but still no balcony or washing machine . I gave up by then and agreed to that one ....at least it had a bath. I imagine when this place first opened that it was lovely but it has not been maintained or cleaned properly for years . The door handle to the bathroom was on the sink in pieces. The kitchen tap was very wobbly and the cabinets were dirty and sticky . The sheets on the bed were pilled and knobbly and were stained as were the white towels . At least there was plenty of hot water as the water heater was in the bathroom.

Great room with a great layout and a terrible location in a dirty under construction area

The receptionist didn't understand anything at all and the internet didn't work. In addition, he was annoying and intrusive and seemed to be watching. But communication with the employee was very difficult. Packs of wild dogs barked outside the windows at night and it was impossible to sleep.

It s very close to shops and place is good size. Ragab( the reception guy) is always available and friendly. Can't beat the price/ quality . Highly recommend it

I didn’t have the breakfas5 ,but as I live in Egypt I can only image it be a true Egyptian wonderful one .

If there was a oven ,not just microwave ,it be ideal for longer staying guests

Don't be fooled by Booking.com's false and misleading photos, Kite Lodging is nothing like what you see in their pictures. Please view the photos included in my review. They are exactly what Kite Lodging truly is like. The following is exactly what we experienced. At Kite Lodging, water was leaking on the bathroom floor, and we had no hot water for 19 days. The pillowcases were dirty and hair and bed bugs were on the mattress. The wifi was almost nonexistent. The apartment was filthy with mould and mildew everywhere. And there was dust and dirt on everything; Also, there was no oven, no washing machine, no breakfast and no hot tub as falsely advertised. The garden view is a rundown neighbourhood with litter everywhere. There are wild street dogs that bark all night, keeping you awake. The hallway has rubbish overflowing and the odour is nasty. This is the filthiest old rundown disgusting place we have ever stayed. If this were in Europe, the health department would close them down for numerous health violations. I advise anyone that is thinking of staying at Kite Lodging to run as fast as possible to get away from this filthy old rundown dump. Be very cautious of some of the people who are giving Kite Lodging a good review, take note that some of them only stayed just one to a few nights and give little to no description with none of them posting any pictures. They are either fake or people who come from a similar filthy environment that can tolerate these kinds of horrific conditions. Believe me, Kite Lodging is exactly as I described in my review again, look at the pictures I attached. they tell the truth as pictures never lie. The bottom line is that kite lodging is so bad it should be condemned and shut down as it's not suitable for human life. Kite lodging is not taking this seriously. This kind of filthy environment is a health hazard, therefore a very serious matter.

Didn't use the breakfast but the room itself had everything I needed. Super comfortable bed and good appliances.

I found some hairs that were definitely not mine and there was smoke from the downstairs corridor continuously coming into my room which wasn't very nice.

The apartments was comfortable, clean and a good size. The location is safe and in walking distance near restaurants and beaches.

The wifi didn't work. If you like street food and like to eat where the locals eat, the location isn't good for that.

Disliked ·Everything, We did not have any hot water for 19 days. The wifi was little to none. The apartment was filthy with mould and mildew everywhere. It was not clean well, there were too much mosquitos, there was no reception wait for long time, breakfas was included but not given , nobody was there

For the price the accommodation was excellent, good size rooms and excellent shower.

The hotel is in an area that attracts a lot of street dogs,that bark non stop throughout the night,way into the early hours, if you are a light sleeper you will struggle here, not the hotels fault but bear this in mind if choosing to book.

Do not book this apartment, after showing up at 11pm with a booking I pre paid they advised me that they didn’t have a room and suggested I share a room with the elderly gentleman owner. First time this has ever happened to me after travelling to over 60 countries. DO NOT BOOK

Very nice apartment, has everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped.

It's kinda difficult communication with the hotel, because a young guy from the staff can't really speak English. There was no possibility to check in earlier, even in the situation the room was not booked for the night before. If you have any special needs as early check in, it' s probably better to go somewhere else, here it's better for longer term stays. The real mínus was that floor wasn't wiped in the apartment. We were also disappointed, because we had breakfast included for the first night of stay, but they refused to serve us it that day and postponed it for tomorrow (they probably didn't do shopping for the breakfast). There's not really 24 hrs reception, but the staff guy lives inside and you can beep the ring any time.

The apartment was nice. It felt very homely.

Unfortunately the WiFi at times was cutting off and we had to wait several hours for the WiFi to come on back on again. There were a few mosquitoes in my bedroom but I resolved this problem by using my spray. The shower was cold and unfortunately throughout my stay me and my family had to shower in cold water

We stayed at Kite Lodging for two nights before heading out on a Diving Liveaboard from Hurghada. It was perfect for what we needed, close to the airport and we were to check in really early. Hurghada itself is a bit of a walk- no problem for us- but there is no shortage of taxis, either. In short, good value, friendly, uncomplicated service and a well equipped little apartment. Would definitely stay again. 😊

The apartment was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The people working here are so nice, very agreeable, and attentive if we needed something. Said was helpful and recommended a really good sushi restaurant nearby. Thank you!!

Here we go. The real wild par is at the end: * The room barely matches the photos. Everything is worn out, and unpleasant. The room differed from the one we paid for. With smaller windows instead of large ones, a small fridge instead of a large one, and it felt about one and a half times smaller. The problem is that Said, instead of changing it to the promised one, just kept feeding us promises every day; * The room was dirty. and the floor was soapy; * Constant smell of smoke coming from somewhere; * Not enough toilet paper; * The kettle was broken - it wouldn't turn off automatically; * The fridge & stove was dirty, greasy; * Until I left a tip, the cleaner named Regapt didn’t clean properly. But as soon as I left one, he started cleaning in such a way that it would have been better if he hadn’t: the floor became even more soapy; * Practically no soundproofing. Dogs bark all night, and in the morning around 9, they start a powerful construction outside the window; * The cleaner ignores the "DND" sign hanging on the door. I had an important call when he started ringing the doorbell; * The breakfast is just bad: toast bread, sugar in various forms, and two eggs; * The hotel manager is very unfriendly and rude. When we approached him, he didn’t even look my way or shake the offered hand; * And the cherry on top: my nail clippers were stolen from the bathroom. Just like that. I simply left them on the glass shelf, and when leaving, I saw that they were gone. I am absolutely sure that I didn’t take them, and no one other than the hotel staff (obviously, from room cleaning) could have taken them either. The clippers a gift from my father. But it never crossed my mind that someone would steal them. Before leaving, I made it clear that I was aware they were gone, giving them a chance to "find" and return them to me without losing face.

First of all Its our pleasure to meet Sayit so much who was a employee of the hotel.He was so helpful,so kind and amazing man.He can always ask you if you need anything and try to help you.Hope that everything is going to be great for him all the time.The hotel was super.You can feel yourself like at home seriuosly.There is everything inside the room . refrigerator, stove, microwave etc.You can cook for yourself if you want.This is not a small room you can thing that its like a 1+1 apartment in the hotel.The location is also nice its like resort area for going to down town is 2-3 km.You can get a taxi by uber like 30-40 egytp pound.Shortly we loved that place.Everyone can stay without any doubt.

Everything was Perfect.

Said is very warmhearted and considerate, the room is good and closed to the sea side and center. It’s a pity we only stay here for one night. Hope revisit Kite lodging again, thank you Said and wish you all the best.

The apartment was complete and had a nice bedroom and living room with sofa and TV's in both rooms, the bed was very comfortable, it was clean and the man of the 24h reception was the best. He was super kind and welcoming, helped us wherever he could and spoke English.

The neighbourhood is a bit dark at night and not the coziest, but by taxi it is only a 5 minute drive to the touristic center of Hurghada. The breakfast was simple and not freshly cooked (packaged), but we were well informed about that by the kind man of the reception before ordering.

The location was very quiet and peaceful but with building work being done around the area, this did not effect our stay at Kite, it remained a very peaceful place. The interior is very modern and kept lovely and clean at all times by the very professional staff on site 24hours. The apartments are modern and well set out with everything you need. Internet is great and satellite TV including Netflix. Congratulations to the two staff at Kite for there excellent help when needed, communication and two very polite and professional people, thank you to both Said and Raggy (hope I have spelled that right) you both made our stay so wonderful. The person at the reception (cannot remember his name) was super nice and responsive to all our requests. Breakfast was very good (for a guest house) Room is equipped with small kitchen for longer stays. Place is very clean and close to the touristic walking area (Mamsha Seyahi)

Overall it was pleasant but my issue was that I called before booking to confirm late checkout due to flight schedule and the person that answered the phone confirmed that it is not a problem and that it is okay. However, after reservation the answer changed to "subject to availability"! I understand that but they should have gave the same answer when I called over the phone. As I have small children and need to plan accordingly. It was not a nice feeling at check-in but they showed some flexibility at the end (after several hours from check-in) and added an extra two hours to the normal checkout time. Not a big problem but communication should be clear from the beginning!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Kite Lodging, and I was a bit disappointed in how the attention to detail in cleaning was not at the level it should be. The bathroom floor needs a good scrub. The toilet had a slow leak as wet floor without use, and the hose for washing after was all rusted, and that's an easy fix to keep standards up at little cost. I believe it's local male staff that clean, so taking that into account may explain why small things are missed as their attention to detail isn't always meeting western standards but in all fairness that's country wide. I'm hoping that this feedback will change things as I'd like to see this business continue but at a higher standard of cleanliness as that's what retains customers and sets you apart from other places to stay in the business of accommodations.

NEVER to live this hotel ! 1. location: even the 2 local drivers can not find by Google map. 2. Its surrounding 60M is wild，few light,too dark! 3. Wild dogs (photo)BARKING EVERY nights , downstairs 30meyer away from room no. 21, 23, 25. Barking every am 00 to am 3:50, noise ! 4. No shawl water in room No. 21 while we check in. 5. Old owner smoking inside the narrow lobby (time 15:27, 23/Nov/2023), sloppy. 6. Refrigerator (ice frozen area is frozen strady at, how long they did not clean ? 7. Room 25, heat water flow is weak! Very clean, modern. The reception staff member who seems to work 24/7 is very kind and polite and friendly. Great customer service. Good amount of space. Two beaches within walking distance. Would stay again. Seems to be in a random location down some side roads when you arrive but the accommodation is totally fine.

The place is clean but the decor could do with updating. The bathroom grouting is stained and the living room rug is old. There's are some other things that need to be updated to really feel clean. The bath tub/shower area is small as an FYI.

Loved this place, really helpful management and terrific value. Stayed there either end of a diving holiday. Clean and spacious little apartments with kitchen, bathroom, balcony, bedroom and living room. Also liked that it felt egyptian, I'm not a big fan of large generic hotels either for their cost or ambience.
