It was a surprise to find breakfast was included. Lovely breakfast room. Good muesli and yoghurt, and three types of cake! No decaf tea, but plenty of herbals .

Could have offered decaf tea.

What a gem in the middle of Orvieto. Anything we wanted to see was a short walk away. The staff, especially Rita, were so lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, definitely one of the better breakfasts we have had in Italy. There is also a beautiful garden with wonderful views of the city. We will definitely return and hope to bring other family with us.

The shower had very little water pressure, but then my spouse opened the hose and cleaned out what was blocking it. After that the water pressure improved.

Atmosfera rilassante, luogo silenzioso, ma centralissimo, confermo tutto quello che ho letto nelle recensioni, inclusa una nota di merito per la signora Rita della reception, gentilissima e disponibilissima... Per chi non cerca strutture lussuose, ma semplici, pulite ed essenziali, che riportino indietro nel tempo, consiglio vivamente un soggiorno in questo luogo...

Soggiorno perfetto per posizione, servizi, pulizia. Rita è davvero accogliente e disponibile. La mia stanza ( la n. 15) aveva una vista eccezionale sulla vallata. Se dovessi ritornare ad Orvieto pernotterei di nuovo qui.

Se proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell' uovo, sarebbe stato comodo un piccolo frigo in camera.

Очень атмосферный сам по себе отель. Просто 10 из 10 вид с балкона. Можно каждый день смотреть рассветы и закаты с панорамой на долину. Номер очень чистый, тихо по вечерам, спать очень комфортно. Понравился вход по коду, удобно. Очень вежливый персонал отеля, приятные люди. В отеле есть завтрак, все вкусное и свежее. Расположение отличное,в центре и до всех достопримечательностей буквально рукой подать. На площади несколько ресторанов, продуктовый тоже совсем рядом. До фуникулера/автобуса вниз буквально 12 минут пешком. Wi-fi работает супер!

Напор воды очень слабый в душе, фен все время перегревается, невозможно сушить волосы. Несмотря на все это, я бы выбрала этот отель еще раз и посоветовала знакомым.

Guesthouse receptionist Rita was excellent, very helpful, lots of good local suggestions. Located on edge of one of the main Plazas, and close to all the many great attractions . Make sure you do the Underground City Tour!?

El trato al cliente es estupendo. Tuve un problema con el aire acondicionado y lo resolvieron muy rápido. El personal es amable, cálido y muy atento. El edificio está bien cuidado (es un edificio antiguo y se ve pero no crea grandes inconvenientes) y la habitación tiene de todo. El desayuno es generoso en ricos dulces. Las vistas desde mi habitación eran maravillosas.

Tudo: limpeza, instalações, atendimento, localização, conforto e um bom café da manhã.

Das ehemalige Kloster ist zum Nächtigen sehr zu empfehlen. Alle sights sind um die Ecke. Die Klosterschwestern sind in ihrer 'Tracht', das ist auch nochmal sehr besonders. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück wurde in Buffetform angeboten. In der Nacht ist es sehr ruhig. Die Aussicht vom Balkonzimmer ist sehr malerisch, auch blickt man in den hübschen Klostergarten.

This is a simple, clean and tranquil boutique hotel. Despite the language barrier requests for transport and other services were gladly organised. Lovely garden. Simple breakfast but lots of options.

We were 6 friends travelling together and absolutely loved our stay. The premises full of history, the atmosphere, the comfortable rooms with balconies, the garden, the ideal location in magnificent Orvieto and above all the wonderful welcome from Rita!

I didn't know what to expect in this location, but the staff were excellent, the accommodations were impressive, they provided a breakfast in the morning. I was very pleasantly surprised with this location. I found the hotel to be very close to the historic area of Orvieto as well.

The location was fab. My room was breathtaking! (no.15 - the BEST!!) And Rita on Reception was adorable, and really great to liaise with. The Sisters were also a quiet reassuring presence, and I loved the background of prayer and worship, even though I'm not religious.

Breakfast is my ONLY criticism! It was simply terrible. Inedible! Awful machine coffee, white bread, sugary processed food - nothing healthy to eat at all. I went out!

I have stayed here several times. It is always my go to place in Orvieto. Not many amenties, but it iis clean, staff is awesome and location is convenient..

Showers could be a little larger. A large person would not fit in it. If you are looking for amenities, they are not many.

Breakfast was all that we required. Available early enough and for ling enough.

Perhaps some outdoor seating to enjoy the view and the sun.

Staff were lovely, room was large and our window had a view to the hills. The location is convenient for exploring the town, and Rita, at the desk, took time to go over the map with us. It's a peaceful place to come back to after a busy day.

Расположение прекрасное, завтрака в мое время года не было, но я была покорена персоналом. Во-первых, Рита "выловила" меня на улице, когда я запуталась в навигаторе. Во-вторых, поскольку гостиница была пустая, меня поселили в более дорогой номер - с невероятным видом за окном.

Уменьшить аскетизм проживания - в номере не было ни чашки, ни ложки, ни тарелки. Не говоря уж про электрический чайник. На три ночи мне выдали один кусочек мыла и один пакетик шампуня - это все.

Belle surprise de constater que les planchers étaient chauffants. Balcon avec vue sur la vallée. La télé avec le cable.

Bruyant pour fermer/barrer la porte pour soi et les portes voisines. Les gens autour revenaient le soir à n'importe quelle et je n'ai presque pas pu dormir de la nuit, étant constamment surprise par le claquage de porte et le bruit pour débarrer. Je pensais que l'endroit avait un couvre-feu pour l'heure de retour le soir... cela aura été favorable pour tous.

Struttura antica ma nel complesso non male. Bagno datato: doccia non perfettamente funzionante con flusso acqua debole e irregolare e scarico otturato.

I knew going in that the Institute was owned by an order of nuns, so I expected it to be clean, modest, and minimal. To our surprise we were informed that breakfast was included. Rita, the receptionist was remarkably friendly and did just about everything there, including showing us to our room, a triple (due to the fact that all the doubles had already been booked). The breakfast had very little on offer, several types of fruit, yogurt, a few pastries, one cold cut, one type of cheese, a choice of 2-3 cereals, one type of bread, and coffee, served in a paper cup. In photos the double rooms were much smaller with wooden floors. We had 2 double beds and a tile floor. Unfortunately several of the tiles were cracked and uneven in both the bedroom and the very small, very old bathroom. I was happy to have brought my own slippers to avoid having to walk on them barefooted. The beds were comfortable, but the linens were very thin, including the blanket. I see a lot of room for improvement. The room was so spare and old that I didn't take photos The location made up for much of the above complaints, and Rita was a real asset to her employers. However, after seeing some short term rentals nearby on Booking.com that were full apartments with modern amenities at lower prices, I feel we overpaid for what we rented. Supporting the religious order was what motivated me with my choice. In retrospect, next time I'd chose one of the STR places and send a donation to the Instituto. There is plenty to see in Orvieto, and they have many good restaurants, but there is very little taxi service and no Uber, so make reservations for a taxi the day ahead of when you need it. I only saw 3 drivers in the 4 days I used them and 2 drove the same vehicle.

The white furniture in the room we had was inferior to the dark wood furniture that was shown for the double rooms. The cracked tiles should have been recemented to avoid accidental injury, and a heavier blanket would be a big improvement. If you want to serve food, at least use earthenware so the coffee stays warm. No breakfast at all may have been better. The last 2 photos show the back of the hotel and the view.

Walls are paper thin when it comes to sound . Talking on the phone even will wake up your next door guest.

Muy buena ubicación y fundamental , que cuenta con estacionamiento en el lugar. Es un instituto religioso, pero se respira mucha tranquilidad , respeto y hay libertad para moverse en todo momento. Las habitaciones muy cómodas y bien calefaccionadas

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch das Personal. Die Lage mitten in der Stadt ist perfekt für die Besichtigung Orvietos. Der hauseigene Parkplatz ist auch ein Pluspunkt. Der Eingang ist allerdings etwas mühsam zu finden (wir kamen im Dunkeln an).

Having stayed in accommodation run by a Holy Order in Italy before , I knew these places represent great value for money, and so while accommodation and decoration is plain and simple, in that context the stay was excellent and I'd go there again. It was a bit chilly but other people I knew staying in fancier apartments (during a music week I was involved with) also couldn't have their heating on. Extremely comfy bed, ample duvets and extra blankets and a good shower that heated up within seconds. Friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous view from my balcony. Conveniently, the best coffee had in Orvieto was in the cafe next to the Palace de Popolo, and best restaurant Giardino de Giovanni (out of 4 sampled during the stay) both under 100m from the SS Salvatore's front door.

Breakfast choices a bit limited but if they'd provided any more it would hard to make any kind of profit from the low rates charged

Das ganze Haus war kalt und hätte eine Heizung gebrauchen können , die Dusche gab nur spärlich Wasser .Bescheidenes Frühstück im kalten Saal.

Personalet var særdeles venlige og gav os et værelse med terrasse og den skønneste udsigt, som vi kunne sidde og nyde solnedgangen på om aftenen. De hjalp også med en adaptor til vores stik. Og med parkering på deres P-plads til bare 10 euro om dagen. Indretningen var meget enkel og helt uden luksus, men sengene var OK og vi savnede ikke noget:) Det var interessant at bo på og mærke stemningen på et kloster.

Lidt frugt og lidt mere pålæg til morgenmaden ville have været dejligt.

It was rather chilly in the room in the evening, but not a big problem. Just bear in mind that it's quite a simple accommodation. If you want more luxury o romance, there are probably better (but more expensive) options (However, the balcony is very romantic!:)
