The Lake Hotel

Great pool facility. Staff were friendly . Convenient pittstop . Breakfast selection was great .

Restaurant food was a let down for dinner , wait staff were exceptional but the cook must having a bad night .

The lake hotel is a pleasant place to stay. Its beautiful location offers peaceful surroundings. The swimming pool is enjoyable, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and attentive, and breakfast includes a variety of fresh and tasty options.

Sehr geschmackvolle Ausstattung. Sehr freundliches Personal. Alles super sauber.

Nice and cozy hotel with easy to find and part location by the lake! Comfy rooms with everything needed in them. Surprisingly good breakfast!

We tried the 3 desserts offered at the lobby bar/restaurant. Probably the 3 worst desserts that we've ever tried with the "Tiramisu" winning the worst prize ever! Just fix your desserts or don't offer them as it spoils the perfect impression!

Everything

Well located next to the Lake. Our room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and there were lots of choices. Plenty of parking and the hotel is extremely well maintained.

We advised the staff that the hair dryer was not working but they did not replace it - even though we mentioned it at the start of our stay. Also, we were informed at check in about a Wedding event on Sunday night - however they did not advise us that the pool area would close around 4pm. As it was a very hot day we were disappointed that the pool was out of action and the bar area would be closed.

Nice big rooms, very good breakfast, nice pool with great cocktails

Just the general atmosphere & location

Eggs could be cooked fresh, otherwise all were nice and fresh

Tutto

It was clean and quiet

You need to pay for latte in breakfast. That’s the first time I heard about it. And it was expensive. Not fair…

All. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was extremelly nice.

Everything just perfect, very nice restaurant also!!

Nice hotel, our double bed was comfortable but the single bed was hard and narrow our son slept with us in our bed. The pool was very nice and the staff friendly, the drinks at the bar were nice and very fair priced. Definitely recommend a drink at night with a pool view from above.

We found cockroach in the bathroom.

Everything it was impeccable

Great service! Lovely pool, and yummy breakfast that was popular with the whole family.

Great staff, room and breakfast. We arrived late, and the pool was already closed, but they still let us go for a short swim after work.

Being close to the community sport center, there is some noise, but tolerable.

Everything

Really pet friendly hotel with beautiful garden

Clean and spatious resort with nice pool and restaurant

Hermoso edificio, excelente restaurante, linda piscina, excelente atención!! Super bien ubicado. Lo recomendaría sin dudas!!

Nada

The hotel itself is a fine looking building with well tended beautiful gardens. My room was comfortable and spacious with everything I needed. Breakfasts had a good choice, with the hot breakfast well cooked. The reception staff were kind, friendly and helpful.

For me it does not warrant 5* The dreadful canned music from the pool bar is still audibly when patio doors to bedroom are closed; as are the screaming kids playing football next door or jumping into pool. Once doors closed you should not be able to hear anything from outside. My time by the pool was spoilt by local youths running around screaming, bombing into the pool and having no consideration to guests. Not what I expect from a 5* hotel. It’s like two different enterprises. One tries to maintain standards; one does not by allowing locals to rampage around. I will not be returning unless all this changes.

Breakfast was amazing! 10/10

Received an upgrade on arrival. Excellent breakfast. Great view. Spotless Pool

Perhaps a better selection of TV channels.

Everything was superb! Great location and view. Short drive to all the points of interest. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and desert waiting in our room. Plenty on site parking. Great breakfast.

Good food and excellent coffee. Comfortable beds.

Sound proofing should be improved.

Friendly and helpful staff, very nice room, great breakfast, great view from the room, good for money

Need to drive to the city center

Easy to park a car, not so far away to city center (even by foot). Very good rooms

The room is well cleaned, Breakfast is excellent. Welcome wine is very kind.

Not possible to lock the room from inside, cleaning stuff entered in the room even "do not disturb" light was on. Manager tried to justify as "guest don't use the light correctly". Sound-proving room in description but it's quite a stretch, talking in room next door could be heard, plus there's a football field in front of the room.

Schönes, gut unterhaltenes Hotel mit aufmerksamen Personal.

Comfy, spacious room and pet friendly! Modern rooms with nice bathrooms with both a bath and shower. Friendly restaurant staff and good dinner food from the a la carte menu. Outside seating for breakfast with a nice enough view of the lakes and mountains.

The shower head was in need of a replacement. When we mentioned it to the reception they asked the cleaning staff to clean it. They attempted to but it still wasn't the best condition so we didn't use it. As a 5 star hotel these things should be dealt with and unfortunately we found the reaction to this quite dismissive from the front desk staff. Some of the rooms have a parking/road view which isn't made clear from the description at all. For a hotel called "The Lake Hotel" its a shame there is no direct access to the lakeside for a walk.

Two years after our first visit, we returned to the Lake Hotel. Clearly, our initial stay left us satisfied, and this time, we found everything even better. The rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped for comfort. The breakfast was significantly improved. The staff was very courteous. Overall, we give a thumbs up to Lake Hotel, and as frequent visitors to Ioannina, we will prefer it for our next stay.

Really nice rooms, the facilities were excellent and the breakfast very rich!

Perfect location, great views of the lake, very polite and helpful staff and dog friendly! Also great breakfast. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to explore the region!!

Unbequeme Kissen.

Best hotel the nice place and best breakfast hope visit again

Beautiful hotel. Exceptional breakfast.

It was a really clean and modern hotel, nicely furnished. Conveniently located.
