Hotel Cavour

Very nice hotel, in a great location, within walking distance to all main attractions in Milan

Nothing

Location, service and staff

good pozition, central

the room didn't look as in the pictures. Very disappointing, especially for the price paid. It doesn't reach a 4* hotel standards. Low value for the money

Great location with walking distance to the center.

Ubicación

Disponibilità personale.

Prezzo un po più alto del solito.

Locatia, confortul, restaurantul, personalul!

Location is very good And the room is good

Voy a repetir seguramente.

Love the location and access to both shopping and other districts of Milan

All good

Room cleanliness

Kettle PowerPoint broken

Aamiainen oli hyvää😊

It was very clean and ok location. Staff at the desk were very helpful and polite.

It was noisy.

Upgraded room very modern.

Breakfast

Nothing

The air conditioning unit was not functioning at the room , the furniture was very old model & the bathroom was very tight even the staff wasn’t friendly.

The personel taking good care of the guest at all times, from arrival to leaving the parking lot - is a priceless experience

One of (many) pillows we got was stuffed with feathers- not ideal for allergies (Not a big deal, rather heads-up for future guests)

Very good location

Comoda e pulita

La sicurezza nel quartiere

Rooms comfortable and clean. Good breakfast. Restaurant has the best spagetti carbarnara I have ever eaten. Tram stop around the corner.

Not much within easy walking distance, but tram close by makes it easy to get around. Gadgets in room not necessary, tv in shower room, coloured lighting system. A/C a little hard to regulate.

Nada. Todo perfecto

El hotel me gusta he estado varias veces.

I liked everything.

The rooms were a little small. There was a small amount of shampoo, body lotion, and a replacement tea

The location is perfect, the staff is nice, the facility is clean.

The equipment and the interior are quite old and outdated.

Nothing

Good comfortable bed , Nice decor, Good bathroom, Pretty much what you would expect

Fridge doesn't keep drinks cold and in that heat that was important, When selecting the waterfall setting in the shower the water ran out into bedroom, The bedside light was so strong you definitely wake your partner if turned on during the night, We asked for hot water at breakfast to make our tea but was never boiling just hot-ish.

Modern design, size of room and bathroom, wonderful breakfast

Perfect

Gyalogosan elérhető főbb látnivalók, a hotel jó elhelyezkedése. Jó reggeli.

Sajnos nagyon kevés parkolási lehetőség a hotel garázsában, de a közelben (kb. 3 perc gyalog) biztosítanak parkolási lehetőséget a hotel vendégei részére kedvezőbb áron, mint más parkolókban.

Location is great, also the stuff is very kind and good. Breakfast is very good, you can find almost everything. There is a limited car parking area which is very important for Milano.

Drinking bottle water is being put only for welcome day at room. It would be better if you put drinking water daily into room. nothing is more to complain.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent customer service. The hotel kindly allowed us to check in early at no extra charge. The air conditioning was a life saver in the Milan summer. Located close to public transport including Milan’s iconic antique yellow trams

The room was a little on the small side for 2 people

Great hotel in top location in Milan. We were there for a concert and spend 3 days in Cavour Hotel. Location was unbeatable. Just couple of minutes walks to all the nice shopping in Milan. The service from reception was great. Rooms were good size, water pressure great. Overall great stay for us. We will back again!

While the location was great, the room was very small and noisy. THe airconditioning was extremely loud as was the street noise. The room had received a makeover but still felt dated with damaged floors etc. The breakfast did not have a wide selection to chose from especially for kids and the staff did not speak english very well. The hotel lobby and the bar has probably not changed since the 50s

Location is good, quiet as not central. But close to metro and tram stops. Not far to walk to the main sights. Air con was very appreciated during hot summer.

The on site car park is small, so gets full quickly. Even though it says book beforehand, we were still directed to an external car park that is a walk away and very expensive.

The property was amazing and the premium room we booked is very modern and clean

The women the in reception was so rude to us when we checked out

Sehr sauber

Large room with walk in closet. Very good service. Good location for our purposes.

The location was great and the staff very helpful

Room service could have been better

Sim! Quarto espaçoso, bonito e staff muito gentil.

Staff interactions were polite and friendly and the location was good, breakfast adequate

Room size small. I also had a room with a sad view and equipment noise even with the window closed. Lights difficult to operate. Breakfast space small and crowded. Expected more for the price

L'emplacement

I wanted to write this review because I was genuinely shocked when I arrived and saw the room. It looked completely different from the pictures online, and I honestly did not recognize it. It appears that part of the hotel is currently being upgraded, because some floors, doors, and rooms look completely different from the section where we stayed. Room ⭐⭐⭐ Our room was very spacious and had a comfortable layout, but unfortunately it was quite old and tired-looking. The carpet was outdated, and the overall appearance was much different from what was shown in the photos. While we had a large double room and the space was definitely a positive, it did not match the images that influenced our decision to book. If you are choosing this hotel mainly because of the room size and location, I would recommend checking with the hotel beforehand to confirm whether you will be staying in one of the updated rooms. Common Areas & Breakfast Area ⭐⭐⭐ The common areas and breakfast area also appear to need an update. The hotel has a great location and potential, but these areas currently feel dated. Parking The hotel has limited garage parking spaces. If you are arriving by car, I recommend calling them in the morning to inquire about availability. They will do their best to save a spot, but it is not guaranteed due to the limited number of spaces. Final Thoughts The location is excellent, and the room size is a definite advantage. However, the condition of the older rooms was disappointing compared with the expectations created by the online photos. I would recommend confirming the room category and whether it is in the renovated section before booking, as the experience may vary significantly depending on where you are placed.

Good location, away from the more heavy tourist-traffic areas; easy walk to several neighborhoods that were priority for me (eg, La Scala, Brera); small but adequate room; view of compressors on the roof; AC was less than cool in the extreme heat conditions; welcoming drink in the bar - bartender very helpful and friendly; very nice breakfast buffet with table service; mostly helpful front desk staff, though one seemed very annoyed by my questions even though I tried my best with beginner's Italian but I won't let one person influence overall satisfaction with front desk services; delicious meal and sweet staff in the attached restaurant. Not historic, a more contemporary building with basic accommodations.

Beautiful classic hotel with big, spacious rooms. Nice and welcoming staff. Super central position, close to the Via delle Spiga and Via Montenapoleone, 10 minute walk to the Duomo.

It was all very nice.
