That, I was able to make my way around to the room easily. The stay was comfortable and clean. Really enjoyed finding a accommodation so quickly in such a short time.

Couldn't find the remote to the tv and door was abit hard to open & had troubles trying to get in after later hours. But managed to get in at the end.

The room was quite dusty, ended up taking allergy medication. My whole family was sneezing. Only one person was able to shower in the evening because hot water finished. We stayed 2 nights and we didn’t have hot water in the evenings. The bed coverlets seemed dirty. We paid $310 for 2 nights. Was not worth it. Did not enjoy our stay ☹️

The staff at Furlong Motel Meghana is so professional and very supportive inspite of our delayed check-in. Meghana was so good at hospitality and good asset to your Accomodation firm. There was ample space for parking at the back door of the property which was exceptional that made the check out so comfortable.

Would have liked to know in advance that reception was in the garage shop. I arrived in the rainy dark. Motel neon sign partly broken.

The shower pressure was great and bathroom was very modern. The location was not too far from the town centre if driving. Extra pillows were provided upon request.

There was a used soap bar on top of the body wash dispenser inside the shower; no hand soap in the dispenser in the bathroom; there was only two bath towels despite booking for three people; the kitchenette had incomplete cutlery and crockery for three people; the queen bed was hard, springy and uncomfortable. There was only one thin pillow provided per person for each bed, no duvets on the beds, the coverletts needed a good wash. Outside lights poured into the room from both ends at night making it hard to sleep - there was no way to turn them off. The bedroom curtain (one) was too short to fully black out the light. The front door area outside needed a good sweep as there was lots of debris and electrical wires/screws on the ground. The reception was hard to find at night - located inside a store out front.

The microwave was dirty with mold in it. Had to kick the bottom of the door to open it and shut it also mold on outside of the outside door.

Nothing. It was appalling. And we didn't stay.. We were told that our money would be refunded.

Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful overall. The heating worked. The room was lovely and clean.

No hot water - we only found this out when we rang to tell them we would be arriving later than expected. The tv had limited channels and didn't always work properly. The mini-bar freezer did not keep ice cream frozen. Only one small bin - would have appreciated one in the bathroom too.

Not good don’t think it should be taking bookings no Hot water and has a Gas problem and other Reps like me said it’s been like that for months!!

The shower had no hot water which they didn't say until I had paid.so I took a early check in and was told I was being charged when I got the key.i told the guy there's no hot water.later they said I was being reimbursed a conformation refund would of been good or the room should of been cheaper.comunication wasn't the greatest could only email instead of ringing me about the hot water payment had already been confirmed. I had visitors from Auckland that came through is why.

No breakfasts (or food options) were proffered. Location was reasonable.

There was no hot water available, and subsequent to departing I checked with the Furlong as to if it had been fixed as UI was considering them as a possible site given accommodation is difficult to obtain at times in Hawera. Their feedback was the issues had NOT been resolved and they were unlikely to be resolved in the immediate future. I therefore discounted the Furlong as an option as my next stay is for > 12 weeks!

We had no hot water but the owner alerted us to this, it was a gas main problem, and gave a $20 discount. I couldn’t connect to the wifi.

The room was clean and had all the basic necessities which is worth noting

It was very basic, and my biggest concern was the poor security e.g. the fact that the rooms only had a push lock door which can easily be unlocked without much skill. This made me feel unsafe at night as a solo traveller. I would expect more security and it would not be much work to add new locks. It was also incredibly overpriced for what you got. I wouldn’t have minded the room if I had paid $100 for it, but for around $170 per night I would have expected a lot more.

It smelt clean.

There was no hot water the whole time we were there and we were told we would get a partial refund which never happened. The windows were so filthy dirty that someone had drawn an unhappy face in them. The bleach smell didn't disappear and we all had headaches by the time we awoke the next morning.

There was a gas leak and the staff didn’t do anything about it for a couple days, the room smelt of gas and bleach

The shower is not only spacious but the water pressure was amazing. The room smelt so clean and I have stayed in many motels. This motel felt warm and the kitchenette had all I need. I actually can say this motel is one of the best I’ve stayed in for the price payed. I recommend the Furlong and will stay again in the future.

Although the room smelt clean the fridge had food scraps remaining , shower was clean but I could see build up along the crevice floor. Pillows were flat and the bed was hard. But all that aside still better than any other place I have stayed.

This motel is in a good location if you are heading further north. But still close enough to the town centre. It has many on site facilities which is especially good for truckies as well as plenty of parking.

Great place to stay. Awesome staff. They even put the heat pump on so it was warm when I got there. Lovely bathroom. The shower was really good. I would recommend this motel to others.

We did not have any breakfast there. The location was great. Allowed us to continue with our travels with very little disruption to our journey.

I was very impressed with everything. My one little concern was that there was no ledge inside the shower. No where to put you soap or shampoo inside the shower. Everything had to go on the floor. This I did not like.

Expected better not enough towels, pillows, cups for the amount of people who stayed the night. Cheap & yuk
