Friendly staff! Large spacious rooms.

Location was great short drive/walk to town. Cleaner and guy at office was lovely.

The bed was on wheels and if you lent up against the bed head to sit up, the bed would slip away from the wall. There was no forks in the room. You had to have the heater on all night because it was cold but great that a heater was available in the room. Room was not sound proof. We could hear the bass from music in the room on one side and someone snoring and talking on their cell phone past midnight.

No pillowcases, no milk for coffee, kitchen light flickering badly (could not use kitchen to make coffee after dark), menus in the compendium were up to 7 years old (eg takeaway had a pack at $10 that is now $21 and the shop owner advised they haven’t had the lower price in at least 7 years)

The room and complex is very tired, not very clean, the toilet had a broken button to flush, the vanity unit was all stained , the fridge needs to be replaced as it sounded like it was about to explode through the night several times..would never stay again

It was tidy and Clean and Staff friendly.

The Certain didn’t close properly so I used a safety pin to keep together and no stand for my bag to sit on so used the little chair. A little noisy someone had TV going all night.

Nothing l never stayed with you and my money has been taken out of my account when l counselled within an hour realising you where in New Zealand not Australia (NOT HAPPY AND WAITING ON REFUND)

The bathroom area. Shower water over flowed onto floor which could have caused an accident 🤔 by slipping and a fall getting out of the shower. Perhaps a rubber stopper attached to the glass door.The water over flow from the shower saturated the bath mat and extra towel we used to dry the floor. Also alot of ants. Only concerned for other guests . Overall it was good, but not great, just two issues to be highlighted for safety and health standards.

The apartment was much larger than expected and having a full kitchen with everything in it was fab.

Part of the reason we picked this venue was due to the statement of having a spa. The boys went for a look around to find it when we arrived and it was drained. Info pack in room states it can only be used between 9 & 3pm and no staff were around. If it's drained I'd say it hasn't been used in awhile.

The space of the apartment was great, the kitchen equipment and utensils was on point. Beds could be bigger but they were ok. Bathroom space was awesome.

The room needed airing out as soon as we walked in. Dust everywhere, could tell the room hadn't been open in awhile. Gave it a wipe down ourselves as my child has allergies. The sofa bed seriously needs replacing, especially for a potential bed for guests.

Great shower pressure. Laundry was free.

Hated having to do dishes everyday in the little bathroom sink. They didn't change towels everyday. Beds were uncomfortable and hard. Road noise was terrible and unfortunately they were doing roadworks most nights until 2am. Not the owners fault I know. Cleaners didn't do a great job at all. Definitely won't be going back. They are in the process of updating the rooms but they are still very small. We had studio unit not sure what bigger units are like.

Close to Sports stadium

The rooms are clean and comfortable, genuinely feeling like a home away from home. The owner's hospitality truly shines, making them a pleasure to chat with and incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend.

This is the third time we have stayed here this year but this time we stayed for 4 nights. Room was comfortable for what we needed. Fresh towels each day. Kitchen well equipped. Love the shower. Comfortable considering we had 2 days of rain and one person was stuck in bed, ill. Good location and quiet.

The only real let down was the wifi connection which we understand was because of a storm the week before which meant a tower was out so motel not at fault but when you have 2 teens and a toddler all demanding internet it was really disappointing. Especially as we were cooped up in a small space for 5 people with 2 days of rain. It did seem to come right our last night. Other than that everything else was satisfactory.

This was a disgusting experience. We expected our staff members to be there at 4pm, however they were delayed till 8pm as there was road closures and roadworks on the way. When they arrived at the motel, it was closed. The instructions stated to call a cellphone number which we did multiple times to no avail. In the end we had to book them at another motel as we could not gain access, as no details were left. I called the next day to organise a refund and was met with aggression from Christine, the owner of the motel who stated she had called and left a message with our staff members. I let her know that they did not receive the message, and this may have been because they were travelling through hills. She let me know she had left to visit her husband in hospital, which we were empathetic about, but she still had not left details at the motel as per the procedures they showed, and her phone was off, meaning we had to pay for alternative accommodation, after we had already paid through Bookings.com. The final straw was when trying to access the authority for a refund from her, she told us to F**k Off and go through to Booking.com to try to get a refund and hung up on us. Highly disgusting and unprofessional behaviour. We understand that she had a stressful situation, all we asked for is the refund of our payment, as they did not provide the service paid for.

Friendly owner who was very responsive to any requests. Unit very clean and gas hot water was plentiful.

I could hear rats running through the ceiling. I had stored lots of food in the fridge as I was getting up early and heading out to site, but when I woke up in the morning it was frozen. The knob for adjusting this on the fridge was broken and so I was unable to store anything in the fridge. I tried to go to reception to tell them this on my way out on Thursday (~9am) but the reception was locked and no one was at the desk. The shower also leaks all over the floor every time it is used.

Fridge a paired to be warm on arrival checked to may sure it was on then checked to see if it was turned up but the knob was gone so couldn’t adjust. Shower leaked all over the floor. Bin in kitchen was broken. Lamp in bedroom didn’t work.

The unit was excellent and very central and had a double bed in a separate bedroom with a single bed in the main room, which suited us fine.

Paid for a room with a minibar and there was no mini bar

The room was comfortable and I appreciated having a unit right at the back of the motel, as it eliminated road noise. The lady running the motel was friendly and professional, which enhanced my stay.

Loved the shower pressure. Lots of bed space for two teens and a toddler. Perfect for an overnight stay. Very quiet.

Bathroom was tight but clean, small hole in the back of the bedroom door but room was nice and tidy. Playground was old, falling apart not kid friendly.

Comfortable and good location

The place was pretty good, nice and quiet. Made a reservation at night and got late when i arrive there. But the person was there waiting for us. The rooms were pretty cozy as well.

We originally did our booking online and later got a lovely call from the owner saying she moved me and my family into the house as she felt we would be more comfortable with the room provided in the house. The house was very spacious and the rooms/living room/dining/kitchen were all big enough for my family to move around as freely as we pleased. The house was very family friendly which made our stayed even more lovely.

Everything was exceptional!!

This motel was a great little find. We were travelling with our dog and they were so welcoming and accommodating. It's not easy to find accommodation when travelling with your pet. We were so glad we'd booked the one bedroom as there was more than enough room for two adults and a medium sized dog. The room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were provided. The shower was fabulous, great water pressure and there was heat straight away. I'd recommend The Mount View Motel whether you're travelling with a pet or just getting away by yourselves.

Great location and very affordable for a large group, had everything you needed. We were the only family there, the trampoline and swings was a hit for the children while we were busy setting up the rooms and also cooking our breakfast the next morning

We just want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your motel. Everything room was spick and span. Beds vey comfortable, excellent shower pressure Such a quiet location, and no traffic noise. This motel is up there with the best and would 100% recommend this motel to any one. High recommend mount view motel. They were so accommodating. Due to our living situation we stayed here for three months. They made us feel so welcome and we even got to bring our cat. The room was clean, tidy and the bed was comfortable. We had all the facilities we needed including a big living space as well as the kitchen and laundry. This place was able to become our home for that time.

The location and the owner was lovely very deserving f a break it seems

We had no hot water the last night so couldn’t shower. We had to leave early in the am so I didn’t want to ring the owner.

Curtains didn't meet....privacy issue..curtain rail falling down ....fridge sitting on the carpet making it hard to open and was very noisy...shower height could be put on sliding rail for shorter people.....parking not marked and other users parked in front of our unit ...next time I fuelled up I found my fuel cap had been tampered with...

asked for a one bedroom and got a studio , no where to do dishes only 1 cup and 1 mug no hot water for shower on sunday morning

There was a little park for the children to play at, easy to drive in and out, rooms were very spacious and owner was amazing and welcoming.

The main staff member we dealt with was rude, abrupt and had 0 customer service skills. I've already told so many people how rude this lady was as I was actual taken back by her demeanor.

Our overall stay was very pleasant with our pet and accommodation was clean, tidy and comfortable. There was good communication and they were just a pleasure to deal with.
