Prime Hotel Beijing Wangfujing

We were disappointed with the level of service at the front desk. When we checked in during the afternoon, the process was unnecessarily slow and took considerably longer than expected. The check-out process was also quite inefficient. Despite our car having been waiting outside for some time, we were kept waiting while we waited for the authorisation to release our deposit. In addition, the soundproofing in the room was inadequate, and noise from outside could be heard clearly.

The room was nice, we had a high floor so the view , in the distance, was also nice. The good breakfast was a big plus for my wife. Staff also nice, with the problem of almost nobody speaking english but this is the problem in whole China.

The air on the floors hallways was very sticky and damp. Also l, completely un understandable the air in the gallery at the entrance was irespirabile!!!

The design of the room is really elegant, we just found a little strange that you cannot completely close a door and separate the shower/bath tub from the bedroom. (There was a sliding door, so either you close the shower or you close the bathtub, but either way you can still be seen from outside.) We're also still waiting for the deposit to be given back after one week, but we trust the hotel.

L'emplacement est top et l'offre de restauration est bien (2 restaurants). Le restaurant thaïlandais propose un repas bon et son personnel est très sympatique, intentionné et agréable.

Pour un hotel qui se revendique avoir plusieurs étoiles, le service n'était pas au rendez-vous : personne pour vous porter vos bagages quand vous arrivez devant l'hôtel, lit supplémentaire pour enfant comparable à un lit d'appoint pour un camping plutôt que pour un hôtel comme celui-ci (le lit était aussi dur que le sol), impossibilité de s'isoler dans la salle de bain (deux ouvertures énormes mais une seule porte coulissante pour cacher). Le restaurant chinois de l'hôtel présente un service décevant pour le prix : personnel qui se moquent de vous, personnel qui se permet de faire des commentaires sur votre commandes sous-entendant que vous mangez beaucoup ou que vous ne savez pas choisir correctement vos plats (et tant d'autres choses trop longues pour ici concernant l'attitude ou la qualité du service).

Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer gebucht mit einem Einzelbett und Doppelbett. Das Einzelbett war hart wie ein Brett, selbst als wir mehrere Decken und die im Raum zur Verfügung gestellte Yogamatte drauf taten, konnte unser 9-jährige Sohn (der gerne auch auf Decken im Zelt schläft) nicht drauf schlafen.

I felt that I was treated differently because I hold a mainland Chinese passport. Tea was given to people with Hong Kong passports and to my colleague, who holds a British passport, but I did not receive the same treatment. This gave me the impression that I was being treated differently based on my nationality.

It was clean, comfortable bed and a great location for tourism. I had western food room service and it was great.

I was there for less than 24hrs (arrived 10pm and left 6am the next day) so I don’t have a lot to say! I would just say that the customer service is not 5star for western expectations. It is a large hotel and does not feel like a warm welcome ect.

El hotel es precioso, todo está muy cuidado y limpio. Todo el personal del hotel es muy atento y amable. El desayuno buffet es una maravilla, comida recién hecha y muy variada. La ubicación perfecta, cerca de los puntos de interes y de la calle comercial. A escasos 50 metros está el metro. Hotel para repetir.

The room is clean and spacious. The location is great too! It is very short distance to underground train station and walking distance to Wangfujing.

It was great he front desk could speak English but could be more patient and cheerful. The bath tub in the room was not really useful.

Amazing place,

The staff assume you have plenty of money to pay for over priced tour, taxis instead of public transport and room service instead of food delivery apps. I asked for help with all of the above and they were not able to help me. We stayed at this hotel as a treat, and also even if I do have money to pay for more convenience I should have a choice of how my money is spent.

Friendly staff that made sure we could have an early checkin. Room was spacious and add all the things we needed. Very central with quick access to metro.

Our window had view to the back to what seemed to be a small landfill. It didn’t have any impact on our stay but having a good view is always better than looking at trash.

Sehr komfortabel, ruhig. Wichtig in den Sommermonaten: Pool zum Abkühlen. Sehr zentrale Lage, an der Wangfujing Street. Verbotene Stadt war zu Fuß zu erreichen, Hutongs und Tempel wenige Minuten mit Didi erreichbar. Zimmer sehr sauber, freundliches Personal.

Wir hatten keine Beanstandungen. Der hohe Preis ist angemessen.

Very comfortable room. Great central location. The breakfast was extensive and the staff very helpful. The AC was not working in our initial room; they changed our room right away and offered us a tea sampling gift to apologize. We enjoyed the pool after a long day at the Forbidden City.

I feel that the bathtub is awkwardly placed

The hotel is located close to the Art Museum. The subway station is in 2 min and Wanfujing street with shopping/ dining options in 10-15 min walking distance. I have walked to the National Museum on Tiananmen square and it took around 40 min (anyway the closest drop off point of taxi will be 10 min away from the square). The reception: some of them speak English, some still use translation apps. I have changed my flights and arrived around 07.00am and asked for the room. According to reception only available room was a suit and since I am booking it at morning they proposed checkout time at 04.00 pm, but then they called me back at noon and asked to checkout at 02.00pm. They gave me upgrade (as understood it was an excuse for changed checkout time): the room with queen bad on 11th floor. I liked the way how was added chinese traditional furnitures, books, paintings in the room design. The bad, towels, rob, sleepers, hangers were good quality. The yoga mat is additional bonus with 15 min free online yoga class in TV. You can adjust the room temperature easily. And really liked the floor with the carpet around the bed only. Sometimes I've heard my neighbors but it didn't bother me. My guide helped to buy local esim with 10gb Internet - so haven't used hotel wifi.

There are also some disadvantages for me to have a bathtub in open space, especially a one can see it from the door. Anyway, I don't use bathtubs in the hotel so it was OK for me. It would be good to have more variety of food options for international quests. I went for dinner to Chinese restaurant on second floor. There are maybe 10-12 tables in open space and vip room. That day vip room was occupied and seems ppl there had good time, we have heard and seen them when they go it for smoking or WC. The food was OK for me. That was my first trip to China and don't know well their custom but I was quite surprised to see a bussing cart in the dining part of the restaurant. I felt like I am sitting in the kitchen.

Location is within walking distance to Wangfujing shopping streets, Tian An Men and the Forbidden City. Spacious comfortable room with separate shower and toilet room.

Design flaw in the shower area with exposed bathtub. Housekeeping lady helped to cover up with a white sheet for privacy. Hotel should do something to rectify this flaw. Light is slightly dim in the room.

Staff spoke English and were very helpful! They helped to track our lost baggage - even called the airline for us. The hotel is very nice and clean and the room was spacious. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options to choose from. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes walk away from the Wangfujing shopping area and famous Beijing duck restaurants. The East Gate of the Forbidden City is 25 mins walk away. I would choose to stay here again.

Die Lage und das Zimmer waren toll. Es war alles extrem sauber und das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend.

Das Personal an der Rezeption kann sehr schlecht englisch. Das war jedoch nicht so schlimm, da man mit einer Übersetzter-App sich gut verständigen kann. Wir hatten an unserem Abreisetag um 06.20 Uhr ausgecheckt und verpassten wegen 10 Minuten das Frühstück für welches wir bezahlt hatten. Wir fragten einzig nach einem Coffee-to-go. Denn das Buffet war schon fast bereit. Sie lehnten unsere Anfrage einfach ab und wiesen uns auf die Öffnungszeiten hin. Das finde ich total daneben - wegen wenigen Minuten!! Die Kaffeemaschine hätte trotzdem bedient werden können oder sogar eine to-go-Box mit Essen. Auch bei einer anderen Anfrage ein paar Tage zuvor wegem einem Check-in Problem haben sie uns einfach abgewiesen. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist keine Hilfe.

Hôtel très bien localisé au centre de Pékin à proximité des sites à visiter, avec une station de métro en face de l'hôtel permettant de se déplacer très facilement. L'hôtel est calme et offre de belles prestations. Très bon petit déjeuner inclus.

Die Lage war echt perfekt, U-Bahn war gleich daneben und eine tolle Shoppingstraße war auch gleich in der Nähe, wie die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Austattung des Hotels war super.

- The room was large and very beautiful - The staff in the lobby were helpful, especially for booking taxis or transport - The hotel breakfast was nice, though overpriced - The AC worked well - The shower and bath were really nice

- The service left a lot to be desired. The hotel is 5 star, so I would hold it to that standard. When we arrived no one collected our bags or offered to help us. - During our stay water, coffee and other consumables that were free (most in your room are not free) would not be restocked, we had to ask for this to be restocked which felt more like a cash grab for a hotel that is already very expensive - Speaking on price, this hotel is very expensive for basic things. A coffee in the lobby will run you 97RMB (around $20aud). There are service charges that get added to things such as coffee in the lobby, yet there is very little service. It took me a long time to order and be allowed to sit, because the attendant was busy and not paying attention. - The hotel breakfast is large with good options, but very expensive and has no service. Everything is self serve (including coffees), but even at the egg station trying to get an omelette, the staff were busy talking amongst themselves. I waited at the spot it said to wait for a few minutes but no one came to help, so I just didn’t get an omelette. It’s fine for less expensive hotel, but you should pay for what you get. The hotel breakfast is around 190rmb, egg chefs should at least take orders. - we required to have some washing done while we stayed here, which was incredibly expensive. Unfortunately there is no option to do it yourself or take it somewhere else. We then had issues getting our clothes back because the hotel wanted us to pay for it first before returning the clothes, though we had asked for it to be charged to our room. They wanted us to come downstairs to then collect our clothes and pay at the counter. This would be fine for a cheap hotel, but not for such an expensive one. - the location is good for public transport, but what is left out of the photos is that there is a large open air dump directly next to the hotel. From your room you can watch the workers collecting rubbish and processing it.

My stay at the Empark Prime Hotel in Beijing was truly exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, elegant, and very well maintained, but what made the experience unforgettable was the level of hospitality. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and took care of everything immediately. We were kindly upgraded to a better room, and honestly, it was the best room I have ever stayed in in my life. A very special thank you goes to Hank, the concierge, who made this trip incredibly memorable. Weeks before our arrival, he reached out to help plan our stay and assisted with bookings and arrangements on our behalf. Throughout the entire visit, he checked in on us daily and made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. While not all staff members spoke strong English, having Hank there made everything seamless and comfortable. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail are the main reason I would happily return to this hotel again. I truly cannot thank him enough for making our stay so special.
