Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und groß, allerdings weist die Einrichtung bereits leicht Gebrauchsspuren auf. Die englischen Sprachfähigkeiten der Mitarbeiter sind ausbaufähig.

Les personnes qui travaillent à la réception sont très froid, et les prix que je réserve sur booking n’est pas la même que je paye à la réception, il y a 1000 Yan de différence, il m’a demandé de payer 6200 à la place de 5200 Yan le prix que je réserve sur booking , tax et frais compris! Je ne sais pas pourquoi!

The hotel has an exceptional team, a quality I value. Yina, the concierge, is truly out of this world. What a legendary concierge! After many years of travelling and staying at hotels around the world, she is by far the best concierge. Her professionalism is exceptional, while at the same time she makes you feel safe, genuinely cared for and completely looked after. You simply enjoy activities that she tailor-made to your preferences, with everything already arranged, booked and reserved within minutes. Zoey was equally exceptional at check-in—professional, warm and welcoming, making the entire process quick, smooth and effortless.

The pool is good in size but had a very strong chlorine smell—I found it uncomfortably strong. Unfortunately, the chlorine smell also reaches the gym, which is irritating when you are trying to exercise and need fresh air.

موقع الفندق مناسب جدا وقريب من اهم المواقع السياحية، بالقرب منه مطعم حلال كان الاكل فيه لذيذ، كذلك محل مخبوزات لذيذ جدا، بالاضافة الى الاستقبال كانوا متعاونيين جدا طلبوا مني تأمين ورفضت دفعه لاني احتاج المبلغ، وتم إلغاء الطلب، خدمة تنظيف الغرفة ممتازه وكل يوم يتم توفير المستلزمات المطلوبة. خصوصا الماء يتم توفيره بكميات كافية، خدمات موظفي الكونسيرج رائعه ومتعاونون جدا. نصيحتي لكم قبل الخروج لأي موقع سياحي تأكدوا انه مفتوح ويستقبل زوار و الكونسيرج ح يساعدوكم.

The Regent Hotel Beijing is centrally located and the staff is the BEST. We are frequent customers of the Lobby Butterfly Brunch and I think it’s about time I share the good news. This brunch is one of the best values you will find in Beijing. Not just for the free flow sparkling wine or champagne ( depending on which option you choose), but for the quality and selection of the food that is offered. As soon as you sit, your experience begins with an Aperol Sprtiz, choice of sparkling or still water and your speaking wine / champagne. These are refilled as soon as your half empty glass hits the table ! Start with a basket of French pastries and bread and follow that with your four courses- if you make it to the end ( you can take your main course home with you for dinner!) The dessert trolley is always filled with a great selection of gateaux , macarons and fresh fruit. The restaurant managers are always very present on the floor and ensure that everything is well delivered, but their jobs are very easy as Fred and his colleagues are happy to serve and delight. Entertainment is provided by a talented pianist who performs a wonderful repertoire.

Located on a nice quiet street but very near Wangfujing, the rooms were spacious enough and the staff were very welcoming and helpful which was very appreciated by my son and I . I didn’t get the name of the older gentleman who is part of the concierge team but he was always ready to help and answer my questions and also many thanks to Yedda for her hospitality and making the effort to check back on us .

I have arrived today and at the moment the atmosphere, location room and general experience is really good. I'd like to make special remark overs Helen Sun in front desk. She has really kind and supporting us since the moment we arrive the hotel, making our arrival and experience in Regent and Beijing much more confortable.

We stayed three nights in this first class hotel. It was a great experience, made more exciting by the presence of a large Spanish delegation accompanying the PM of Spain. Everything was as expected in a IHG hotel - great service (thanks particularly to Fred Xiou in the Lobby Lounge - he was a fantastic ambassador for Beijing in general and the Regent in particular - friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and extremely helpful - thanks Fred! We ate at Moltons which was excellent (large portions!) The hotel is very well located for the attractions in Beijing and convenient for a drive to the Great Wall (and it is a GREAT wall!). We hope to visit Beijing again soon.

We’ve been to the brunch a number of times over the last year and it is consistently good. The food is always the highest standard, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure we have a great time. Fred in particular is very accommodating to ensuring our experience is always fun. Always a big thanks to the whole team. Best brunch in Beijing!

A lovely hotel in a good location. Great swimming pool and lovely staff. At reception Michael was charming and helpful and we loved meeting Fred, the bar manager who made us very welcome. Breakfast was a real treat and the chef put together really tasty noodle dishes for us. The rooms were well equipped and very comfortable.

Superb location, amazing room with spectacular views over The Forbidden City. Walking distance to Wangfujing. The absolute highlight of The Regent is Yina who is the Senior Conceirge. She went well above and beyond expectations, was always there, whether it was 7am or 11pm, The Conceirge team is propped up by her level of professionalism, her genuine care and commitment to ensuring guests receive local top tips, reservations & guidance She also had a wicked sense of homour which meant we often were laughing out loud at the desk as she helped us. She used her initiative when a delivery was expected and I was blown away by a simple gesture that was so thoughtful and ensured my treasures survived the 24hr journey home safe and sound. Thank you Yina, you made our stay at The Regent and Beijing memorable and we hope to see you again!

Club lounge - would have been great to be able to have some light sandwiches/meal items available at lunch time instead of just non alcoholic drinks.

Breakfast and service were excellent. We especially appreciated Maria, who was very helpful and made a real difference during our stay. We also really liked the bathroom area—the bath itself was very spacious, especially for my height (180 cm).

The room experience was disappointing. The photos shown on the Booking website did not match the actual room we received, and the overall room condition clearly needs renovation. Even after we were moved to another room, it still didn’t reflect the images.

Amazing stay . A special shout out to chef james super friendly and incredibly fast . He made sure we got our selicious meals without any wait and always with a warm smile. Truly a star.

Fantastic location: good location, clean and quiet room. Service was over the top. The concierge in training from Italy made our stay that much better by recommending restaurants and walking us to the neighboring hotel to heat over leftovers and do our laundry. We also did scrubs and facials at the spa that were well worth the price compared to US. Shout out to Benny at Mortan’s!

I stayed for 5 nights as part of a work visit. The Regent is located not far from the historic centre. It’s often used for visiting dignitaries and adds an extra layer of security. The rooms were very well appointed with bathrobes, comfy slippers, room safe, coffee machine, and plenty of water. The bathroom includes a free standing tub. Housekeeping were generous with water too. Breakfast was extensive and soy bean cappuccinos are also available. For Oat milk lattes there is a Starbucks behind the hotel. The difference with this hotel is the exceptional service. The concierges Yina Wang and Eric were extraordinary, helping to navigate purchases amid language issues, nothing was too much trouble. Zoey at the front desk was also incredibly helpful.

Absolutely great stay for 4 nights in Beijing. Hotel staff were very courteous. Our room was large and comfortable. The bathroom is huge! We upgraded to the Regent Club, worth the money. Stayed for four nights a 2 rooms with family for wife’s birthday. One of the rooms smells from smoking so I got quite upset (obviously considering it’s a high end 5 star hotel). I have to say this is when true 5 star hotels show their colour. I got a new room in five minutes, free upgrade (without even asking and not even wanting to 😂). The folks in the reception acted with No questions asked just immediately responding. Class! Secondly when we left we got a nice thank you and apologise from one of the managers Ms Elena. Secondly the front staff at the concierge. Great service, great folks. So friendly and helped with all the challenges that comes with language, maps, tech in China! Arranged smooth-less reservations for restaurants, tickets and most importantly ordered things for me for my wife’s birthday while out sightseeing! Excellent

Excellent on every aspect. They do have a Royal visitor so security was tighter than normal. But all in all it was a fabulous stay. Great staff and especially Alison on the bar !

The only thing I am not satisfied with is that the restaurant in the hotel does not have English-speaking staff, it is difficult to order.

Chose this hotel for the second part of our stay in Beijing. Unbeknown to us at time of booking, there was a prominent European PM staying at the hotel during our stay. However, apart from heightened security measures, it didn't really have much impact on our stay, despite the staff being extra busy it seemed. We had access to Club lounge with our room, and I can certainly recommend booking this type of room. We were there for a special occasion which I'd told the hotel beforehand, and they really did go above and beyond to help us celebrate. We had the Golden Horse Afternoon Tea in the Lobby Lounge, and this was all delicious. We were well looked after by Fred, also Alison who'd I'd been in contact with via email prior to arriving at the Regent. We chose to have our breakfasts at the Club Lounge, also spent a happy hour or two there also! Again we were very well looked after by all the wonderful staff. I only wish I could remember all of your names! The only one point I would wish to make that compared to restaurants/eateries here in the UK, we weren't asked whether we had any food allergies. One in our party has a nut allergy, and we noticed that nuts were included on a cheese platter in the Club Lounge. We did make a point of drawing this to the attention of one of the staff members there, so think it's a point worth mentioning, as having an allergy could be life threatening for some people. But this doesn't take away from anything we experienced at the Regent, and I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The location and the property itself were quite nice. The staff is also very hardworking and going out of their way to please the guests. When we were waiting for our taxis in the lobby, bellboy brought us bottles of water free of charge, which wasn’t an expensive but a very well thought out gesture.

Our experience was that rooms were quite dated. Bigger issues were the following: 1. Room cleaning could be much better. We are not too picky, but finding so much dust behind a nightstand (just one example)is a good indicator that deep cleaning hasn’t been done in a while. 2. AC control- we tried many methods but no success- it was too hot in the room and we had no way of regulating the temperature, staff wasn’t helpful in this matter at all.

Helpful and very attentive staff. Location was ideal with subway and Forbidden City withinin walking distance. Room was very spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Plenty of variety for breakfast and buffet or a la carte style.

Wifi was a bit patchy in the rooms and better in downstairs lobby.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful, well appointed and exceptionally serviced hotel. We were welcomed the moment we walked in and were accommodated early as we had an early morning arrival. We stayed in a suite, which was beautifully appointed and well looked after by housekeeping. We also had the pleasure of having club access on level 17 and highly recommend it for young fussy eaters. Breakfast both in the club and on level 2 in the main restaurant buffet. The pool and gym facilities are excellent for a hotel with a weights room, cardio room and 25m indoor heated pool. What a delight! Amazing location, with use of the subway and close proximity to Wangfujing St and the Forbidden City. However the best part of the stay was the staff. Special mention to the best concierge Y, and front reception staff Yedda and Frank. What a team and they make you feel like family and royalty. Will definitely be coming back to stay here!

The hotel is in a perfect location, top floors have a great view. What made our stay excellent was the first contact with the hotel manager Mrs Elena that has sorted out small issues at check in . But what made the experience memorable has been the concierge assistance made by Mrs Hina and her team. We got perfect information to organize all our excursions . Hina exceeded our expectation

This hotel was amazing! The rooms were beautiful, spacious and well-appointed. The staff were so helpful and met our every need. The breakfast buffet was incredible! The noodle chef helped me figure out how to fix my bowl and all of the staff were working like crazy! Loved the location - so easy to walk around to restaurants and shopping. We even walked to Ben Hai park - beautiful!

Good service overall. Excellent location for travelling around the City. Enjoyed the variety of selection for semi buffet style breakfast on the 17th Floor as much as the open view of the City. Would be helpful if a note of the opening hours of the 17th floor and when food is served in the room. Spacious and well equipped gym room for decent work out. Very satisfied for the stay.

Hotel is located centrally and just a few minutes walk from the subway train station (Line 6) and within reach to the cultural sights. Booked a junior suite for 3 nights and room was nice and comfortable. I had access to the club lounge and it provided a nice view of Beijing in particular during sunset. The club lounge cocktail provided from 6pm to 8pm consisted of hot food, in particular local fare, which is excellent quality, coupled with drinks. Breakfast selection at the restaurant was not too bad. However, experience of the stay was dampened by multiple incidents that happened throughout the stay which totally spoilt my mood. Firstly, during check-in, I told the check-in staff to charge the full accommodation stay to my credit card, only to be told that it is a prepaid rate and they had already charged to my card. I had asked her to confirm as I am sure I have booked a flexible cancellation rate via IHG website, and hence the amount should not have been charged as yet. Check-in staff was very definitive and hence, only a 3000CNY card guarantee amount was taken in the event that there are additional room charges. Secondly, I was only informed on the day before check-in that there will be an important guest staying at the hotel which will result in security checks. So regardless, as it has past the cancellation period, I would have to stick to the room reservation. On the day of the stay, as I was heading down from the room to the ground floor, I was rudely told by the security personnel that I had to stay away from the main hall as the VIPs are returning to hotel. I had no idea where to position myself as each time I moved to somewhere, I was told that I should not be here. Eventually when this is over, I had to ask the staff if it is okay for me to leave the hotel as the staff assumed that we will know. I booked a ride and waited at the hotel front lobby. Eventually I realized that the car was waiting outside the hotel as the entrance to the hotel was totally sealed off! I had similar stay in another intercontinental hotel in Beijing where there was a VIP staying and guests were not so inconvenienced. I wrote an email to the Guest Relations and they apologised for the inconvenience and that they will send a bottle of champagne to my room which I did not see it in the room. The duty manager contacted me via email and asked if I am still staying in the hotel room as he does not notice large luggage in the room. I replied via email that since I have already booked the room for 3night stay, to keep the room till my checkout date. When I returned to the hotel on the 3rd night, both room cards did not work. The house-keeping staff who were doing their rounds told me that they already blocked access to my room as they did not notice that I am "actively" staying in the room. When I went to the front desk, they insisted that it must be a magnetic strip issue with both cards and not what the house-keeping had told me. When i left the front desk, they had to chase me back as they realised that the deposit amount of CNY3000 is not sufficient to cover the room charges which was what I told the front desk staff at check-in. I love the hotel location and the club lounge. Unfortunately the overall experience is pale in consideration compared to my previous stay with Regent Beijing and the other 2 intercontinental hotels in Beijing. I would like to add that this is just my personal opinions based on various hotels that I had stayed in Beijing.

Breakfast was not vegetarian friendly, the menu is more local and not suitable for international travellers.
