Bed was amazing. Almost seemed out of place given the rest of the room setup. Location is amazing, given the street car is in front.

MISERABLE! Room #316 -A/C was INSUFFIENCEINT. Could not sleep because the old a/c unit was incapable of cooling the room. Getting up in the middle of the night to walk through a hot humid invisible wall just topped off the stay. Lighting? What lighting? Oh you mean the 1 table lamp? Yea. The outlets for the 2 other lamps and the standing lamp didn't work. So only 1 working outlet for the room itself. At least the bathroom outlet worked. ONLY 10 onsite spaces for parking. The rest are private parking across the street.

It was right on the St Charles street car line. In a quiet area. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were able to check in very early, with no additional charge!

The outside of one of the buildings really needs some love! (Back of building is in front of the parking lot across the street) it has what looks like shutters that have many pieces broken. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best-it was a gentle rain shower feel and the water didn’t get hot-it was warm.

This hotel was MUCH cheaper than any comparable room in the same area. I didn't have high expectations, but it was actually better than I thought it would be. The space was clean and the bed was comfortable. I couldn't ask for much more for the price.

The space is clearly showing signs of age. The fixtures were old and the bathroom was super small.

Loved the location and the staff, especially the front desk person Shania. She was pleasant friendly and professional. Loved the unique layout of the property and that there was secure parking.

I didn't like the half shower door or the waterfall shower. I wasn't able to take a shower and not get a lot of water on the floor.

The room was decent

I specifically looked for a place with private off street parking, which I paid extra for, but it seems that anyone could just use the parking and the restaurant onsite also took up all the spots. I was then told to park across the street in a open parking lot, which would be "patrolled" which is not what I paid extra for. Also the recpetion staff was a bit rude, after a long days of travelling you do not want to dealwith this kind of issues and rudeness.

Pool, free breakfast, friendly accommodating staff! Close to 24hr bar and food! Trolly right across the street and bus!

Il y a beaucoup de petites boules des fleurs au niveau de la piscine (ce n’est pas vraiment un défaut mais il faut en mettre un !). Il n’y avait plus d’eau dans la fontaine à l'accueil. La bouteille a été changée le lendemain.

Hotel de charme avec piscine très agréable literie confortable chambre spacieuse, deco de bon goût. Personnel très aimable et souriant honorant la magnifique LOUISIANE. Et ce fameux tramway nommé désir s'arrête juste devant la maison saint Charles hôtel.

Charming looking hotel with parking. Great location - although I’d originally booked it due to being on the St. Charles line which was partially closed for repairs while we were there (replacement bus on). But when it’s fully open, the location would be brilliant. Great pool & hot tub. Not very busy while we were there. Open until 10pm so great for late night dip when we’d been out all day in the heat. Lovely breakfast area - again not very busy but offering was simple & sufficient. We had an issue with our air conditioning leaking in our original room & the team were great moving us to another. Toiletries provided. Fridge / microwave & safe.

The hotel looks great but there are just a few bits that could do with a little TLC - the tap in our room kept leaking unless you got it exactly in the right spot. Both shower heads in both rooms moved on the walls. Parking at $25 a night is quite steep. But parking is at a premium I suppose for where we were staying.

This hotel is a gem. It is on the most famous street in the city. The façade facing the street hides what is behind it.

It was a nice place. Clean and comfortable. We were close to Burbon Street and the French corridor. The transportation was great. The buses and streetcars ran constantly and it was easy getting around.

There wasn’t anything that I disliked.

There really was nothing to dislike about the location. The staff was fantastic, the room was great, and the layout for the breakfast area was great as well.

$14.99 is a bit High for the breakfast that they had. It was your typical Hotel breakfast. The stop taking care of it was very nice, but I regular restaurant with better variety would have ran real close to the same price.

The property was full of stray cats that the staff fed. There were 2 roaches in my room during my stay. There was a Gould smell of cat food and urine around my room door.

We loved the location in the lower garden district, so easy to walk to restaurants and just walk our dog in such wonderful streets. You are wonderful about dog people! Thank you for allowing us to have our River with us. And the hot tub and pool were a nice touch and very relaxing after a long day of walking! Also love the high ceilings, quiet, and comfortable bed -- so much to like about this place. We'll definitely be back.

I guess the thing that left us feeling a bit despondent was the smoke alarm, which started chirping at 3 a.m. the day we were planning to make a long 10-hour drive back home. It is nothing you can anticipate I suppose, but there was just no way we could reach it with any furniture in the room -- on such a high ceiling, we tried helplessly just to sleep through it, but it was impossible. And we didn't want to wake up others with something that silly; I mean, what could be done? Who would have a ladder at 3 a.m.? So we just packed up and left. It's stupid of course, but man it was just irritating. (Maybe figure out how old your batteries are and have a schedule to change them before they start to go out?). I don't know.

There is no coffee in the rooms and it rained every day during my visit so I had to walk through the rain to go to the front to get coffee

Location and comfortable bed

The shower had no sliding doors or shower curtains so water went everywhere when we took showers. Pool was closed I'm assuming for maintenance. The workers don't announce themselves before just entering your room (while I was getting ready) definitely freaked me out. My fiance told the front desk they said they'll address it. Long story short we only stayed 1 night.

Hot breakfast was good (eggs, bacon, potatoes, sausage gravy, etc.). Room very clean. Bed/pillows very comfortable. TV initially did not work. Maintenance was very prompt in fixing it. All staff personnel with whom I interacted were very friendly.

Room should have more power outlets on tables. Location: Not the hotel's fault but the Streetcar transportation is very unreliable. Cars run on their own time - I would not try to take one if you needed to be somewhere on a fixed time (one of the reasons I picked this hotel is that there is a stop directly in front of the hotel). Maintenance work on tracks made dependability a major variable. Track could be closed in the middle of the your day trip - leaving you stranded wherever the car stopped. As a tourist city, this needs to be fixed.

Comfortable bed, clean, Thick, beautiful, black girl With long blonde hair was very nice, Since booking two night and via booking.com she was trying to assist without me placing another deposit down. Due to this was not a recreational trip. Then on the 4th of July during Fireworks watching the rude VERY rude Slim, black very young looking manager calls me to inform me I had to come and take care of more paperwork and deposit after I had already taken care of. This young woman DOES need to be in that position unless Customer Service education given along with personal appearance. She looked as if she came from partying thru her work polo on and came in. Hair a mess, polo/pants looked as if she has worn them 3 days in a row without wash/dry, press. Security not responding to the early Sat am profanity screaming adults fighting and attempting to bang so forcefully on a room door it could have left dents on that door.. Seen multiple HUGE possums taking their stay up in the court yard.

Paying almost 16.00 for breakfast, thinking it would be pretty decent. Then, turning out to be worse than Days Inn continental breakfast. Food was not even luke warm. Pool/hot tube hours could be more flexible. Late late hours if you're there to relax. The staff was amazing, we were checked in by Ms. Troylynn who was extremely kind and helpful getting us checked in. The rooms were comfortable and the location was great to experience everything in the city.

The photos on the website did not match the rooms, and some items were broken in the room or around the facility. The cleanliness of the room upon check in was also not the greatest.

My room could have been better cleaned upon my arrival. Found a dead roach in my bathroom when I first arrived and stains were on the door and walls and in the fridge . Should include better pictures of the room for accurate advertisement!

Steps to the streetcar, it is quiet location and neighborhood, staff always responds to needs quickly, and the beds are comfy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Maison St Charles. The hotel offers a fantastic, convenient location that makes it incredibly easy to get around the city. It is situated within short transit or rideshare distance to major hubs, including the New Orleans Convention Center and the vibrant French Quarter. The surrounding area has excellent dining options, making it a perfect base for both business and leisure travel. The property blends classic charm with convenience, providing a comfortable and reliable experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to New Orleans.

This place is beautiful. It's set up like a little French town. Rooms were nice, clean, very quiet. Staff was amazing. New guy whose name I can't remember, sorry, was so kind and really took time to individually talk to everyone, even our dog! Would absolutely stay here every time we come back to NOLA.

Staff is super accommodating and friendly. We were next to a party and they changed our rooms to a quieter part with no issues. Super convenient location with the trolley right next to the motel and very walkable with great restaurants all around it, including the one thats attached! Will be coming again.

Shower heads need to be updated and guests tend to talk smoke in halls. Maybe some signage to tell ppl to smoke only in designated areas.

Everything was as advertised -- nice pool and hot tub made this stay particularly likeable. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, and the room we stayed in had wonderful wood floors and high ceilings. It was tastefully appointed and seemed to carry an authentic NOLA vibe. I liked the coffee available in the morning, sitting out on the lush grounds that are just steps away from St. Charles avenue, which is a wonderful location near many great restaurants.

The hotel can't possibly have prevented this, but the morning of our departure, the battery started to go out in our smoke alarm, so it started to chirp loudly at 3:30 am. It was up on a 14-foot ceiling I suppose, and we did not know what to do without rousting staff from their sleep or creating a ruckus, so we just packed up and left. I was sad we had to leave so early but it seemed like the thing to do -- anything else would have been disruptive. I think there is not much the hotel could possibly do to prevent something that unfortunate from happening; I am figuring that building codes require smoke alarms to be up on the highest point of the room.

Réception fermée le soir jusqu'au matin. Parking onéreux. Chambre pas faite chaque jour. Pas de pancartes pour accéder aux chambres.

Une piscine salvatrice par cette chaleur.

Les horaires de la piscine sont trop restrictives. Impossible d’avoir un changement de serviette & ou d’avoir le ménage fait dans la chambre pendant 5 jours alors qu’on l’a indiqué CLAIREMENT avec la carte blanche sur la porte. Quand on l’indique à la réception, on nous dit qu’il faut contacter un manager, comme si c’était à nous de le faire. On nous répond dans le chat Booking après notre départ. Impossible de fermer la porte des chiottes donc attention aux étrons inhérents à la malbouffe locale. Le gang des chats de gouttière est mignon, les blattes de la taille d’un Kiwi un peu moins. Petit déjeuner médiocre.

This hotel could be really wonderful but the staff simply dont care and the management dont seem to know that the staff are taking the mickey, or also dont care.

The room wasn't clean Roach in rm Not enough towels for 2 adult. Had to repeatedly ask for a blanketcthat took most of the day to recieve.

Cleanliness was bad

The location was excellent. Jump right onto the streetcar and get anywhere very quickly. The pool and hot tub were a bonus. Breakfast was a nice additive.

The rooms were very dark and if windows are open there was no privacy, so it felt dark in there. The pool opened at 9, which was a little late considering the "gym" had no equipment in it. I wanted to work out early and it was one of the things that was important to me. The fitness room had a few weights and no machines. It would have been good to be able to swim early before breakfast. And if you went too late for breakfast nothing was left and we had to ask for them to restock everything which felt kind of uncomfortable for me but they were accommodating.

The building from the pictures when booking the room is what grabbed my attention but nothing was as it appeared. Overpriced breakfast n parking that’s not sure or convenient, rooms not clean

I love everything about it. I stay here every year when I visit and it never disappoints.

Die Anlage insgesamt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren sauber und geräumig, schade aber, dass man eher wenig Privatsphäre hat, da man von außen in die Zimmer sehen kann. Keine Möglichkeit ein Fenster zu öffnen. Der Pool und die Ausstattung waren sehr schön. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war schwankend, Speisen wurden teilweise nicht aufgefüllt, Wärmebehälter war an einem Tag defekt und wurde so belassen. Die Zimmerreinignug fand nicht jeden Tag statt und entfernte Handtücher wurden nicht durch neue ersetzt. Wir konnten aber beim sehr freundlichen Personal Ersatz bekommen. Insgesamt trotzdem sehr empfehlenswert, auch wegen der super Lage und gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Kostenfreis Parken außerhalb des Geländes war gar kein Problem und absolut sicher. Absolute Empfehlung !

HORRIBLE THEY ARE DISRESPECTFUL AND WONT COMPENSATE FOR ANYTHING

Highlights for me: The staff (from check in to security to the kitchen) they all get 5 stars; the location of hotel with streetcar right across the street gets 5 stars; and the yummy restaurant next door (Mr Ed's Oyster) also gets 5 stars. I'm so glad that I chose this spot for our first visit to NOLA

Besides the daily rain (not their fault) probably more lighting in the room. The 2 Queen sized bed room gave off a romantic vibe but I traveled with a friend and we didn't need the dim lights. One bright lamp in the corner by door would've been perfect. Besides that, it was a beautiful room.

Didn't expect the walking distance to the elevator for our room.

It was convenient, clean, a good value, and the bed was very comfortable.

It’s a little generic all around, and the lobby needs a scrubbing, with better lighting, coffee, music, and clean, solid furniture. The front desk people seemed overwhelmed and a little disorganized.

Location was right outside the St Charles Street Car, which was easy to use and only $3 a day. The neighborhood was quiet, and there was a security guard 24 hours/day.

Bathroom was not the cleaniest-dirty grout and the toliet was hard to flush.

They layout was nice. Fairly quiet.

It could use a few improvements. Maybe even a simple coat of paint in the rooms.

Hotellet var alldeles utmärkt men städningen fungerade inte alls. Vi fick inte vårt rum städat under fyra nätter. Vi påtalade problemet men möttes av en total nonchalans från personalen.

Ett otroligt oprofessionellt och ovänligt bemötande från personalen. Hotellet i sig är bra med ett bra läge till French Quarters. Jag fick även extra debitering från vår vistelse. Bemötandet gränsar till bedrägeri och förtjänar en varning.

Perfect location for exploring all of New Orleans.

We were able to get on the trolley right in front of the hotel every morning. It was close to everything but away from all the noise.
