Andaman Breeze Resort -

Staff attitudes are weird (but this is very consistent with the reviews I've read in the province everywhere). For example this is the only hotel in Krabi that: 1) On my last morning on a 4 night stay I was asked by 3 different staff at breakfast for my room number at the buffet to ensure I had paid for it??? It was already all paid on checkin and you don't remember me the other 3 mornings? 2) Another morning the staff asked me not to take my half finished cordial out of the breakfast area? What's the big deal? They have room service anyway. 3) Despite confirming this would be ok before my stay the front desk wouldn't give me a spare keycard we had different members of family so not everyone would be in the room at the same time.... Then when I knocked and nobody was there, the staff took FOREVER to come and open the room up for me I had to ask TWICE. What was I supposed to do? The parking, although included was always pretty much full. The only spots left are by half parking in the other cars already in the spots filled by resort related vans and vehicles. Realiscially only about 6 spots from memory and the 2 shuttles and some dive van always took up 3 spots already. The other cars were always there for the week so I had to park against a bush or risk parking those cars in. Hygiene in the restaurant is questionable, staff picking up leftover pastries for the next day and taking it out of the glass jar in the morning with bare hands. Some of the food wasn't fully cooked, the others feel like they just reuse the prior days leftovers for other meals. This was the hotel I got a minor case of food poisoning at and in hindsight that doesn't surprise me. Flies everywhere uncovered fruits. Be careful. Ants, a real issue. Crawling all over breakfast areas, in the room counter only. Otherwise that being all said, room felt clean and if you can expect a budget accommodation this would be good.

Good room size. Clean, large bed. Very small balcony. Not enough room for 2. Nowhere to hang wet towels or swimming costumes. Pool very small on second floor. Pics on website are misleading. Mismatch of loungers squashed together in tight space. No shade. No area to walk round pool. Not appropriate for families, children. If you like a nice pool area with lots of space and opportunity for shade thus is not the hotel for you. Good breakfast. Location good. Little bars and restaurants on doorstep. About 45 mins walk to beach. Lots of restaurants and shops on way.

Fint hotel med god service. Dog meget ringe pool område med få liggestole, af dårlig kvalitet, meget lille pool og der var ingen parasoller til at skærme mod solen. Da der er ca. 2 km til stranden ville det have været dejligt med et godt alternativ.

Don't bother, there are better options. The hotel staff is unfriendly, the location is not great and they will nickel and dime u to death. There is actually a charge to take a cup of coffee from the , very limited, restaurant to your room. Also was charged to "clean a dirty towel"??? Friends were charged for a missing hand towel that they literally did not even use. Again, it's a lovely area but this is not where you want to stay.

First of all they charged us for a hand towel that we either never got or was mixed in with the bedding. Secondly they do not accept credit cards which make it difficult after you have checked out and waiting to go to the airport and have no bhats left. To me that is poor customer service.

The best thing about this hotel is that its on a quiet street but at the same time plenty of great restaurants surrounding it. Its own restaurant is great and extremely affordability- I had lunch there everyday. The main bad point is that the beds are extremely hard, its as if there is no matress so keep that in mind. The friendliest staff, especially Toon who was professional and so kind.I used all the services including massage and laundry and everything was super. As a solo female traveller it is important to feel safe and welcome. This hotel did just that! I will definitely stay again soon.

Great hotel! The staff was nice and very helpful. The room was clean with hot water. You can hear what’s going on in the hallways since the wall seems on the thinner side. The pool doesn’t have many chairs to lay at by the pool but that was fine. The walk to the shops/beach was about 15-20min which we were fine with but there’s also lots of tuk tucks if you don’t want to walk. I would stay here next time we visit.

Twin room has enough space and a small balcony. Bed is a little bit hard, but ok. AC was quiet loud though.

Property and staff were great. Beds were hard as rocks. You're going to need a thai massage after sleeping in them.

After seeing reviews on here we had managed our expectations however the hotel itself was nice enough (note the hotel is now painted blue instead of the white shown in these pictures!). Although we were only told on arrival that the pool was out of use which was disappointing. The staff were v friendly, and called up our next next hotel to advice on our best travel option. The bed was firm but overall the room was a really good size, with a nice balcony, big walk in shower and decent AC. As said in other reviews the location of the hotel isn’t ideal, with it being 20 mins to the beach/ near the majority of restaurants of which some of is on a hill - however there is Bolt/Grab readily available in Ao Nang which proved useful in the heat!

Not child friendly hotel. Terrible service. Can’t even provide a single extra pillow. Most important they charge extra for children.

The hotel is brilliant, modern and clean. We were welcomed with drinks and had suitcases taken to the room for us. The onsite restaurant has really good food. The room itself was spotless with a lovely, modern bathroom. Mattress is very firm, which unfortunately wasn’t great for me but everything else, comfort-wise, was excellent. The pool is small with maybe 10 loungers. During our stay a group decided to book their loungers every morning with towels, staying there until the sun disappeared. The pool was always busy so we only used it for an hour. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the beach, more if it’s really hot! Far enough away to not be too busy.

The staff here are next level! I have traveled to a lot of countries and stayed in quite a few locations in Thailand and the service at Andaman breeze is the best I have ever had. They were wonderful and did everything you could ever dream of to make your stay as pleasant at possible. The staff gets 5 out of 5 - wow! The hotel is fine. There’s a pool and the rooms are big and spacious. It’s nothing mind blowing, but for the rate they charge, it’s amazing value for money. It’s in a decent location, but it’s a bit of walk to the beach - luckily it’s only about 100 baht with a tuk tuk. I would highly recommend staying here - I don’t think you can find a better value for money in Ao Nang.

Sorry! The best about this hotel is that it’s located in a quiet area. The pool area is very small. To get no 2 room key there is a deposit of 500 THB? The hotel is old. Sometimes it’s smell like earth ore old moisture wood, madras’s is hard as a rock, the breakfast is not the most inspiring ☹️

Dear Fellow Travellers I was with my family and had taken two rooms for 2 nights here are my observation - The Front Manager is super Rude -Pretty Far from the Beach -Huge Fuss on Towels they will not replace even if it wet , you are expected to dry it out - much better choices available - Food expensive The lady Manager has no respect for her employee and scolded each one of them terrible behaviour will not 🚫🚫🚫 recommended

Hotel is much more old/dated in real life. 12 minute walk to the main strip. Beds were on the hard side but we liked that. No English tv channels. Make sure to negotiate the tours if you book directly with the hotel. On the plus side the rooms were huge and nice balcony with views. Overall, for the price it’s good value compared to other hotels we’ve stayed in Thailand.

Perfect place 15-20 minutes walk to the beach. Quiet and calm 10 minutes walk good restaurants. Easy to catch a boat and visit the island. Nice place to stay in. No shopping malls but ypu have everything you need.

Travelled with friends as part of a multi trip and found this hotel to offer everything required for a comfortable stay. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and a friendly goodbye upon checkout. The hotel has a nice pool area with lovely cliff views and nice bar area. The hotel lobby also has a nice little shop for snacks, etc. Location wise, it is about a 25 min walk to the beach, however the hotel offers 2 free shuttle buses per day. Overall, I would recommend.

Location was not far from Ao Nang beach and you can get bike for rent very near to property and you you have pizza place and cafe's bear by. Pool was the best place with the hills in the background for good pictures

The hotel is old - location wise is not that good. The staff are not welcoming mainly the front desk and house keeping. The lady at the front desk was kinda shouting upon check in after few mnts from the check in I called to request an adaptor to charge my phone - she told me we don’t have you can go and buy from 7/11 at 10pm and it was raining and I was tired from my flight. Zero customer service from the front office team. I didn’t have towels in the bathroom I had like two decorated on the bed and they were expecting me to use it. So I had to request a new towels. Special thanks to the ladies who work in f&b during breakfast time even they barely speak English they tried to help me charge my phone. Breakfast wise is not that good - don’t expect much. It is far from the beach you have to walk around 35mnts to reach ao nang beach. The sheets and curtains were not that clean, as well forgot to mention that upon my check in the room I found small insect in the room. I’m supposed to stay 4 days there, I only stayed two days and I did the check out even my booking was non refundable. I do not recommend.

We enjoyed everything about Andaman Breeze Resort. The room was perfect,cleaners were so helpful and lovely, the restaurant and catering staff were fantastic. The swimming pool was so clean bar staff were great. We loved the front of house staff and their welcoming greeting every time we came back to the resort was so lovely and genuine. I lost my phone with my credit cards and ID in the phone case, the reception lady Sarah went above and beyond what would be expected of her to help find and get my belongings returned to me. Obviously my inability to speak Thai was making dealing with people to get my phone back more difficult. once I explained my situation to Sarah she took control and had my phone and ID etc returned to me. I can not thank her enough.

Rustig mooi hotel

A great spot. Kinda further than alot of other places but still nice.

Based on other reviews, we expected way more from this hotel. The rooms were fair in size, but not super clean. We also found 2 small cockroaches. The floors were dusty and the sheets and towels were stained and old. The elevator walls were not clean either and it had a terrible smell that was there throughout our stay. The breakfast was nothing to be desired - for 200 baht, go elsewhere. Communication with staff was difficult. Room was quiet on the top floor. Pool is ok - small, but clean. Hotel location is quiet, but too far away from the beach. If you're there when it is super hot, it's a far walk. Maybe in cooler seasons, walking would be ok, though tuk tuks are available at the main road.

Value for money

Very clean and comfortable stay. Only thing is the taxi service is overpriced and it’s difficult to get a grab car in this area. Highly recommend- as a North American I felt very comfortable here.

They literally gave us best available room. Which is surprisingly super pretty view. Thank you so much.

Hotel claims to only be 1km from the Ao Nang strip, but think that’s taken geographically without concern for roads etc. with the actual road, it’s actually 1.6km away. Near the mosque as well, so it’s speakers announcing 3 times a day can also be heard. 3 English speaking tv channels. You can do better for the price & closer to the actual beach.

Everything about the property was good. However check the rating of the day tour operators on google offered at the hotel before booking. We had a very poor experience.

The hotel looks like it was built in the last couple of years.Worth the money that I paid. Staff where very good and extremely helpful, bathroom was very nice. Peaceful and slightly away from the main road but close enough to walk to the beach about 10 to 15 minutes

Great facilities and very friendly, helpful staff.

I got this at almost half the standard rate, and that made me ignore two miner downsides: 1. This is about 100-200 meters from a mosque, and if you are a light sleeper you will hear and will be woken up very early morning prayers they put on big outside loudspeakers. 2. It’s a bit far from the beach. They do provide their shuttle at 10, 12, 2, and 4; but outside of that, you will need taxi. Sometimes, couldn’t get a taxi quick enough, and had to walk.

hard to be critical of this place, being from Canada, to stay in a hotel of this standard it would be in the 400.00 CAD a night range ! paying 28.00 night was hell of good value for me.

Very comfortable room, simple no frills but high quality. Room and toilet were clean, showering facilities were equipped with good water pressure and temperature. Many food eateries along the main street after a stroll out from the resort.

This hotel was fantastic for our week in Krabi. We liked that it was a 5 minute ride from the business of Aonang Beach shops and restaurant are because it meant having a place to stay that was peaceful and quiet. Its also a nice walk to and from town if you're up for the walk. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had and were overall very friendly. Such a clean hotel with modern rooms which felt very new. The only negative comment I could leave for this hotel would be the standard of WiFi. It seemed to log us out every half an hour of use, so it was quite annoyed when watching Netflix or doing some work on the laptop. It also wouldn't let you log in from time to time but it meant some perseverance was needed. Would stay again though.

It is very clean and comfortable. Not that far from the beach by walking, but they have transportation going and returning every one or two hours. They serve tasty food!

The good: -Property was very new -Pool area was wonderful with great views -Room was clean, modern, and comfortable The not so good: -Our wet towels weren’t replaced when the room was serviced -The hot water wasn’t hot, lukewarm at best -Breakfast was 300 baht per person, very steep by Thailand standards. We’ve regularly had nice dinners that cost less -This is the only hotel we’ve stayed at that didn’t have a water cooler to refill our water bottles, which is a great way to save a bunch of plastic waste from being created. Please consider this even if you decide to charge a nominal fee to have guests refill bottles -Despite the shuttle to the beach, the hotel was still quite far away away and would have been inconvenient had we not rented a motorbike from down the street -Hotel laundry prices were astronomically expensive... we’d have paid over 1000baht for the same amount of laundry that cost us 150 baht 50 meters from the hotel (she didn’t speak English but did a great job, 35b/kg) Overall this could be a really great hotel, they mainly just need to remember that this is Thailand and add-on services should be priced accordingly. Also, give guests the option to reuse towels, but if they’re wet they should be replaced.

Room is very spacious and comfortable. Very serene time sitting in the balcony which is facing the cliff and greenery.

Some of the staff we not very friendly. However the property was beautiful and close to the town.

At a very convenient location with regular shuttle buses taking you straight to the beach ( the 20mins easy walk to the beach is nothing to complain about either ) Pretty quiet place with an amazing view ! Helpful staff and clean and spacious rooms !

Nice building with reasonable amenities. Obvious care is taken to keep things in good condition. Service is where they exceed expectations. What sold us was the view of the fantastic cliffs looming majestically behind the building. Not too far from the beach but far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Hotel Location - good , away from the hustle bustle and yet close to everything - 7/11 , Tesco , massage , shops and ao nang beach ! Overall the location is good and there is a shuttle which would drop you to the beach almost every hour in the morning and till 9:30 at night . I think this feature is provided by other hotels as well because we saw a lot of shuttles doing the pick and drop . Check in and Check out - the check in at the hotel is super bad . The usual check in time is 2 o clock . We had travelled some 14 hours to reach Thailand and reached the hotel at 9:30 ! We requested them ( I had also sent an email beforehand ) if we could check in early they said rooms aren’t ready we were ok with it, I also requested for a single bed . We went to the beach had our breakfast and came back by 12:30 - 1 , rooms weren’t ready yet ! So we slept on the couch kept in the check in area . We kept lying there uncomfortably while had to go enquire again and again for the rooms ! At 2:10 we were given a room , twin beds and they refused to change the room ! after back and forth conversation for a while our ordeal ended and we got a room on another floor and thats how the check in happened . I didn’t understand what was the whole rigidity of timings and not giving a room was . The hotel is overall clean , breakfast is good for non vegetarians . There is a great limestone cliff closeby .

For those who prefer peace and quiet this served well. Admittedy it is a llitle away from the beach but is still within an easy and accessible stroll( approximately 15mins) Lots of convenient stores ,shops and eateries nearby. The staff were friendly,helpful and quite well versed in English.

It’s a bit of a walk to the main area of Krabi (15 mins) and there’s no bar that serves any alcohol in the resort. It’s a dry resort. Other than that though, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Staff are very friendly also.

Didn't like that we asked for an ice bucket and they said we would be charged for this. Also found some front desk staff didn't understand alot of English which made things difficult at times.

Beautiful hotel! Super clean and very friendly staff. The hotel is a bit far from the beach but they have a free shuttle that takes you to the beach which is super nice. Breakfast was great at the hotel too.

New built hotel with everything in excellent working order, hot shower, big bed good air con. Spacious rooms with storage space coffee tea facilities 2 water bottles per day left in the fridge. My room had a beautiful view of the mosque and the mountains. I had a balcony with 2 comfy armchairs. TV in order but no satellite programmes. Not a problem, pool was clean decent size and had a bar. They offer breakfast for 199 Baht per adult but I did not have it as I had made other arrangements. It looked good. Very happy with my stay, I would stay there again. They also offer transport to the town, they have a shuttle and the timetable is on the reception desk.

My 3rd time at this hotel. So clean and peaceful. The staff is extremely professional and courteous. The only thing I could possibly improve is I wish it had a fitness center and one or two tv channels in English. But I love this place so much.

The staff at the front counter and throughout the resort were very hospitable and friendly. They were always available to assist. Surroundings and atmosphere is serene and quiet, and location is pretty good as they provide shuttle service to Ao Nang beach. Restaurant (buffet breakfast included) served delicious food. Will definitely come back! Thank you!

I loved my stay at Andaman Breeze. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They called to make reservations for our shuttle to the airport and let us shower in the pool area as we checked out at 12pm but didn't fly out until 8pm. The location was ideal. While it's off the main street this means it's quiet, with very little outside noise. They also offer a free shuttle to Ao Nang beach, but we walked everywhere. It was only a max 20 mins to get there but the street is busy with lots to see so seems even less. I would highly recommend staying here.

nice breakfast..

The view from our room was stunning, we got upgrades and had a double twin room with a huge balcony which overlooked the beautiful limestone rocks. The swimming pool also overlooked the same scenery. Our room was very spacious and clean and could not fault this hotel at all. The staff were the most friendly and would do anything and went out of their way to make our stay special... nothing was too much. The breakfast was superb. Would 100% stay here again

Great facilities, large breakfast with good selection of fruits, eggs, bread, etc. Spacious room, modern hotel, free shuttles (to the beach several times a day, but back to the hotel only 3 times a day, could improve that). The issue we had was that we paid for a queen sized bed and ended up with a twin room during our first two nights. It was disappointing because we are a couple.

Excellent hotel, great service but location is a little far from town.

Great clean place. Rooms are spacious. Ac works great. Bathrooms are wonderful. Pool overlooks beautiful cliffs grounds are tranquil . A 15-20 min walk to beach but hotel offers free shuttle every other hour. Would stay again.

Off the beaten path, but makes for a quieter and more scenic stay. Loved it.

1st day they gave us 2 single bed and unable to give us double bed as hotel rooms were fully booked. Next day they changed our room and give us very big room with huge balcony, big bathroom with separate shower with whirlpool bath taps. Extremely clean and bright room. They cleaned our room every day and give us free bottles of water, new towels and new beddings. Bed was very comfortable to sleep, from the balcony nice view of the mountain. Breakfast was amazing with variety dishes to chose from. Everyone on the reception was extremely very helpful when we needed help with our tour. Great location away from noisy rods, Beach was 20 mins walk away, few mins walk to restaurants, 7/11 shops. Swimming pool was nice with a bar. They have luggage storage too. This hotel should be at least 4* for me it's a 5* hotel and reasonable room price.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was very clean and the staff was super friendly! They had a shuttle that would go into many different areas in Krabi which was quite convenient. I will definitely come back to this Resort again! The buffet was also very delicious!

This is a very new hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The pool area is nice. The biggest plus was the amazing buffet breakfast which was always fresh and delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. The walk to the beach is a bit lengthy.

Hotel was lovely, about a 15/20 minute walk to the beach which was also handy. Staff were ok however did not go out of their way to help with any questions - I also ended up going to a different hotel to book my taxi to the airport as they only offer one service which was 800bht... not great for a solo traveler when I only paid 150 to get there.
