I stayed at Frank Ao Nang Krabi Resort in March and overall had a relaxing experience. The resort is located in a quiet area a little away from the main street, which makes it peaceful and perfect for unwinding. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the main road, so keep that in mind if you're not renting a bike or using tuk-tuks. We booked a Pool Access Twin Room, which was clean, cozy, and had a very comfortable bed. The direct pool access was great, and the mountain view from the room was beautiful — a really calm and refreshing vibe throughout the stay. The staff were friendly and polite, and most of the stay went smoothly. However, one downside was that when we arrived, we were told that due to a "late booking", our reserved room was only available for two nights. For the third night, we had to move to a different room upstairs, which was actually a lower-priced room. That part was disappointing and quite inconvenient, as we had booked in advance expecting to stay in the same room. Aside from that, the overall experience was still enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with mountain views, pool access, and a quiet atmosphere near Ao Nang — this resort is worth considering. Just be sure to double-confirm your room availability if you're staying more than a couple of nights.

Frank Ao Nang was a great short stay for us and we will return to stay again. The staff were amazing and so lovely to deal with. There are two great pools and the surroundings and view are magical. It is a short, beautiful walk to the main road and the gorgeous beaches and beach clubs.

We had a little bungalow and it was very cute! This is a little hotel off the Main Street and about a 25 minute walk to the beach and lots of shops along the way! Close to one of the new night markets which was fabulous, clean and had lots of food options!

Fantastic stay! Had to stay here after checking in at another hotel and it being dirty. Frank Resort is very clean with people cleaning constantly round the pools and site. Every day had floor mopped, new towels and 2 free bottles of water put in the room. Unfortunately the shower didn’t have hot water but it was so hot I only wanted cool ones. My friends attend in another room and had hot water. It comes with hairdryer and private balcony. Pool is lovely, watched them clean it every morning and evening. Restaurant on site wasn't the best however you are just off the main road so only 5 min walk to lots of restaurants. Quiet location also! Have lovely staff and a travel agent at the front who is a lovely lady! She helped with everything, booking tours, lifts, airport transfers, recommendations etc! And all of this for only £150 for 4 nights!!

De glemte at sørge for transport fra lufthavnen, som der var aftalt. Da jeg ankom virkede døren til værelset ikke. Det tog 30 min at ordne. Der blev ikke forklaret om hotellet faciliteter eller restaurant. Hotellet var ganske udemærket. Og det sluttede fint af med personalet.

Séjour superbe avec un personnel aux petits soins. Un conseil louer les scouts auprès de l'hôtel pas plus cher que chez un loueur dans la grande rue. L'hôtel est Bien situé au calme dans une rue parallèle à la grande rue touristique.

Wir hatten einmal Probleme mit der Toilette und einmal mit der Klimaanlage. Beide wurden nach Meldung sofort behoben. Die Anlage ist schön und das Personal freundlich. Leider ist meine Frau am Pool zweimal in Glasscherben getreten. Kann passieren, sollte aber nicht.

Frank ao nang est un super hôtel. La piscine est agréable pour se poser tranquille. Le personnel est souriant et agréable. Les chambres sont propres. Par contre, il faut en parler. La porte qui donne sur la chambre d’à côté c’est presque vivre avec les voisins. Et l’eau…. Pour une douche compter 30 min et encore. La pression est proche de zéro et quand l’eau chaude arrive faites ultra vite. Car aussi vite arrivée qu’elle repart aussitôt. Je pense que pour un soucis d’équité on a droit à 10 sec d’eau chaude par chambre. Sinon dommage car pour le prix ça reste vraiment très correct.

Nos ha gustado la zona de la piscina. El hotel y alrededores son muy tranquilos y silenciosos.No está lejos de la calle principal.

Okej hotell men skulle behöva en renovering! Extremt hårda sängar så är man i behov av någorlunda mjukhet och sömn så skulle jag inte rekommendera detta hotell. Sängarna va som brädbitar! Fin och trevlig service i receptionen och stora poolen va fin, den mindre mer smutsig.

My partner & I had 3 nights here. We were pleasantly surprised by how gorgeous this place was! Both pool areas lovely and both get the sun. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms with water provided daily. Jan on reception was an absolute star!! She’s there all day and can give you advice on everything. She helped us organise a private island hoping tour and gives honest advice with no up selling and can get you great deals. It’s extremely peaceful yet only less than 5 mins walk to all the bars and restaurants and a nice 15-20 mins stroll to the beach.

Very nice hotel with very nice staff and very good value of money, I spend few days in frank ao nang and I was very happy to stay in this hotel, very quiet no noise and near to everything u need in krabi especially the amazing ao nang beach and famous street just walking distance and u get there the hotel rooms are very comfortable and and very clean, there is also a hotel tourist representative in the check in area she is very helpful she can help you with whatever u need to do in your journey, thank you frank ao nang for the great stay definitely recommended and absolutely will come back.

Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war hervorragend. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top, das Personal etwas scheu aber sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Der Pool und die Zimmer sind sehr schön und es gab sogar einen sehr preiswerten Wäscheservice (60B/Kg). Es gibt auf Nachfrage bei der Lobby Getränke und Essen für am Pool. Die ganze Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert und der Flughafentransfer preislich gut und gut organisiert. Die Lage war grossartig (10 Min. Gehminuten zum Zentrumskern und wenige Minuten zu guten Restaurants). Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden sofort wieder bei Frank Ao Nang übernachten! :)

Me and my partner stayed here in a bungalow for 5 nights. It is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bussel of the main road, but still only a short 5 minute walk to the main road with all the shops, bars and eateries. The resort is clean and tidy with two swimming pools and two bars and cafe / food court. Our bungalow was serviced evey day by friendly staff. This resort isn't the Hilton by any means, but it is clean and comfortable at a good price. I would certainly stay here again on my return to Ao Nang.

The cottages are spacious and clean. The resort is well maintained and has two pools. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately an open drain running through the property has a revolting smell. On top of this during my stay the restaurant closed for 2 days with no explanation as to why. We also had a water failure which lasted some hours. For these reasons I would not recommend this accommodation.

The room is clean, the bed is big and comfortable. Pools are clean and deep enough for swimming. The garden is beautiful and well-kept. The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the prices are also ok. If I had to single out something from the positives, it would be the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Throughout, we felt as if we had come to visit our relatives.

Amazing location and a super restaurants that m site. The rooms are big and clean. The pools are amazing and the staff super friendly. The restaurant on site Ko Toy is super. Gorgeous food and great prices. Definitely have some food here as you will not regret it.

Great Place to stay while exploring Ao Nang and Krabi. Hotel locates in a quite area, 3 minutes walk from the noisy, busy area and main road. Rooms are very clean. Large, blue, Swimming pool with jacuzzi. Staff are supper friendly and willing to assist you on any issue that might arise. At first, I booked the room for one week, but latter I extended my stay for a month as I realize that this is the best hotel in the area. The hotel has a restaurant where you can have morning expresso and breakfast. I enjoyed real local homemade Thai food. I love the service and chef. They allow me to have my private dining experience with my own music. Strongly recommend this restaurant. You can talk and negotiate your own dining experience.

Good clean hotel, friendly staff, good location. Stayed 3 nights could of stayed longer but had other plans. Hire a scooter from the hotel 125cc 250bht. I would recommend this hotel. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby but couldn't hear them from the hotel.

It's difficult to be unhappy in Krabi so to be frank , I had a great time in Krabi...beautiful islands , gorgeous Mother nature, lovely people everywhere so I had a great trip ....the only stress was coming back to the hotel ! My check in experience was poor. The staff are new and untrained...I suspect they've been telling everyone they are new for a while now...They don't speak any English at all..not one word...so I was witness to many guest complaints and the reception staff were pretending they understood nothing... I returned late at night to find my room not cleaned even though the sign was out and I had personally told both the reception and housekeeping staff to have the room cleaned . Staff is lazy and just looking for excuses to shirk any work...no mopping is done and cleaning even when done is a desultory affair. And it's not just the staff...the owner Frank is just looking to escape from irate guests...even though he speaks English perfectly...small wonder then that this ethic trickles down to his staff. Pity because the property and rooms are good...Garden is lovely with terrific birdsong and plentiful flora and fauna , pool is nice and I loved the wonderful overhanging cliff across ....The bungalows next to the pumphouse are very noisy...but by far the worst thing is that telephones in none of the rooms work ...so I had to trek to the reception from my bungalow each time to request reception staff for the various things wanting ...also very unsafe because you can't report to the staff in an emergency as phones are not functioning...Also it's really far from Aonang beach..and though a shuttle is mentioned in the booking page they don't use it .. the van just sits parked in the grounds without service provided to any guests...so it is inconvenient ..you need to take a taxi or tuktuk each time...If only Frank cared more for his guests and property, all would be fine...showers would drain and rooms would be cleaned ...guests would be happy... But meanwhile you are spoilt for choice in Krabi..so Frankly stay elsewhere !

The room was great, no menu in room or room service. Pool area was not kept clean and sunbed cushions were disgusting.

Loved our stay here! Although it was located a bit outside of the main area, it’s perfect if you want to relax and get away from the crowds. We took a shuttle downtown a couple of times and it worked great. The pool is awesome especially with the backdrop of the mountains :)

My wife and I stayed at Franks 6 nights we had a room in B block opposite the reception middle floor, our balcony had the sun most of the day which was great overall Franks is a quiet place two pools the better one been at the front of the building, it’s a 10 minute walk to the Main Street there’s a hill at the top so you need to be reasonably fit if your up and down a couple of times per day , we really like the place very clean room spotless staff very nice .only one thing let the place down was breakfast not good, I would stay there again but forego the breakfast..

Rent a scooter from here to access the beach and restaurants

If you like WiFi be prepared to spend your time in the hotel lobby, WiFi in rooms very poor to non existent. Loads of mosquitos. No restaurant. Overall very mediocre stay.

We loved the setting of this property as well as the pool. It was a peaceful place. The rooms were quite small but satisfactory. The beds felt like you were sleeping on boards. Breakfast was just OK. There was some difficulty communicating with staff, language barrier, but they were friendly and helpful. It is a 20 minute walk to the beach. Frank Ao Nang has a shuttle they offer for 50 baths/person.

Fint och bekvämt, det enda vi reagerade på var att det var lite längre från stranden än vi hade tänkt oss. Annars var allt bra!

Good location near the central street but also close to the mosque which means you get woken before dawn by call to prayer.

A lovely small hotel where everyone was a friendly with sufficient amenities for our needs as we were out and about most days. We loved our stay and recommend anyone to check it out

I started for 4 nights and I liked this hotel a lot. Stylish dedign, staff came help me immediately after called the reception, clean, comfortable bed and nice view. I wish I could watch English speaking TV programs but it might be too much to ask.

The staff was friendly but the hotel room did not have hot water which is unacceptable for me when I am travelling. Also, we had arranged a van for the airport and a car versus van arrived and there was a delay to get a van to fit the passengers in luggage which caused for a very stressful ride to the airport, we did make it. there is a small bar with blender by the pool, but it never was open while we were there?

The hotel is new, recently remodel, the pool is good, the breakfast is poor, I recommend you that you going to the market and buy the necessary. Walked 5 min and found restaurants. The room is big.

The man at the front desk in the evening told us that Breakfast was included with our stay. They checked off our room number BEFORE eating. At check out they charged 400 Bhat for breakfast saying that the man made a mistake. Supposedly , the manager was not there and was not answering her phone. Was set up and ripped off. Much better food for far less everywhere. Would NOT recommend this place because of this .treatment. Pictures look much better than actual place. Across the street from run down shack type housing

Ingen frukostbuffé man fick själv beställa. Ligger också långt ifrån stranden inte 450 meter. Nytt fint hotell o bra Wi-Fi enda positiva tyvärr. Ligger lite avsides.

O hotel em si é bom. O problema é a localização se você estiver a pé. A rua do hotel, que levará a do comércio, é escura, mão dupla e sem acostamento. Essa rua não é extensa, mas tem que tomar cuidado com os carros (principalmente, à noite e não esquecendo que a mão é inglesa e, portanto, atenção redobrada na hora de atravessar).

Veldig bra, men det var bare en i resepsjonen som snakket of forsto engelsk bra. Hun var i tillegg veldig hjelpsom. På den veldig positive siden var at vi fikk rommet tidlig på morgenen etter en lang flytur. Ligger tilbaketrukket i forhold til hovedhata, så det støyer ikke. Store og fine rom. Veldigvbra renhold.

Vi droppet litt rundt i Aonang før vi siste uken fant dette hotellet. Tilbaketrukket fra hovedgaten, med to svømmebasseng. Gangavstand til alt. Helt flott. Minuset måtte være at de ikke serverer frokost, men det gjør nabohotellet. Eller man kan rusle opp i hovedgata, der er det mange muligheter. Betjeningen snakker dessuten veldig godt engelsk. Skulle noe annet trekke ned, er det moskeen i nærheten. Men den høres over hele denne siden av byen. Rommene er veødig bra, med nok varmt vann. Veldig bra renhold.

A lovely hotel located on a quiet road just off the main road and 10 minute walk to the beach.The room was newly renovated, really modern and clean with an amazing mountain view. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great amenities and fresh pool towels provided in the room everyday so no need to ask for these. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definately recommend to anyone considering a stay in AoNang. Also great value for money! 😊

Phantastic location, unfortunately restaurant our of commission, but everything else was perfect!

Just off the beaten track, Frank, is a rare find in busy Krabi. After being slightly dubious about the lack of reviews, we arrived to quickly realise this was because it’s a brand new hotel! They’ve only been open 2 months, but we were looked after as if they had been around for years. The reception staff were so friendly, and their English was brilliant. The pool was clean, and the sun beds were great. We ended up spending a lot of time around the pool, which is not in the norm for us! The room was amazing, it exceeded our expectations by miles. Only a 2 minute walk from the main part of Ao Nang, and about 5-10 minutes to the beach. Frank doesn’t yet have a restaurant (although they said they’re building one now!), but there’s so many places to eat just minutes down the road. We had the most amazing stay at Frank, and would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much!!

I really liked this newer hotel with an amazing pool and an amazing view. Very nice rooms, Some things weren’t working, but they fixed it right away. Was a short walk away from the main road and a little longer of a walk from the beach. Sad I only had 1 night here.
