they can accommodate a big family. we were 10, there was a pool in our accommodation. it is near the happenings e.g. afam bridge, cloud 9, etc. it is nice and quiet at night, and if you want to just chill and not go out, kids will love the pool a couple of steps and your in afam bridge, getting transpo is no issue at all. they also help you if you want to rent a motorbike for trip

The location of the property is wonderful!

I cannot recommend this property due to severe maintenance issues and a total lack of host accountability. Upon arrival, the villa smelled strongly of mold. It became clear that significant water damage and black mold throughout the unit had simply been painted over rather than properly remediated. As someone with a mold allergy, this was a serious health risk. My business partner and I reached out to the host immediately, but we received no response for over 24 hours. By the time they replied, we had already been forced to find safe, alternative accommodation. Despite providing photographic evidence of the damage, the host was dismissive, refused a refund, and even accused us of lying. They eventually canceled the stay on their end but kept the money and immediately attempted to re-rent the mold-infested villa to others. Avoid this place for your own safety. Edit to respond to hosts message. Images are not fabricated and ARE from this property. I also have a video of me walking onto the property and filming the damage which the owner has seen and did not deny in person.

Great value! Absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and the owners were very helpful. They arranged scooter and car rental to be delivered to us. I would definitely stay here again when I am back in Siargao.

Die Lage war sehr schön, die Villa war sauber. Das Highlight war der eigene kleine Pool und der etwas größer Pool in der Mitte der Anlage. Die philippinische Frau die sich um die Villas kümmert war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Ausstattung der Villa war sehr altmodisch. (Geschmackssache) das WLAN hat überhaupt nicht funktioniert und das TV auch nicht. Der Eigentümer hat es geschaft den TV am letzten Abend zu reparieren. Das Wasser hat sehr nach Eisen gestunken.(kann am Regenwasser liegen) Das WLAN haben wir am ersten Tag angesprochen der Eigentümer hat sich am letzten Tag darum erfolglos gekümmert. Man findet in Siargau deutlich bessere Bleiben zum halben Preis mit funktionierendem WLAN, TV und normalem Wasser. Alles im allem war die Villa für ca. 6000 PHP pro Nacht das Geld nicht wert.

The private pool was great. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Owners were hospitable, friendly and helpful.

Heerlijk gelegen net buiten de drukte van General Luna en een behoorlijk eindje van de weg af. Daardoor geen hanen, honden en brommers (met en zonder luidsprekers). Ruim huisje met keuken, groot bed en zwembadje. Het grote zwembad is gelegen in een prachtige tuin. Het personeel laat je zeer welkom voelen. Hostess Zaina is fantastisch en zeer behulpzaam.

Het énige minpuntje: de Wifi kan veel beter.

It is easy to connect with the host for the wifi , water and to discard the garbage. He will help you where to get food or any concerns.

The faucet in the room with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, the faucet is not functioning better. But very petty to think about.

Mick who helped us get an early check in was a really nice guy. Staff worked hard to help us when we needed to arrange vans/tuktuks, and did a great job of cleaning the villa when we asked. Villa was nice, plenty of room, good AC, nice area, bike parking, nice pool.

Extremely friendly staff and they made sure we had everything we needed.

Close to the sunset bridge/afam bridge

There is no light when you entering the property too dark during the night which is very concern when you just walk

The private beach, the helpful and cordial hosts, free paddle board and capacity use. Gorgeous sunsets and cooling pool.

I loved everything about this place it was very private and the villa was amazing and beautiful and you even have your own little pool to relax in super quite at night as well so you can get a good nights sleep would recommend for any couple

Si no dispones de vehículo privado (moto) estás un poco alejado del centro (General Luna). En nuestro caso no supuso inconveniente.

the personal pool, we have a mix family 2 year old to 17 year old. so everyone need something a bit different. the Sunset Bay Beach Villas was the place for us. first real holiday in a long time.

Great place for my extended family, 7 people incl kids. They loved the private pool. Nice with 3 bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms. The manager is very helpful! I heartily recommend this place.

Surely the owners. They are really nice people. The position is good too, it's quite andreally close to the Sunset Bay Bridge. The garden is nice and there is a big patio in front of the main door of the house. The house is enough clean. There is a little pool totally free access.

The house was quite disappointing. The furnishings are quite old. There's a strong smell of damp. The biggest problem is definitely the water coming out of the faucets: the shower has low pressure and the water has a strong metallic smell. A second problem is that the large bedroom, with two beds, on the upper floor doesn't have air conditioning. The access door to the house is definitely defective. I must say that we also didn't like the "private beach" (which is totally impassable because it's small and full of algae and leaves) and the access road to the complex, which is dark at night and in poor condition. It gets muddy when it rains.

We had such a wonderful time in this place. We were looking to stay both in the quiet area of Siargao (the first half of our stay) and then move to where it's all happening (party, music etc.) Sunset Bay Beach Villas was perfect for our first few nights here in Siargao, peaceful and quiet and was ideal for what we needed. Lovely pool and private beach! It's also just a few steps away from the famous Sunset Bridge where a lot of guests in the island gather to not just see the sunset but to enjoy so many tasty street foods and drinks! Mick, our host, has been very accommodating and was always ready to help us with whatever we needed. His parents are such lovely people too, and always made sure we were okay. 😊

Location to the Bridge was excellent

NO DAILY CLEANING, even to wipe the Kitchen surfaces.. it was poor and the Toilet BLOCKED and it took a very longtime for the manager to turn up and simply use the Plunger instrument to unblock it. The master Bed was awful and horrible , with a large wooden border frame projecting upright. Myself, my wife and young son always hit our legs when entering or getting out of the bed. My son’s leg is still not correct and has MANY bruises on the Shin Bone. I would NEVER recommend this establishment to anyone !!! It was truly DISGRACEFUL !!

We loved our stay there, the owners were super friendly and easy going - we got offered an early check-in. It was extremely clean and well maintained area! We would definitely come back!

Our villa was comfortable. A big bathroom, separate cr, a good working air-conditioning in the sleeping room and a big and beautiful sittingroom and kitchen. Our private pool was amazing. Lovely the special sweets. The owner very friendly and helpful. The area is very quiet.

Great location at the quieter end of town and also fantastic for sunset as the name suggests. Coffee and biscuits on arrival from Mike the exceptionally friendly host who promptly sorted a bike out for us. Beautiful gardens and pools and spacious accommodation.

Loved the private pool, the host Mike was a super host, nothing was a problem, anything you wanted or needed he would drp everything and get it sorted for you, top tips on where to go, what to do and where to eat. Top bloke! The water pressure was good, rooms very clean, bed comfortable, A/C working perfectly in the bedroom. The location was excellent being so close to sunset Bridge but you could literally hear a pin drop inside the villa. Kitchen and utensils were great, fridge was decent size. Private beach was great and faces directly into the sunsets, would I stay here again..... In a heartbeat.

Nothing, my only suggestion is a plastic tray with water that you can put your feet with sand on it and clean the before going into the house

Mick the owner & his parents were great hosts. Very friendly & so helpful. From the booking to the friendly conversations. Nothing was a hassle for them. The pool was lovely & clean. The landscape grounds around our accommodation were absolutely beautifully. It’s exactly as advertised. It's also so close to Sunset Bridge (100 meter walk) where you can eat street food while the sun sets and Catangnan is just a 5 min walk away. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back soon! Well done Mick & his parents! 👍

Great place for your Siargao holiday: - spacious and clean villa - friendly staff and ready to help out where needed, they offer scooters for rent at affordable prices and have great tips - located right next to the sunset bridge where everyone gathers to see the sunset

From the booking process to the friendly and beautiful conversations we had with Mick and his parents this was hands down one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. It’s exactly as advertised and has a really nice family feel.. the hosts helped us get scooters and pointed out the best places to go and were always up for a chat. The vila we stayed in had aircon and I stayed in the loft upstairs and it was super comfy.

The wifi is not super fast but phone data was more than sufficient plus the local cafe has great coffee and good wifi for work.

Close to Sunset Bridge and catangnan. Quiet pool. Large fridge. Very large patio.

Mick met us upon our arrival and welcomed us to our villa. He showed us the villa and the property and made us feel at home. The villa and stay exceeded our expectations both in quality, service and location. When we left he arranged for transportation early in the morning to the airport. We will definitely stay there again.

We took a tuk-tuk from General Luna to the property. The property was open and ready for us. The owner and his family were on the property and very helpful. The grounds are lovely, on the water with free paddle boards and a pool. The house is good-sized with two bedrooms.

We had a wonderful stay. Mick the owner and his parents were great hosts and very friendly and full of advice, Mick helped us get whatever we needed. He even took time to drive me down to the local shops to get a SIM card. The accommodation was spacious and spotless and had all the kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. The pool was lovely and clean and the grounds around our accommodation were beautifully landscaped. The entrance to the resort is right next to the famous sunset bridge. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back again in the future. Well done Mick!👍

Everything! If you’re looking for a place to go with an exceptional host you found the right spot. if you’re looking for cloth napkins, the JW Marriott is in Manila. Siargao has its own beauty and charm. For instance, this property is located right next to the famed Sunset bridge. This is the beauty. The power goes out from time to time, there’s the charm. They do have a generator to keep the essentials going. The hot water was hot, the cold water was cold, the aircon was spot on. It’s the Philippines, sit back and enjoy the sunset. The owners are located next-door. If you need something, ask. Micko and his family are simply amazing people. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

There is no downside unless you’re a habitual complainer. In that case you’ll find many things wrong.

Wifi didn't work. Electricity would start cutting out around 8 pm and continue through the night. Had to keep starting the aircon. Kind of far to General Luna. Big mix up on shuttle to airport. Was suppose to be 300 pesos per person, driver charged us 1000 pesos total because we were the only ones in the shuttle. Jacuzzi had bird turd in it.

Very quite and you have your own little pool. The aircon was 10/10 we needed it . Use of paddle boards and kayak are a good touch. The Mick was so nice and we throughly enjoyed our stay. 100% recommend to everyone we have spoken to.
